Shoujo Sect is a Hentai, Yuri, Romance, Drama with plenty of girl-on-girl action and a story to back. If you’re under 18 and Yuri isn’t you thing; then look elsewhere. It is set in an all-girls private school, with the story being about the questionable relationships between girls. Watching this short OVA is basically like watching a collection of short-stories, as each relationship offers a different story from the last. However this anime tends to spend little time developing each relationship (more time on sex) and the transitions between relationships isn’t as smooth as it should be. Although it is predominantly the 1st episode that’s affectedby these issues, as the remaining 2 episodes have more of a focus on the main relationship. It’s a shame this OVA series couldn’t have been any longer, because then it wouldn’t have felt so rushed. This being a Yuri anime, there is one thing to expect from the characters and that is ‘lesbians’. With an all-girl cast, it is quite interesting seeing what kind of roles they play in the story but there only seem to be two that really matter (Shinobu Honda & Momoko Naitou), whilst the rest that were introduced in the beginning can be entirely forgotten. The quality of the animation isn’t anything special but it did a great job adapting the manga; from the cute character designs to the sensual sex scenes. Though there are some inconsistencies that can be noticed, by a keen eye. The quality of the sound is somewhat difficult to judge because there isn’t much of a notable BGM or SFX used. Although during the sex scenes expect to hear a contrast of moans and classical piano compositions. Overall Shoujo Sect certainly offers the fans of this kind of anime what they wanted, an all-girls school featuring some very intimate relationships. It’s a shame that due to its short length, a lot of story had to be left out but that doesn’t excuse the studio for changing the story around, which makes it lose the same feel as the manga. At least it came to a satisfying conclusion, even though I felt some of the sex scenes were too short.
When a hentai meets a plot, beautiful events occur...and whats more beautiful than f/f? Hentais have been accused of being many things. Well-written is never amongst them. However this presentation is like a loose cannon cop...it just breaks all the rules. Like that line? Thanks, so did I. Shoujo Sect is by far the best written, fully fleshed out plot hentai animu I have ever seen, and yes, thats almost by default. The character development and story told over the course of a little over 60 minutes was well done by not only hentai standards, but by short 3-episode OVA standards overall. We began the first episodelearning about an unrequited love between the two female leads. This is brought about and dangled before us the entire series in the form of a flashback from their childhood in which only one of them (lets call her the 'lover' and the other the 'lovee') remembers. They reunite years later in school so begins their journey towards rediscovering one another. To impede said journey are two loyal mistresses, a deviant teacher, and one crooked ho. Yeah, and a partridge in a pear tree, lets not forget that. All of them contribute, in their own way, to the new developing emotions within the two female leads that ultimately determine their relationship. So thats the synopsis. Longest you ever read for a hentai, right? Just when things are starting to look real good though, the artwork of this piece will tie you to the ground. To be fair, its by no means bad...the word I'm looking for is inconsistent. One moment a pair of breasts are flat/A-cups and then the next they're huge! Same goes for the rest of the body. The eyes, the hair, the expressions and backgrounds all were inconsistent. It messed with me a bit because some of the settings were drawn well and created the perfect atmosphere for the scene while others were dull and took away from it. Where the artwork failed on setting, the music made up for with power left to spare. Classical music is often regarded as beautiful so why not have it as your main set list in a tale between to women? The choice of "Flight of the Bumblebee" playing during the series' one and only rape-ish scene was very fitting given the style of music. Well thought out and well played. Overall, this is a series worth checking out, regardless of your initial attraction to it. For hentai lovers there are a couple intense scenes of f/f. For romantics, myself included, there is a brief yet powerful teacher/student relation, incestuous sisters, and the climax scene at the very end. For anime fanatics, this is a package deal and, clocking in at a little over an hour, well worth the time to explore. Ah, and just as a final note, there is a scene in the third episode where, if you're like me, you're begging for a punch to fly. It flies. High Five.
This being the first hentai I've ever watched I though it be appropriate to actually review it. A theme present in this title is "you never forget your first" and I find it kind of fitting that this was actually my first. Despite being a hentai title, Shoujo Sect has a special place in my heart for being both heart-meltingly adorable as well as fappable. The premise was also eerily similar of a time in elementary school where I fought off some bullies who were picking on my best friend. We didn't bathe together or have gay sex afterwards but in retrospect I probably should'vetried my luck then since if you don't ask, the answer will always be "no". Shoujo Sect takes place in all-girls school which means that, without boys to satisfy their sexual desires, their attentions turn to each other, and as a result girl-on-girl experimentation runs rampant. This is great news and is a sign that we'll be getting a lot of yuri action in the next few episodes. The real selling point of Shoujo Sect is the story, which is kind of strange when you look at a hentai series since you might be thinking "well who cares about a story, I came here for a fap" and you might be right. But a series that makes for a good fap doesn't necessarily mean it'll be memorable for years to come. There's a reason that I've remembered Shoujo Sect above all the other titles I've come across over the years, and yes, maybe it's because a lot of the others have long/confusing Japanese names that are hard to recall, but for the sake of simplicity we'll say it was the story. While the story isn't a masterpiece, for what it accomplished in 3 episodes it's at least as much of a contender for an Oscar as Leonardo DiCaprio. Shinobu Handa is outwardly proud, but deep down timid and innocent girl who gets hurt and taken advantage of despite her outward appearances. Momoko Naitou on the other hand is aloof but collected, being good at solving the problems of others but neglecting her own. Now you may tell from the character list that these two are your main characters, so they're bound to end up together. However, that is merely our tumultuous journey's destination. To get there we must first brave many sexy scenarios with the supporting cast, including but not limited to: Kirin, Maya, and even the teacher, Kyouko-sensei. The art and animations of Shoujo Sect are weak in comparison to the story and characters, it's not the best but at the end of the day, nothing to cry home about. The actual sex is very conservative so vanilla lovers rejoice. Tie all this together with on-point voice acting and a real baller classical soundtrack and you have a show. Honestly watching Shoujo Sect was like admiring a piece of art, art that you could rub your parts to, so basically "The Birth of Venus" but catered more towards a weeb crowd. At the end of the day, there are a few lessons to be learned here. First off you could probably get away with asking your best friend for gay sex, but only after you save them from bullies. Next, you never forget your first. And Finally, if you followed a recommendation here I'll assume you're okay with two girls going at it, otherwise if you're okay with the above, then give Shoujo Sect a try, it's pretty far removed from hentai that's being churned out right now but you might find something you're looking for in here.
This anime is probably the best yuri anime out there with actual decent plot, art and romance. It will sometimes leave you in confused because it tries to rush out things which should be done in slower pace but all in all,it is a good series Story :5 The story is rushed, for most of the series i was wondering,"why?" and only find the answers after marathoning the manga Art :7 the art is good and cute enough for a low budget anime,it is cute and gives off moe-feelings Sound :6 Each sfx fit each moments perfectly and classical musics as soundtracks is just awesomeCharacter :8 Each characters are awesome and unique as heaven Feedbacks are appreciated! :)
You know you're in for a dramatic and heavily story driven animation when its soundtrack is mostly populated by Beethoven's masterpieces such as Piano Sonata no. 14 (popularly known as 'Moonlight Sonata') and 7th symphony, 2nd movement. In the case of Shoujo sect, we are dealing with a hentai work. Now how bizarre is that? You'd expect to find music of this calibre in the likes of 5cm/s or Elfen Lied or anything else that relies on a dramatic plot to carry it through, rather than sex or ecchi scenes. But if this is what you think then you're about to be surprised. Shoujo Sectis just that. A romantic story with some Yuri action thrown in between its moments of intellectual and artistic brilliance. That brings me to the story. For its entirety, it focuses on two female characters - Momoko Naitou and Shinobu Handa. As it goes, the two met in their childhood and made a "promise" to each other, sharing a brief kiss before they parted ways. Many years later, Momoko has forgotten all about it. However Shinobu still lives in the memory of that day, eagerly waiting for her love interest to return her call. And let's be honest here, most hentai works are lacking when it comes to romance, let alone drama portrayal. The writer of this little series however manages to come up with an engaging plot, even for non-hentai standards. People cheat, lie and get horny all the time, however they always keep their hearts reserved for that one special person. It's part of human nature and this is exactly what this series is trying to convey through the struggles of the two main characters. Sex and love are two entirely different things. Now with that said, the cast of course includes a wider range of characters. Most of which will be relevant to the story ( which is good news - less shallow characters), like Hayato Kyouko, who inadvertently helps Shinobu be more aggressive and assertive with her feelings. In the mean time we also see Shinobu help other girls by helping them resolve their love conundrums in interesting and... unconventional ways. Sometimes it seems, all you have to do to cheer up a person is to have sex with them. Moving on, the art was really nice. The makers of Shoujo Sect focused not only on the girls themselves but also on the setting around them and as such the viewer is given a very enjoyable experience as everything feels more genuine. Now we get to my favourite part of the review. I'm a glutton for classical music. Beethoven, Mozart, Smetana, Prokofiev - their music fuels my veins. You can imagine then my surprise when this hentai started subtly playing classical pieces in the background. Better yet, it perfectly fitted in to the plot or the activity at the time. The sound department of this work deserves a full 10. It might be biased due to my love of classical compositions but I can't help it. Classical music makes me go berzerk with adrenaline and joy. Enjoyment. One big YES. Good, emotionally engaging plot, backed by nice visuals and an absolutely outstanding soundtrack. On a hentai scale this deserves a 9 and is undoubtedly one of the best hentai series I've ever watched. Not to be missed by Hentai connoisseurs.
I've never seen a hentai with a plot this good before. ..and it actually follows it instead of going off in some random direction. But this show raps up so many amazing things into one big ball of awesome. There's yuri, incest, unrequited love, terminal illnesses, blackmail, AND all with Beethoven during the actual intimate scenes. Who could ask for more?
Shoujo Sect tries to be yuri/romance with hentai elements (or vice versa). Unfortunately it fails to meet the requirements of both genres. There isn’t a consistent plot, drama or good character development, so it can’t be called a romance anime. The erotic scenes are short and lack quality, so it is not even a proper hentai. Plot: 3/10 The plot in any 99% of all hentai anime is stupid and awful. However, in most hentai the plot is usually simple. Shoujo Sect tries to make an exception. Its plot is probably about the love between two girls, which go to the same school and are childhoodfriends. Yes, I said “probably”, because the plot is very confusing. The supposed lead characters get the same screen time, as all the secondary characters, and the story ends up with narration from one of the third rate characters. Characters: 3/10 The characters make the story confusing. There are just too many of them. Usually some random (and sometimes nameless!) girl appears, has sex with some other girl for one or two minutes and disappears never to be heard again. That happened to the sisters from the first episode and many others. This might be common and acceptable in hentai. Unfortunately, it hurts the story. Because of all these unimportant and nameless characters, the two main leads don’t get enough screen time and character development. Anyways, Momoko has a very bland and indecisive personality. She randomly accepts and rejects love proposals. Handa is rather unpleasant. She sleeps with the whole school, shows her panties to her classmates and occasionally rapes them. After seeing all that, we are supposed to believe she actually loves somebody. Yeah, right. Animation: 4/10 The animation is below average. The eyes, the hair and the anatomy of the girls are awful. That makes the sex scenes rather unpleasant. I also have to mention how the breasts of the same character constantly change form and shape. This is simply disturbing. Sound: 6/10 The music has classical sound, which is awesome, but sometimes simply doesn’t fit. Using the Moonlight sonata for porn scene is an atrocity. Nonetheless, the music is the best part in Shoujo Sect. Enjoyment: 4/10 After some unrelated events and some random ugly-looking sex, the story ends with everybody in love. I love happy endings, but I didn’t enjoy this one. Overall: 4/10 Yuri, incest, exhibitionism and sexual extortion can create dramatic and intense plot for romance story or good hentai, but not in here. The poor character development, the bad animation and unpleasant sex scenes also ruin the experience. And they have no excuse with time constraints. 3 episodes of around 27 minutes make a full-sized movie, which is enough for creating better plot and characters. Anyways, give it a try. Some people seem to like it better than I do.
My first hentai and my first yuri. Good memories, really, too bad that the story is not the best. As much as I can adore some characters like Shinobu, anyway I have to admit that it's quite disappointing as anime. He takes a 6 only because in general it is not bad, but to be honest it is worse than the manga. I read the manga long after seeing the anime and was shocked by the number of hentai scenes and their presentation compared to the anime. Some scenes are nice, I can't deny it, but in general it's not exactly a good anime. The romanticelement is what attracted me to the series, in all honesty, and I always liked the happy ending. If you are looking for a mediocre yuri hentai anime this is for you, it is not a masterpiece and does not have a great story. Three episodes easy, easy to consume.
This is my first time writing a review, and it isn't going to be extremely long or amazing, but it is my take on this. I was hesitant at first to watch after seeing it listed as hentai, but reading a review for it saying it exceeded just the hentai tag caused me to give it a chance. I'm damn glad I did that. Though, obviously, there are quite a number of sex scenes, this was a very enjoyable OVA to watch. I'm going to break down my review in sections, as so many reviewers do. Story: 8: Eight because there is no real driving force in thestory. No real goal. That may make it seem bad, but it really isn't. The whole thing is basically just watching the life of various girls, and it really works for this OVA. It was executed to where it didn't seem boring and random. Art: 9: The art was beautiful. The characters also all looked different, which I really appreciated. Most of the time, characters seem to all look the same, and in this, that was not the case. That's really all I have to say here. Character: 10: Character was by far my favorite thing about this. The story, though it had its two main characters, did not just focus on those two. The supporting cast were given their time to grow, and I really, really loved that. Though you didn't get much back history for anyone, you did get a good feel for each character simply by their actions and how they interacted with one another. These characters were all unique, and very realistic. Not everyone got a happy ending, which is so common, and I really appreciated the realism in that fact. Enjoyment: 10: I loved every bit of this. It had real love in it, which I really didn't expect from a yuri hentai OVA. I was pleasantly surprised by this fact that the characters had real, strong and unchanging emotions. I really do recommenced this for any yuri lover who appreciates seeing more to the relationship between women than the physical aspect. Shoujo Sect really showcased the beauty of a relationship between two women, and was highly enjoyable. Well, that's my review. Not a masterpiece review, but eh. I'm not great with words when it comes to things like this.
Watching this, all I can compare it to is A Midsummer Nights Dream, but filled with delicious lesbians. That said, it's actually very good, a rarity in hentai. In fact, this is possibly the best hentai you'll ever watch even with your pants on. Story; 9. Like I said before, Midsummer Night's Dream with so, so many lesbians. However, it's well written, enjoyable, and fun; fapfap or not. This was quite a nice surprise. Art; 8. It's good, personally I love lesbians. I really love lesbians. And the main ones here look pretty damn good, clothing and all. The color pallete is nothing special but it's nice. All in all, pretty good. Sound; 7. Slurrrrrp. Not accurate. Sounds like they're eating old pudding through a 20 foot straw, and by eating I mean sucking with their ass. Not cool. The voices and BGM were acceptable though, but I had to dock this three points for that freaking sluuuuuuuurp. Do not want. Character; 8. I liked them all. Not much else to say here; They were realistic enough to be fun, especially given the small number of episodes they are working with. Enjoyment/Overall; 8. As hentai this is pretty epic, as anime it's good, and overall if you like lesbians as much as me (which I doubt is possible) then this is the third best yuri anime out there (Yuri Panic and Simoun were better). Good watch.
Damn i needed to beat my meat at 2 am while working on my minecraft pixel art project so i googled midget furry hentai but this showed up so like whatever that's why i gave it a 9, but i like the story and character development that this series has.I really wish that they were underage so that the police would sentance me to the death penalty and I would be greeted by the sweet release of death. To be honest though, I liked ben 10 more. I'm a mod on a minecraft server so I should be treated with supreme respect and my opinionshould be counted as if it were given by steve himself. Death to herobrine!!11
When I began to think that there is no decent Yuri hentai (usually the main character is male or its Futanari) on this planet I came across Shoujo Sect. The storyline is heart touching and the ending is heartwarming. This hentai shows true love, not some random dude having sex with anything that breathes. If I have to recommend hentai to anyone, Shoujo Sect will forever be my first choice. The plot is well written given the limited number of episodes .The background music perfectly blends with the environment. No character has an annoying personality. Personally, I would put this in my anime collection rather thanhentai as it is basically an anime where they just were not afraid to hide the naughty scenes.
Rated a 10! seen via english subtitles censored Love knows no bounds. Yet, you must know that for it to count. That i am afraid is the problem for a couple. While one of the two looks into others craving another the other remains clueless. Adrift to her own compulsions. Unaware of her surroundings. That is why fighting for love is a must! Don't get me wrong not all battles are ripped with bloodshed and anger.Others exist in the mist. Like battles without weapons of war are found. Sure, Not like most battles they don't end smoothly. Yet, without those battles progress wouldn't have been made. Alas, enough ofmy wordy words to penetrate with you some of the emotion this mustered inside of me. You must see this!
Shoujo Sect was one of my first experiences with H-Anime; probably the second or third. Having this be one of my first H-anime experiences was both a blessing and a curse; a blessing in the sense that I found something very good early on without having to wade through shit swamp to find it, and bad because it warps one's expectations going forward. I watched it not long after it came out, and I haven't really seen anything quite like it since. What makes this show unique is first the fact that it's proper yuri, not cop-out yuri where the show gets a yuri tagjust because two girls happen to share a kiss in a primarily heterosexual show - it's hard to find the former. Secondly, this show really goes out of its way to set a scene. When it comes to H-anime, story is nothing more than a tool to provide more meaning to the sex, and that is done very well here, because you are brought into this all-girls school where it's not just about one girl, two girls or even three; it's about an entire school of girls where there is a strong culture of homosexual love, and that is shown time and time again as we are given a window into the sex lives of various students in the school. Having said that however, there are two major characters that have a story playing out between them while we're being shown the girls school environment, which makes it even better, and you don't realise the two characters are connected until later on. Each sex scene is emotive and exciting, as opposed to just going through the motions like you so often see in other shows. The art is decent for the time and the animation is solid. I'm not really a fan of how the pubic hair is drawn (looking almost like stubble), but I have seen worse; the way the breasts are drawn generally makes up for it. This H-anime is an absolute must-watch for anyone who enjoys a story-focused, vanilla experience with relatable characters, and is definitely up there with the best.
