Thrown out of the Silver Wings Battalion—one of the strongest guilds—Dennis is presented with the opportunity to fulfill his dream: opening a restaurant and putting his level 99 cooking skills to use. While setting up his new business, Dennis stumbles across a young enslaved girl named Atelier, seemingly of noble lineage. Reminded of his own past, he decides to free Atelier and hire her as a server. As the restaurant opens its doors to first guests, Dennis and Atelier begin encountering more outcasts like themselves, all looking to talk about their personal problems over plates of delicious food. Unable to resist helping someone in need, Dennis goes out of his way to help with his customers' issues, whether it be with his incredible combat skills or unmatched cooking prowess. Out of all the anime that was on going this season, I did not expect this one to be my favorite, but it ended up being the one I enjoyed the most. Which was a pleasant surprise, especially because it doesn't feel like it was going to have a lot going on. Outcasts Restaurant follows a guy known as Denis who is a level 99 Chef, who was kicked from a famous adventurers guild. Instead of being mad, or out for revenge. Dennis takes this opportunity to pursue his dream of owning his own restaurant. Along the way he meets a girl being sold awayknown as Atelier and buys her to help with the restaurant. Along the way he meets new people, helps them with their problems and gets a loyal customer base. I wasn't sure how much they were going to do with this one. At first I thought it was just going to be a show about cooking or something along those lines as we already have anime that are similar to that concept. However, I feel like the way they did this anime was really well done and it was a lot more interesting than expected. For example: Dennis's backstory was an interesting one, Vivias story was more sad than I expected, Ateliers story was completely unexpected (really trying to avoid spoilers here hence why I'm being so vague). Each episode had me smiling a lot by the end of it and I really enjoyed this one. I really want this to get a season 2 but I doubt it will. I very rarely rate any anime a 10, and for this one it was originally a 9 but with how much I enjoyed it, I had to give it a 10. 10/10
Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant! - Come one, come all: all you outcasts and the oppressed, for food and humour will delight you alongside people who may not understand and/or feel your pain, but good company begets a lonesome life! I really admire authors who go out of their way to show something different of well-known cliches and tropes, even if they have to mask it and show that the works they do are the "same but different," when all AniManga fans know that it's just the same shell, plastered with another coat of paint that hides the true reverence for the cliche/trope in an alltoo similar manner. And like all LN authors who think they know how to play the game better, please try harder, and this message goes out to authors like Yuuki Kimikawa and his series Tsuihousha Shokudou e Youkoso! a.k.a. Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!, which is just the all-too-similar idea of the "Banished from the Hero's Party" storyline, with the cooking aspect as a mask to hide its inherent flaws. Meet Dennis Blacks: the big-sized middle-aged man who has a very unique role in the parties that he requests being assigned to or belongs to: being a chef in times of rest and need, even though he doesn't quite have the versatility and dexterity of Jidou Hanbaiki a.k.a. Vending Machine Isekai's Boxxo. For much of his time in the parties, most of it with the premiere party of the Silver Wing Battalion, Dennis always plays the calm-natured character who always focuses on alchemy, metallurgy, and knives, until the "unfortunate" party-booting that sees him open his own freedom-fighting restaurant in a small town, where people of all personalities and figures frequent for either a good or bad time dealing with the Lvl 99 chef himself. It's also at the Adventurer's Restaurant that Dennis links up with his ragtag crew that would come to help him define his new journey, the first of whom he meets is the oppressed young girl Atelier, who once belonged to a wealthy family that, like Dennis, got the exile due to internal power strife and politics and earned her place in his restaurant being the poster girl. The next few characters that would join Dennis's food party out of circumstances (of which there're many to count), such with the swordswoman of Henrietta being casted out because of her being a woman to "lavishly" eat Dennis's food on credit that he hopes she would pay him back; the young wizard of Vivia Strange, that as cocky and self-conscious as he looks, that's the exact reason why people can't stand him and would not allow him entrance into any party; as well as the sage and corporate drone of Bachel, that for her, good work is always being taken advantage of until she's stripped off of any form of contact, leaving her with nothing but destitution, until her arrival to Dennis's restaurant. With more characters in tow, they flow pretty much with the narrative of a world that rejects them, and Dennis's small restaurant becomes the small light in the darkness that gives them that small sliver of hope. It checks out for a world where everyone strives to be heard and known amidst living in the same place that's filled with evil and tyranny across the board, to oppose with tit for tat to stand up for their own right. If anything, character development is the strongest aspect of the series. It's prospects such as these that tell you how deep the series's world lore is, and in the twinkling of an eye, it's a work that pretty much combines the best and worst of both worlds: the Isekai Shokudou a.k.a. Restaurant to Another World, treatment with as many fantasy stories of the "banished from the hero's party" type as possible, eschewing the bad and putting only the good parts of what makes the cliche/trope "great" to begin with. So, have that for what you will for a series that tries to be interesting, but the depth of its world-building is just too shallow to ever take notice. I guess then, this is a good segue to showcase that the show's overall production from OLM's most prominent segregated Team Yoshioka is decent at best and serviceable for the below-averageness of the series in its own right. While I do find Dannie May's OP to be quite the funky song of note, the same cannot be said for Cho Tokimeki Sendenbu's ED, which is at least OK, but it will not warrant a listen outside of the anime. Sure, without a shadow of a doubt, you can call Tsuihousha Shokudou e Youkoso! a.k.a. Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!, a generic fantasy series whose banishing theme is more prominent than its sum of gourmet stuff. But while the series is far from average, it's one cook too many in the vein of similar works that do a better job integrating different themes seamlessly, so you'd find yourself encroaching on the "yummy" from the not-so-prevalent "yum" portions a lot. It's an alright show, to be honest, but it sure doesn't try much to stand out, and that's OK. Just have a better savoury taste next time, I guess?
Right from the 1st episode I didn't have very high expectations of the anime. It didn't feel original. Very early on our hero, Dennis, frees a slave only for the slave to work for him. The slave was a child, and hence child labor. But this is so common in fantasy anime. But then I am presented by food that Dennis cooks. The food looks good. You can almost feel that its tasty. There are dungeon raids. Its ok but I found it hard to support the raiders, same way I find it hard to support hunters hunting elephants or tigers. Of all thedungeon raid time I only found the story about a ghost girl interesting. But it was a very short mini story. This is a an OK show. For me the highest point is the brief Ghost story. I would have liked it more if Dennis was not a top tier fighter as he was a top tier chef. He spends most of the time running the restaurant, and technically should not have enough time to train to keep in shape to be a top tier fighter. My Rating : 6/10 (Okay)
I really wasn't expecting to love this anime as much as I do now. Tbh ~ I was looking for a chill anime that would be good to watch while doing other activities. BUT I was just TOO hooked on this story and their characters. It is such a touching and wholesome show - that also does a beautiful blend of action and the importance of relationships. I loved the cooking aspect, and the world building as well! So for those who want a chill anime that also has you on your toes - this is the anime for you! Overall 9/10 for me - can't waitfor the 2nd season! (i hope there will be one haha)
This is yet another 'kicked from the hero party' anime and as such it follows the standard checklist OP MC, kicked for a dubious reason, hero is series bad guy and jealous, heroes party starts to collapse without MC being there. I wish this series had actually dared to do something different and reject that initial premise because for the most part the series is good and able to stand out, it did not need such a cliched trope as it would have been perfectly fine without it. Just have MC retire from an S-Rank party on his own accord because he now has the money toopen up his own restaurant, that would have been perfectly fine. But no, we have a cliched start and all the predictable stuff that comes with it. For the most part this series is good when it is focused on the restaurant, Atelier and the customers, this is when it is at its best, fortunately this is over half the series, but just over a third of it is having to deal with hero party trope plot which is just mediocre as they so often end up being. I would have scored this higher, I would be praising it if the hero party was actually left behind, and we just got Dennis and the Outcast Restaurant adventures, we were this close to greatness, but it lacked faith in itself and went with the boring cliché This is a series that has huge potential, it is easy to see what the series could have been if it had just cut out all the subplot trash, and it could have been something special. Dennis, Atelier and his patrons are great, they are what make the series, his mother and Katie are good too, they didn't detract from anything, I just can't say the same thing about Vigo. The way the series introduces Henrietta, Vivia and Bachel mostly works, I feel that the series fell into certain tropes with Henrietta and Atelier as it wanted to be edgy and lacked a clear sense of direction, I feel a lot of the issues I have with this series are possibly from it lacking a clear sense of direction in the early draft before it found its feet, or at least I hope that is the case because then S2 should be better and be more focused on the restaurant vibe. But having the main characters face what has been holding them back, grow as people, grow as adventurers, and also just banter with each other as they enjoy good food, that is a vibe, that for me is the core of this series, the heart of it, and why I enjoyed it so much. Just give me more of that. There is a lot to enjoy about this series, I was ready to give it a 7/10 and it did sit at that as a preliminary score as I was watching it, if it had actually committed to the vibe and dropped the mediocre hero party subplot, it could have been an 8/10 maybe even higher, but it is a 'hero party' anime, and the last few episodes for me were just a let down.

This is a Fantasy, Adventure & Gourmet genre anime, which I recently watched on 7th–8th October 2025. If you’ve seen “Delicious in Dungeon” or “Campfire Cooking” — both of which are food-based anime — then let me tell you, this one is also related to food but goes 2–3 steps further. The story begins with a dungeon fight, where the MC gets kicked out of his team, and later he opens his own restaurant where he serves everyone some truly delicious food. 🍲 But unlike the usual cooking-focused anime (which spend around 50–70% of their time on tasty dishes), this one brings many new twists, which I can’treveal because of spoilers. There are many small quests and mini-adventures in the story — like saving a child from falling into the wrong hands, rescuing a girl from being assaulted, helping a boy escape death, and many more short emotional arcs like these. Even though Season 1 ends properly on its own, I would definitely like to see a Season 2. The MC is actually quite powerful, though his real struggle is only shown in the last fight — which didn’t feel that intense to me. Still, overall, the anime was quite enjoyable. I’d rate it 7 out of 10. It’s a calm and soft anime — simple story, nothing too grand, but still pleasant to watch. Definitely worth a one-time watch if you enjoy light fantasy and food-based adventures. 🍽️
'Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!' seems to be yet another banished from the party anime. It is, yet I find it entertaining enough. § Overview Dennis Blacks found himself exiled from the Silver Wings Battalion when he made a decision that led to their failing the mission, but left the party with no casualties. Using his severance pay, he bid for a certain girl named Atelier. Together, they start a restaurant.§ Notes 1. I humourously call this anime 'My Restaurant Attracts Lolis' due to the fact that the key visual includes Dennis and lolis. (Actually, it's only 3 because the blue-haired person is a boy. He just looks like a girl and fits into the loli æsthetics.) 2. The animation quality is fairly average 3. The OP is catchy and upbeat. So is the ED. 4. I haven't seen the anime, 'Banished From The Hero's Party, I Decided To Live A Quiet Life In The Countryside,' which is the quintessential anime of this genre, but I saw 'The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows.' • Both have the tropes of using their severance pay to save a girl from trouble. Both have interesting protagonists. In Brilliant Healer, it's an arsehole who said enough is enough. In this anime, he's a burly but genuinely nice guy. • As for waifus, both fall short. Brillian Healer includes nonhuman waifus who aren't as sultry as I would have wanted. In this anime, it's lolis. He acts as a father figure to the lolis and the dude in the key visual. His former comrade is a bit sexy and mature, but still drawn as a loli. (Well, if you're okay having a waifu Dennis' foster mother, who is drawn as mid-20s but is probably in her 50s or 60s, it's not all lolis.) • Three things can happen here: 1) you're repulsed by it, 2) you're neutral to it like me, 3) you're a lolicon. If you're the first type of person, you would probably score this really low. If you're the latter two, you would give this a decent score. • Both have to deal with the ugly part of life, including evil and corrupt people. If not for these people, 'Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!' would have been a totally wholesome anime. 5. Be warned. The first few episodes seem pointless and don't seem to have a direction. It starts picking up in the latter half. The protagonist becomes great at the end. § Conclusion It's an enjoyable show for what it is. But does it deserve a high score? I don't think so. NOTA BENE: A rating of 5 out of 10 means that 1) I find this anime to be average, 2) I enjoyed it to some extent, but it has some flaws. 3) Or simply, I rank it below my 6's but above my 4's. A 5 means a passing score. If you're the kind of viewer who treats anything below a 7 as irredeemable, I'd encourage a broader, more nuanced approach to rating. My enjoyment spectrum lies from 4 to 10. If I have scored an anime below 4, I actively dislike it.
This sh!t follows your avg kicked out from hero party trope which is considered as a peak plot for isekai munchers . I started this show for cooking and sol moments not for trope so, pls don't hate me . Now the main point is that does this show delivered the moments that me and every sol cooking lovers desired ? In my opinion yes and it delivered more than that ,+ point of this show is that mc is chad he knows about his power and other imp sh!t . My rating would be higher if this is just solely dedicated for adventure and cookingjust like campfire show . But it involves lame politics and personel hate for other characters . They alread set premise for next season by showing his elder brother .I think it gonna be a show down , brother vs brother . Till then take care bai bai
If you are in need of an ANIME where they dont folow the same sequence of banished from the party then became too op to get revenge and all then this is for you. I personally have watched more than 400 different Anime's can tell that watching this was a great reboot to all the present same themed anime out there. This frantically take you to each character with there developement, comedy and perspective to how viewers understand the character. This makes it more suitable to watch because you will be in need to know more about that the thing you always wanted is not somewherefar away in this world but near you where most people dont notice. Animation and pacing was good, so having writing review for this will be the best thing i would do as the biggest OTAKU out there. So keep watching anime and explore different things you can learn from them.
This turned out to be a pretty decent and wholesome watch 😍. The story had a nice mix of warmth, charm, and lighthearted moments that made it easy to enjoy from start to finish. The characters were likable and had great chemistry, which added a lot of heart to the overall experience. The animation was solid and fit the tone perfectly, while the plot stayed engaging enough to keep me curious about what would happen next. The season ended on a satisfying note but still left a few questions unanswered—definitely setting things up nicely for a Season 2. Overall, it was a pleasant and comforting showthat left me smiling.
Story- 4/10 It's so damn boring. Like it's really predictable. The got kicked out of the hero party storyline is so overused, and everything about this show is boring. Originally it was a lil interesting but as time passed it got more and more boring, and I really didn't wanna focus on it because u can predict what happens. Now it does okie with the fantasy but I wish there was more creative elements to the world. It felt very bare and basic. Like add moore magic or things. The gourmet theme is also not done well, I feel like they went after the most basicdishes you could do, it looked good but that's it. If the main focus is food, I would expect a cooking segment like recipes or how it tastes like. Which makes this show feel lazy and confusing on what it's trying to show and be? The show just comes of as lazy writing, it's basic, there isn't much depth to the story, there's nothing that's unique or anything that keeps u interested. Art- 8/10 The art was pretty good, I think it's one of the more saving points of the show. Color palette is perfect for fantasy theme. And the art style is really cute. And the characters are drawn really well. Sound- 7/10 Voice actors mostly fitted, I do believe some characters needed different voice actors. The opening and closing were okie, nothing too great. Characters- 6/10 None of the characters dealt with their issues on their own. It felt like mc was all big savior. I wish characters had faced their issues on their own, since it didn't really show that much of a growth in them. Also some of the characters backstories are really lazy, u don't really get the point of hearing about it. I didn't really have an attachment to the characters. They are honestly boring. Enjoyment- 5/10 I didn't enjoy this that much, like I did a lil at the start but with time I just got bored with it. I would find myself doing smth else when I was supposed to be watching because it was that boring. There isn't really a take away from the show either.
“Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant!” is what happens when You have solid ideas for 3 episodes and later run with the most basic shit ever. Another “The OP MC is cast out of the party because the leader is brain dead” show. Seriously, just once I would like to see this type of action had a good reason. Ehhh… I really need to stop day dreaming. That said, I really wanted to like this show. It sounded pretty cool on paper. It even started out solid, then turned generic and boring and ended up as a tribute to bullshit writing. In both story and plot departments. Beforewe start I would like to explain something. I will be talking about “plot” and “story”. Many people use those terms interchangeably. I’m not one of those people, so to make sure everyone is on the same page… I use the definitions for “plot” and “story” as Lisa Cron describes them: “What happens in the story is the PLOT, the surface events.” “STORY is about how the things that happen affect someone in pursuit of a difficult goal, and how that person changes internally as a result”. So yeah. There are stories here… kind of. The supporting cast all went through a pretty solid change. Granted it’s mostly done out of sight but I still like it when characters don’t just end up in a status quo at the end of a season. The only one whose change is done really poorly is Dennis’s (the MC). He’s an effing MC, his change should be on full display but instead we get “tell don’t show” type of writing with him. Speaking of Dennis he’s just a terrible, boring, cliché idea of a protagonist. So yes, basically 99% of every anime protagonist from the last 15 years. He is a cook. Has skills as a cook. Was trained from young age as a cook… and ends up a cook, an alchemist and a fucking fighter. At this point let him be also an effing mage and we’ll have all the elements of bullshit bingo. I am getting really sick of the master-of-all type of protagonists. It flattens whatever story and plot You want to tell. Maybe I would get his skills with alchemy. He could have gotten some as a cook. After all they both use similar processes but adding a competent fighter, one that can stand head-to-head with one of, if not the, most powerful fighter in the region? Eff off with that garbage. Oh, and to add insult to injury the way he defeats that fighter is… power of friendship. I’m not even joking. The last 2 episodes during which that fight happens are just bullshit. Out of all the possibilities to have a climactic finale for a show about a cook they choose a fucking fight. How incompetent is the writer again? It wasn’t even an entertaining fight, just the basic poorly choreographed shit You see everywhere. The fight itself didn’t even have proper stakes. It was just a fight between the MC and the guy that fired him (Vigo). They never see them have any sort of meaningful relationship so it’s not like it has some grand or emotional stakes. It’s just a fight between two former members of the same organization. Nothing more. I actually liked how Dennis was positioned in the beginning. He was shown as a support. We didn’t see him fight in the front lines, he did some tanking but mostly he went from person to person offering a recovery item. That was a good setup for his role and skills. There was no reason to believe that he’s a combo of all basic MMO roles. What was wrong with keeping him that way? Who the fuck said “I created a solid idea for a complex character that could have meaningful challenges in some aspects and interactions. I’m gonna fuck this so nobody would think I know how to write”? For the first few episodes Dennis doesn’t really get into fights and even if he does it with people and creatures far below his level. I have no problem with that. He is a lvl 99, we are told that with levels you physical stats grow, so he should be able to brute force his way through weaklings (compared to him). I see very little problems with that. Yes, You could make an argument that a cook still should have problems but he is positioned as someone who reached the level that very few are even able to achieve so I give it a pass. It’s lazy but at least has some internal logic with how the world works and is a solid explanation in those terms. Most of the time we see him being a cook and a mentor. Those are really good roles for a character like that. He even gets himself 3 (kind of) proteges and an adoptive daughter. Still, a good combo. Characters for whom he can be a proper catalyst of change and story. To push them towards new heights and motivate them… yeah… I’m naive, I know. Unfortunately not one of the people who he acts almost as mentor to deal with their problems on their own. Dennis does everything. Need a new party? Denis finds one. That same party turns out to be a bunch of rapists? Dennis kicks their asses. Have a shitty contract with a shitty organization? Dennis saves the day. Ok, the last one isn’t 100% his doing but still, it wasn’t done by the person involved in the contract. It’s just so repetitive and lazy. On top of that the “outcasts” are positioned as victims, even if their situation is totally their fault. A woman knight has problems because people don’t want women front liners… for some reason, but she’s not exactly, apart from one time, looking for new groups. I get it, she was almost raped but You are telling me that in this world there are no groups made entirely of women for that exact reason? Or any other reason for that matter. Being overlooked because of her sex isn’t her fault, but the fact that she doesn’t look for all female groups or even tries to create one is. All she does is make her tab bigger. The mage has problems fitting in because of his ego. That is 100% his fault, the show even acknowledges that but what are the solutions? One close to death encounter and that’s it. Seriously? After one shitty experience it just erases years of being an egomaniac? That’s not how that works. On top of that, for the whole show he only knows 1 spell. Granted he seems to be able to at least to a limited degree, modify its properties but it’s still one spell. And the fucker thought that he’s some kind of powerful mage? The fuck? I could give some leeway to the overworked corp-splave sage but not properly reading the contract is totally on her. Even after the signing, there are law enforcers and organisations she should be able to present her case and get out of that contract. All three of them could be viewed as commentary on actual problems people are facing in life but that doesn’t work, because if it did it would just be a lesson to be a cry baby until someone comes and rescues You. Just how pathetic is that? I get why the show didn’t want to deal with rape and it consequences but in that case it should have picked something that could be shown and problematic enough to make the victim deal with it. That way we wouldn’t get a passive, pathetic character that is cuddled by Dennis despite doing jack shit. Something that got me curious is that none of them thought of forming an adventuring party together. I get that one melee and two casters isn’t exactly a balanced team but it would be enough to get them through easy and maybe even some easier advanced dungeon jobs. After all, the girl knight does jobs on her own (yes, she does jobs, she’s just bad with money and management). That would show that all of them are determined, can adapt and want to be self-sufficient in the long term. The ending for them wouldn’t have to change, it would just be more organic and logical because they would all be more experienced and hardened for their new jobs. It’s seemingly a small thing that they never thought of it but it does show how passive they are as characters. To be fair that alone positions them not as proper characters but as accessories to the diner and maybe Dennis’s pets. They do close to nothing of importance while he is not around. It’s actually rather insulting to the viewer. The characters themselves aren’t original but they could play off each other rather well. Ok, I avoided it enough. Time to talk about the main antagonist — Vigo (not Mortensen). In one of the episodes we actually see some of his backstory and… yeah, he would be a much more interesting MC than Dennis is, if it weren’t for the fact that they made him comically evil. The type of character You get in saturday morning cartoons to get beat up and for You not to feel bad about it. It’s a shame because his back story (at least circumstances in it) could be changed into something really good and organic. For starters he doesn’t like, hates seems to be a more appropriate word, high society. He wants to be above them but… we don’t see why. Because he was working for a high society family? We don’t see him get mistreated. We actually see him being shown kindness and compassion. But his reaction to that is having a cringe, edge lord type of monologue and being an asshole and animal abuser / murderer. Someone please call John Wick. I actually think that his hatred towards high society can be a good motivator for him to want to be on top of everyone but for fucks sake let me see a proper reason why. Show me that he was mistreated, beaten, raped, used for entertainment in a cage fight or at least get his brother killed by one of the members of nobility. Anything that would give him a reason to be an asshole, garbage human. As it stands he’s just “evil” for evil’s sake. He doesn’t seem to create close connections, is always on guard and has a temper. Those are not bad traits to have for a compelling character. But give me some sort of reason for them or at least show me that he can act differently under specific circumstances. That way he wouldn’t be so flat. He basically went from zero to hero (well… an asshole and a villain). He trained, sacrificed people all for his goal and became one of the most skilled and strong people in the show. He also did that as someone with a combatant class. So why the fuck did he loose to a cook? Fuck Your “power of friendship” bullshit, the moment their fight began, Dennis should have been on the ground in seconds. This is not a contest of brute strength, this is a proper fight and Vigo has every possible advantage. The fact that he lost is just a testament of the writer's ineptness. This is a 1v1 between a hardened fighter and a cook. This shouldn’t even be a contest. I would get it if Dennis wasn’t fighting him alone. There are at least 2 characters who could have helped in that fight. But he’s fighting alone. You want me to believe that a cook can out skill a proper warrior in a fight? I can suspend my disbelief rather well but this is just bullshit. There are few anime with a fantasy setting and some kind of restaurant as it’s main point. All of them work best as a sort of anthology concentrated on customers with an added pinch of the workers. This show is the same. It works best in the first half when that’s the main plot. But unfortunately, later it adds unnecessary political drama and concentrates too much on Dennis and him as a character. It changes from a show about an overpowered protagonist running a restaurant and becomes just another, boring, cliché filled fantasy about an overpowered protagonist that doesn’t have any sort of meaningful story or challenges. I’m not against him helping out his customers. I actually think that would be the perfect middle ground for him but the show forgets about the customers half way and they become just background noise. Apart from the 3 I mentioned before. I am not touching the subject that the dude bought himself, practically, a daughter. Fuck that subject. Funny enough that is the only moment when the show acknowledges slavery at all. For all other episodes we don’t see evidence of it anywhere. Why the fuck do it that way? Why not echo his past? Let Atelier (yes, that is the name of the girl he bought) be just a stray he finds. He was in the same situation so it would still fit, even more than him buying her. Why does every lazy fantasy show have to have slavery? Do I think this is a bad show? Surprisingly no. I think it’s safe. The writer either fears or is unable to take risks. There is nothing in this show that would make you remember it for too long but as long as You are watching it can be entertaining in a “don’t think about it too much” sort of way. Unfortunately I do think too much about those things and that’s the reason I can’t recommend it.
