Najica Hiiragi, perfumer and secret agent, is sent out on a number of recovery missions to round up rogue humaritts, androids with combat abilities. Najica is assigned a humaritt partner, Lila, whom Najica is to groom as an agent and receive assistance from along the way. As Najica grows to accept Lila, each new mission they embark on reveals more and more about the capabilities and mysterious origins of the humaritts.

I have decided to dig up an obscure shitty anime from deep within the bowels of Hell itself in order to torment people with knowledge of its existence. Why? I guess because I'm an evil sadist. This is Najica Blitz Tactics!!! Story: 1/10 The story is a generic James Bond wannabe about a female spy that fights bad guys, dodges hail storms of bullets, and uses quirky, advanced gadgets and gizmos. Of course the camera seems unaware that this is a spy series and not a hentai. The camera focuses exclusively on Najica's ass. I'm serious, almost the entire series is shot from the waist down.I have never seen so many panty shots in an anime...ever! The story begins with Najica attacking a castle stronghold guarded by dozens of maids with sub-machine guns. Najica flies in using a Mi-23 Hind, which is a shockingly retro choice for a spy agency so advanced that they can build super powered androids. Spy agency: "gentlemen we must accomplish this mission, we have a seemingly unlimited amount of funding and resources, so that is why we are sending our very best agent with an early 1970s Soviet helicopter that is notoriously susceptible to shoulder launched missiles. Najica dives out of her Hind, which is either an AI or has some kind of telepathic remote pilot, and uses an inflatable device that resembles a giant blueberry to cushion her fall. You know you are in for a great series when this is the opening 5 minutes. Sadly,it only gets stupider from here.
Characters: 1/10
The main characters are special agent Najica and her cute android sidekick Leela. Of course the real main character is Najica's ass and cameltoe, since they receive the goodly majority of the screen time! none of the characters are well developed and could best be described as bland and forgettable. Did I mention Najica is a chemical engineer that develops her own line of perfume on the side? Ya, that's a real plot point in this series. When she has time to do this while being an elite field agent I have no idea.

The soundtrack is actually pretty decent. It has a Jazzy soundtrack that is upbeat and does a decent job building up what little good action there is in this series

Najica was made in the early 2000s and looks like it was made in the 1980s or maybe a very stretched budget long running series from the early 1990s. The art style is actually closest to Detective Conan or "Case Closed" as it was called in the US. If you ever wanted to see a Case Closed hentai with no nudity and LOTS of panty shots, this is your bag.

Najica isn't as well known as some other terrible anime like MD Geist, Angel Cop, Seikon No Qwasar, and Boku No Piko, but that doesn't mean it isn't just as bad. Najica is one of the worst series ever brought over to the states by ADV. Considering ADV's history of highly questionable adaptation choices, that says a lot!

What a rainy weekend in a farm doesn´t make you watch.... First of all, if you ever picked this series because read somewhere that it was yuri in it, they deceive you (me too btw). There is a very, but a veeery light subtext, almost inexistant. Second: this show has panty-shots everywhere, every and meaningless time. If you can´t handle useless fanservice run away from this show. Story: It´s a good story btw. Sadly it has no time to grow deeper between the panty shots overdose. A secret agent has the mission to recover robots (Humaritts) which are putting the world in dangerous, but her partner is ahumaritt herself, ready to help her. It´s a world where clothes are lacking, so all the woman use mini skirts, even to fight and jump. For a few minutes, you´ll believe that the story can be serious and it will talk about how human a robot can be, but it will be just for a few minutes, a panty will cross the screen to remember exactly what you are watching.
Art: Yeah, it has a good animation. And the it uses the most unusual angles so you can see the most number of pantys in the same scene. It infects your mind so badly that in some parts you´ll wait for a panty shot and nothing happens, so you´ll ask why not since it was a very convenient scene, like girls jumping with parachutes.
Sound: The sound was decent, nice musics that plays in the right time.
Character: The main one is fine, but the rest is too plain. There isn´t a bad guy that makes you worry, they have dumb plans and dumb minds and nothing goes anywhere. And it has women everywhere, all organizations, rebel groups and tripulations just contract women, why? Because you can see more skirts (or not see, because they are way too short).
Enjoyment: I give this a six, fair enough since the story has a good potential, but whenever I see a panty that damn word cross my mind and pisses me off.
But if you can handle pantyshots (or even if you liked it) this show will be perfect to kill some time. If you are looking for two girls with guns, one of them very strong with no emotions at all and the other trying to be cool, a much deeper story, yuri subtext and NO panties go watch Noir and you´ll fell fully satisfied.

This was a good show but not good enough that you'll be replaying it much. It's a James Bond knockoff about a female secret agent with a cute robot as her partner. Good animation and lots of action with a very unexpected ending. There's a tremendous amount of fanservice offered up by the main character, who is showing her panties in almost every shot. To be honest, it's just too much fanservice even for a shoujo fanboy like me and after a while you become de-sensitized to it. I'm not sure what the deal is because the show isn't a comedy andis played pretty straight otherwise.
Recommended for those into "secret agent" action and plot twists. Also a dream come true for panty freaks.

First of all. If fan service is a complete and total deal breaker for you then move along citizen. Nothing to see here. But if you can tolerate it, or heaven forbid, even enjoy it from time to time then let's continue. Najica Blitz Tactics is an episodic action series from 2001. It's about secret agent Najica on missions to capture humaritts who are basically androids. On her spare time she drives around in her totally rad Shelby Cobra looking car while getting the yuri stare from her co-workers at her perfumer cover job. Also her partner Lila is a humaritt. Their interactions and relationship isreally the X factor that kept me interested in the show. With Lila's robotic literal mindedness being fertile ground for some pretty funny scenes. I'd say the humor is kind of low key though. And I think tagging it as a comedy is a mistake. It's more of a comedic relief kind of thing. I think the show is very funny when it wants to be though. And I'm sure there's a share of the viewership who'd think the show is at times unintentionally funny. Your mileage may vary I guess. On the way there's the tried and true "learning about human emotions" and "what does it mean to be human" themes sort of sprinkled in. Like a diet Ghost in the Shell of sorts. Or if Philip K. Dick ate alot of pocky and owned a bunch of body pillows. It's not exactly super profound, although it has it's moments of surprising depth. And it elevates what would otherwise be very shlocky into what is in my mind a pretty watchable and entertaining show. Against all odds it won me over by going above and beyond the call of duty for a show of this caliber.
It has an excessive amount of fan service however. Much like Agent Aika which was also made by the same studio. You won't find any female characters wearing pants or shorts that are comfy and easy to wear here. Short skirts is what's on the menu with more panty shots than gunshots. Leaving most casual observers to dismiss the show offhand as ecchi trash like say, Queen's Blade. And it goes without saying that it attracts certain cynical viewers watching shows in bad faith. Perhaps to pad their MyAnimeList, for ironic chuckles or to leave scathing reviews on anime websites. Who can say? But since the show is pretty upfront about it you have only yourself to blame if you get upset about it. Aika was a better looking protagonist than Najica though. Since the 90's perfected the mature office lady look. Just saying.
This was made by a Studio Fantasia ( Another casualty of the travesty of a year that was 2016 when they filed for bankruptcy. RIP. ). A bunch of jobbers with a production credits list mostly reading like a who's who of ignored anime. They presumably made this with a fistful of yen and pocket lint as it's production budget. Reeking of sweatshop animation labor, cup noodles for dinner and Korean outsourcing. Something that's not helped by the fact that it was made in the early 00's. The awkward transition to digital art churning out some of the very worst looking shows in all of anime history. As a result the show looks pretty bad by default. Character designs are pretty uninspired fare mostly just distinguishable by hair color and style. ( Shoutout to Najica rocking what I'd describe as some sort of mullet. ) And when the animators get lazy, or outsourced. Seeing as how there's some suspiciously Korean sounding names in the credits, it's a truly horrific sight to behold. You're in for some occasional QUALITY in other words. But occasionally some animation slave pit overseer cracked the whip to produce closeups with actual shading and semi-decent animation in fights on special occasions. Overall though the show looks terrible. But that's par for the course in that dark age of animation. And those panties are never off-model I guess. You got to give them that. If only it was made a few years before or after though...
Oh. And the jazzy soundtrack is also pretty rad. Not once did I skip the OP or ED. The ED in particular ended up being one of my favorite of all time to be honest. A definite highlight of the series for sure.
In the end I liked it. Check your cynicism at the door and maybe you'll find that it's a pretty decent show. Who cares if people judge you online in your taste of Mongolian motion drawings. They're probably watching worse stuff than you are anyway. And pour out your 40' or Mt. Dew for ADV while you're at it. Rest in peace you guys.

Najica Blitz Tactics is one of those girls with guns titles that is usually compared to Noir, and even in the minds of some people is labeled as a light-hearted wannabe or clone of that series, despite it airing around the same time or maybe even going into production before it. In any case, both titles have their glaring flaws with Noir simply being the better series for one reason. It's actually a far more mature series with a great amount of style to it. While Najica Blitz isn't so much as stylish as it is hilariously silly. The plot follows Najica as she and Lilaconduct various missions to recover more of the Humaritt creatures whom are being used by people for various reasons, usually and almost always as slaves in some way. The Humaritts are loyal until death to whomever is their master, and they aren't capable of independent thought; which this is what Najica's agency originally believed. Along the way, Najica and Lila encounter several Humaritts with wills on their own, and this is when things become a bit complicated and the story becomes quite interesting at times.
Najica Blitz definitely has potential to be at least a good series, as it follows the whole James Bond secret agent bit with various gadgets. Plus the characters really are handled quite well and there's a bit of character development on the part of the main characters. I can't say that I dislike them because Najica eventually breaks her mold and shows feelings towards Lila, and at the same time Lila displays moments of becoming more than what she is. There are ideas introduced which can see Lila making either a positive or negative turn, and this is due to the writers using the previous Humaritts in different ways as the pool source. Despite what some naysayers would have you believe, there is some type of depth to this anime and there is a cute innocence with Lila that does work for her. I will also point out that I did enjoy many of the interactions between Lila and Najica especially in regards to the non-over the top comedy. The series knows how to work its humor without feeling forced.
Unfortunately, Najica Blitz appears to have been written by older men whom forgot to grow up and probably never even so much as held a woman before. Najica Blitz Tactics is embarrassingly overwhelming in delivering its fan service. 90% of the time the camera is focused on the female characters crotch and asses at various angles. On top of this, there's an unbelievable panty fetish roaming around with a vengeance. There are between 25 - 50 panty shots per episode in every situation imaginable: Standing, walking, running, shooting, driving, sitting, dodging, rolling, fighting, eating, and dying. These chicks are biting the dust in the most provocative sexual positions such as missionary, face down ass up, spread eagle, side saddle, all that shit. On top of this, there are even more bullshit reasons to continue bombarding the viewer with this nonsense that is even fit into the story.
Now I love women in just about all shapes, sizes, and skin colors (including green) but when I watch an animated show, the last thing I want is to catch a hard on. These panty shots are extremely distracting and they heavily damage this show's overall quality. I can understand anyone whom chooses to ignore what the series has to offer, and instead chooses to hate the living fuck out of it because this is a really good reason to bash it.
The artwork is decent at best but there aren't many different female character designs. The action segments are full of gun play that could have used a lot more blood, and the hand to hand is decent at best, however there are shortcuts taken at times. Unfortunately, the over abundance of panty shots ruins the action-filled experience as well. This terrible flaw is no exaggeration, that shit really is all up in your face. The BGM and opening theme uses a jazzy, saxophone heavy tune in different variations. It works a majority of the time but it gets old quite fast.
Najica Blitz Tactics is an anime I use to hate a whole lot and even recognized it as one of the worst I ever seen. My view on it has changed since I do believe there is some good to be found here. However, the panty shots and bad camera angles are way too damn much therefore I still dislike it; had this stuff been delivered in small to non existent doses this would have been a better series. In other words, one's enjoyment of this series can only be determined on that person's tolerance for its one main gimmick.

Najica Blitz Tactics is a series produced and animated by Studio Fantasia with Katsuhiko Nishijima at the helm of director. The show is basicly a spy drama following the title character Nagica Hiragi and her partneer Lila who is a humaritt, a type of android. When not coming up with new ideas for perfume, Najica heads out on various missions with Lila which mostly involve retrieving other humaritts for reasons never explained, while throwing bucket loads of fanservice in it's viewers face. Safe to say, Najica is basicly just a fanservice show loaded with up skirt camera angles and panty shots, with the occasional boob shotsand swimsuit action on the side (one episode sees Najica and Lila on a mission clad in their bathing suits). The show is pretty similar to Studio Fantasia's earlier Agent Aika series (also directed by Nishijima), there are panty shots everywhere which can be very distracting leaving little room for plot and character development.
All in all, it's not a bad anime. It's well animated and worth it's share of salt. However, it's not great nor something that everyone can enjoy as you'll be exposed to up skirt shots and panties constantly. If that sort of thing offends you're then you're better off watching something else.

Some ten years ago while browsing the video shelves at Best Buy, this story caught my eye, but I never had a chance to watch it until this past week. It's cheesy spy thriller stuff with lots of bad shooting and B-movie plots and characters, with tons of gratuitous panty shots. Set your expectations accordingly. It's not exactly deep or complicated, and certainly not what I'd call one of the best or a favorite, but it's the kind of guilty pleasure I might watch again. Najica Hiiragi is the main character, ostensibly working for a perfume company while her real job is to go on missionsas a field agent. Her first mission is to rescue a girl, who turns out to be a humaritt, an artificially created humanoid with super-human abilities but limited in their ability to think freely or experience emotions. That humaritt girl, named Lila, gets assigned to be Najica's partner. Their relationship is problematic at first but develops over the course of the series. Most of the remaining episodes include among their objectives retrieving (and sometimes identifying) another humaritt. Toward the end of the series there are further revelations about the nature of humaritts that may have implications for Najica and Lila.
The music reminded me of police shows from the 1970s. Besides the many sometimes comically contrived panty shots, there were a few instances of bare butts and bare breasts (nothing sexual). The violence was frequent but not especially graphic. One thing I found annoying was when the male characters, especially Gento, frequently called Najica 'baby', 'sweetheart', and other similar terms. That aside, there wasn't any profanity that I recall. In summary, if what I've said so far hasn't turned you off you might find this a fun and amusing anime series.
