I don't know how many people have watched and enjoyed the series, but I suspect they haven't seen the manga. This is a bad adaptation. First of all, the art is too bland, and boring. I know they wanted to develop the story of hachisaku-sama, but what I saw in eps 2 and 3 was nothing new, just annoying sex scenes. And you know what, they miss out on the remaining 6 stories in the manga, which to me are also very stimulating. Sound, music? Too disappointed. What to expect from the anime version compared to the manga other than the sound? But the dubbingdoesn't even match. I will simply remember what happens in the manga, instead of these tedious frames. The completely unique art in the manga was brought to the screen in a boring way. I recommend reading the manga instead of trying to watch all these forgettable episodes.

I never imagined horror eroticism could ever be a thing. Then again, there have been far stranger fetishes. Story: In the first episode of this hentai, a young man enters a taxi passing by due to a storm. To pass the time, the passenger tells the driver a story of a young boy that encountered the ghost known as Hachishakusama (a.k.a. the 8 foot tall women, the Japanese Slender Man). It is said that whoever encounters this women will meet a terrible end, but that is only half true. The boy that encounters this ghost is then "influenced" by her to begin sexual acts throughout thenight. In the morning, the boy is taken out of the village to escape the ghost.
In the second episode, the driver of the taxi then tells the passenger a story of a woman that had a dream of a train. The conductor was a demon that invited her on, so she rode in the last car, seeing two other women in front. As the train continued, she heard the two women each being tortured and in pain, but couldn't move until it was finally her turn. Just before she could experience her pain, she had woken in a cold sweat. Afterwards, the passenger tells the rest of his story from episode one.

After he finally finishes the story, he breaks down to reveal he was the boy in the story and the driver was Hachishakusama and his fate remains unknown.
The story presents a very nice atmosphere from start to finish with the right sense of tension and horror, especially adding the "dark and stormy night" cliche from camp fire stories. Especially when adding a second story to the element that added more tension and chills, it really caught me off guard. Being a fan of horror, I can say the story was done rather well being adapted into a hentai, but that doesn't mean it was all that different from other horror stories, especially 1. this being a story somewhat compared to the Slender Man creepypasta and 2. the twist at the end being a bit predicable. In conclusion, despite it not standing out all that much and a predictable end, the story still had me quite interested based on the atmosphere alone. 3.2/5
Music: having little to no music doesn't make a story bad, but rather, it is when to add it at the right moment that really counts. But this show slightly missed the mark. In episode one, the music building up from the ride to the ghostly encounter was good, but then was replaced by sweet melancholy afterwards. The same is said for episode two also, when the music added so much tension from the train ride dream to melancholy again. It's understandable to try and give the main characters that false sense of security or safety so as to make a good jump scare or bait-and-switch, especially how it was done when Hachishakusama's face was shown compared to the boy's perspective, then the villager's perspective, but it kinda missed the mark during the actual sex scenes themselves. 2.7/5
Animation: the dark shades of tension to the bright colors of how the story began was quite nice for the environment, especially the design of Hachishakusama as both beautiful one moment and frightening the next. However, the rest seemed to be slightly bland afterwards, adding little motion in some shots and just repeats of the same motion. In fact, this is made clear in episode two when the sex scene was practically identical to episode one with just a few parts removed and a different background, and during the train story, there were mainly still shots rather than actual movement. While the story did start off with some rather good animation and designs, it sadly got a bit procrastinated and only added still shots and copy paste movements from other scenes, only trying to rush a second episode out. 1.8/5
True to genre: being the story of Hachisakusama involves the kidnapping of children by an 8 foot tall woman, it definitely played the shotacon and milf tag accurately. The horror aspect was just as well done since it added the right kind of tension and chill atmosphere during most parts of the story from Hachisakusama first being seen to her reaching out with her hands to her face reveal by the villager's perspective. Reverse rape somewhat seems in there, but it seems more like statutory rape than forceful rape. It may have played more into the horror aspect of things should it have taken a bit more on the forceful side, but it seems more like an older woman sleeping with a child all in all. 3.75/5
Eroticism: Watching this the first time definitely gave some erotic desires, especially being a fan of milf and tall women (not giantess, different tag), and the horror didn't change it all that much. The only thing that disinterested me was the second episode, where it appeared that goro had come into play and the animation was just repeated from episode one. After rewatching it, I don't feel the same desire and this show had only interested to watch purely for the plot. 2/5
Concluding my review: this show had a creepy atmosphere to adapt the story of Hachisakusama and, for those viewing it the first time, gave quite an erotic feeling for horror. However, after time, the feeling begins to dissipate, especially when watching the second episode. All in all, this hentai is just like a camp fire story: chilling when first hearing it, but soon loses its touch over time.

I absolutely enjoyed this hentai. Weirdly, I purely watch hentai for plot and pretty characters actually. But I do rate the hot stuff too. So, you will see this hentai through my eyes. Firstly, I absolutely think that writers did awesome part with horror and hot stuff. You get a confused feelings with the big gal, do you wanna let her love you or flee like a small mice? Well I think that having her dominate and then eat you (in both ways) is worth it. Choosing of topics is also top tier. Giant mommy milf with huge bonkers that wants to dominate you is adream come true. Regardless, having a shota as a MC is kinda weird, but I ain`t here to judge that.
Story was kinda generic and simple like all hentai stories, but this one had a nice touch of an actual Japanese legend. It got me real interested. I think that this was a pretty good adaptation.
Art was also pretty solid. Art style was awesome, both main characters looked very good. The MC had real pretty eyes and he didn`t look like those eyeless MCs in every hentai. The Lady Dimitrescu like mommy was also fantastic. She got my heart real good. Not to meantion the horror part, they did awesome job with creepy stuff without ruining the hentai. Tho, the animation on the other hand could`ve been a bit better. It felt like you`re watching poorly animated gifs. At least it had a nice variety of shots.
Sound was very nice, my gal is moaning real hot and voice acting in general was solid.
I will be quick on characters since I said enough in the art section, H-sama is tall, mommy like woman that will fulfil all your desires... well while you`re still alive. The MC is a basic boy with a huge wood for some reason, but whatever. He isn`t the star of this anime so I ain`t gonna waste my time on him.
Enjoyment in overall was real good. I do really recommend this hentai to you, unknown reader. If I didn`t watch hentai for plot and characters and let myself free from my pureness I would probably be satisfied too from the actual purpose of these animations (if you know what I mean).

Do you remember that time you were growing up in the Japanese countryside as a child and then you were suddenly molested by an 8-foot tall ghost that was thicker than a bowl of oatmeal? Me neither, but that's the plot of Hachishaku Hachiwa Keraku Meguri. A young man stuck at the side of the road in the pouring rain as his motorbike has broken down and can't get reception on his phone. He is now trying to hitchhike his way to the nearest town. Thankfully a taxi picks him up and the female drive is more than happy to take him where he wantsto go without charge. As the driver takes him to his destination, he decides to tell her a scary story about his childhood about the one time he met a dark spirit as he was collecting bugs.
As you can tell from that plot description that Hachishaku Hachiwa Keraku Meguri is a horror themed hentai, and It's actually half-way decently creepy. The animation and art style is actually pretty decent, and the soundtrack is appropriately spooky, for a hentai at least, and it actually spends time setting up an atmosphere, and all of this is done in two 15 minute episodes. The fact that it's creepier than most the regular anime that I've seen and it does it in about the time of a single episode, it says something about just how bad a lot of horror anime is that a hentai can do just a good of a job. At least I can pull out my cock and have the cum spooked out of me with a hentai.
The start of the second episode is straight up a horror short story with no sex and some mild gore. I don't know what I was expecting when I went into this hentai but I wasn't expecting something that I could actually pull out during the month of October for both a scare and to quickly rub one out. Well, both activate the same part of the brain so I guess it makes sense to mix both.

Beyond that it didn't really do anything for me personally. While I have no problem with the size difference, I'm not into shotacon or that weird lounge animation that some anime do. I know someone will get a kick out of this. That's if they can get passed the night terrors that this might induce in some people. But I guess since people got something out of Lady Dimitrescu, someone out there is definitely getting something out of a Ghost MommyTM.
There is also a bonus 15 minute episode that forgoes the plot and is just a sex scene, which is good for those who just want the sex and don't want to have to either skip through the plot just to jerk off or have to find a streaming site just to find a video that's already cut out the plot for you. Also, it's the most normal sex scene out of the entire hentai.

In my opinion, three episodes for all the stories represented in the manga are very few and, in fact, not all are shown, but only the first (in the first episode), the fifth (in the second episode) and the last (always in the second episode); I don't understand this choice. However, the characters and the shots in the different scenes are very faithful to the manga. The animations of the second episode felt a bit static to me. Another curious thing is the choice of the title of the last episode, "Episode 2 Bonus", a continuation of the first story, which I did not mind because it ismy favorite; for me, they could also use it to tell another story or two.
In conclusion, it is a very particular hentai horror, which alternates "mixed" stories with purely horror stories. The designs are done very well.
