Comedic Gold for a Hentai. In fact, Mankitsu Happening LITERALLY means Comedic Happenings. Mankitsu Happening has all the elements of a good hentai: amazing art, dynamic animations, sufficient personality, and a solid premise. The premise for the story is the Male MC (Keiichi) is down on his luck cause he keeps fucking people by accident. It's like Rito Yuuki, from To Love-RU, ascended to another dimension. The bizarre premise allows Keiichi to slip into some fancy situations--or should I say slip into some fancy women. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) The only issue someone could have with the story is that it is unbelievable. Despite being a completelyrealistic hentai, it's about as ridiculous as tentacle porn. If this bothers the viewer, then there could be some major issues since trying to find justification for anything in this hentai is going to quickly make your libido go south.
However, if one can suspend that disbelief and focus on the valuable things like the poses and the scenarios the characters undergo, then the hentai truly shines.
Mankitsu Happening uses subtle background music to stimulate feelings of suspense, ease, and excitement. The subtle use of the music essentially shifts the priority towards the amazing voice acting. It's also quite surprising how well the silent bgm is utilized so as to not detract focus from a situation or to lead up to events.
The characters are one-dimensional, but they undergo dynamic changes in their actions as they encounter new events. These reactions are enough to justify the void of how meaningful each character is as it parallels with the premise of the story. Keiichi makes perverted woopsies and the women react by escalating it to sex. Even so, while the characters may be flat in their personality, they certainly make up for it with how "round" their plot is.

While I definitely enjoyed this hentai a lot, it ended up frustrating me a little bit. In terms of presentation, the series keeps up with Collaboration Works' high standard. The studio did a really good job transferring the VN art which was not particularly great into animation. All scenes are pretty well animated, though there is some obvious looping. There are also many ahegao faces, so if you don't like those you won't enjoy this as much. Also, as you'd expect from Collab Works title, there are several not very subtle references to other works by the same game company, such as posters and cameo appearances.Some of them were even made by a different studio.
The story is pretty simple vanilla stuff. We have a guy called Keiichi who possesses some kind of mysterious ability. He manages to seduce and bang every girl he meets, which got him into trouble and fired from every previous job. Now he works at a manga cafe and really hopes not to get fired this time. But as expected, he gets into various awkward situations again.
One thing that I didn't expect from this anime was that there were several genuinely funny moments. You just don't see these often. I'm obviously not gonna spoil them, but the particularly hilarious moment was the one in first episode where the protagonist trips over in the bathroom and gets a blowjob from Rei.
The characters are also simple, but varied enough. I wasn't a huge fan of Kururu, I am just allergic to girls that shout the phrase "ONIIIII-CHAN!" and her scenes were by far the weakest.
Rei on the other hand was simply great, if your fetishes are MILFs, anal and milking, she will fulfil all of them. I am not a particular fan of these, but the hilarious scenes combined with her stoic personality made her the standout character.
But my favourite character by far was the idol Otona, not only because I personally found her the hottest, but because her introduction where she tried to chase the protagonist was hilarious.
In my opinion, the second episode might be one of the greatest hentai episodes ever. In the first half the hot blonde idol shows up and gets some action and in the second half we get a massive orgy which involves anal, breast sucking, double blowjob and more. I watched that episode at least 10 times already.
But the series is not without its problems, the next 2 episodes are significantly weaker, the third one just contains several stealthy scenes including one in the cupboard and more anal sex.
And the 4th one is just pointless, a new girl get introduced that owns a bigger manga shop, but her scenes were really mediocre and she doesn't even have sex with the protagonist.
These episodes were definitely rushed since they came out only a month apart from each other.
In case they announce another episode, I really hope we get more funny moments and awesome group scenes.

Okay. Before I start the review, the first thing you should know is that I don't like hentai. I haven't seen many of hentai titles, but I had very negative experiences with a few of them. That's why I didn't expect much from Mankitsu Happening, however in the end I was pleasantly surprised. The story of a boy who always happens to be in a ticklish situation with girls was very funny and I enjoyed it. Some of the situations were really bizarre (in a good way), so I laughed solidly during the first two episodes. The third episode still contained some good "highlights", butsince the latest female character appeared, my interest slowly waned and I almost didn't enjoy the last episode.
The characters were monotonous and predictable, but at least Rei and Otona were really funny and I enjoyed every second of their screentime. Kururu was cute, but also noisy and annoying, so I didn't like her very much, and Sayaka was totally horrible and useless, which is reflected in my final impression. However, within the hentai genre, I haven't seen such a great female character as Rei before, so I am really satisfied.
The animation looked very nice and with its creativity further improved the final experience, so the technical side was also good. You can't say the same about the soundtrack (which was very annoying), but we can't expect classical music from a comedy show like this, so I guess it's probably okay (?).
The quality of the whole series is mostly added by the comedy, which is really successful and original. We can see a lot of functional parody, bizarre and irony here. Very important is also the contrast between humor and animation, which work well together. Therefore, it's very understandable that the biggest driver of the whole show is the comedy. However, the quality of sexual content is very high, so it has much to offer both for proven perverts and for people who don't like erotica very much, because the sex scenes themselves are very funny too.
Finally, I would like to describe this four-part series from Collaboration Works studio as the king of the comedy hentai genre and rate it with strong 5 points out of 10.

No bullsh*t or underhanded twists. However, there was a sort of drawback in the end because I am used to continuous storylines and therefore it didn't really feel like it ended. It kind of left me hanging.
The art well... it is literally sensational. The Last hentai that I saw was Eroge! which was also made by Collaboration Works. I have now concluded that they make the best hentai in the business.

But is Mankitsu Happening is worth checking out? Yes. The overall animation and art is pretty good, and all of the sex scenes are solid. I've never been so confused to the who, what, and why of the setup of a sex scene. I know the writing of a hentai is not it's strong suit, but I didn't think it would be this hard to write "woman walks into room and wants the guys dick". And to top it all off, about a week later, she's opened a net cafe down the street. And trying their best to not lose a job, our Main Protagonist and his harem try to sabotage the competing store. 3 guesses as to how that happens, and the first two don't count.

Since this is a hentai, I say the story didn't standout as it is, although that doesn't stop me from watching this one, cause you can watch something interesting without the need to rely on writing a story, the characters make up for it. The art style is really great and very arousing to look at, it's simple and really calms my heart, I'm pleased. Sounds are great in this one, although I mute volume at times not because it's distracting, but I mute to pay attention to my surroundings if someone is calling me or whatever. The character development was very good. Not great, though. In my opinion, they were REALLY REALLY slutty. I'm fine with slutty, but it was too much for me. Mankitsu Happening is a four-part OVA series by Collaboration Works. It also happens to be the highest rated hentai on MAL, which is a title it certainly doesn't deserve. Don't get me wrong, Mankitsu Happening isn't bad, but it isn't deserving of the "best hentai" title. I went into this series with no expectations, and I found it to be above average at best. So without further ado, let's get started. The plot of Mankitsu Happening is one of it's highlights. Not because it's good or interesting (it's neither of those), but because it helps fill up the episodes, which wouldbe pretty vapid without it.
The plot follows a guy named... fuck, does it even matter? He's a worthless character with no personality anyways. So this guy gets called up by his friend, and since his friend doesn't want him to stay a deadbeat for his whole life, he offers him a job at a manga cafe. However, the guy is reluctant to take his friend up on his offer, because of his "issue". And here we get to the guy's only character trait, which I had a very difficult time understanding. Maybe it was a bad translation, who knows? But I've finally figured it out. His "issue" is that he has some sort of lucky power that causes him to have sex with every woman he meets. Damn, what a stud!
Despite this, the guy takes his friend's offer (on the condition he won't have to deal with many women). He shows up to work and surprise, it's practically pussy city at the manga cafe! And you know what that means...
So, there's a bit of conflict with new characters, and a rival cafe, but it's all pretty simple. The episodes themselves have a very poorly designed formula. Each episode can be broken into roughly three sections. The beginning is reserved for the plot, characters are introduced and this generally gets the story rolling. Then there's the dreadfully dull middle section, where there's no story and the sex scenes are about as interesting as curling. Finally you get to the third section, where your boredom is somewhat alleviated and your treated to some... okay sex scenes.
What about the characters? Well, there's the main guy (his name is Keiichi), he has bullshit lucky powers, which must serve some karmic purpose to make up for the fact he has no eyes. There's Keiichi's pink-haired childhood friend Kururu, who's about as stale as a week-old loaf of bread. The manga cafe's veteran employee Rei-San (aka best girl), who's a sexy kuudere milf. Otona, who's an idol and closteted weeb. And finally Sayaka, the bitchy owner of a rival cafe chain.
The characters had potential, but they just don't do much and (apart from Rei-San) have no personality. In fact, most of the characters don't really do anything of value after they're introduced. Keiichi and Rei-San are really the only exceptions.
So the story's alright and the characters are meh, but how does it look? Pretty good, especially for a hentai. Collaboration Works typically has fairly high quality art/animation, though I've seen better from them before. It looks fine, and there aren't any wonkey designs or faces (unintentional at least). The voice actors did a decent job portraying their characters, though nobody really stood out to me personally.
Overall, Mankitsu Happening is... okay. It not bad, but it just doesn't have a whole lot going for it. Most of the characters don't have much to offer (besides Rei-San of course), and the middle sections of the episodes are just dreadful to sit through. It's always preferable to space dull moments evenly throughout a work, rather than clumping them together. Mankitsu Happening could've been something more, but it just isn't. 6.5/10
That still leaves one question. Why, out of all the hentai out there, is this one the highest rated? I think it all come down to three factors. Mankitsu Happening is fairly popular as far as hentai go, and it's also relatively new. Generally, popular + new = higher score on MAL. It's also vanilla, so there isn't really all that much objectionable content.
In closing, would I reccomend you watch Mankitsu Happening? Yes, but temper your expectations. Mankitsu Happening is a perfectly serviceable hentai, but there're far better ones out there.

It basically is quite well rounded in what it provides & succeeds at doing what it sets out to do, truly a top-tier of it's genre: - You sexy girls fit for several tastes, in both looks but also personality (Suzukawa Rei-san's no.1, her nonchalant attitude creates both comedic situations & quite lewd situations and her scenes are all some of finest I've seen out there). - Varied sex scenes as well as ecchi situations preceding them, the show making sure the audience is thus never bored of the sameold.
- It actually has decent comedy too, the characters react to their situations in a hilarious manner which befits their personalities. It's ridiculous at times but knows how to make that ridiculousness fun. The MC Keiichi's "issue" is basically the plot, and it's as ridiculous as you'd expect in a lot of hentai, or ecchi anime ~ the important thing is for show to make it entertaining, and Mankitshu Happening does just that.
- An actual decent length of 4 eps, thus while sure it'd be nice to see more since you always wanna see more of something good, I still consider this a + vs others as it has an appropriate time to flesh out it's characters, show different scenes, etc.
If you're looking for a great vanilla hentai with an added dose of comedy and decent variety in it's scenes, then give Mankitsu Happening a go.

I feel kinda awkward reviewing hentai but I liked this one too much not to. I'll start off with the story. when it comes to hentai the story isn't that important, and I feel like the studio that produced this hentai had that in mind, I found Mankitsu Happening's plot is simple, yet interesting enough to keep me watching, for a hentai I'd give it a 7. Next, the art is very good for a hentai, it has a modern generic anime style, which would normally be a complaint if it were an anime, but since it's a hentai I'll give it another 7. onto the sound, I found it very good, it did what it was supposed to, without getting annoying or into the ear rape territory, so I'll give the sound an 8. the characters while not very developed in the sense of aspiration, were all very likeable, which is unusual for me no matter if its anime or hentai, so I'll give the characters a 7. finally I thoroughly enjoyed this hentai, especially since there was no rape and had ahegao, so I'll give it a 10. overall I found this hentai very good, so I'd rate it an 8. if you like vanilla, ahegao, and hate rape hentai I'd suggest this one, it's definitely one of my favorites.

In a sea of hentai, Mankitsu Happening barely stands out to me. We have our standard MC look with a face hidden beneath the hair and a couple girls that have their own special characteristics that help add a little more depth into the show. There's not much to say except if you need to fap, this is a safe bet for your material. Story : 6 Mankitsu Happening stars MC-kun who is out of university and jobless due to his 'unfortunate' ability to end up in sexual situations with women, he has been called up by a friend to work at a manga cafe where inthe hentai fashion the only other male character who isn't MC disappears right after. Here we see MC get into all sorts of wacky situations with his co-workers and obviously leads to sex with them. There isn't much semblance of a plot and I would describe the show to be more of a slice of life where new characters are introduced which begins a chain of events for our characters to go through. There are three main story arcs covered over four chapters, not awfully remarkable however they help MC get from point A to point B, where point A is doing his job and point B is partaking in an orgy, which is all we need from a hentai plotline at the end of the day.
Art: 8
The art in this show is remarkable, save for our MC's basic design, every girl pops on screen and it always feels like an ecchi anime that took it too far rather than your run of the mill hentai. All the backgrounds are well made and feels quality while the chibi character design helps convey a shift of tone to comedic in scenes in between sex. There were all sorts of little things in the sex scenes that just enhanced it artistically when put together and this ability to elevate a hentai to the next level deserves extra points in my book.
Sound : 7
I won't dock points off this show for the slightly odd choice of music in sex scenes and the recording quality as well as the sound design met industry standards. As I always say, it didn't take anything away from the show's value which is all you can strive for in sound design.
Character : 6
Most of the girls were quite flat, sticking to one particular trope and rolling with it throughout the show. This behavior isn't inherently bad however when you do not change at all in the show's runtime it shows a weakness in character development as something like an evolved or polished version of the characteristics that defined a character would've been appreciated. There was a lack of character arcs and as such the show left viewers hanging as there was no resolution. However, I will say that with what they had to work the show's producers did a good job in incorporating the limited range of character personalities well into the sex scenes and the way the girls acted was very in line with how they acted out of those scenes which made the scenes stand out head and shoulders above most of the show.
This show is as basic a show as it gets, they talked about our MC's special power but it felt more of just 'unfortunate' luck and I would've appreciated just a slight hint at a supernatural element to rouse me from the mindless fap I was happening in complete disregard for the plot. As you may have noticed, I barely mention MC in this review which can be taken as a positive or a negative as for the viewer who wants to be in the situations the show presents then MC is a great vessel for you however he let me down as a viewer who strives to think critically in hentai. The greatest compliment for this show would be that it is GREAT fap material, the sex scenes are superb as we rarely see shows that try using so many characters in their sex scenes especially when there is only one main character. This show surprised me in the coordination and focus during the sex scenes, using subtle character behavior and relationships that became staples throughout the show. Honestly the most character development "came" from the sex scenes as we began to see certain characters frequently interacting with each other and towards the end of the show the sex scenes became more involved and creative which was a good way to leave the show on a high note and compensate for the lack of true resolution.
Mankitsu Happening lacks in the story department so I would suggest two faps per episode and one episode per session. Certainly not the most outstanding but you'll be thoroughly satisfied if you picked this one up for a fap
