Well as it was only 5 minutes long, I'll make this extremely short. It's simply a 5 minute preview of all the famous clamp characters between 1995 to 2006, set to a cheery song by Maaya Sakamoto. Just 5 minutes of happiness to see all your favourite clamp characters do their thing. ^^
Well being that this title is so short, there isn't really too much to touch up on. Quite frankly this video is made for Clamp fans, the theme song that plays is titled "action!" It has quite a lovely beat to it, and you will find all of Clamp's recent work here done in sharp well animated scenes. Characters ranging from the more popular titles such as Cardcaptor Sakura, Angelic Layer and Rayearth. To the less well known such as Miyuki-chan in Wonderland, Legal Drug and even the manga only Kobato! Over all the video is fun and entertaining, though I did have one tinycomplaint with it. They didn't have the Clamp worlds interact with one another like they did in the first video, instead all you see is the two Mokona's visiting them. Regardless though, if you are a Clamp fan you will love this music video, if your not......then this will probably make you more intersted about their work. So again to recap: Pros: All the Clamp characters rolled into one video, nuff said! Catchy j-pop song. Beautiful artwork! If you loved the original, then you will love this one! Cons: (Mokona's aside) The characters don't crossover into each others worlds like they did in the first. More popular characters get more air time then the less known. Not quite as well planned out compared the original Clamp in Wonderland.
Well, there are already two reviews that pretty much sum it up and if you've seen the first CLAMP in Wonderland, you know what to expect. I love the Mokona's journey through all the CLAMP stories. It's funny, nostalgic and dreamy. I especially love the part where Mokona falls in the soup and Kamui pouts. The music is catchy and makes me happy. It all looks great and the ending with the Tsubasa burst is a perfect finish :D
Nice followup to the original CLAMP in Wonderland mashup AMV. With my favourite CLAMP series Kobato, Angelic Layer and Chobits all making appearances in this AMV, I definitely prefer it to the first one a lot. It was neat the way it gave a sneak peak at Kobato before her series proper started too, the Chobits sequence was great too. It was nice to see Chi/Elda and Freya back together, and Chi and Hideki were just too cute dancing alone at that one part. Great stuff, if a bit thin on a plot, it looks and sounds great though, a great CLAMP showcase.
Rate a firm 5 (mediocre) seen via english subtitles Notes: like the first one this two is broken into two parts an intro piece and a conclusion. Also, this is a scene mashup. Or a timeline if you will of shows. First time i say the basics of this was clamp in wonderland 1 with 2 now see i have a more general idea of what is going on. Since it took seeing another for needed background knowledge is one of the few things why this got a poor rating. Pro(s) -artwork depending on the show stayed the same for the most part seeing how some of the characterswere stripped from their original show background. Con(s): -art: seeing how this is a timeline as i mentioned before treat it like someone. I understand you wish to reflect on what was done but provide a better catalog of events. Without organization leads to chaos. The only reason aside from reading a backstory on this that i know it is a mashup of different shows is because i watched chobits in the past. If i did not i most likely would have thought this was a new show different from other shows. Which this is not. -plot: similar to my negative art comment make something easy for the reviewers. How about Chobits made in_____ followed by _____. Or how characters jumping in and out of manga in an order of some kind that is made apparent. -plot: remained the same like season 1. From the romantic music to the sighing finish. Same random mix of characters free-for-all. Ending remark:A true fan no problem on the pickup an amateur will need help. Finally, so much could be done it is just sad to see it wasn't. The only reasons why it faired as well as it did was it was so random it was slightly funny(not haha funny) and it was a good way back memory jogger.
