The anime will feature an original story from the game on which it is based.

The anime for Ozmafia!! is...alright. It's not the best as it doesn't really have a story that's going somewhere but if you've played the game I think it becomes more enjoyable. I really liked the game so the anime is a nice icing on the cake but if it were a stand alone thing, it wouldn't really be that good and the ratings for everything but the story would probably be lower. As I already have background on the characters and general story I really enjoyed seeing them in this way and hearing the music that I loved from the game.
Have you ever had wet dreams about The Wizard of Oz? Have you wondered what would happen if the Scarecrow, the Timan and the Cowardly Lion were bishies that acted nothing like they did in the book or the movie? And, have you ever wanted to get essentially sold off to a brothel by the Scarecrow, where you become so addicted to the prostitutes that you go to get your insides pummelled by them everyday, making you their best customer and they form such a bondwithyouthattheydecidetoforcemindalteringdrugsuponyouandmakethewholeworldthinkyou'redeadsothattheycanuseyouasasexslavefortherestofyourlife?? If you've ever wanted those things, go play the original game, don't watch this spinoff aimed towards children.
In the middle of watching the third episode, I was about to drop this animation already. However, I told myself to just try to finish. And here I am regretting that decision because it feels like I am wasting my time by watching this art of a mess... First of all, there is literally no plot. Seriously, there is no plot, no build-up, no climax and no ending that wrap the complexity of a story. Too bad because the story has a good introduction. But, this is a big no-no for me! There is no point of showing each character and introducing new characters in differentepisodes. The only good thing about this anime is the fact that each episode lasts about four minutes already. So I did not have to force huge boredom into my head that much. The art is cute. However, it was quite hard to watch because characters look the same despite the difference in age. Still cannot believe the headmaster literally looks like he is younger than the main character. Oh, the characterisation of each character was THAT bad. Worth the watch? No... Warned you already.
Ok so being a fan of the original game I thought that an anime for this series would be great, to get more people into it. The game was originally an otome game so it's not too hard to follow the main plot of the story. This was such a mess... I can't express how disappointed I was when I first watched this. The story is very different from the plot of the man game which was kinda straight forward so I don't know how this mess was made. Even going in with an open mind just the story they used in the anime wasweak and basic. A positive is that the colours are nice and are kinda cool because the game uses lots of colours, but everything else is bad. I would honestly just suggest playing the game. It's so much better, you can play it on steam in English.
This anime deserves more than it's worth, however, it was let down by how random it was. Otome games are very rare for me to enjoy, too. To get the point across: this is a skit, a parody. It's supposed to be senseless and wacky and I have no idea why it isn't tagged as such. Those kinds of shows are supposed to do that. Even with this lack of story that people are so calling it out to be, there actually is more plot than there is in Teekyuu; that's saying something considering it has a multitude of sequels and that the show is heavily rushedand fast-paced and acts like it's on drugs. Ozmafia, however, actually does the plot decent enough for its type of anime, yet still falls behind with the rest. Never compare this to psychological, even general comedy anime, because of course, it looks terrible compared to that. Judge it as a short parody and you'll actually understand that the show isn't that mediocre as so many people are saying from these ratings. It's a weird way to introduce characters for 3 minutes, but that small ending screen is pretty nice. There's also extra content after the credits. 4 is a stable score where it should belong and the anime doesn't work well when watching all of the episodes together, so I'd suggest giving a break per episode if you want to try and enjoy it. If you want a good anime of this similarity, definitely watch Senyuu instead.
