A quiet, polite, lonely immortal esper about which little is known, he is called "Locke the Superman", but often denies being so. It is not known where or when he was born, and if asked, Locke will say he does not remember. It is entirely possible this is true. However, when asked by Cornelia Prim in "Millennium of the Witch" which star he was from, Locke replied "Toa." He has appeared at various times throughout the history of the galaxy, either as a direct influence, an indirect influence, or a simple observer. Using his esper abilities, Locke can learn and do most things more quickly than a normal human. His power also allows him to remain eternally young, or even turn himself into a child again to be adopted by kind-hearted families. It is speculated he remains youthful as an excuse not to take responsibility for whatever cause he is approached for, since no one expects youths to have such responsibilities. (Source: Wikipedia)

well, this is my late Birthday review about this film, THEY SHOULD make and 40 part serie´s of this se 1 & 2, and its one hell of a space trip here with rivers of blood on end and lots os flashy fights, And its my 2nd anime movie i´ve seen from ´84 overall!the thing i was mostly amazed about is the very early 3-d scene's at some points, and the '84 3-d spaceship snapshot really shows that japan back then was very ahead of its time, ok it looks damn cheap, i don't care, it was innovative for their concern! Animation looks rightfor its time so as the background scene's and the ship designs, handdrawn. Its and very supernatural orientated story, as well for the chara. only a very few ppl here have no powers, unlike Locke and the other espers, for the music i was DAMN happy it was'nt remastered. It was for me a lot more violent than excpected so its a keeper for sure and thats why i looking more to the older audience! my two cents!
