It's the first day of the new school year. 5th grader Ari and her best friends Suha and Min have started an after school activity called the Problem Solving Club. However, no one seems to have any problems that need to be solved. Disappointed Ari ends up discovering an unconscious hamster on the road. Amazingly...the hamster begins to speak. Overall this anime is basically just a general average, cute, feel-good anime with cute characters. However, there is one major thing that makes me put my rating way down. The three female main characters plus Shuel are all in 5th grade and 12 years old. This would be fine usually, just younger characters. However, Chess and Trump are definitely NOT in 5th grade. Not elementary school, not middle school. They are at least 16 years old, though it's never specified. This also would usually not be a problem but we have one really big issue. The romance. Yep, you heard me right, romance. Two ofthe 12 year old girls have a crush on one of the 16 year olds. In fact, Shuel was engaged to both of them at seperate points in time. The bigger problem is that the 16 year olds both have a crush on a 12 year old. That is not alright.
Somehow, when scrolling Youtube, I came across this, despite the title seeming as clickbaity as it could possibly be. I watched it in english dub, because there were no subs to be found. I would've preferred the original but meh. Story 6/10 (may contain spoilers) Although the episodes went by so quickly (which is rare for me), the story was pretty cliché. The main character, Ari Jin is a normal girl with a decent personality, as she has some friends who unexpectedly gain magic along with her due to encountering a magic hamster later revealing to be a prince from Flowering Kingdom. The girls transform so that theycan collect enough hopeful energy, while our duo (Shuel and Trump(wheeze)) try to stop them. The story sometimes seems more as a slice of life then a magical girl thingy. Art 8/10 The art is actually good, I'd say it's more noticeable than the story itself. Although the anime seems to like making everything as pink as possible. Sound ?/10 The episodes I watched had no OP nor ED, so I can't say anything about them. I'll see if I ever decide to watch them. Character 5/10 There was barely any character development, aside from Shuel, everyone seemed so repetitive over time, not sure why I continued watching it. Enjoyment and Overall 6/10 I guess it was fair. If you want to watch it, do so right now as there's a whole season completed but if you're not Korean you'll have to watch the english dub, where Ari literally screams when she's speaking. (spoilers: I just dislike how they had an opportunity for doing something with the whole "Love Triangle" thing, and wasted it. Then again there's Flowering Heart 2 so we'll see.)
