WHAT THE F*** IS THIS ANIME? It is so sick and twisted and sadistic I truly have no words. I've felt somewhat uncomfortable ever since I wrote a somewhat slating review of the hentai Amanee, so I was reluctant to review this one. I was out the second the bull turned up. I mean, it's possible to ignore fisting, so although it's something I hate, it's endurable as I wait for the fisting to end. making sure not to move my hand at all by mistake cause then "Eww, I touched myself accidentally to fisting". I had forgotten about the title, but not the horror of the bull saliva. I skipped to the next scene after the bull went away, and it seemed like bog-standard BDSM stuff, but nope. He PIERCES her nipples and clitoris. And when you think that's as far as it goes, he clips electrical conductor wires to the needles and electrocutes her. Now, I'm definitely the only girl who got off the the electrocution scene in Euphoria, but this is why.

So I guess the main difference between this and Pigeon Blood is that in Pigeon Blood the weirdest thing is that your waifu actually has a pussy for a mouth, but in Kowaku no Toki, the weirdest thing is that a group of men gangrape and... amputate... a woman. Kowaku no toki..... this twisted hentai is capable of depressing any normal person. What really separates this hentai from other; is the fact that it is so real. Maybe the character's actions and reactions aren't realist BUT it is certainly more real than other dark fantasy hentai. The reason i say this is because it does not have demons and trolls and other monsters you would expect, but it has people like you or me (except for the ugly antagonist; not really sure if he is human). After watching a few hentai this will be my first review for one. I am not writing this saying OMG MUST WATCH. Actually quite the opposite. This is by far one of the shittiest ones I have ever watched. With the whole rape thing set aside, since it is common in hentai; that or incest. This one had me questioning what is mentally wrong with who ever wrote it. Heads up there are spoilers. I can get over the rape and having the female characters fisted, etc. What did me in was at the end where the MC's friend gets amputated and killed. What inthe hell was up with that. Also one other thing with the MC ends up having sex with a kid (for those lolicons), this hentai crossed several lines that didn't need to be crossed to begin with.
Even with all of that set aside there is no enjoyment to this hentai. I wouldn't even recommend it for desperate spank bank material.

Kowaku no Toki showcases a wide variety of extreme fetishes and although it does a great job at what it set out to accomplish, it is too bizarre, violent, and unhappy for me to be able to recommend this show to all but the most hardened viewers. Story: 4 The pacing is okay, but the story itself is very incoherent. Besides being confusing, the atmosphere of the story was dark to the point where it detracted from my overall enjoyment of the work. Art: 8 The art is definitely good, but it looks the same as every other PoRo hentai. Sound: 8 The mixing was on point. My only problem wasthat the "sloshing" sex sounds were a bit exaggerated, but then again, that's true with most hentai.

The majority of the characters are generic (but let's face it, that's not why you're watching hentai for). The main reason for my rating was that the ugliest of all ugly bastards is in it, and he kept getting more screen time as the show went on.
