Sinopse:

During a physical exam, Miia, Centorea, and Mero discover that they have gained too much weight due to Kimihito Kurusu's delicious cooking. To remedy this, Polt offers them first use of her new pool and gym facility before its grand opening. However, it's not all fun and games, as the three girls' competitive spirits start to flare up! Meanwhile, when Rachnera Arachnera receives a letter from her previous host family, she finds out that they would like to meet with her and apologize for the events that caused her transfer. But, as it turns out, not only do they want to apologize, they want her back as well! When the family's daughter, Ren Kunanzuki, shows up at the front door, the gang must convince her to let Rachnera stay at Kimihito's house. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

By now, you should know what to expect from Monster Musume. The ovas do not necessarily give as good of ecchi moments as the full show, but they are funny side stories and still deliver some of the expected ecchi from the series. The story is still the same simple plot from the series with the monster girls living with people due to a new law to see if they can live together on harmony in humans. This part of it isn't mentioned, but the cohabitation is still going on. The first episode focuses on watching the girls exercise at a new inter-speciesgym since 3 of them have gained a little too much weight recently. The second episode focuses on the girl from the family that sold Rachnera coming around to try and convince the other monster girls and Kurusu to allow her family to take her back. Both episodes are just simple funny stories that give the series a reason to show more of its fan service at appropriate times. I may love ecchi altogether, but I do have to admit that Monster Musume doesn't really have any of the out of place type of fan service, and that along with its cast of characters do make an impression. The ecchi moments and some other stuff is not as funny as it is in the series though. 6/10 The art is still really good just like it is in the series. 8/10. The sound is the same too. 7/10. The character also remain unchanged, but the first episode adds Polt into the mix a little, as the owner/ manager or whatever of the inter-species gym. She is quit energetic and over the top with her expressions and is just so fun to watch as she expresses her lively personality. 7/10 I enjoyed these a little less than the series, but I like still like them. Another 7/10. I'd say go ahead and watch these if you like the original show. You'll get some quick good laughs of the experience.

So this might be a short review no idea honestly i did see the first OVA when it came out so i might not remember it that much also ill be splitting the story into 2 the first OVA and the Second OVA Story: OVA 1: i personally don't really remember much of the first OVA but if i remember correctly it was basically a gym and swimming episode pretty much nothing really 2 say about it that is what you get out of also 2 compete for darling-kun's love in a swimming contest. OVA 2: this one does have a kinda good story too it sobasically the person who had Rachnera is coming back 2 take her away and wants her back no matter what this one ill say was easily better than the first one well maybe not the easily better one but yeah it was good for sure but i personally dont wanna spoil anything but that Art: art was the same pretty much nothing wrong with it Sound: easily OP and ED are my fav like probably in all of anime like no kidding otherwise sound was good Character: this might be a laundry list because of me not making a review of when the anime was done. Miia is Lamia and the first person 2 ever meet darling-kun from the series she is pretty much the main until the others come along but she is a pretty bright and cheerful one. papi is a harpy and the second one he meets so is honestly a dopey and usually forgets stuff so there you go. Centorea is a centaur and well she values her self and well her heritage and what not pretty cool but also pretty cool chick. Meroune is a mermaid and is the person who want a tragic love story to happen to her and darling-kun she pretty up and front about it aswell. Polt is actually never in this anime series but shes is apparently a "Main Character" cause of her being in the first OVA honestly but whatever she is a wolf person (dont know on how 2 honestly define her) but nice and cool person (i dont remember the OVA when i first saw it so sorry lol). Suu is a slime girl and is pretty well lewd mostly or starts it she is a kinda person (honestly that's all i can say) Lala is Dullahan and is a kinda cold and pretty out there person she the oddest (to me) of them all. Rachnera is a spider girl (too put it bluntly) and is the maybe more lewder she is pretty brash on (honestly only real thing i can think of her like no kidding) Kimihito Kurusu also known as darling-kun is the main male and the person who runs the house (per say) he is easily the kindest and also the most heart warming guy in the anime and kiss ass aswell. Enjoyment: i easily enjoyed both OVA's but i preferred the second maybe just a litte bit more but i thought the first was just as good otherwise well there ecchi so you will get your tits and ass out of these episodes all the comedy is pretty good aswell easily loved this series hopefully it gets a season 2 down the line. Overall: will give both OVA's a 8 they were both easily good definitely worth the watch nothing else i can say here my enjoyment basically covered it well i guess ill say the ecchi and comedy were good so yeah

There's honestly nothing to dislike about this 2 episode OVA. It has everything you would expect from the TV anime and we also get to see more development of a certain girl. I would also like to mention that there is a new girl who is introduced and if i'm being completely honest, I would want her to join the harem but then that would contrast what this anime is supposed to be about. A harem of monster girls. BUT, having a "human" girl rather than the usual monster type would be quite interesting to see if we ever get to have a Monster Musume2nd season (which is likely). Overall, if you love fanservice or are a fan of the Monster Musume manga/anime then you won't be disappointed.

Warning possible Spoilers Usually OVA's for me are important if they provide more for the story or they provide some extended fanservice for us viewers this is pretty much the latter, but for what it was it is actually still just as fun and hilarious as the main series. The OVA is split into two episode's one concentrates on the girls going to the gym so they can get fit after the results of their latest body exam's while the second episode concentrates on Rachnera and her previous caretaker family as they try to get her back while also providing us with a steamy bra try onsession. Now OVA's would usually give us more fanservice like a beach or spa cliche episode surprisingly this decides to give us something a little different than what we usually see and that is a gym and a bra try on session and I've seen a good amount of harems yet I haven't seen something like this which gives the genre a little bit of fresh air from the usual cliches we see, It was actually interesting seeing the girls using the gym since we don't really know what activities they do to keep themselves healthy although the gym they're at is a prototype so not everything has been designed for every species yet and we get to see their competitive side again well for some of them while most of them just laid about getting a tan. The second episode gave us something a bit more interesting which is Rachnera's previous caretaker family and it provides us a little more backstory on why they sold her to that creepy dude, even though we get to see just the families daughter you could see the difference between the daughter and Kimihito as both see this kind of thing differently and then the bra try on session just felt like good ol fanservice for us male and possible female viewers. There isn't really much character development other than what we usually see except from a few new characters being introduced. The girls just do their usual stuff like getting in trouble or causing trouble for Kimihito however he isn't in the OVA's much as it mainly concentrates on the girls although we do get to see a bit more backstory for Rachnera and why she became detached from humans because of the accident that happened with her previous caretaker family, but you can also see that when that families daughter came over to see Rachnera the girls were trying they best to try and sway her away which does show they do care about Rachnera. The two new characters are Polt a random character that we have seen from time to time in the main series and Rachnera's previous caretaker families daughter. Polt is actually a very positive person and is trying her best to create a gym for demi-humans and ask's the girls to help out to see if it is up to snuff though not everything supports every demi-human type. The artstyle is just as good as the main series though this felt like it was trying to show off certain things like the usual bikini's and bra's you see female characters wear in every Ecchi anime though this felt like it was really going for it with the different styles especially during the bra try on session. The fanservice was just as powerful as it was in the main series, hell it opened with bare breasts then again so did the main series so it shouldn't surprise me although when you're staring at a dark screen and suddenly see a breast come out of nowhere I'm going to be surprised, at least the girls looked great in the various bikini's and bra's they tried on. The comedy was just as good as the main series as the girls continue to fight for Kimihito's attention especially during the first OVA where Miia, Meroune and Centorea had a swimming competition to see who was fastest and would end up being able to do one thing with Kimihito I will admit the outcome was surprising and then the bra try on session did have the girls arguing about who looked better in what which turned into a massacre when Miia got really pissed off and started tying everyone up in leg stockings. Overall this was a pretty good OVA that gave us a bit more of our favourite monster girls doing what they do best, hopefully there'll be a season 2 because Kimihito isn't going to be able to avoid the whole marriage situation forever.
