A cabbie got his kicks by blackmailing, raping, and storing women in his "collection" back in his old town. Now he is in a new town with new women. He wants to have sex with them. He picks each girl up many times and follows them around. They do not seem to notice it's the same cabbie until it's to late, until he gets all his sources and starts to blackmail them. In his new town his first fare was Satsuki, a member of the archery club. He goes on from there to get twins, a swimmer, a cheer leader, and more.

Ahh, hentai. I guess it's a given that some can get a bit weird, and some of the fetishes in this one go a bit far. Bare in mind that this whole series revolves around the taxi driver raping the girls- and the rape is quite merciless. I find that most hentai nowadays that has rape in it tames it a bit to 'sexualize' it, but in Sex Taxi, the girls find no pleasure in it, and it gets pretty rough sometimes. I am a girl though, so maybe it's just the thought of it that I don't like so much. I'm trying to notexaggerate how rough the rape is. It's not too bad, honestly. It was nothing I couldn't handle or hadn't seen before.
Ok, so the story. It's surprisingly original for a hentai, which I really admire and love about it. You shouldn't be mislead by the title though; if you're only considering watching this because of the idea of sex in cars, then look elsewhere. Seriously, there is only one or two scenes in the car, and they're between two customers, not the driver and a customer. He actually takes the girls to a warehouse he owns for the 'sexy times'. The story is mostly about him actually getting the evidence together for the blackmailing, and him planning how to get the girls rather than filled to the brim with sex. There is a formula type thing for each episode. The first part is about the process of him getting the girl back to the warehouse so he can rape her. There is then a smaller chunk of a few minutes towards the end of the episode where he actually does have sex with the girl. It follows this steady pattern the whole way through more or less, which wasn't my cup of tea because I like a hentai with a bit of spontaneity about it. Overall, the story was pretty neat and I enjoyed watching the driver act all evil, complete with evil laughs. He's a bit like if Light Yagami was a massive pervert.
Oh, Milky Animation. Definitely one of my favourite hentai animators. The art style was veeery simplistic for anime standards, but average for hentai standards at the time of release (no pun intended), 2002. There aren't any styles or tones to the show, it literally is just simple animation. I did like a lot of the character designs for the girls though, especially the first one who has a super-cute bow in her hair. My gender is starting to leak out now (now pun intended again), sorry about that. Milky's best work was definitely Bible Black, the godfather of hentai, quickly followed by Cambrian, a tentacle romp which has some decent story to it. I recommend both wholeheartedly, but not Cambrian if you're squeamish... It gets a little gory at some points. Anyway! This doesn't have any of the awesome animation that those two have, and Milky hasn't included it's signature character designs, with the protruding cheekbones and rather detailed female bodies. It's cheap, and has a lot of two-part animations for a few seconds, which us hentai watchers
know about all too well. In a word, meh. For the time at least, by today's standards, it's pretty bad, but not the worst I've seen by a longshot. That would probably go to Kibun Kibun or The Roomate. Yeah.
Sound! This one will be short, so bare with me here. Voice acting is average, nothing outstanding. I usually know it was a good performance if I remember lines that I enjoyed, in Japanese of course. There is a dub, but obviously, it's terrible. I mean, it was 2002. One other thing... The voice actor
for the taxi driver does get my reluctant kudos because he manages to be one creepy motherfucker, and some of his lines made my hair stand on end. Not because it was hot, but because it creeped me out so much!
Is it worth bothering with the characters? This is hentai, after all. Ugh, fine. You know how this works, hentai-eers, each chick in the harem is for one fantasy. We get a swimmer, a woman having a affair, a cheerleader, sisters, schoolgirls etc. You know the drill, guys. The taxi driver's character design is unique in that you never see his eyes, they are just shadows. This is obviously because a) He is all mysterious and whatnot, and b) Because it's distracting for a dude to see another dudes eyes and expressions, right? I wouldn't really know, but it's an educated guess. I found the taxi driver very distracting, myself. I have a trippy imagination, and so I was terrified the whole time that you'd see his eyes and they would be, like, Tokyo Ghoul ghoul eyes or some shit, or that he wouldn't have any eyes at all. Maybe watching Pigeon Blood spurred that response, I don't know. Little word of advice: Don't watch Pigeon Blood. Please. You'll never kiss anybody again, I promise you. Another distracting thing about the driver is that he always has his hat on. All the time, seriously. I love the hat, it's funky. But I found myself wondering why he still had the hat on, and then my mind started wandering again. "Maybe he's actually bald and his hair is attached to the hat? Is he a cyborg?" The list goes on.
Enjoyment! 5 whole episodes... Eugh. I feel like I would have liked it more if there weren't so many. Having to plough through them all (no pun intended) was a bit taxing (ahh, the terrible puns) and I found myself bored quite quickly. I'd say you should check out the first episode, and if you don't like the way it is, move on to something else. Keep watching each episode until you are bored with the formula. That's what I did.
Overall, at least check out the first episode. If you're not in it for the story (surprise surprise) then just skip halfway on every episode to get to the porn quickly. It's a decent series if you give it a chance, but the whole thing screams "meh" at me.

In this story we follow the thoughts of a psycho taxi driver: totally merciless, equally efficient in planned crime. His profile remembers that of Kira from Death Note, including his wicked appearance, but in this adult version his ambition is about kidnaping beautiful girls through blackmailing methods, just to keep them as his sexual toys, what he calls 'hunting'. In every episode, he starts remembering us of how unnoticed a taxi driver appears to their passengers, what prompts them to believe everything said and done in a taxi remains as a complete secret. These brief intro scenes, however, take this too far and show peoplehaving explicit sex in the back seat, and that evidently doesn't happen in the main scenes.
He acts as a normal taxi driver in his everyday life, so that no one suspects of his criminal intentions. Discreetly, he pays close attention to what the girls say and do in the back seat, and eventually stalks them to learn more about their lives. When finally given the chance, he uses his camera and recorder to capture them misbehaving or breaking rules.
Then he meets the target girls again, just to show their compromising photos and records and threaten to reveal the documents to the public if they don't do what he demands. Fearing moral reprehension, all the girls have no choice but to accept their terrible fate. He finally drives them to an abandoned house where he not only rapes them, but also forces them to perform masturbation, lesbian sex and other acts of his choice.
Every episode focuses on a different victim, but previous victims also take part at the beggining of episodes. Sex scenes depict pure and merciless rape, and collaboration between some of the girls is very briefly shown.
The protagonist's original art also caught my attention. He drives a remarkably pink taxi while he wears a blue taxi cap and a golden earring. His eyes are not seen in the first two episodes.
The plot is pretty creative and original for a hentai, but the title seems kinda inconsistent, since the story centers more on the driver than on the taxi. Undoubtedly interesting anyways.
