Overview: As a slightly older anime fan at 26, I have seen a LOT of shitty anime. Some think that anime has only recently started going down hill and there wasn't shit like Boku no Piko and Seikon no Qwasar in the glory days of the 1990s. Those people are wrong...because this unholy abomination exists. Story: 1/10 A little girl learns how to do an erotic twerk dance and becomes a fertility goddess with huge tits. However, you are supposed to wack off to a little girl in an adult's body. Its Lolicon and giant tit fetish hentai like Eiken at the same time! Honestly there is noplot in this piece of shit. If you want a summary of the plot...tits. That's the plot! Character: 1/10 There are no likeable characters or clever character development to be seen here. Only poorly drawn giant titties. Much like Dennis's drawings from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Art: 1/10 The very least an H series can do is have decent art right? I gave mentally handicapped and morally repugnant Seikon No Qwasar a decent rating in the art department, so I don't just rate 1/1/1/1/1 because I hate the series. The art truly is deserving of a 1. Sound: 1/10 An obnoxous "tropical" chant happens when she does her racist jungle twerk. I guess that counts as a soundtrack Enjoyment: 1/10 I would rather beat my tongue wafer thin with a meat tenderizer and staple it to the ground with a croquet hoop, than watch another episdoe of Jungle De Ikou. Overall: 1/10 This series pulled it off. The imperfect 1/1/1/1/1. It absolutely sucks in every category. Even Mars of Destruction would get a 2 in soundtrack for hilariously using shit quality midi recordings of classical music pieces. This is the 2008 Detroit Lions of anime! Watch it if you dare, but don't say I didn't warn you!
Jungle de Ikou is another one of those prime examples of a title that banks soly on its "echhi" factor, that it doesn’t really care to make much emphasis on anything else. Story: 2/10 Or lack there of one, basically all it has is Natsumi (main lead) receive an ancient artifact from her dad, and is told she is suppose to save the world from the "god of ruin." Now I am all fine with a three episode OVA developing a mini plot like that, but there is just no emphasis on just where they are going with it. As the first two episodes simply have Natsumitaking on either a jealous rival, or fixing mistakes which she made herself!! Which are just mostly used as time fillers for the main showdown with the "god of ruin" to arrive. When Natsumi transforms herself in to "Mii" (goddess of fertility and the heroine) all she does is bounce around on screen with her overly huge breast, which the camera draws close into ever few minutes, without her actually having any style as to how she defeats her enemies. (Now I don't have a problem with fan service, but most of the style in which they do it in just comes off as more disgusting than anything else.) Most of the time she wins by pure accident because the enemies either kill themselves, or she makes a mistake in the fighting which works in her favor. (though she does defeat the end boss in a redeeming way of sorts) The whole story overall is just a bunch of crazy erotic dancing that is meant to keep the viewer entertained, but mostly comes out as rushed and totally inspired! Honestly I would have much preferred them to just combine the first part of episode one with the last episode showdown, as the first two episodes deal nothing with the over all plot it makes, and just has the main heroine wasting her time on totally unrelated things. There really is no excuse for this, because it is only a three episode OVA!!!!! That being said though, even the last episode feels rushed itself, as the main villain just pops out of nowhere, and the viewer isn’t even given any chance to figure out just who he was the whole time! I guess it goes without saying, but some viewers will find this offensive. What with its close up breast shots, sexual and erotic dances, and an old man that has a saber tooth jamming out of his crotch. Art: 5/10 Its decent enough, considering this is actually an older title the anime does show some pretty good color and detail for its time. The characters themselves what with their chibi style design, I found to be cute too. That aside though, their overall style and appeal is just a lack luster, and most viewers will probably find them more on the side of generic than anything else. Its almost like the artists drew one single character design, and incorporated little bits and pieces of it to most of the entire cast. (In other words, I found the character design, while cute, to be pretty repetitive and lifeless!) Which is sad since the characters themselves do move with pretty good fluidity! Its does its job alright, but there is just no substance to it. Sound: 6/10 Truly the best part of the show, it gives off these cool jungle beats that differ depending on the situation in the series, they climb to a suddle style heartbeat when a enemy is lurking, then beat faster as the action takes place. Even though that's pretty much the only memorable piece from the background music! The opening j-pop theme titled "J" I actually kinda liked, its a nice party mix theme, (even if it does seem a bit dated by today's standards) and the ending one was alright as well because it gives off a more sincere tone, which at least adds some variety to the mix. Most of the character voices on the other hand come off as just down right annoying, they just overact way too much! While others make it obvious they are reading from a script. Character: 3/10 Sigh......it had potential, but all the characters are just totally undeveloped. And those with actual redeeming values either steal it from another style of characters found in another anime, (Nami the nice girl supporting character) or simply do it by over acting, which doesn't come off as funny in the least. I just couldn't really connect with any of them, as most supporting characters were too by the book as far as personality goes. To its credit though, they have all characters both supporting and main, given enough spotlight time to where you don't ever feel they are simply hiding them in the background, thus using them for show. The only character I kinda sorta liked was Nami, but even that was more of a default feeling, since the whole "nice girl" character always gives out that kind of attraction! Bottom Line: 4/10 Jungle de Ikou had a nice concept here, but just never gave any attempt into working it together, as this title feels overall like a rush job. Which is sad since I feel it had a nice idea with the whole "Jungle superhero" theme, had they given some effort into making it more than just a girl with huge breasts bouncing around all over the place, it could have been great! As it stands I really can't recommend this, other than to the huge "hardcore echhi" fans out there. There are much better series in this genera out there, I would personally just skip this one.
A short little story me and my friend watched at his suggestion...Okay I don't regret it but at the same time I could've gone without it. Story- Story think spirit world meets real world to create comedy. This series was funny and slightly perverted. I'm not lying about the funny part when the dancing started I fell over laughing and spent the next week cracking up whenever I thought about it. Art- Art was surprisingly good if the animation hadn't been so dang choppy it definitely would've made a better score but hey nobodies perfect and this series is a bit old. Sound- I was so happy thatmy friend owned the DVD can you say subtitles and japanese audio I can and I say thumbs up to the voice actors. Also what impressed me about the sounds was how well background music matched the situation most animes tend to just cycle music then again I suppose this series never got the chance to because of how short it was. Character- Character development was not that good in fact the only real character development I got was when they explained the whole this happened thousand years ago blah blah blah thing. Enjoyment- I thought the series was pretty dang funny I for one found it hard to not laugh. Overall- If you want a good laugh this is pretty good series be warned though it is a little perverted so if you can't take a little ecchi humor you shouldn't watch this.
First, I wouldn't rate this anime as R, PG-13 would be more appropriate because there's no sex and the most revealing thing we see is Natsumi's panties. I really loved this anime because there were plenty of moments that made me laugh and the characters are so great I just wanted to keep watching. The story is great because when you first here about Ongo from the old man that gives Natsumi her powers you automatically assume he's going to be evil and the antagonist of the story, but his personality is the complete opposite of what I expected. Furthermore, the old man's warning foreshadowsthe ending which made me wonder how could a character as funny as Ongo be evil? Plus, the anime has a good fluent plot despite the fact it's only three episodes long, I've seen some animes 50 episodes long with worse story than this. This anime also follows a pattern I've seen with magical girl animes which is the heroine has very poor control of her powers. Magic was the source of some of the funniest moments is the anime because I could never tell what would happen next and I was amazed at how fast things started off calm and turned into a catastrophe. The only thing I wish is that this anime was longer because I really wanted to know these characters more. Also, there are some parts in this anime, particularly the dance Natsumi does, that may have been too ecchi. This anime isn't for everyone because there's some parts some people might find too dirty, but the anime isn't just about boobs and can be really funny. Plus, the whole anime is only 90 minutes long so it's the perfect thing to watch if you have nothing to do. I really hope they make a sequel some day.
Jungle de Ikou... I legit think this is the first anime I watch with such contrasting elements, even knowing beforehand that it's a full fanservice anime... anyway, let's go. I don't know if this review can be considered a spoiler warning or not, as I'm going to be very direct with some points. Read with discretion (or just jump to the last paragraph, where I do my veredict). Jungle de Ikou is a very poor anime, even for its main objective: fanservice. The Story is interesting enough, or at least the synopsis got me in that way. But it's literally wasted in every way possible, not even justin favor of the fanservice. I even feel the whole title, synopsis, and even the anime opening is a sort of bait, but a really bad bait. Or maybe it's just me, but I'm going to be really honest here: what would you expect from an anime that introduces itself with a sort of "tropical" ambient and characters, or that its own title literally translates "Let's go to the Jungle!"? At least I expected something related to a jungle, indeed. But sadly, it's completely the opposite: it gets ambiented in a damn city. Knowing this, is there even something bad else worth to say? Yes, the story can't solve itself. There's no need to elaborate in each episode after knowing this. In short words, they just wasted a interesting plot. About the Art & Sound, I have no big issues with. Pretty decent for the age, catching OST (including the opening and ending) and overall decent. Indeed, the art was an appealing factor for me to watch it, I really like this kind of old anime artstyle, like tall/big eyes or stuff (like Slayers or GS Mikami, for example). Now, speaking about the Characters... damn... as I said before, how contrasting elements had this series. The "main cast" is decently designed for me, every character had a proper role, the problem about them is the lack of development (which of course goes hand in hand with the lack of story development), or even just the focus of them. Like yes, you expect fanservice, therefore a busty girl bouncing her chest, but not even that is really well done. Enjoyment... nope. I sure laughed in some scenes or something, but not anything else. Nothing much to elaborate in this point, honestly. Then... it's overall a 3 for me, sadly. And I say sadly because I had decent expectations about this anime (yes, decent, not even good expectations). But it couldn't even reach the decent spot. To be fair, it was probably a mistake from my part, to have some kind of expectation about it, but I really tried to watch and analyze this without any (or the less possible) previous knowledge/critique. I can't recommend it at all, unless you fully psyched up that it's a bad thing, before watching it. Because it's actually bad. The worst thing of all is this was officially licensed in the US, hilarious in the weirdest way possible.
This was weird, the story is basically about a girl whos father gives her some strange little statue that has an evil god inside of it, she sleeps and another god gives her a necklace that allows her to use some of the power of his wife by twerking Yes you read that right twerking, what the actual fuck is this Cuties looking ass shit I'll be honest, I got a few laughs out of it since the comedy isn't the worst thing to exist, But writing is still really weird Rating here is 4/10, Bad just bad, could be worse but there's some laughs I guess butthe weird undertones the mini series has just make me uncomfortable
I mean the whole reason i even watch this shit is cause of random recomendation from the algorithm but with that aside this show has no depth.no good characterization and shit be just happening just because,Also what is up with episode title being the words happening which is okay... But with that being said thiks show has some amazing OST,and really smoooth animation that was paired with such an art.And kudos for the Characters designer for this show cus they cooked with the design. Also i didn't expect the OP being really good but it did,so dumb show but enjoyable. And sometimes the one liner is pretty goodin this show. Overral 6/10 for enjoyableness 3/10 for the stories
