Many people have fond memories of meeting a certain teenage boy in their younger years. However, their ages vary widely, and each remembers him as a teen. This story follows the intricate intertwining of their various stories and how this young man, who apparently lives outside of time, has affected each of them.

Okay, let me remember correctly why I gave this anime a 1. It was along time ago when I first purchased this anime in a box set from your local Anime store for about $26? Got home thinking, oh wow, new anime to watch! Can't wait! I watched it, finished it, and thought. What the hell is going on? What the fuck WAS GOING ON? I was fucking scammed 26 bucks. These next sections explains why and what the fuck was this shit. Story (1/10) First episode started okay, typical starting of a school life anime, turned into something totally fucked up. It feels like the characters inthis anime just popped out of your monitor and ass raped you 5 times before you even get to say what the fuck? Well, back to the story. If there is one.. Apparently I think it's about some 'guy' that just travels into the past or future or some shit, and leaves his 'memories' with people he met in his time line, and mostly each episode dwells on the characters trying to remember him through their memories. If I am wrong about this? Well congratulations, here's a medal for you. ~(@) Art (4/10) The art WAS decent, and by decent it was okay. Well, for a 2004 anime I guess it was okay. Sound (3/10) The advertisement break music was okay, but the Opening Song and Ending Song was really crap. Search it up on youtube if you are bored enough. It sounds like they just chucked a bunch of kids in a room forced them to sing a song. Character (1/10) There was NO CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT what so ever. Each episode skips from a new character to another which you have no idea who the fuck he/she is and just makes you want run up to the them and take a dump on their face. Enjoyment (1/10) Oh man, I enjoyed this anime so much I almost threw my monitor in the bin and then proceed to turn on Sesame Street. As you can see I wasted about 13 episodes of my life. Overall (1/10) Overall? HAHA! If you guys are really planning on watching this anime, suit yourself. Getting ass raped is none of my problem. It's not like I care. I'm just here to give my opinion on what a shitty piece of anime like this was even worth my $26. Then again, I did gain something out of it. I gained $12 from selling this anime to one of my friends that thought this anime was good. LOL! I feel sorry for him now. Thanks for reading, and laters.
This anime was painful to watch, the ONLY reason I finished it ... was to finish it. The music was repeated sooo many times on each episode, generic/overused sound effects, inconsistent art style and poor animation. As I was watching this, I didnt remember what year it came out and was thinking it was a mid 90s show considering the rough look but to my surprise it was 04! I got irritated at the constant "stare off into the distance for dramatic feel" and flashback scenes that repeated the same scene over and over again. The story was nowhere to befound and plot holes everywhere. You can literally watch the first and last two episodes and not miss anything at all. Avoid this at all costs unless you want to waste your time. Im thinking of writing to the producers and demand they give 4 hours of my life back...
First of all, every negative comment about this hidden gem is quite undeserved, IMHO. This is an anime to remember, not forget, as Lunar-Anime mistranslated. You should pay a lot of attention to those little -albeit very important- details about the story, because there's definitely a story and you have to use both logic and imagination to figure it out as you watch each episode. Having said that, I truly recommend this anime to everyone that is willing to appreciate a good suspense and mysterious drama with romance and comedy. The director for this series is Yousei Morino, the alter-ego to Shigenori Kagayama, in what I'd callhis 'good' side, because unlike all the ecchi-nonsensical series he's made, Kakyuusei 2 stands, with Pia Carrot 2DX and -to a lesser extent- ONE ~Kagayatsu kisetsu he~ (he could only do so much with just 4 episodes), as his best works, all of those he not only directs but screenplays. The animation ARMS threw together is tolerable, the character designs are quite appealing but beware of the QUALITY because is in almost every episode (this was a low-budget show made in 2004). Nonetheless, the story grows on you as does the music (Repetitive? Yes, but it does the job of keeping the suspense/mystery going throughout the whole series). Overall, it kinda grew more on me than I thought it would, so I fully recommend it.
This is a mysterious anime and I find it difficult to place a watch it or do not watch it stamp. It is one of those sleepy stories that do not have much of a beginning or an ending. This is kind of an anti-climax anime. The artist leaves a lot of it open for interpretation and what is unique about this one, is that there are several segments that music is playing and scenes are show - during this there is often no dialogue. The animation was not too bad either.
This anime starts with a hook. Without giving anything away, it leads you to believe a major event occurs somewhere in the story and it instantly pricks your interest. It suggests the characters formed a unique bond over some event and you can't wait to find out what it is. And so it begins. You sit and you watch; and you wait. Initially nothing happens then a character appears who makes you extremely curious. Who is he? Why is he there? What is he? It's all very mysterious. So far so good, right? Ohhow I wish I knew what was to come. The anime then goes through all thirteen episodes with very little happening. Scenes are repeated ad nauseum and your nostrils will start to twitch. It does however, keep harping back to the hook and you feel you have to keep going because something big is going to happen sooner or later. Alas, it does not. The hook turns out to be merely something that was suggested in passing; and the mysterious character? The attitude is that he is what he is, get over it. He's barely even explained. No major event, nothing. It comes to an end and you're left sitting there with your jaw on your lap, insulted to the core of your being by a story that promised to go clubbing with you all night then went to bed at 9pm with a cup of warm milk instead. It's like waiting all day for the Olympic 100 metres final, only when the moment arrives, the gun goes off to start the race and all the runners slowly get out of the blocks then go home for tea and cake. You feel like you've been conned. If you want to avoid that feeling, avoid this anime at all costs.
