Botan Ichige's lifelong dream is to enjoy a tea party with angelic girls. When she enrolls at St. Asmaria All-Girls School with her best friend Shinobu Itoko, it begins to feel like her dream could become reality. Suddenly, an angel appears in their midst. Calling herself Un, the strange girl offers the duo her halo to eat. However, consuming the halo causes Botan and Shinobu to spontaneously "conceive" and "give birth" to colorful mushroom-shaped objects. Feeling out of sorts due to the lewd action she is forced to endure, Botan cheers up when Un says that her wish will come true if she can lay one hundred thousand "eggs." Spurred on by Un's words, Botan's struggles to achieve her dream have only just started. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Looking at the MAL page for Tenshi no Drop (Angel's Drop) and by reading the synopsis, one may believe this is just a short special about Loli-angels being cute, eating sweets, and fondling each other, and although some screen time is indeed spent in showing such activities, the bulk of this special will inevitably, more or less, blow your mind away, and forcibly pull the incredulous viewer through a sequence of baffling gags that may leave a sane individual either wondering about the mind which created this piece of animation, or cuddling up under his/her bed in paranoia. There is not much to say about Angel'sDrop, partly because it clocks at under five minutes total of screen time (if you exclude the ending credits), and partly because honestly, spoiling anything about what happens would hurt the overall experience - and in any case, there is no actual depth to its components that needs critical analysis. Experience this at your risk, as I cannot assure you are going to enjoy this special, as it contains some of the weirdest and creepiest humour I've ever witnessed.
NANDA KORE WAAA!!!!! IIEEEEEEE!!!! This might be without exaggeration, the worst anime I've ever seen. I rated this a 1 because MAL won't allow me to use negative numbers. This is a 5 minute anime short that is supposed to be about "cute girls doing cute things". I'm not going to describe what happens, because that would spoil the fun. Just know that the plot is something that would etched onto the walls of an insane asylum in an HP Lovecraft story. This anime is considered torture in over 200 nations and screening it is banned by the Geneva convention. It's only 5 minutes and Ifelt like Alex DeLarge in A Clockwork Orange. This is objectively worse than Mars of Destruction. It's worse than Garzey's Wing. It's worse than Savior of the Earth and Space Thunder Kids. Why was this made? HOW was this made? How did human beings sit down and decide to create this thing, then other humans greenlit the production, and still more people voluntarily agreed to animate it and provide voice acting? With the shittiest video games like Big Rigs and Black Tiger, I understand why they did it. They wanted to make some quick money off of stupid people that they could trick into buying an inferior product made with zero effort and released in pre-alpha state. Angel's Drop is bad in a way that transcends human comprehension.
*Imagining something very bizarre* You think "It must be very funny, haha lol", right? "wow, look at this anime, I think it's cool" and then... "Oh my god, why I watched this?" A 5min animation, but why...? Simply two perverted lolis, wanting a harem, after this, an other loli literally falls from the ceiling, She has candies, do you know what happens if you eat them? You start to shit the egg without stopping, It's really .... Why does this exist? I don't knowcertainly a Overall: 1/10 In those hours that he needed below-zero grades. If you liked this, please, re-view your human concepts... Mean score of this is: 3.86, Super deserved btw. Story: Pathetic Art: Poor Sound: Fair Character: Pathetic Enhoyment: Pathetic
Well... that was... stupid. Not that i was expecting anything out of it considering it's score on this website. Story (1/10): There is absolutely no story. Just a bunch of random crap happens. I was completely lost from start to finish. Art (6/10): The art is actually decent. It isn't anything special and isn't incredibly well animated, but it actually doesn't look too bad. Sound (4/10): Nothing special here either. Nothing good, but nothing completely abysmal. Character (1/10): Do the characters have names? I don't even remember to be honest. These are some of the weakest characters you will ever see. They just did random crap for five minutesand had zero development or likability. Enjoyment (2/10): I'm being nice by giving this category a 2/10. It wasn't funny or interesting. I guess I chuckled at the fact I wasted five minutes of my life. Overall (1.3/10): I'm sure there is worse out there, but that was pretty bad. I give it some points for having decent art, but that's about it. At least it's short? Glasslip feels like a good anime now.
Seeing this anime have a score of just 4.25 and being just 5 minutes long, I thought to myself, "it can't hurt to watch just 5 minutes". And boy oh boy was I in for a treat. Tenshi no Drop doesn't really have a story, but that doesn't matter. In these 5 minutes of screentime that you will have, you will find yourself laughing at the hilarity which will ensue. Why it's rated so low, I do not know. This is 5 minutes of comedy. And then again, it's not like much time has been wasted watching this show. I personally love it, and if you'rewondering whether or not to watch it, all I say is this: It's 5 minutes. What's the harm?
In almost all categories you would score an anime; Story, Art, Characters etc., this anime deserves a 1. It could be argued MAL should implement a scoring system below a 1 for reviewing this anime and this anime alone. Overall however, this is an absolute 10/10 and must see for any anime fan. Clocking in at only 5 minutes, it's easily worth the time investment. I can promise you with absolute certainty you would be hard pressed to find another 5 minutes of media that can incite so much emotion in you as this masterpiece. It may be laughter, it may be anger. It might be fear,or it might be disgust. It might be a whole myriad of emotions, but one way or another you are sure to feel very strongly about this work after viewing it. 10/10 would recommend and was moved.
DISCLAIMER: This anime isn't for every one, it's one of those it's so weird it CAN be funny. So i'm not gonna lie the story is shit and the characters too, but it's so weird it's actually pretty funny IF you like really absurd humor. So if you enjoy things that are weird and kinda over the top. This might be something for you. Also there is no theme song or anything like that, but overall the sound is alright and fits pretty good with the animation style and the animation is about average. So if you enjoy weird shit from japan try it, but don't blame me afterwards.
This was a truly eye opening anime. I thought it was an experience from start to finish. I don't know how to convey my feelings towards this show. If I had to describe it with a word, it would be extraordinary.. I hope you get the gist of what I am trying to say here. The story was very difficult to understand. Not exactly a normal anime, but what else can you expect from something I am rating "masterpiece".. The art was unironically pleasant, easy to look at, and better than a lot of the popular shows. The sound was fine, voice acting was as good as itcould get, I suppose. The characters were.. interesting. At the start, I thought the red haired girl was a bit odd, but by the end, she was very normal in comparison to the girl that fell through the ceiling. My enjoyment of the show..? I think that's irrelevant.. Overall.. I said it before, and I will say it again... it was an experience. I rate 10/10, therefore, I r8 8/8, this review is also not b8, m8, so please no h8. I would appreci-8 it.
This genuinely made me laugh. I don't know what the others were expecting out of this before watching it, but this anime absolutely does not deserve a 3.72 score and 3 of its top rated reviews being 1/10. I thought it was gonna be shit, but it ended up being a good, entertaining short. It's absurd, vulgar and stupid, but in a funny way. Give it a try. It's only 5 minutes, so even if you end up disliking it, it won't be much of a loss. Also, TIL MAL has a really annoying minimum word limit. There's only so much you can say about a5 min short without spoiling it.
Listen this is not a Joke but i put 10/10 but because i want everyone to understand this is not how make example and we need stupid shit like this to remind of what is good. I'm not even going to justify the bullet points because we all know whats wrong with it and if you legit like it your fucking dumb. If something as bad as this can exist the idk why people hate on shonen. Seriously this shit had a manga and some actually took the time to animate it and get voice actors to do it. ( the poor souls whomost like forced at gunpoint to voice act for this bull shit) Story: LOL - 1/10 Art: Not bad tbh - 4/10 Music: Blek - 1/10 Character: LOL - 1/10 Enjoyment: Fucking none. - 1/10 Overall: Don't watch this shit - 1/10 Watch This show to make your current animes much better
Well that was... a thing. It was a thing right? I'm pretty sure it was a thing, not an amazing thing but it wasn't the worst thing that I have ever seen. I could never see this turning into a full series, the premise is just too stupid to make anybody want a sequel episode to this. But as I said it wasn't the worst thing I've seen. Anime like Skelter Heaven even out stay their welcome even at the short 14 minute time. Tenshi no Drop is only 5 minutes long and it's not the least visually pleasing series on the planet. In fact thevisuals, and by that I mean the art style is done in this stereotypical shojo style using a more moe character design. The animation is very fluid (no pun intended) and it's kind of sad that this amount of effort went into a series that is so filled to the brim with bad and horribly obvious jokes. So what are the characters. A "proper" girl who doesn't like what's happening to her named Botan (the only reason I remember this is because they say her name like 20 times in 5 minutes). A perverted red head. An angel. A girl who may or may not have a rapeplay fetish. And the other girl with nothing special about her. It's too many characters for a single 5 minute episode without a sequel. The story is also non existent, i mean we have 5 minutes so that's forgivable. Though it seemed to try to tell a story which it told very poorly. I mean this seems like some sort of independent anime that had a decent animation budget and a development team of people constantly tripping balls, but that's what made it enjoyable for me, the plot is so stupid that it makes you think that the people behind it didn't want you to take it seriously. I mean who would write a 5 minute skit about little girls giving birth to giant colorful mushrooms (not hentai) and expect another human being to take it seriously as a work of art. It's like expecting somebody to take the entirety of Pani Poni Dash seriously, though Pani Poni Dash is a well written balls to the walls comedy, and Tenshi no Drop is not. So after all that I really did enjoy this, as a sort of guilty pleasure. That just means that I can see that everything is wrong with this series's plot and move on. Age Rating: 17+, for adult themes used in jokes such as rape and childbirth (god that sounded better in my head than out loud) Overall Rating: 3/10 The art is decent enough and the music isn't bad, just cliched.
Not much could be said about this anime special except for the following words, and excuse my coarse language but when it comes to crap like this it has to be said: What... in... the actual... motherfuck... did I just watch? So basically I was just watching anime fight scenes on YT and in the related search column i found a video called "THE MOST F*CKED UP ANIME YOU'LL EVER SEE". I couldn't help but check it out, mainly because I've never really seen a fucked up anime (not that I ever wanted to), and unsurprisingly, Tenshi no Drop is indeed very fucked up. As I waswatching this piece of hard-on crap, I just sat there thinking who in their hellish left mind created this. The anime is hit with strange, random, and subtle adult jokes involving rape, pregnancy, and... peeing, which was just incredibly creepy and unfunny. After watching the entire thing, I just realized that I wasted 5 minutes of my life. I'm a huge anime fan and I've seen anime that are complete knockouts, but when it comes to crap like this, I sometimes question Japanese culture when it comes to television, wondering if I can get my own show if I send a piece of shit to any TV corporation.
W... Why? Is this the kind of humour lolicons are into? Is the original manga also this incomprehensible? I just don't understand. So, this anime is 5 minutes of small girls making weird sexual jokes and pissing candy. One of them might be an angel... Or something, as she grows candy on her head and makes other girls piss candy. Or lay candy as eggs? They can't seem to decide which one it is. There's also little to not logical connection between the scenes, or any way to truly decipher what is happening. The fanservice is more in dialogue than visual, so at least it's not assoul-rending as it could've been. It's not the anime equivalent of Cuties... It will both gross you out and confuse you to the extreme though. Approach at your own risk.
I first came across this shit when I was ten. TEN. I was on YouTube one night and I came across it in my recommended for whatever reason, decided to watch it, and soon realised the grave, grave mistake I'd made. Five years later, I watched it again, the exact same video I watched all those years ago. I didn't remember the exact content, in fact I didn't know what an ahegao was back then, but re-watching it now has made me really how truly grotesque this is. End of Evangelion doesn't hold a CANDLE to how sick Tenshi no Drop made me feel. The storyis that some girl wants a tea party, she's isekaied to, I guess heaven, (it might as well be hell) or some bullshit? She eats candied piss and proceeds to give birth to candy, and then at the end, some other random girl pisses on the floor. What. A. Plot. You feel every single second scrape by when you watch this and I'd give this a negative 10 if I could. I don't think I've seen anything worse than this pedo bullshit and I feel sorry for any other poor sod out there who witnessed this.
Well, gosh. This was painful to watch. I'm really glad this was only 5 minutes, because even just that 5 minutes was almost unbearable to sit through. The characters are annoying, but on top of this, they're written nonsensically. The story consists of one random gag after the next, to the point where it's almost impossible to follow what's going on, and even if you could, I don't think you would want to. Each gag is meant to gross-out the viewer and give a certain amount of shock value (since these are cute little girls doing and saying these kind of things), however, this aspect isn'teven well done, and just feels overly forced. In the end, the gags end up just being gross instead of funny whatsoever, so it's just painful to sit through Music is unremarkable and sounds like it was cheaply produced, inoffensive but unmemorable. Voice acting is poor, with generic high-pitched "cute girl" voices that are grating to listen to. The art style wasn't very good, and is what you'd expect from a generic "cute girl" anime. Bright colors, weirdly proportioned bodies, dull backgrounds. However... I will say this... it was at least animated adequately. For that, it gets +1 point from me, but... overall, that's not nearly enough to salvage the rest of it, and I would say anybody and everybody should just avoid this travesty altogether. It's not even good for a laugh.
I loved it It's one of those that're so retarded and bad, you wouldn't watch them if you came across them by yourself but you watch them with friends to have a good time. The art is pretty cute so it's not a terrible thing to look at (except for the weird stuff happening) and it's very short so you don't feel like you wasted any more time than you probably would've watching another Dragon Ball filler episode. All in all, it's a nice thing to watch with drunk friends, or friends who aren't into anime, because if we're all so confused/disgusted/whatever by it, canyou imagine the look on their faces? PS: I was expecting a lot more messed up stuff from all I heard about this, but it actually wasn't too disgusting. Nice time waster. Had a good time laughing.
I'm not quite sure why this show exists, in fact I'm not quite sure who this show is for. It's only five minutes, has only one episode, contains no real plot, has a really sick sense of humor, and has some really bland moe girls. I'm sure this was meant for someone out there, even if it's only the person who came up with this, but then again that would mean someone out there would enjoy this. It's certainly fun to laugh at though, and if you are in that camp then you can certainly find more enjoyment in this that in something like Mars of Destruction. The jokes in this one are so surreal and insensible that it's hard not to laugh at it, and that's at it not with it. You really can't even review this short, it's something you just have to go and see yourself, just don't go in it alone I suppose, double the points if you see it while high; I'm sure the people behinds this were on something during the making of.
Someone told me Angel's Drop was terrible, and that they try to convince their unsuspecting friends to watch it so they can suffer too. Since I'm a curious little moron, I thought "it's only 5 minutes long, let's go!" I watched it and my mind feels violated. Since it's so short, I can't tell you much about it that wouldn't spoil it. There's not much to spoil. It's like if I showed you a piece of candy. You wouldn't know what the candy tasted like or what would happen until you eat the candy and experience it, for good or ill. Also, I'm afraid to describe whatI've seen. I'd rather describe the first episode of Goblin Slayer in excruciating detail. It's the most existential anime I've ever seen. Evangelion? Forget it. Ghost in The Shell? Sunday school. Cat Soup? Okay no one really knows what happened in that one. Well, Angel's Drop blows them all out of the water. When it's over, you'll question who you are, what life choices led you to this point, why someone made this, and if humanity is worth saving. Religious people became atheists after watching this, thinking God had abandoned them, while atheists turned back to God because they sought the mercy of a deity to forgive them for watching this. I recommend the Nora, the Elder God Meme Waifu from the "bad" anime Twinkle Nora Rock Me. So -9/10 for this anime, and 10/10 for tricking people into watching it so they can understand your suffering and trauma. Average that and Angel's Drop gets 1/10.
Summary (to be honest, I have no idea what was going on for most of the 5 minutes but here's what I understood): A girl who has a dream of having a tea party with angels walk to school and is turned on by her classmate. After that, they found their new room with a floor made of extremely fragile wooden planks and of course, they fall through it. The girl in the floor above also falls through the floor and apparently was not wearing any underwear. That girl turns out to be an angel that distributes some drug that makes you urinate candies andin order to reach her dream, she has to urinate 100,000 candies. Story: What can I say? Masterpiece (1/10) Art: Certainly not horrible (4/10) Sound: Okay soundtrack - I don't see how you can go wrong with the soundtrack anyway. (5/10) Character: Simply amazing (1/10) Enjoyment: Best thing ever (1/10) Overall: This anime portrays brilliantly written characters who should be role models for every children on this planet. The message conveyed in this short, yet meaningful 5 minutes is very clear: you must urinate 100,000 sweets in order to reach your dreams. 1/10
