Pigeon Blood tells the story of a guy who lost his memory and for some reason is the "master" of a mansion full of sex slaves. Some other day, the main guy is intercepted by a cute girl who surprisingly asks him to let her be his slave, and she'll do whatever for him. Based on a game by Abogado Powers. (Source: ANN)

The art wasn't bad, considering it's time (and the fact that most - if not all - hentai has particularly bad animation), however, the story was utterly tactless. Not to mention Episode 2 is quite... well, if you decide to ignore me, and go ahead and watch it, don't watch it at night. All in all, it either made you laugh (but not in a good way), or cry (definitely not in a good way), and you could have spent your time doing something much more productive. Give it a miss, for your own sanity...
Happy New Year everyone! What better way to bring in the New Year than reviewing another god awful hentai from the bowels of Hell? This is the amazing story of Pigeon Blood! Pigeon Blood has everything you could possibly look for in a Z-Grade, 1/10 hentai. Horrible animation? Check Unattractive character art? Check Sex scenes that would kill a 20 Viagra erection? Check Nonsensical plot? Check! No name, shit studio? Check. AT-2 apparantly The plot is that a man wakes up with amnesia and is informed by his servants that he's an evil overlord that runs a mansion full of sex slaves. Our MC is rather pleased to hear this newsand commences to rape, torture, and kill the slave girls. So...what was the point of him having amnesia? There was no point! It's an anime, so let's have amnesia thrown in! Then our MC gets bored and invites a few dozen evil rich dudes to come join his torture/murder party. Wait a minute....did Eli Roth direct this hentai?! Nah...the dialogue was too good. Pigeon Blood prides itself on being a "Guro" hentai. I always thought this word was from a Japanese pronunciation of "gore". In fact, it's derived from the word "Grotesque". That's why Guro isn't just blood and guts. It also tends to involve vomit, needle torture, and of course poop. Lots of poop. I've watched many anime that I would describe as shit, but half of Pigeon Blood is literally shit! Unlike the last hentai I reviewed, there are credits for this one! Some people were apparently proud enough of this masterpiece to add their names to it. The composer for Pigeon Blood also did the soundtracks for Sekirei and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. Speaking of which, the director of Nanoha was Akiyuki Shinbo and he spend the early 2000s making hentai for AT-2! We also know that Shinbo is a guro fan and admitted to directing the guro hentai Blood Royale in 2002 for AT-2. I don't have direct proof that Shinbo also directed Pigeon Blood, but I'd be willing to bet money on it. So there is a high probability the director of Bakemonogatari and MAL's favorite Shogi anime made this shit. (scratches chin). Maybe Pigeon Blood was actually highly intellectual all along and I was just too casual to see it! The word is out! Pigeon Blood is ELITE! Add to your 3x3s on /a/ immediately.
Pigeon Blood is an anime based on the game by Abogado Powers. It starts off with a man, the main character, remembering the period of time of about six months ago, and claiming he knows everything now; unfortunately, this is the beginning of a plot thread that is left dangling, one that was not left hanging down in the original game. Events in the past start when, watching a slave's training, the main 'hero' (Chris) sees a girl, which gives him a headache. Later, when the slave is brought back to the house, the girl he saw has come with, and begs for a place, willingto do anything. This begins the story, which, while in the game actually led to some drama and development, the anime OAV seems to just use as an excuse for kinky sex. The animation, given the time frame, should have been better (Pigeon Blood the game came out in, what, 2002?), but looks like it was made in the 90s. There is even an instance of a missing cel. Plusses come in the fact that the anime has a decent sound setup. Creepy music, building sounds and effects, random noises; all these build up the drama that SHOULD be inherent in the story. The story should have been a plus as well, but where the game holds fast to it, the anime chooses to go the route of a gangbang. Negatives come in the fact that the overall story feels incomplete. It is like they could have told the story in 2 chapters, but didn't, planning a longer arc that they never got a chance to complete. All, in all, avoid it if you can't enjoy the remaining psychological elements that managed to exist in the transit between game and anime.
I found a hentai I actually enjoyed omg let the land rejoice. Story ~ 8 The story of Pigeon Blood, although weird as fuck, was quite a stable one for a hentai and crossed over nicely with characters that were actually quite unique, t be honest I'm annoyed that we don't learn more about this whole slave sale operation. The secondary story is even more interesting as it focuses around Chris, who has lost his memory and finds himself in possession of a mansion used as a training ground for sex slaves, and a girl desperately seeking refuge, becoming a sex slave to stay in the mansion Art~ 10 The art used in this was actually pretty good, brutal when it had to be yet also exuding innocence and purity where needed. If anything the art also builds up on the whole story and characters. Sound ~ 9 Can never say much when it comes to sound as I don't know what to say but hey it made me flinch a whole load. Character ~ 9 Surprisingly enough the characters in this were absolutely astounding and I was intrigued in nearly all of the them all throughout, especially Elza whose secret actually kinda disappointed me cos I guessed I forgot for a minute I was watching a hentai. The relationship between Chris and some of his 'maids' and 'trainees' is actually really intriguing. Enjoyment ~ 7 Although a bit confusing at times and disgusting I quite enjoyed Pigeon Blood and would recommend this for someone who is looking for an intriguing plot in hentai, as long as you don't mind the gore that said plot entails.
Pigeon Blood is an OVA series by AT-2, and it is quite frankly one of the most appalling hentai I have ever seen. I went into this knowing that it would probably be gruesome. I went into this knowing that it would probably be gross. I went into this knowing that it would probably be, at best, mediocre. Pigeon Blood was all those things, but I'm not mad about it. I'm just disappointed. Pidgeon Blood does have a story, but I'll be damned if I understood any of it. The protagonist, from what I've gathered, is a guy named Chris. He has amnesia, and runs some sort of sex-slave business and owns a mansion of depravity. However, while Chris is nominally in charge, his actions are being guided by henchwomen of the antagonist, Reginia. One of the sex slaves Chris comes into possession of is a woman named Rita, who causes him to have flashbacks to his past. All of this "plot" is largely concentrated in the first episode, and the second episode ultimately does very little to develop the story, outright leaving plot threads unresolved for what I can only assume was a sequel that never materialized. This renders the story, even if it was initially interesting, completely worthless. The art is absolutely abominable. I'm not sure if there was an issue with the version I watched, but everything seemed blurry, especially during distance shots or when lighting techniques were used. The drawing is passible at best, particularly on the doctor and the driver. However, other characters like Chris and Rita are drawn terribly. The animation is generally much better, and it can be fluid when it wants to be. However, some scenes, especially from a distance, look comically lazy. The lip-synching is also abysmal. And I watched the Japanese version, so there is absolutely no excuse. The sound, which I've almost never found problematic in anime, is some of the worst I've ever heard. The sound simply vanishes at certain points, and I have absolutely no idea why. Whoever was in charge of the SFX for this abomination really ought to be retroactively fired. Overall, Pidgeon Blood is disgusting on every level. It has torture, scat, murder, horrific body modification, and plenty more. But worse than that, it's simply made like garbage. Nobody was pulling their a-game when they made this hunk of shit, and it's obvious from the very first frame. 1.5/10 Would I recommend Pidgeon Blood? Hell no!
Story- disturbing no real investment and pretty much non existent 1/10 Art- OK for low budget porn i suppose 1/10 Sound- constant screams and other unpleasant sound effects will haunt my nightmares 1/10 Enjoyment- DID NOT ENJOY!!! 1/10 Overall- would give a 0/10 if allowed. kill this anime with fire and make sure it never resurfaces again! This anime was absolutely appalling! it is one of the only things i have seen that have made me physically sick to look at! do yourself a favor, do not watch this and spare your eyes brain and stomach respectively. There are scenes in here that go far beyond just poor taste.i understand that this is a hentai, but there is a line even anime poor can cross. this line involves something arousing and something absolutely disgusting. this managed t cross far beyond disgusting a mile ago. DO NOT WATCH!!!!
Death is preferable to watching this show, but yet, I keep on watching it. It is literally the worst I've ever seen. Everything I describe about the show sounds like I've just had a fever dream. It is hell, it is a trainwreck, and I've probably seen it four times. Do you want to see a woman with a vagina for mouth? A woman giving blowjobs so fast that men cum and immediately die? Their dick being torn off? Do you want to see a woman piss blood, urine, and pus out after being whipped so hard her vagina piercings come off, but then the cameramoves around in a circle to show that this pee is actually poorly rendered 3d? But then the 3d splashes onto the "screen"? Oh, and let's not forget the main character. He who doesn't just matrix dodge the 3d pee, but also plays the ocarina with the poor girl he's torturing to begin with just for shits and giggles. If so, watch it. But I can't guarantee your sanity.
Instead of reviewing such an irresponsible work, I would like you, the ever-ethereal reader, to imagine the following: imagine a world where it was possible to find a two-episode show that reaffirms male hypersexuality and anatomy as the pinacle of sexual agency while requesting tutelage within the leavened and turgid political environment that allows for such acts of grotesque popular art to become acceptable (as demonstrated by its pathetic grasp of fetishes and an inability to find a limit) to not only legitimise itself as a product of an industry, a culture, an author, but to convince itself of its own artistic merit. The horrorthat you sense in the words within these notes for the prospective viewer is not founded upon the images that floated past their vision, for the images, by definition, can leave nothing to the imagination. Rather, it is within the realisation that the world I asked you to imagine is the world I found this show in. It is, almost, enlightening that true horror still exists. It is neither in the human trafficking scene, nor in the scene where artists with no control decided that they wanted to see a perenially tortured woman have forced sex with a more-than-willing (at the moment) demure creature, appearing like a woman but with two penises below and a vagina for a mouth. It is in the realisation that there are no boundaries left that an "author", a "culture", an "industry" cannot go. For that means there is nowhere left to go.
This show appalled me from start to finish. I kept watching in hopes that a moment of clarity would come to either redeem or condemn these thoroughly repulsive characters, but that moment never came. As far as the story goes, you never learn anything. It's like the creators wanted you to have the same level of amnesia as the main Master guy. I have a very low tolerance for bodily waste and one scene in this OVA actually made me sick to my stomach. Most of the characters are bland and uninteresting and the few that aren't are quite simplysome of the worst people I've ever had the misfortune of watching. This is a definite skip for me and I will be glad to never watch it again.
