The anime is better than the OVA but is good too, is a simple ″additional episode″. Finally I watch this, sometimes is a little boring because don′t have very action but if you like the anime try to watch
I love this OVA. I think the heroine has no route on this episode compare to the anime series. Meaning, it is a harem episode. Most viewers of the anime wish to heroine to choose a guy and live a happily ever after. But the anime is different. If you wish to choose a guy, play the Amnesia: Memories game available at Steam Store. Also in App Store in mobile but you have to buy to continue the story and support the game as well. I feel sad for people that they call it a trash anime series. I wish they know the nature story ofevery otome game. The story is meant to make a game because its otome style. I wish they will make another OVA, a route for Orion LOL. ♥ Shin ♠ Ikki ♣ Kent ♦ Toma 🂿 Ukyo This episode is more of funny moments at Maid and Butler cafe, no main story. All the characters are working closely together to help boost the cafe. It's that world where they can all be cute and silly without any cares to the erm..world.The OVA setting is after the Toma's route or before Ukyo's route.
To begin with, I have to say this is better than the original anime. But then again, I'm not sure why I even bothered watching it. To make it short, I decided to watch this because I'm a little OCD about leaving things unfinished. If I start an anime, I must finish every season and OVA and special and movie-- I just HAVE to. I didn't like Amnesia as a series, but I ended up here anyhow-- but I liked this a lot more than the original show. The story was simple and fast-paced enough that I didn't get too bored. It had a simplepoint, got resolved quickly, and made some sense. The art, like usual, was freaking gorgeous. The weird costumes and stuff irked me like usual, but the eyes and backgrounds were phenomenal. The opening and closing themes were astounding like usual, though the background music sometimes seemed displaced. The characters were eh. They were even more out of character than they were in the original anime, but they were simple enough. I enjoyed this enough to get through the episode, but I probably won't ever watch it again. I would recommend this if you: liked the original anime, like cute sorta-crack episodes, like reverse harems I would NOT recommend this if you: despised Amnesia, like plot, despise reverse harems Have a great day everyone!
The OVA for Amnesia, following on from the first season, we're left with some questions. I'm here in hope that they'll be answered for me, or at least one of them. But that's not the case.. The OVA is good, but it's just a usual side story. All the main characters are involved, it seems to be placed before the ending of the season, based on some happenings of the episode which wouldn't be said otherwise. It begins with our Heroine, at work, when she hears some noises and leaves the room to find something shocking.. The story continues from there. You get little bits and pieces from all thecharacters so they're all pretty much equally encountered.
I would say this anime is worth trying out even though the plot is a bit unclear at first (you'll figure it out eventually). After completing it I can say that the art and character designs (especially the guys ;p) are beautifully animated. However, thats the only good thing I found about this anime. I didn't find that much plot and character development going on considering the fact that its based on the otome game. I would've liked it if they contributed more storyline for each character. On the other hand, I do compliment the anime ending on leading/hinting to the otome game.
Story 6/10 As someone who likes the otome game and even enjoyed the anime series I thought it was a lot of fun watching. At the beginning maybe a little bit confusing but once you’re in it’s a fun watch. Nothing too deep but for an OVA well done. Characters 9/10 Watching the characters interact with each other was really the most fun about this. They all stick to their characters and it’s refreshing to see how they “bond” (or un-bond – I know, that’s not a word). It was worth to watch just to see Ikki in a panda-costume and glasses *-*. Also allthe other characters were simply awesome (except for Toma whom I automatically told to shut up every time he appeared on screen and opened his mouth. Not that it helped though). There was specifically one scene with Shin which made me like him more :3. Also I know most people don’t like MC because they think she’s rather bland but I think she is cute and likable as proven here. Animation 6.5/10 Was it just me or did the animation look different from the series? I honestly don’t know which one I’d prefer. Anyway, still nicely animated. Music 10/10 The OST is simply amazing<3. And most of all: they kept the Opening from the anime series which I fully understand. Because in my opinion it will always be the best anime Opening I’ve ever seen <3. “Zoetrope” by Nagi Yanagi is a masterpiece! The Ending theme was also beautiful and fitting. Overall/Enjoyment 8/10 While it’s nothing mind-blowing I really enjoyed watching. That being said there is a BUT… Because I think you’ll most likely enjoy it if you either played the game or watched the anime series (maybe even both) and are at least a little familiar with the original plot. It might be enjoyable even without this knowledge but I’d recommend it because this way you’ll get the most fun out of it (also when it comes to the characteristics of each character). But if you do watch the series a little warning: don’t expect it to have the same tone as this OVA because it’s a little more serious and a little darker.
