It is a well-known fact that the voicework of legendary seiyuu, "Emperor" Norio Wakamoto, is capable of causing orgasms. If you weren't aware of this, I don't know what corner of the online anime world you've been hiding in for the past several years. But don't worry; you haven't been hiding alone. Most hentai producers have been sitting right there next to you, not noticing the goldmine that is Emperor Wakamoto. Until Taimanin Asagi. Suddenly, someone at PIXY had a fantastic idea: cast Wakamoto as an all-powerful sex demon in a hentai, and just let his voice do the rest. This is agreat concept; frankly, I was sold on Taimanin Asagi simply by that fact alone. However, it seems someone at PIXY didn't get the memo. Instead of running with the idea that Wakamoto's voice would accomplish the (viewer's) goal for most pornographic material, this idiot decided they needed some sort of INTERESTING STORY, excessively EDGY PRESENTATION, and, of course, TENTACLE RAPE. Then this person got it into their head that these elements would carry the show, and that they wouldn't need The Voice of the Heavens UNTIL THE VERY LAST EPISODE.
And this is why Taimanin Asagi isn't the greatest hentai ever made. It's also why I can't simply write "ALL HAIL EMPEROR WAKAMOTO'S HENTAI!" as my review. Well, that and both my dignity and my pride, which dictate that I bore you with two or three pages of analysis when all you really care about is the little number at the top right that tells you whether or not I share your taste in erotica.
Taimanin Asagi is a tentacle rape hentai that focuses on retired demon-hunter/ninja Asagi. A past nemesis, Oboro, returns from the grave and enslaves Asagi, forcing her to take part in some sort of colosseum of rape. For this event, she modifies Asagi's body to take orgasmic levels of pleasure from any sort of tactile sensation. Add in Asagi's younger sister, Sakura, who is also a ninja, then rape them both to hell and back, then also rape Oboro, and finally throw in the Vicious voice of Wakamoto, and VOILA! Taimanin Asagi!
Needless to say, if you're not a fan of rape or tentacles, this is probably going to be abhorrent, and I will say now that if you don't like these things, it is NOT worth sitting through them to get to the tootsie roll center of the tootsie pop (I'm obviously talking about yellow-ball/ninja-master Norio Wakamoto). This is some of the most hardcore rape I've ever seen; it borders on torture. I lack the technical terminology to describe what goes on without painting a picture for those who'd rather avoid the mental image, but let's just say that...uh...you can quite easily see what happens when you insert large moving objects into smaller...uh...female anatomy.
Anyways, the story. It's sort of okay, actually, at least insofar as there IS a story. It doesn't always manage to make sense, though, and the storytelling is quite disjointed. Exactly how the girls were confined or forced into what they did is a bit unclear, forcing me to attribute it to Hentai Female Lead Incompetence Syndrome (HFLIS, for short, but you can just pronounce it SI-FI-LIS, since it's close enough, really). So, yeah, apparently the females all have HFLIS, encouraging demon after demon to rape them. I really don't get it. I guess it's Oboro's revenge, but she works for Bison, known in this anime pretty much only as Black-sama, who facilitates the whole thing for reasons that are completely unknown. Apparently he finds it amusing. Hey, an all-powerful demon has to do SOMETHING in his spare time, and I suppose he has already beaten the 255th level of Pac-Man. Logically speaking, the only things left to do after that are watching girls get raped and conquering the world, and, well, he's just not ready to get around to the latter.
Obviously, I don't have anything interesting to say about the story. It has some tonal problems as a rape and revenge plot, though, namely it rides that line between emotional breakdown for the victims and them actually enjoying it. It wasn't really clear what was going on in the end, since they didn't ACT like they particularly wanted to escape their situation. Granted, stories like this one often have that problem; balancing the two is awkward, and leaning to one side or the other is either crass or a disturbing turn-off. Other than that, I guess the one-and-a-half action sequences in the show were all right, though I guess that more appropriately falls into the realm of animation.
Because I fail at transitions today, I am going to talk about the characters (not the animation: that would have been a GOOD transition). Taimanin Asagi has precisely one good character; you may know him as Senbei, genie of misfortune. By that, I obviously mean Edwin Black, voiced by Norio Wakamoto. He is simply above everything, aloof yet still apparently evil. Not that his character is well-written; it is merely well-voiced. But good GOD, what a voice!
Asagi is strong-willed, I guess, but that does her little good as she is broken by her demonic captors. Rather, she's like on the verge of breaking the whole time, and it is really unclear what her mental state is. This isn't intentional ambiguity; it's poor writing. I find there to be nothing noteworthy about Sakura, and Oboro is basically just a typical evil demon bitch. So yeah, aside from Edwin von Blackenthal, there's nothing here that you haven't seen before.
What Taimanin Asagi has that you HAVEN'T seen before is in its visual presentation. Animators have long sought to replicate the feel of traditional filming techniques to enhance the realism of their works. This led to such things as digital lens flares, artificial changes in focus, and floating the camera to replicate the steadiness problems of hand-held cameras. Taimanin Asagi takes these techniques to their logical extreme. The camera position and focus are both constantly shifting, making it seem like Taimanin Asagi was somehow filmed by a complete and total novice. This is distracting, but it does add to the overall energy of the production, dizzying though it might be.
The animation itself is...interesting. I wouldn't say it is especially fluid, nor is it devoid of still-shots and looping, but the sex animations are on meth. I mean that it's like they animated standard hentai sex scenes, AND THEN DOUBLED THE FRAME-RATE WITHOUT DOUBLING THE FRAME-COUNT. This, too, is dizzying. At that rate, it becomes hard to follow what is going on. Pair this with overly-zoomed-in camera-work and generally lack-luster camera angles (talk about visual clutter and sight obstructions), and you get a show where you could swear that a ton of stuff is happening but be unable to tell (even vaguely) what that 'stuff' is. Regarding the character designs, it's fairly standard stuff, but the eye-designs are...soulless (they look almost like mind-controlled eyes). I don't know if this is an intentional effect or a random art choice, but it's not my thing. On the plus-side, though, the art quality is pretty decent, and the lighting is better than I've come to expect from this style of show.
Back to the sex, though. Although I said it before, first things are first: this OVA is entirely rape (well, save for the scene where Oboro is throwing herself on Black's whole horse, if you know what I mean). Not only that, but it's pretty brutal rape, and it's often gangbanging, whether by human or demon. Taimanin Asagi prominently features ABSURD AMOUNTS of thick, bubbly semen (sometimes with complementary pubic hairs, free of charge!), and the...uh...heroines often...uh...swish it around in their mouths and/or gag on it and/or puke it out in a manner that confuses me a bit (it, like, jumps out of their throats of its own accord; that's right: sentient, mobile semen). This design choice is hit-or-miss, to say the least. It does nothing for me (okay, it does SOMETHING: namely grossing me out). However, it appeals to some people. So does a particular facial expression, one that I believe is called "ahegao," and the females of Taimanin Asagi wear this expression a truly staggering amount of the time. (The ahegao is a face of sexual ecstasy, eyes rolled up and tongue lolling.) Just like this show's bubblegum manseed, the ahegao is hit-or-miss. I do not find it to be erotic. In summary, the big three things about the sex (brutal rape, super-semen, and mindless-ecstasy faces) don't appeal to me. Obviously, I didn't enjoy the sex scenes much.
Aside from the stupid-fast animation speed and what I believe to be poor cinematography, the sex was not...bad...it just didn't appeal to me. There was plenty of oral and vaginal sex, plus some boobjobs and handjobs, as well as tentacle rape of every orifice. The actual positions involved, though not portrayed very clearly, are quite diverse, some of which were made possible only be the amazing power of tentacles to lift and twist. There was also some S&M/Bondage, obviously of the non-consensual variety. After all, since when has hentai shown that actual S&M/Bondage is an agreement between all individuals involved? Anyways, that's about it for the sex, except for Sakura's breasts, which are HUGE. Sorry, let me try that again: THEY'RE. FUCKING. HUGE. They probably have moons in orbit around them due to their colossal mass. Other than her, the average breast size was still pretty large, which is totally normal for hentai. There are no petite builds.
Annnnnnnnywho, sound. The score for Taimanin Asagi ranged from unobtrusively minimalist to pulse-pounding techno. It was actually rather good, although I thought the music towards the beginning and towards the end was better than in the middle. In general, the series used synths of the ominous or overbearing variety (often synth-strings), with the occasional oriental-style woodwind. Sometimes there were electric guitars, probably because electric guitars are HARDCORE.
When it comes to the voice acting, Chiyo-chan's dadcat was obviously fantastic, so it's more enlightening to talk about the voice acting OTHER than that of Wakamoto. It was generally competent, although Sakura's voice was HIGH (oh so very high), which is typical yet annoying. However, a noteworthy thing occurs during the sex scenes. Remember the whole thing about ahegao? Well, a funny thing happens when you try to talk with your tongue lolling out of your mouth: you slur all your speech. (This also often happens when hentai ladies attempt to discuss the details of the oral pleasuring of a male WHILE DOING SO.) Also, remember when I said that Taimanin Asagi has a staggering amount of ahegao? Well, this assessment can be heard to apply even when you can't see the characters' faces. Yes, the girls will slur EVERYTHING they say. Your mileage will vary on whether or not this pseudo-cutesy slurring is erotic or not. For some reason, I actually do. Just sayin'. It does still gross me out a bit, but...yeah. Still, though, not as orgasmic as Woodchuck as he chucks wood, if you know what I mean; Wakamoto is still the best part of all of the audio of Taimanin Asagi.
Really, I'm out of ideas here. It's late at night, my brain is fried, and I did not NEARLY get as much hailing of Britannia from this as I had hoped when I learned that the Emperor is the OVA's Big Bad. In summary, Taimanin Asagi is really a hit-or-miss show. A lot of its non-Wakamoto appeal is going to rely on whether or not it is personal fetish material and whether you happen to think that the visual presentation is avant-garde in a GOOD way. My own answers to those are "no" and "no," so Taimanin Asagi did not turn out to be my kind of thing.
ALL HAIL THE EMPEROR'S HENTAI!!! But really, you might want to watch Urotsukidoji instead for your animated sex with a side of Wakamoto. I hear that one's classic, and it ALSO has tentacles. Win-win, right? ...Right?

Taimanin Asagi is a Hentai that mainly contains the Genres of Tentacle, GangBang Rape and torture. Also be warned that there are scences in which the girls pee or/and barf, especially in the later episodes. besides this i enjoyed the rapes and public massive gangbang of asagi alot which leads to the 6, even if i got disgusted by some pee scenes and of very big boobies o_Ò Besides the great character design there were kind of bad animations, a few things were repeating and it was too much zoomed in my opinion, some more camera angles from above. also the camera style wasn't too goodfor my eyes: it often blurred and the camera moved pretty fast, much too fast in some situations that i lost orientation T_T Even if i don't get turned on from tentacle stuff and don't watch it much, the animation wasn't really good, sometimes it reminded me of simple gif animations, right to left, left to right *eeek* :o

Art: There is nothing glaringly wrong with the art. The character designs are fairly decent for the most part. The main problem is inconsistent drawings, as in a character with a bulging belly from one angle would suddenly have a flat belly from another angle. This is quite annoying. Also the tentacles are extremely thick, causing the rape victims to scream "I'm going to break", yet the vagina is never depicted as torn. Also, from that amount of rape, there should be a considerable amount of internal trauma, yet this is not drawn either. So overall, there is a lot of room for improvement. Animation:The animation has several problems. The first is that scenes are often glossed over too quickly, as in gone in literally a blink of an eye. For example the scene where Oboro seemed to be sitting on Asagi's sister. That had like 2 frames dedicated to it. And it's not fully drawn, so it's unclear as to what is really happening. Actually the camera angles are a big problem with this anime, because they're nearly always shot from close ups where you can only see part of the body and not really make out what is really happening. There are also a lot of and reused animation which is really boring.
Choreography: This is the major problem really. As mentioned earlier the tentacle rape should have caused considerable internal trauma yet this is never depicted. The characters seem to recover all energy instantly after being raped. The fight scenes were terrible, as in they didn't animate any movement except for sword entering chest. You couldn't tell what happened at all. Also it's weird how Oboro was depicted to have paralysis powers or telekinesis or whatever but in the end fight she fought like she had no demon powers at all. It didn't make sense. If Oboro really wanted to kill Asagi she could have done it easily. I could also mention the demon with the huge penis which should have torn Asagi's body apart but it somehow magically shrunk upon entering Asagi and didn't tear her apart. That made no sense. Also the billion scenes where Asagi chewed on semen repeatedly was also weird and out of place, it seemed to be there for no apparent reason and was really annoying.
Conclusion: A badly directed piece of annoying nonsense.

In this review I will be looking at what is arguably their largest property: Taimanin Asagi. Asagi and Igawa are sisters who hunt demons hell bent on destruction and death in a world where demons and humans actually coexist. Though Asagi is now retired so she can live a happy life with her boyfriend Kyousuke. Not set onallowing this to happen an old arch-enemy Oboro is set on vengeance for her previous losses and pain at the hands of Asagi and manages to capture her. This is where the fun begins. Oboro begins to torture her, treat her as a plaything, give her to demons and other monstrosities to humiliate her and make sure she regrets ever crossing her path whilst there are goings on in the background setting up something larger at hand.
This is not a ‘vanilla’ series, oh no. This is very hardcore in terms of content. It caters to a lot of fetishes such as and contains a lot of rape, humiliation, degradation, body modification, tentacle play and more in the 4 episodes. It is not for the faint hearted. I enjoy all of the above (all fetishes to be fair) so found this series to be thrilling, incredibly arousing and all around perfect in terms of content. If any of the above sound disgusting, awful or downright despicable then you should steer well clear of this.
One of my favourite scenes in the series is when Oboro offers them a chance to potentially leave but they have to satisfy a wealthy and influential yet disgusting old man. What it involves and the attention to detail is noteworthy as you can see the old mans pubic hair curled and sticking to Asagi’s mouth after her initial attempt to satisfy him. It also slowly sees signs of change in both characters into their broken state.
Asagi is likeable for a main character, she has earnest wishes and just wants to settle down. Doesn't stop you enjoying what happens to her though. Her sister Igawa is younger and more naive and you do feel slightly more for her after what happens. Again though that doesn't last long.
Oboro is a wonderful antagonist for our heroes. She is an absolute sadist who lets loose all her dark desires on her pursuit for revenge, when you think she might have had enough she just keeps on humiliating Asagi and Igawa more and more.
Design wise they follow Kagami Hirotakas wonderful designs from the game. Asagi is slender and has large breasts, Igawa is a bit more plump whilst Oboro is the more mature looking one. Being an adult series catering to a certain audience there isn’t going to be too much variety in the way the girls bodies are but there body modification to the breasts on one girl to a ridiculous size if that is your thing.
The director for this series is Teruaki Murakami and he extremely notable in the hentai animation industry, by fans and producers alike. What he brings is a certain style which can be extremely hit or miss for most people. Heck, even myself when I first watched Kangoku Senkan some years ago I was caught a bit off guard and wasn’t keen on it. Now though I have grown to appreciate the method.
What I’m talking about is the animation itself. As most will know anime is done on a budget, usually a limited one and adult series tend to get even less. As such creative means are required to make it look better. The use here is in the motion. When Asagi or Igawa is performing a sexual act, be it orally, anally or otherwise it switches between slow and ludicrously fast motion and incorporates extreme close ups of the girls bodies and faces. It also contains a lot of blurry imagery fading in and out whilst the camera never stays still. It works so well and does make it seem higher budgeted than most.
I've seen a lot of mixed reactions to it and I can see why. It takes some getting used to and could potentially cause motion sickness on some with weaker stomachs. It's weird to be talking about this in an anime but it's true and most likely will be a big reason whether you come away from this liking
or disliking it.
A quick mention to the bonus short that comes with the DVD box (no Blu Ray available) where Asagi is blindfolded, helped by Igawa attend to a customer, the camera stays with the view looking down on Asagi and it’s a treat for all fans.
To sum up Taimanin Asagi is a fantastic series and a good length for a hentai release. It tells a story, has likeable characters, scenes that are bound to entice and arouse as well as leaving open to a sequel (which there is). If you want something in this category to start you off the this is ideal and even if you’ve seen many of these before you’ll still find something enjoyable. Lilith are masters of the adult industry as far as I’m concerned and this is just a drop in the ocean of their content but an amazing drop nonetheless.

In the city of Tokyo, humans and demons exist side-by-side, and have sworn to not harm each other. Asagi Igawa was one of those ninjas, but she has put that in the past in favor of being with her boyfriend. The plot is a decent set up for a hentai, the characters have some pretty good designs, so what exactly is wrong with this hentai to get such a low score from me? This might be the only hentai that I've seen that can actually induce seizures and migraines.
For some bizarre reason, most of the hentai has an obnoxious fake camera effect over it that is continually zooming in and out, and it's especially bad during the sex scenes. And to make it more obnoxious, it randomly goes in an out of focus, like a real camera. It's like the bad cinematography of every shitty found footage horror movie cranked up to and way passed 11, often making the whole thing incredibly nauseating to watch.
And to make matters even worse, at random parts throughout the hentai, the background is just replaced with flashing red strobing lights. I never thought that I would have to give out a seizure warning for a hentai. It feels like I'm going to have a stroke.
I would say that the sex scenes are actually decently animated and the art style is actually good, but you're going to have a hard time looking at them when you're rolling around on the floor, trying to not swallow your own tongue. I could barely look at the thing and had to have it be a small window on my desktop.
Having an effect that looks like a real handheld camera is not even a bad stylistic choice, if the scene that features the effect so happens to be recorded on a camera. But the effect just lasts the whole episode and makes me motion sick just looking at it.
The story is also pretty basic and rushed over, and it's pretty obvious that this whole anime was made to promote the visual novel that it's based on. But I'm also pretty sure that you're not supposed to be giving your intended audience a headache or have them choking on their own seizure induced vomit.
There was also a short 3 and half minute bonus episode. It's not much, but it's probably the least obnoxious sex scene out of the whole lot. The camera effects have been heavily reduced and there are no flashing lights.
Would I recommend "Taimanin Asagi"? Certainly not this entry in the franchise. Thankfully, later entries in the franchise removed the abysmal camera effects and bright flashing lights. But for this particular entry, I'd recommend skipping it.

For artists and animators who want to take elements to study and incorporate into their own content it is worth the case study in my book particularlyOboro's scenes.

Black is cool. 9.5/10 Sound: They always played the best music. Sometimes they played calm music in the hardcore scenes. 7.5/10 Enjoyment: The hardcore scenes was my enjoyment. and the sound effects. 9/10Art: I didn't even care if some people said that this anime looks like shit. But, this animation is so cool!! I don't really like the seizure red and white blinking scenes. 10/10
Merukami Teruaki puts enough effort into his hentai with the "skaky-camera" and the animation scenes. I'll give this hentai a 9/10 not just because of the plot, but because Merukami Teruaki put "heart" into this.

"The demon city: Tokyo." Story: After quitting her work as a Taimanin (Demon Hunter Ninja), Asagi finds out years later that her presumed dead archrival, Oboro, is still somehow still alive. She wears once again her ninja outfit and proceed to try and find more about it, but end up getting tricked and captured along with her boyfriend Kyousuke, and later her sister Sakura, who tried to follow on hes sister's steps and also become a Taimanin to help her. They'll be taken to the Chaos Arena and abused by countless demons, days after day, so Oboro can finally have her revenge (...?). Art: Art is phenomenal,the girls and their tight outfits look very sexy and badass. The whole thing looked very original back when it came out and still to this day no other hentai look quite like it (Kangoku Senkan maybe, but it's from the same studio and also part of the Taimanin universe). Animation is great, sometimes too fast and chaotic, but that only added to the charm and originality. There is one problem though, the elephant in the room, the "camera effect". I have no idea what they were trying to accomplish here but they made the whole thing to look like it was filmed with a camera so that it's always swinging, zooming in/out and blurring the screen every 3-5 seconds. It was so bad that the first time I tried to watch I had a mild headache and kept putting it off. After rewatching like 3 times, I feel like I've gotten used to it (?), but it still IS a stupid director's choice and completely unnecessary.
Sound: The girl's voices are just too good, the moans are just right, sound effects and great and the dark soundtrack fits just right. The opening gives me chills every time and the ending is one badass metal song.
Character: Every character is unique and relatable. We can see Asagi struggling to keep it together for the sake of her sister, Sakura making it seem like she's giving in and I found it very cute seeing the unbreakable sadist Oboro being totally submissive to Edwin Black.
Enjoyment: I'm gonna be honest here now and say that I hated it the first time I watched. The "camera effect" was obnoxious, everything was too dark and edgy, animation was too sped up and I found the whole gangbang and tentancle stuff to be too disgusting (then again I was probably like, 11-12 years old). But somehow, I kept going back to it. It was one of those hentai that would always appear everywhere, and I would still try to watch it again. Lo and behold, I ended up getting used to it and nowadays... I like it. I like it a lot.
Overall: One of the most unique hentai out there. Definitely a must-watch for every hentai enthusiast if they don't mind rape and tentacles, but if they do... In 2021...? Let's be honest, they're not really trying, are they?

My favorite Hentai, the hentai where ninja girls against demons and bad guys working together, definitely top 👌 notch, just like the story goes a ninja named Asagi with her sister are trying to put an end to all the demons and the evil organization that ruined the world and the girls if you know what I mean. You know let's just get to the point it's for people who are into hardcore it's hentai after all so I really enjoyed it, the characters design is so good and definitely a big turn on, this first season is just the beginning for another season, thisseason has a very suprsing ending and I'm not gonna spoil it. Super amazing H anime nothing more to say.

Honestly I really wish that in all of their projects they actually included the girls getting pregnant with Orcs or whatever monster fucks them All Hentai where the girls are fucked by orcs or monsters, should include the girls getting pregnant and bred by the monsters. We should have seen Igawa Asagi, Igawa Sakura, Yatsu Murasaki, Ingrid, and Annerose Vajra all pregnant with and give birth to orc babies! INCLUDE BREEDING AND PREGNANCY IN THESE ANIME!! Besides that it was very goodI enjoyed it
