After moving into his new apartment, art school student Tatsuhiko Kido discovers a crack in his wall. When he peeks inside, he makes eye contact with his neighbor, Emiru Ikuno, as she masturbates. He rushes next door to clear the misunderstanding and inform her of the crack, but accidentally trips and falls over her in the process. To make matters even worse, Emiru now has photographic evidence that would plainly depict Kido as a sexual offender. Kido then learns that Emiru has a voyeurism fetish, and is blackmailed into leaving the crack as is. Unfortunately for Kido, it doesn't stop here! Emiru is also attending the same art school that he is, and he will be seeing her far more than he would like to. Emiru and Kido are set to embark on a unique friendship with wildly erotic potential. I'll be straight on this reviews . PLEASE READ THE MANGA . The manga is wayyyyyy better and complex than this OVA and I enjoyed it a lot . In my opinion , this is just a rushed OVA made in order to improve the sells on the manga . So I will point the principal ideas out: Story - 8 As much as it shows in this OVA , I think 8 is a pretty generous score . A college student moves into a new apartment after living all his life on country-side . After moving in , he's stunned to see a young girl masturbatingin the other apartment through a hole in the wall . After this incident , they get stucked with each other and their relationship develops slowly . Art - 7 Nothing outstanding , but still enjoyable . Sound - 5 Bad voice actors choice and not a single track that catches your attention . Character - 8 Emiru is really a great character , if you read the manga , you'd observe how charming and intelligent she really is . Kido is your average student , his kindness ruins him though . Enjoyment - 9 This is good fap material , for real . I think this is the only way this OVA can be used for . Overall - 7 The OVA was ok , but I just can't hold myself but say that there is a desperate need of at least a second OVA . This one covered only a small amount of chapters from the manga , and the best part was left outside .
Alright, I'll be honest here. If you're not prepared for some ecchi and abrupt fan service from even the first few seconds of this episode, then click 'x' on that video and immediately drop it. But at any rate, if you can make it further than that, this OVA episode is adapted into a way that depicts how a simple blackmail will turn into a strange routine for a new boy in town. Nozoki Ana is a special OVA episode that runs for over 40 minutes in time length adapted from the current ongoing manga of the same name. The OVA episode is adapted fromthe 13th and final volume of the manga series as it will conclude soon. Eager fans of the manga may be delightful to see an animated version of the manga. It's almost like a dream come true just like our main protagonist, Kido in the episode. However, not all is as it seems.. From even the very first seconds, there is an incidence of a lascivious scene. It's actually from this incident (that turns into blackmail) involving our unlucky main protagonist, Kido. But it doesn't stop there because of this peephole that exists in his place. It is the object of both Kido's desire and fear as his neighbor Ikuno has a perverted nature while he himself is not immune to the lustful girls presented in this episode. This is especially true since the girls in this episode is about as lustful as they come. Take for example, Ikuno. She uses that peephole to satisfy her desires. But it doesn't stop there. The date that Kido-kun takes back to his home also gives him a pleasurable experience. At the same time, it seems that Kido being the healthy boy is always eager to go with what the girls want. Obviously, being 18 years old and all makes him give into such trivial ideas. Despite hating the situation of being peeped on during several occasions, he does seem to care about Ikuno as witnessed later on. He claims that he "hates" Ikuno while Ikuno herself likes everything about him. Initially, Kido becomes the chick magnet of this episode. And of course, being the manipulative girl that she is, Ikuno does what she wants, when she wants, and how she wants. It puts Kido at a very uncomfortable position and many times, he wishes that everything from the beginning never happened. Yet, he somehow gets aroused by what he sees, hears, and does. In fact, Kido doesn't even have a real girlfriend yet but has experiences more from his date than ever. Also, there's the situation between him and Ikuno. At many stances, it's obviously apparent that he has some feelings or the very least, lust for her. In fact, they even get into several compromising positions that invokes the 'just do it already'. It's quite frustrating to watch because how short this episode is and the fact that Kido just can't seem to get his hands together with her. Alright, so at this point, I had to face palm myself many times because of the way this episode was being handled. The production values used in this episode was quite weak and not only generic but the fact that it was just mishandled in general from the beginning. Studio Fantasia who handles the production has done some other 'ecchi' titles in the past and I have to say that in this episode, they dropped the ball. Surprisingly, the episode does have somewhat of a "plot". Can you believe it? An ecchi title with a plot! It's very weak though and literally gets to nowhere. The soundtrack isn't any better either with the voice acting and background score. You'll hardly pay attention to it anyways since the episode's soundtrack is the last thing you'll be thinking about with the other "sounds" going on in the backgrounds. Overall enjoyment: 4 (I guess?) Well, I'm actually having a hard time deciding the score but being a manga fan, I am a bit more generous. It's just that the ecchi is quite explicit to the point where it's borderline H. This episode felt out of pace and overall should of either being adapted into a full anime series or just leave it out altogether. Not worth the time.
Nozoki Ana is a very strange OVA, to say the least. It is an OVA that may put off others at the very first sight of it, due to the heavy ecchi content within it. Though I didn't come to like the show itself, it can't be said that there weren't some redeeming traits. Story: 5-/10 The first thing to note about Nozoki Ana is its odd storyline. It is generally an ecchi romance that nearly heads straight-on into adult content, but isn't so direct. It will be very clear from the beginning that it is not an ideosyncratic piece of work filled with any type ofmeaning or worth. Though, that's not to say it isn't at the very least interesting. The general premise of the story is interesting, though similar to another anime soon coming out this next season. When 18-year old Tatsuhiko Kido moves into an apartment, he finds that his next-door neighbor, classmate Emiru Ikumo, has placed a hole into the wall so that she could fulfill her sexual desires through peeping. The question remains how she knew that her neighbor would be a substantially lust-fulfilling roommate to begin with. She blackmails him, and forces him to let her peep on him. She does this with a picture she took of both of them, when she just happened to catch Kido in a stereotypical anime "tripping situation". How she happened to have a camera at that very moment is also of question. This nonchalant, simple moment happens to be the only thing keeping the story together, and becomes rather questionable. The rest of the story holds the backbone of Kido's sexual relationship with Yuri Kotobuki and his growing relationship with Emiru Ibuko, who is essentially sexually harrassing him. The OVA seems to end halfway through the actual story, according to relative sources. It may be important to note that this is a 13 volume manga being adapted into a 46 minute OVA. Because of this, the general pacing of the anime is dumped to ruin. The prose of the anime generally consists of pseudo-sex scenes, leaving no time for any real story development to begin with. Due to this, the viewer generally gets BORED, if not aroused, and will likely find the situations uninteresting, save Emiru's odd nature. Art: 4/10 One thing to say about the art style is "BLAND". Bland is a very simple word, but one that is perfect to say about the art style of this anime. The art in itself is unimpressive, and is similar to the style that low budgeted hentai anime have. I am led to believe that this show might as well have been a direct hentai, as it didn't have much else going for it in any department. The animation itself is under decent, if I am using the word "decent" in its purest definition. At times, the animation seems to be clear and fluid, though never eye-catching, as I refer to the movement of the breasts. However, at other times, the animation is clearly slow, and lacking. When viewing this show, you will notice, that, like many hentai animations, most of the animation goes into the movement of the breasts. This is why, once again, I reiterate the fact this show might as well have been completely hentai. The art and animation in general were lacking. Sound: 4/10 I don't have a very keen ear for music in general, but I can tell when something is ear-catching. Like the mediocre story and artwork, the music somehow manages to compliment the others in the "mediocre" section, to the point in which I believe the writers were going for a "mediocre" tone in general. The music barely caught my ear, as it was so insignificant to what was going on. It was boring, to say the least. The melodies were simple and formulaic, and they felt as if they were often there just to add some feeling to the scenes I had been watching, and it did. It gave me a general feeling of "mediocre". Like every other quality in this show, it was completely and utterly mediocre. The seiyuu were unimpressive as well. They basically filled in the archetypal roles of the characters. This, however, was to be blamed on the lack of real character development. Due to this lack, the seiyuu were unable to give any serious attempt at emulating the nonexistant characters. Characters: 3/10 Every single character lacked real personality, and I found that most of the characters were there to push along the storyline, which was also almost nonexistant. Tatsuhiko Kido, the protagonist, is an 18 year old male who ends up trapped in Emiri's web. He tries to ignore her, but for some reason, the plotline requires him to develop a close relationship with her without actually developing their relationship. He comes off as a generic anime main character, and lacks real personality. Emiru Ikuno, the female protagonist, is the only character with arguably positive qualities: the fact she actually has some personality to begin with. Of course, most of her personality comes from the shock value of her consistent lust. For some reason, she comes off as apathetic to Kido, but comes to love him for no disclosed reason, and, again, the lack of development to begin with. Because of this, any of her real potential is lost to begin with. The side characters are only there to move the plotline along, and, find that they are not developed at all beyond what they exist for. Due to this lack of character development, which comes from the lack of time, the story once again shoves the side characters off as material that would work better in an actual hentai. Overview: 3/10 Nozoki Ana was not an anime with much potential, but it was one with, at the very least, the potential to become interesting. Unfortunately, it focuses so much on the ecchi factors that you can't help but think it would work better as a direct hentai series. Due to the general mediocre qualities of the series, and the abyssal pacing, the show feels like softcore porn. I argue that this anime should have expanded on the story and characters a bit more than it did, as it would have become substantially more watchable. Unfortunetely, it becomes a generally useless piece of work made to satisfy flesh.
Being an overly stereotypical mess... The main character is sexually oblivious and refuses to have anything to do with the first girl that "comes onto him". Not only that, he actually does life her "alot" but refuses to accept it because he is that terrible of a character. Then he goes out and believes he fell in love with someone who decided that instead of playing innocent, would be extremely aggressive and clingy. Yep. Great show. The manga is worse because the Main character somehow gets even stupider, even more selectively-sexually oblivious, and is prone to long bouts of confusion and yelling at completely inappropriate times topeople infront of his face... while overreacting at that by destroying his own belongings. Pro-tip: Pretend that this Manga/Anime doesn't exist. The MC and forced plot are beyond awful. And the amount of "hentai/ecchi" is downright minimal at best for the manga at most times while it drowns out your depression and confusion with the man character yelling "I HATE YOU" multiple times unjustifiably.
I don't usually review shows here on My Anime List.. but I'll make an exception for Nozoki Ana. The thing is... I'm INCREDIBLY pissed off at this OVA, to a degree only people that actually went trought the whole manga can imagine. This OVA makes Nozoki Ana seems a simple "soft-hentai show" while in reality... it's so much more than that. In the rating of the show i gave 6 to every single aspect of it because well.. the characters are the ones in the manga, the story is the one in the manga, etc... the problem tho is this: Nozoki Ana, in manga form, isone of the few mangas i really consider to be a "masterpiece". It becomes incredibly dark, it has heavy (and i mean H E A V Y ) drama and it's romance puts to shame a lot of other "pure-romance" show out there. This OVA tho... it only takes the beginning of the story, focus a lot on the sexual part of it and... it ends before you can even have a little glimps at what the story will actually become after that. I'm positive whoever watched this without actually knowing about hos good the manga it will categorize Nozoki Ana as something "ecchi" worth the watch only for the sex part and nothing more... and that is why I'm pissed off at this, because I'm sure this will make people think Nozoki Ana is something not worth going into and will probably make the manga lose quite a lot of chances. So know this: don't watch the anime, go DIRECTLY for the manga, you will find a masterpiece that will literally tear your heart and soul apart from time time... i know mine actually did skip a beat... expecially in the 116 chapter.
I should start by stating the obvious: the manga is so much better!! And they kinda butchered it in this OVA... Story - 8 The story is very good. They set the premise pretty well, but it doesn't go anywhere from there. I assume they want to make a second one. Art - 2 If we don't compare the art to the manga then it's pretty decent, but how can they have such a beautiful art in manga and transform it into... what they did in the anime? It was hard to watch. Sound - 1 The worst voice actors ever. As for the soundtrack, nothing that got my attention.Character - 6 They did the characters pretty ok, but I feel like their appearance was so off that I couldn't enjoy them anyway. You have your pathetic male main characters that gets too much sex for not doing anything special. But he is a good guy. And Emiru, a mysterious pervert who likes peeping on her neighbor, our hero. The OVA didn't get enough time to reveal the reasons behind Emiru actions but it showed us a lot of Emiru's faces which was nice. Enjoyment - 1 I didn't. I'm sorry, I'm just too attached to the manga.
Its hentai with plot, what more can you ask for? Its about some guy getting blackmailed and having to have sex while being watched. On the bright side though, he meets a girl and has sex with her immediately! He doesn't even admit to liking her until he has sex with her twice! Its hentai with plot so its 10/10 Story: Twists and turns and shitArt: It does the job Sound: It does the Job Character: The smug girl characters and the innocent boy character make a great contrast Enjoyment: As someone who chose this because its hentai with plot, I got what I asked for Overall: Its a masterpiece
The admins on HH just went 69 IQ mode for transferring this to their site. Should transfer Yosuga no Sora. Because it engages in sexual relations scenes, does not mean it is hentai, similar to how include films are not pornography since they have intercourse scenes. Rather, "the sexual moments simply make a one-of-a-kind mindset for the story advancement." Haha, truly. In actuality, the plot was strict poo, notwithstanding for hentai. There is no character improvement. They simply experience passionate feelings all of a sudden, and after that, BOOM! Sentiment. That would be all right in hentai, yet to the extent that I can see, thisdid not plan to be one. Possibly in case you are: (1) 8 years of age (an untimely ejaculator), for the simulated intercourses are under 5 minutes in length; and (2) cross-sexual, for a large portion of the term of which is the face of the male MC; you could bust a nut. Talking about whom, he is a washout. In the event that you have watched School Days, at that point, simply think about a milder variant of the MC. He is a horny adolescent who needs to engage in sexual relations with essentially every young lady in the arrangement. Furthermore, the reason why he is a milder adaptation of the MC of School Days is on the grounds that "every young lady in the arrangement" alludes to just two young ladies. That is nothing contrasted with the OG School Days hero who screwed like thirty young ladies. On the off chance that you need to reduce your torment, at that point, do not watch this arrangement as a hentai. I am sorry for my awful English. It is not my first language.
This anime is extremely close to straight up hentai. You need to be aware of that before watching. So, if you're still here, you know what you're here for. And yes, this will 'do the job'. The story gets a 5. It would get higher but it is incomplete, basically. The ending leaves you expecting continuation because there are no real conclusions. Art - 5 and Sound - 7. The art does a decent enough job at conveying the settings, the animation is decent and the characters are visually appealing enough. There are sex scenes, as you should expect, and sound is used in place of avisual (otherwise this would be hentai) to let you know exactly what's going on. Characters - 6, some character concepts are good but due to most of this animation being "action", there's not much development outside of the MC and the peeper girl. Even then, it's only a little and not much comes of it. Enjoyment - 7. Like I said, it will "do the job". It's not trying to make you question the world, cry your eyes out of romance. It's about sex and peeping. And its enjoyable to watch for exactly that. Overall - 6, you'll forget it in a day or two but when you watch it you'll probably enjoy it. Don't watch without headphones and during daytime unless you live alone.
At first, I only rated the OVA, not the manga itself. I would gladly give the maximum mark for every aspects of the manga, to be honest. Anyway, about the OVA : basically, it is just an appetizer or an invitation to discover the written version. It covers a few chapters and tends to be more erotical than the original version (you actually don't want to know where I first watched it... plot twist : not on YouTube or any anime website). However, the realization is not that bad and it completly fulfills its purpose, which is : catching the viewer's attention and waking up his /her curiosity. Obviously, it worked for me, 'cause I read the manga during an entire afternoon. Know that I extremely read mangas and rarely watch animes : it needs to be really good or attractive to force me to get out of my games (#Dota 2, #Path of Exile....) I found the manga amazing, mesmerizing and every line I read was an excellent moment. Having something which can be both hilarious, depressive, sad or happy isn't common and Nozoki Ana takes part in this category. The story itself is way more deeper than what's shown in the OVA and I can highly recommend you to take a look at the manga. The erotical theme is still recurrent but shows a real deep love story, that really reached my heart & feelings. I won't say more than that : if you appreciated the OVA or if it caught your attention, go ahead and read the original version. Even if you are like me - not a manga reader, especially not an erotical manga / anime reader / viewer - you could appreciate it.
when i watched the episode about a college student named kido who learns he has a a peeping horny neighbor and i was so psyched to see the movie and the scenes of her masturbating and him in this relationships with his new girlfriend and his peeping neighbor was funny too watch and the dialogue wasnt bad i love but i hated how it ended on a cliffhanger it needs an episode 2 overall its very funny and the girls in the hentai is so hot i do recommend watching or giving it a look at the characters are ok kido is themain hero u see him struggle as hes in a relationship with one girl but he is still letting the neighbor see him through her peephole and as she has given him the chance to make a move you can only say as he refuse her sleep with her sleep with her which episode 2 can added in as a threesome scene
