Sinopse:
Ryou Fujihashi wakes up to her apartment burning. Trapped within a deadly blaze with no means of escape, Ryou frantically makes as much noise as possible to alert her neighbors. Fortunately, someone has called the fire department, and they are speedily able to rescue her.

Yes, I started watching this fully understanding that this is basically a hentai. I am very particular about the hentai I watch, it has to: -seem realistic -involve the female being pleasured (because equality and I am a woman) -be consensual Although some parts of this "anime" are iffy with how realistic it would be. However, after watching it a second time, I realize that everything was with love and pleasure in mind. Not rapey, gang-bangy, or anything else like that. I also like that the characters stayed faithful. Usually, the guy goes around having sex with a bunch of girls. Not so much here. The art is nice,there are some scenes where the artist paid close attention to detail for the animation. The character's voices aren't annoying. The characters are all generally attractive (again, comparing to regular hentai, the guys are usually creepy and rapey).
There isn't much story, but it's fluid and I could follow it. It's not like "hey we're in my house WHOA jk we're at the beach. Why? Who knows"
I enjoyed it. Please don't take that to mean I did dirty things, I just appreciated the "anime" for what it is: a hentai.

What is this? Basically porn with a little romance and pretty characters. NO rapey or cringey shit. Quite realistic and believable too. If you are a woman, and want to see how hentai/media geared towards women could look like, try it!!! BUT! hear me out: Adult content that is geared toward women (be it in manga, anime or even games) is EXTREMELY rare. At least the content i am looking for. ( Not yaoi) In my judgement i have some standards similar to the Bechdel test although wayyyyy less strict and not as thorough considering we are dealing with a rather sexist culture producing our contenthere.
The standards are:
- no rape/Violence whatsoever
- consent (especially from the woman)
- pleasure/love/romance must be evident
- resemblance of plot and believable healthy/non abusive adult characters ( the woman has to have more character than a common fly)
its not much, right? So why then is it SO hard to find content like this?
But first lets be real. It is hentai /porn. So what do you expect story wise? Shakespeare? The dialogue and story really is what is to be expected in porn, creating a fleeting illusion of plot but enough to still be believable. At least i got the impression while watching although according to porn standards its was really not that bad, and i had a lot of fun watching the hilarity of porn dialogue rattling off every cliché possible.

Animation is decent and sound ok too i would say. Also, this was the first work where the woman had more orgasms than the man, which in itself is also quite rara in this type of genre.
its really amusing to watch, its nice and short, the characters look good, we got some buff dudes, girls with normal bodies, no incest - whats to complain about?
Now to the REAL ISSUE:
the scarcity of good content that an anime like this sets the standard. I almost couldn't believe it! Finally there is ONE work where the woman actually enjoys sex, the dude is actually hot and attractive and the sex is consensual!--- Obligatory "no! dont!" (although countered by her thoughts that she enjoys it) lines added in for cultural approval - it seems that no matter how sexualized women are in japanese media, the front of a proper, pure,chaste, demure classic woman must never, ever be broken.
So? Why so much rant?
Because this is a rarity and it shouldn't be one. its rare to find adult het manga that have believable, realistic sexual content without the male lead being a total asshole or possessive shit/ complete psycho. (What the hell is attractive about that anyway?!?! Ever heard of healthy relationships???)
I wish for more adult manga/media for women, with attractive and buff men. Not yaoi. Het couples. With healthy relationships and great sexual content.
With real women as main characters. Strong women who wont be molested, who enjoy having sex, who are honest and not demure, just really good characters! Jeez, it can' be that hard!
Also i just don't enjoy yaoi - not for lack of trying.
So far i have only encountered said desired content in some fandoms, so only fanmade works.
Prove me wrong, tell/show me please if there are other manga/anime that match this content !

This was kind of dumb in a good way and enjoyable, the story is not that great it moves too fast and has very little depth, the art was good the characters were what you wish everyday people would look like, duh is a fantasy of ideal sexy people, the guy was so hot and girl kind of cute but very hot too. The sex scenes very "normal" and vanilla everyday fantasies nothing too out there. The level of consent in her pair was portray of cutesy so it would not bother too much, the ending was cute not too much to say there.In short if you like easy, vanilla fun as a girl, you will like it.

I quite enjoyed this anime, since I don't actually watch a lot of hentai or ecchi for that matter. This was honestly such a good one for me to get started, but I didn't like that it was so short. Like if it was at least 8-10 minutes long that would have been great because then we could have gotten more story out of it. Even though I did rate the story 6/10, I do think in the short amount of time they had, they managed to put into such a good story in such a short time, so props to that! Otherwise I enjoyed it, quitesweet but also steamy at the same time, should definitely give it a try :)

'It was okay'. It is the best way for me to describe my thoughts on this anime. Yubisaki kara Honki no Netsujou: Osananajimi wa Shouboushi is the average hentai anime that you watch for the steamy scenes although the decent storyline is a plus. The characters are very two-dimensional which isn't surprising considering it's a hentai anime. What puzzles me the most is the fact that Souma invades Ryo's space from the get-go and doesn't care about consent but the moment Ryo and Souma start to have feelings for each other consent is important. That was the only part of the anime that left mepuzzled. Despite Souma being portrayed as a 'playboy' he was faithful to Ryo which surprised me.
Overall I liked watching this anime. I started watching this anime for the sake of the steamy scenes but slowly became interested in the story. The only part that bothers me is the lack of consent in the first few episodes which I assume is quite common in hentai anime as I am still exploring the genre.

I personally watch hentai a lot, though rarely i find ones in which the guys are hot. This one although it's not always anatomically correct, I have found myself enjoying more than others just because the guys are hot. Story wise it's short. I would have definitely enjoyed some more. Honestly I think that there should be more hentai like this, because there is not only male audience. Straight female audience tend to watch the guys in porn/hentai more than the women and I truly think that if the industry would consider making more hot guys instead of old fat farts, it would bloom much more.I am also in a country where I can't just go to the store and buy them because they don't have them. So my only option is online.

One thing that I will have to say about this is that all of the characters in this show are very well drawn and very attractive. I feel like you can really tell that the creators wanted to make sure that their character art was one top. That being said, I think their main focus was on the art of the show than the actual story and development of the characters. When watching this, I felt like there was a promising startL Ryou's apartment catches on fire and Souma(who is a fire-fighter) saves her. Ryou, having nowhere to go, is invited to live with Souma until she finds another place of her own. At first, Ryou is very adamant about Souma "invading her space," but that's quickly not a thing that she fights for. Like I said, I felt like it had a promising start, but it quickly spirals into what the story really is -- smut.
Overall, I get it a 5. It's just...meh (shrug). It's target is for people who want to watch that good ole' smut, but the story is not that well fleshed out. Characters are very attractive, but if you want a good story with a little sexiness, this isn't it. Go somewhere else.

I bought Fire in His Fingertips -My Childhood Friend is a Fireman blu-ray in the United States by Ascendant Animation, an American recording studio and distributor. When i put in the blu-ray disc in my external blu-ray player in my computer, the bluray player software pops up to ask if you want to watch the on air or uncut. I clicked on the "uncut version" correctly while clicking on the english audio without subtitles. . But when the sex scenes start playing, that's when the worst part of this release was found. The company never openly stated or informed fans that this so called uncutversion is actually the same japanese home video version that includes "censoring" of sexual genitals. I was instantly appalled and shocked because i did not expect to see a sex scene with censorship that came from Japan. but i had no choice but to keep watching the anime all the way through in two bluray discs.
The english dub does not fit well with the censored scenes because it's too distracting and it does not excite or arouse me at all. I feel like Ascendant Animation lied in their advertising of what to expect with this release. They never want to tell anyone about the censored sex scenes before release because they are afraid of the overwhelming backlash and the notorious reputation from fans and weebs in America. They deserve the backlash and hate because that is not what fans want to see. It's like the team that made Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't want anyone to play the game or review it before release because the actual product was inferior than advertised. Same thing with this bluray release.
Anyway, sex scenes aside, the anime itself was average at best. The story is familiar with the erotic romance cliche found in other adult anime. The fanservice just did not hit right throughout the anime. It makes the male characters look more like yaoi gay lovers than straight men. The english dub on its own was however not too bad. Each actor manages to say what was translated or improvised to make this version listenable. Nothing is really special honestly. The animation itself is good in terms of the quality and budget. But that's about it.
I'm just not only underwhelmed from this anime, im shocked, appalled, angry and defeated because i was expecting it to be actually uncensored and it's not. Japan is responsible for enforcing this censorship in this anime. But it does allow anime to be exported to America with uncensored masters that are seperately saved. But because Ascendant Animation does not give a shit, they chose this anime and all others they are dubbing right now that includes the censors. Do not buy Fire in His Fingertips -My Childhood Friend is a Fireman Blu-ray by Ascendant Animation in the US. The uncut version of the anime is actually not uncut it’s the same censored Japanese home video release. Even in English dub the sex is blurred. It may be a hentai, but an awful censored hentai.

One sentence to describe this anime/hentai: horny for the sake of being horny. Is that a bad thing? No, not necessarily. Especially when you go into this anime with zero expectations like I did. Listen, this 'ecchi' anime is pretty much a hentai and you know it (watch the first episode and you'll get what I mean). But then again, it's also more plot-heavy than a hentai. The truth is I'm not the biggest hentai-watcher but even then I'm so so grateful for ecchi anime targeted at women. Like??? Was about time??? Story - 4 It's okay, decent, so-so, nothing special. It's essentially about an office ladyin her mid-twenties falling in love with her hot firefighter childhood friend. When I first read the synopsis of this anime, I was honestly expecting the 'fire-fighter boyfriend' to become the centre of the plot. But nope, I was wrong. Rather than actually using the profession to its advantage, the writer doesn't dwell on that aspect to build up the main lead's character at all. Sure there are scenes at his workplace that gets the spotlight, but nothing that actually justifies why this firefighter profession was necessary in the first place.
The story is all over the place and extremely rushed but it's still pretty coherent. Unlike many hentai anime, you won't see any major skips in the plot to get straight to the... y'know the good bits. It lays out the basics of the context, enough to actually make you understand the reason why they're doing what they're doing. Well... kind of. It really has more to do with the characters and I will explore that in a bit.
Art - 6
For such a short anime series, the art is pretty good. The main characters are eye-candy material and since this anime is targeted more at women, the animators definitely did a good job at making the guys look hot. It's no KyoAni Free! half-naked boys typa good, but it's pretty damn great at giving the 18+ scenes a bit of spice. Our main character Souma, and his firefighter colleagues are hot. Period. But at the same time, you can definitely see how the animators paid extra attention to making the main male lead hotter than the rest.
One comment though; their proportions are wack at times??? Like Souma looks phenomenal during the bed scenes (with his shirt off), and yet he looks like a Lego block with his clothes on... something about the way they drew his body proportions seriously irked me but not enough to affect my enjoyment too much.

Irremarkable. That's all I'm gonna say.
The anime doesn't have an opening - considering it's only 3-4 mins per episode. The ending song is a wreck as well. It's so forgettable I don't even remember a single tune from it.
The OSTs were also forgettable. None that really struck my attention at all. They tried but not hard enough, I guess.
Character - 5
One thing I get so frustrated about with hentais are the fact that the characters feel like an empty shell - as if they were created just to y'know, get at it. And that's fair, it is a hentai after all. No one is going to watch a hentai to get the feels or to experience a good story. Still, it's a bonus when characters are not just there for the sake of getting you off. Ryo and Souma are horny pieces of sh*ts but you can actually feel that they look at each other beyond just bodies.
There are attempts to build up their feelings (albeit poor but I mean it's there), and the author actually throws in typical shoujo anime tropes like jealousy, cliches, and whatnot to make viewers feel something.
But here's where it gets kind of iffy. The characters have some major issues; Ryo, our main female lead acts like an outspoken yet timid lady - she wants to set clear boundaries between her and Souma only to break her own rules and run after him while repeated saying "S-Stop it." Not gonna lie, it gets really confusing because as a reader, you're unsure of her true feelings. Does she want him or does she not? Is she giving consent or is she not?
Souma on the other hand is a very, very flawed character. He seems to be genuinely concerned with Ryo, saving her from a fire frantically and inviting her to take refuge at his place without hesitation. BUT, the show is really struggling to convince me that he likes her beyond just her body. He goes through such a stark change in character when she slightly shows interest, almost as if he's a completely different person. He becomes almost sadistic (minus the violence) and I personally think it would be much more exciting if his character was more devoted and gentler on Ryo.
Enjoyment - 7
This doesn't come as a surprise but despite all its very evident flaws, I enjoyed the show. It's the biggest guilty pleasure and it does a great job at catering to its female audience. I don't think I've really come across an ecchi/hentai anime meant for the female demographics so this was a breath of fresh air.
If you enjoy looking at hot men and a main female lead actually being pleasured right, you'll love this one. It's a no-brainer show for days where you just need a good trashy, degenerate show to fulfil your fantasies. Plus, you don't even have to commit to it fully since each episode is 4 minutes long.
Overall - 5
It's a decent show and a fantastic hentai for women. That's really all there is to it. It's satisfying without raising red flags and it's surprisingly very light to watch (and read). I - not to sound cliche - actually prefer the manga over the anime as the artwork is so well drawn and the plot is a lot more polished in the manga. But the anime is not a poor adaptation at all.
Giving it a solid 5 is the best score for this anime in my opinion, no more and no lesser than that.
