Amid a flurry of rain, a windshield wiper remains undeterred even by the unavoidable prospect of death. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
Nenhum episódio encontrado.
The protagonist of the animation drives his vehicle on the effect of alcohol while it rains intensely, in the first person view we see how an individual behaves on the effects of alcohol and what dangers it can bring, during the trip we run over all the characters in the story countless times, they all have a different expression whenever they hit the car and the car's windshield wipes the rain. In addition it has spectacular sound effects. It's a Original Net Animation comedy in just 37 seconds! I can say without a doubt that I liked it a lot and that I laughed a lot.
this is one of the best anime's of all time... purely amazing... better than eromanga sensei Story: 10 The story of a black line moving from left to right. Art: 10 A pure white background... Sound: 10 Very realistic compared to the unbearable Sagiri screams from Eromanga Sensei.Overall: 10 I feel sad that this anime has a low score on average however, I hope to see people to read this review and change they mind of what they've thought about 001. 001 consists of realistic sounds, artistic drawings which make the anime come to life. I enjoyed it very much but I would like it to be more than 37 seconds. An average anime episode is 22 minutes, so this anime is special and unique and should be considered as the best anime of all time.
It's just a piece of Sakuga practice work with sound effects added on... as usual for an animator as eating for you. Don't get it why people are criticizing it as if it should've been some kind of magnificent cornerstone 30+ seconds project in the history of animation development. Maybe just because it was named 001 and was destined to be in the first place of an alphabet ascending ordered list? Certainly it's not an epic piece of work. However, when you watch it frame by frame, you can learn how the facial distortion and raindrops are expressed. (How did you recognize those black spots and shadowsas raindrops at first, yeah maybe a second, glance? That's what animators do!) This piece might be a demonstration material or just for fun.
When searching for quick time wasters, one usually searches for something that is funny, memorable, maybe even a bit interesting. I would have to say that 001 combines all of these very well. Story: 6 To avoid spoilers, it was better than what I've seen some full Anime make in five episodes, and this had 37 seconds so. Art: 7 Very simple art design leaves it to the imagination to fill in the color and the world around it. Sound: 7 Starts off with realistic sound effects that are quickly replaced by random sounds that bring a hint of comedy to a rather dark concept. Character:5 Not a lot of characters that are notable here. They all basically do the same, just different sound effects. However, the characters weren't detrimental to the show so... five! Enjoyment: 8 I mean, it was 37 seconds! If you can find something more impressive that only takes 37 seconds, then I'd like to know! Overall: 7 As this is my first review, I decided to pick a small show that wouldn't be very difficult to explain. It isn't going to waste your time, but the one thing that it will do is make you think about it until you find the next anime series! Overall, it does what it's supposed to, so it isn't bad!
“This says a lot about society”. That's what my meme-loving side would love to say, but it seems, MAL does not allow for short reviews so I'll have to stall, or write an informative, distinctive essay. Take it as you will. I remember back in the day, I wanted to practice my writing skills, and as I was heavy on Anime even back then, I thought I could review every Anime I watched, and thus, win both the entertainment that comes with watching an Anime and the skills that develop after writing countless reviews left and right. That was 3 to 4 years ago, and alot changed during that time. I had this ONA scheduled for a review along with several other shorts, but it seems, for some reason, I ended up sleeping on it all of these years, until now. I think I would have tried to buy as much effort as possible, milking every drop of vocabulary I had ta the time, trying to create a meaningful review that breaks beyond the shallow backgrounds of the reviewed entries, but not anymore. “001” is a shitpost. The more I look at them, the more apparent it becomes as if an aspiring animator had his practicing samples leaked by somebody, and this one in particular, while not the absolute worst, it stands for an impressive display of basic animation techniques from a beginner's stand of point, and I'm no expert, but I can tell random scribbles from a Mona Lisa. Maybe the artist intended to deliver some kind of hidden message in all of that pixel real estate, an unknown figure crashing into what looks like a windshield only to be washed off seconds later, having his or her skin removed layer by layer, and off he or she went with the rest of rainwater. That can stand for an analogy about life, as the dripping rainwater is the time that passes the windshield is the a strong-willed person that runs through, discarding any fake friends (The figure that comes crashing the windshield) even if it was just a reoccurring pattern that never turns for the better.
I´m amazed this has a low score, no matter how you look at it, all I see is a deep, philosophical animation about the harshness of daily life, in which the main character is trapped in a never-ending loop, that we call life. Story: 30 seconds of animation changed my way of looking at life, I´ll rate this 11/10 if possible. Art: The dark traces contrast the empty-white backround, making an outstanding piece of art. Sound: I don´t know who did the voice acting, but you can tell he is a pro. The way they changed the screams every time the loops repeated means that even though it´srepeating, the people were not the same as before, they are evolving. Character: You don´t know the names, the roles of the characters, but somehow you can feel their pain, or better said, you feel identified with them. Enjoyment: 10, can´t you tell? Overall: Masterpiece, watch it and you´ll be a pro-otaku and your 2D waifus will become real.
Well, as this is a short animation, it is gonna be a cool short review too ! This animation is very misunderstood by some sort of bullsh1t dark humor short when its not it, if you pay enough attention you will see that what the car "runs over" actually falls into it, and if you look frame by frame or just pay a bit more attention, you will realize it falls like a baby and ends up "aging" as the animation goes on. So with that in mind, the meaning to this is probably show that life passes to everyone like a car ina rainy day. The animation quality is not the great, more effort could have been invested on it, as for some poeple i believe was a huge red flag for calling it a bad anime, the sound is good, you can understand what is going one, character ? not much to it, and overall a 4/5 is fair, as it is just a short not really a series, so you cant take it as serious.
When I first watched this years ago, I gave this ONA a 5 out of 10 since it was just 37 seconds of a windshield wiper of a car. But after rewatching and reading some of the reviews I decided to bring it up one score. The fact it's supposed to represent a drunk driver and the effects of driving drunk makes it easier to understand the message of this short animation. The audio is pretty fun with it repeating over and over while the face gets wiped over and over as well. I'm not sure if I would recommend this to anyone nor wouldI be confident that people would watch it anyway.
001 is a bold statement about the shortness and absurdity of life, which is realised masterfully by the use of increasingly comedic sound effects attached to the comparably dark theme of pedestrians being run over in front of your eyes, as the driver merely keeps ploughing through. In other words, Okuda is saying that for one to adequately appreciate life, one must see fate's often wry sense of humour. Art-wise, this piece is distinctly average, the slight jitter and wobble in animation is appreciated, but overall it is nothing memorable. This being said, the angle of the video and simplistic style adds to the video byinstilling an air of unimpressed normality that finds itself in stark dichotomy to both the dark theme and hilarious sound effects. On the sound effects, they are what make this short video, as they are the main vehicle used by Okuda in building up that stark contrast that is the heart of this piece. Overall, this video is able to be profound despite its simple style, unimaginative name and minuscule run time, this beautiful juxtaposition here is enough for me to recommend this short video to you. It is well suited to one or two re-watches and a bit of rumination.
Man, was this a funny watch. I'm going to crack some jokes throughout this review, but overall, I'm going to keep it as an actual review. Story- Man what a great story. A person running multiple others over. All jokes aside, basically no story. Like absolutely none. Art- A literal masterpiece. Mostly just sketches.Sound- Weird sounds when he hits the people, a little funny. Character- Just a person running over some people, just your average person. Enjoyment- As bad as this short was, it was actually a funny little watch, Overall- Bad, yet funny. Did a good job for what it is.
001 Rating: 3/10 001 is a short, experimental animation made by a creator named Masaki Okuda while he was studying in school. It's a bit like watching a doodle or a rough drawing come to life, but it’s hard to understand and doesn’t tell a clear story. Here’s why it’s not the best: Animation: 1/2 The way 001 looks can be a little messy. It’s like watching sketches or rough drawings move around, but they don’t flow smoothly. Some parts are interesting, but it feels unfinished, like it was missing the final touches to make it better. It’s creative, but not the most fun to watch. Sound: 0/2 The sound isthe weakest part. You either don’t hear much, or what’s there doesn’t really fit with what’s happening on screen. It’s like watching a movie without the right music or sound effects—something’s missing, and it makes the whole thing less exciting or fun. Characters: 1/2 The characters in 001 aren’t really like the ones you’re used to. They aren’t very detailed, and it’s hard to understand who they are or what they want. It’s more like watching shapes or ideas of characters rather than actual people or animals. Because of this, it’s hard to care about what’s happening to them. Plot: 1/2 There isn’t a clear story in 001. It doesn’t have a beginning, middle, and end like most shows or movies. It’s more like random things happening, and it’s tough to figure out what it all means. Without a story to follow, it’s easy to get confused and lose interest. Conclusion: 001 tries to do something different and creative, but it doesn’t do a great job. The drawings are okay but not smooth, the sound is almost nonexistent, the characters are hard to understand, and there’s no real story to follow. If you like watching strange and artsy stuff, you might enjoy it, but most people, especially kids, will probably find it confusing and not very fun.
I exhaled from the nose twice. ... that's it that's the review, or at least that's what I would've liked to be, but MAL has a minimum character requirement, so I think I could give a couple more words to this 40 seconds animation. Story 1 There is no story, it's just a simple animation. Art 5 Probably the "stand out" part of this animation, simple and clean.Sound 3 Funny stock sfx. Character 1 SPOILERS There is the protagonist, who probably got isekaied to a better world after the events of this animation. I don't know if the looping animation represents different people or it's just the same unluky dude, but if you're really trying to find something deeper from this animation, then I think you should stop. Enjoyment 4 "I exhaled from the nose twice." - JSmash_Salted, 2021
MAL ratings do sound questionable half of the time. I agree with others when they point out that this title isn’t exactly a 1 (Appalling). Can a few minutes of almost seemingly random animation with a plot that’s not as clear be Appalling? To me it deserves a 5 for Average/Mediocre. It’s not bad in a sense, but to me I wasn’t able to grasp the point of this. Maybe if I take more time or if I look into it deeper, I might get an understanding of this but the number of times I hit that replay button did not expand my understanding of thiswork at all. A 5 for effort and the initial idea behind it. A 5 for the execution and the lack of clarity in the final product.
This is by far one of the greatest shows I have ever witnessed. My favorite quality about it is that it allows the viewer to fill in their own details by being extremely simple. This way, you can't hate the show. Story - 10 As said, you can create your own story leading up to the events portrayed, and as such it can be perfect. 10/10 Art - 10 Again, as there is a lot left to the imagination, impossible to dislike. Sound - 9 This was one part that the anime portrayed fully in its own way, and while very good the fact that sounds produced by the samecharacter were different was somewhat unsettling. This may have been an artistic choice, however subjectively I have to deduct points for that. 9/10 Character - 8 Unfortunately the weakest part, all the characters essentially did the same thing. However, since there is no backstory or personality, you can invent your own leading to almost perfect characters. 8/10 Enjoyment - 10 I enjoyed this more than every single anime produced by A-1 Pictures, and being only 37 seconds there is absolutely no filler. 10/10 Overall - 10 Nothing can come closer to being the perfect anime.
POV: you came from mal-badge. This anime is where the mc drives in the middle of a rain and he wipes off the rain in his windshield and after a few seconds people's faces starts to stick to his windshield and he just wipes it off and the cycle repeats. I like the animation even though its just practice and I like the sounds effects specially the screams lol. It has true meaning like the most helpful review here said, You can ignore everything if your drunk because you will eliminate your obstacles who is in your way whatever it is. I just came from malbadges so don't roast this review.
Dude this thing is a modern masterpiece I am sooo happy that I am alive to see this Masterpiece I believe everyone should give this a watch at least once in their lives ( IT’S THAT GOOD ) It is definitely a 10/10 DUDE JUST ON AHEAD AND WATCH THIS THINGGO ON GIVE IT A TRY, I KNOW YOU WANNA DO IT. In all seriousness what the hell was this thing. It was just a person getting squashed every 2 seconds and making a different sound every time ? Anyways the sound effects were the only thing it had going for itself And obviously this review was meant to be a joke so don’t think this thing is actually a masterpiece
What is there to say about this masterpiece that hasn't already been said. It leaps beyond the bounds of human creativity. Dare I say that this is the 8th wonder of the world. I loved this title so much that I watched it 69 times. Not 68. Not 70. I made a pact with God that would allow me to slay all my enemies if I watched this glorious anime 69 times. It was hard, but I did it. Story: Exquisite. 10 (Outstanding) Art: Sakuga. 10 (Outstanding) Sound: Breathtaking. 10 (Outstanding) Characters: Phenomenal. 10 (Outstanding)Enjoyment: Edge of my seat. (Outstanding) Final Score: 5 I don't know any of the history behind whatever this is or why it is even on MAL. All I know is that I watched it. Frankly... I watched it for an achievement. It's not worth watching for much else.
Greatest anime ever created 10/10. 001 > your top anime Story- 10/10 The story is what drew me into this fantastic series & couldn't believe it ended so uppruply with a bittersweet ending that will give you nostalgia everytime you come back to this anime. Art- 10/10 The art style was really beautiful & truly magnificent with how the visuals make you feel like you were there. Music/sound- 10/10 One of the more emotional type sounds that will make you think back to your younger & innocent days as a child & couldn't ask for more with how it fit so well with the plot & how barrack obama & donaldtrump came together in harmony to stop the alien invasion & when that soundtrack started playing i almost cried. Overall- 10/10 You have to see it for yourself it was truly a great experience
After watching it I felt like the story was supposed to take the viewer on a trip but it kind of just felt as if I was watching a driver drive and all the thoughts that run through my head while trying to kill time waiting to get to my destination. It was interesting. The images made me think of when I would go to school or go to the store in the car, It was simple, and yet I was still intrigued by it. There wasn't any real characters other than the driver, and even that can be debatable. Other than that it wasa nice and relaxing watch and its really short almost like watching a long commercial so I say it can't hurt to watch.
