This is a rape/gangbang scenario hentai with a slight twist. I am basing this review on the first two (2) episodes. [Story 5] The story, in a nutshell: the main character was a former top fashion model who has since retired to raise her younger sister. The younger sister was able to break into the fashion modeling world with the help of her sister's connections, but has reservations of never being able to meet the expectations of the public, being related to a former top model. She joins a self-help group, which turns out to be some sort of rape cult. After learning of this, the oldersister must infiltrate the cult to save her little sister. Many semi-rape scenarios ensue. [Art/Animation 9] The art was superb. Clean lines, nice colors and top-notch character designs. The main character is particularly beautiful. Animation is very smooth during sex scenes, quite better than most titles released this year. [Scenes 7] What you can expect: Threesome, some group, 1 girl 3-4 guys, orgy. Be warned if you hate the old man-young girl pairing, this may not be for you as it is quite prevalent. That being said, the show is fairly tame and the scenes are best described as semi-rape or semi-forced. There is semi-unwillingness, but no mind-break. [Overall 7] Rape scenarios typically aren't my thing, but Ran-sem stands apart with great character design and fluid scenes. I was especially fond of the main character, whose voice acting was very passionate and full of zeal, making her stand apart of some more generic heroines in similar titles. Overall, I enjoyed Ran-sem. 7/10

Now the scenes are very nice, I liked them a lot, but in the back of my mind, the poisonous thorn of rape stopped me from being able to masturbate. Long story short, this monk, austere in his faith of raping women, rapes a bunch of women. It's only slightly not as bad as real Catholic monks raping young boys, but it's still pretty bad. If you like rape, this is your buffet. If you watch hentai for the plot and don't mind rape, this is the pearl of the oyster. If you hate rape... well I think you're watching the wrong genre of animation, friend.
It's not often that you find a hentai with a pretty decent underlying meaning. The one that I seemed to have derived after watching it, is that jealousy is a terrible, terrible thing and can get you into a seriously sticky situation (that's definitely a pun). Story (5): Not the best, I've seen this sort of trend happening with rape hentai a lot. The main heroine involves herself with an evil cult in order to find her sister. The only creative thing about it was that this organization believed you could find your inner release through sex, the only reason it's categorized as rape was becauseeveryone is pretty much brain washed to believe it. So basically, it's an evil rape cult, and because of Anna's extreme jealousy for her sister, she let herself become part of it, eventually leading to her sister becoming part of it too for the sake of Anna. Art (7): The art was pretty good, the women are pretty attractive and nicely drawn. It was fluid and everything was nice to look at. The only thing that bothered me was the old men, not only are they old, but they look disgusting, not really anything you wanna be looking at. Thankfully they don't show their faces much, just their huge members. Sound (7): The voices were all appropriate. I especially liked Riko's voice (the older sister) it was pleasant to hear and the voice actress did an amazing job with showing her emotions throughout the entirety of the hentai. The music however was lacking. There wasn't much of it and when there was, it was just that typical menacing music you hear when something wrong is happening. Character (4): For the first episode, you get a pretty good understanding of Riko and her love for her sister. You see how far she would go for Anna's sake, and there's really a lot of development in those terms. As for Anna, it's interesting to see how much the realization of her jealousy progresses and how easily she deteriorates. The other characters are really odd, everyone in the cult is basically a pervert, and the cult leader is a psycho who enjoys taking advantage of people's weaknesses. The characters weren't very likeable, except for Riko. Did I enjoy it (4)? I would say not really. The story is pretty harsh, it wasn't very interesting at all and it felt like it was lacking. Well, can't expect much from hentai anyways. Good in terms of the actual sex, but that's about it and you should stay far, far, away from it if you dislike rape, and old men. Overall, I say give it a try if you're into rape and harsh story lines, but otherwise, don't waste your time.
