This was a very simple anime to get into and follow. The story follows a strong female lead, Qian Yunxi, who is confident but can be abrasive at times. She has many hidden talents that make you continually interested in her character as you don’t know what to expect. The male lead, Lord Ye, is rather cold and domineering. The dynamic between these two comes down to a lot of power play. Over the course of the show, the two become quite endearing and it becomes easy to attain a soft spot for the relationship and romance they build through their constant bickering. The plot isvery straightforward. The theme for each episode felt repetitive in which Qian Yunxi becomes rebellious and creates a scene but things end up working in her favor. Even though this was the case, each situation was different and drove the story forward. New characters were able to be introduced and the drama kept you drawn in. There was not a lot of representation of each character’s past, they hinted here and there, but it seems that further plot depth is to come as the series ends with an expectation of a second season. I really enjoy Chinese animation and art. Personally I found the characters and scenery to be beautifully drawn. The palette chosen created a light-hearted and sensitive tone. The action scenes felt rhythmic and aesthetic. The anime has a good balance of comedy that doesn’t seem forced or over the top. Overall, this was an easy anime to sit back and casually watch without requiring too much mental energy.
This anime has surprised me on many levels with the reviews it has received after watching it. It DOES not at all live up to those exceptions. I've tried again and again to push through the series hoping to be blown away, wanting to stop after episode 2. Story: Starting off this series, it wasn't at all bad and it pleased me to see some old Imperial Chinese history in a fictional setting. I was really hopeful, but merely after episode 2 it quickly becomes generic. The story doesn't provide much detail, depth, or really any interesting development. I'm a big sucker for Romance andcomedy, but no real emotion can be felt and most of the "haha" moments fall flat on their face. And the plot holes just tie everything nicely together. (3/10) Art+Sound: Generic for an anime. Visually bland at some points but nothing too much to complain about. (6/10) Characters: Uninteresting and generic. Yunxi was pretty cool to watch but really nothing extra ordinary. (5/10) Enjoyment: Outside of episodes 1 & 2, didn't really enjoy this series. Had high hopes but it just didn't have a good story nor delivered any interesting romance or funny comedy. Of course starting off it was a bit off putting hearing Chinese dub after watching hours and hours of Japanese dubbed anime, but I came to enjoy it. (2/10) Overall: Not an anime I recommend you watching if you're someone looking for an anime you'll remember and truly cherish or with a depthful storyline and characters. This doesn't mean at all that objectively this anime is bad, some people might like it, but don't go in with high hopes. (3/10)
STORY: 8/10 The story isn't anything new in Chinese media, but I thought the overall plot execution and characters were really enjoyable to watch. The supernatural elements of the story were also a welcomed twist. The series length was unfortunately too short to fully develop the story in all aspects, but it was still compelling enough for me to keep watching to completion. Overall, Tong Ling Fei does a fairly good job balancing action, drama, comedy, and romance. ART: 7/10 The art style is generic, but decent and it suits the story's overall tone (themes aren't as heavy as in josei stories). The style kind of reminds meof early 2000s anime for some reason. Animation can get choppy at some parts, but overall it's good enough. SOUND: 8/10 You'll either hate or love the opening song, but you'll definitely remember it. OST is pretty good and versatile for different moods. I thought the voice actors did a good job of adapting their acting to different moods as well. CHARACTER: 8/10 I thought the leading and supporting cast were really fun to watch even if they easily fall into stereotypes. The ghost buddies the female lead has are pretty cute, but too bad they didn't really have significant moments to shine in the series. The female lead is confident and independent. Seeing her stand up for herself is really satisfying to watch, especially when so many people are working against her. I like her "I don't give a crap" attitude when it comes to playing along with politics and hierarchy. I also like that she doesn't fall all over the male lead, and rightly so. He honestly didn't treat her that well initially for her to develop any affection for him. Male lead isn't really a character type I like. He's cold, arrogant, and possessive. He has his better moments, but I disliked how he tried to force his feelings on the female lead. I suppose it's in character with his arrogant and prideful personality. He gets better near the end of the series when he starts getting more protective and affectionate toward the female lead. ENJOYMENT: 8/10 While the story isn't anything new, I still thought the overall execution was good and the characters were really fun to watch. I hope they make a season 2 so the plot can be further explored. I felt like the real overarching plot was just starting when the series concluded on a cliffhanger.
As a huge fan of historical dramas, romantic anime and supernatural stories, I definitely could not pass by this anime, which promised me a mixture of all these genres. Animation also caught my eye. However, after a few episodes I got conflicting feelings about this show. To start with, I should say that Tong Ling Fei is definitely enjoyable and easy to follow. I do not regret spending an evening with it, though the show has a whole bunch of significant drawbacks. Nevertheless, I will not put it a high grade for the reasons I explain below. To watch or not to watch – itis up to you. If you expect something really cool and exciting or if you are looking for a serious title with a great twisted plot and lively characters, I guess you should try something else. If you are searching for something simple and lovely just to relax after a long day, probably, this anime is for you. The plot is very simple and predictable. In the best moments of this anime the story reminds of an old fairy tale like 1001 Nights or a Disney princess movie – you know, where the plot goes, but you still enjoy it. However, the weaker parts of the series are childish and boring. The main action starts approximately in episode 10. The majority of the series introduces us personages and demonstrates main heroine’s character. The characters’ personalities are very confined and stereotyped. All personages of this anime are either kind or evil, moreover, each of them (except for the main heroine) has only one personal trait and behavioral pattern. Male characters disappointed me most. They have charisma of a cardboard box and emotional spectrum of a spoon. Hence, the romantic component is rather weak in this show. The male lead’s relationships with his love interest are merely shown, so all potential drama of the love triangle is killed from the very beginning. It is very sad, because Qian Yunxi’s rival in love could make the whole story much more exciting (like it happens in Palace/Goong – dorama with the similar setting). Although Lord Ye’s actions and his growing attraction to Qian Yunxi look reasonable, his character is so poorly developed that you cannot empathize with him. The main heroine and her background are curious. Qian Yunxi is the only lively character of the series. She can be nice and mean, funny and serious, strong-willed and childish. Although, the way she interacts with male characters seems to me very artificial and illogical. I understand that the authors of this story tried to show us a strong woman, but why, why she has to literally fight every time to demonstrate her determined character and stubbornness? Not only does it spoil Qian Yunxi’s positive image, it also makes all relationships between the main heroine and the guys false and iterative. Because of it, I just cannot believe that almost every man falls in love with the female lead. Well, I suppose that there are a few worshipers of tsundere love style. But Qian Yunxi is never ‘dere’, she is only inadequately rude and physically cruel to her admirers. Romance doesn’t work this way. I see only two logical reasons for guys’ favourable reactions on Qian Yunxi’s violence: either Qian Yunxi is so good-looking that every man likes her from the first sight, or all guys have got brain concussion after those hits and have lost their minds for the rest of the series. Supernatural component of the story is pretty bad. It serves like deus ex machina in the plot twists and undervalues Qian Yunxi’s merits, because all hard work is done by the spirits. I think that the story would be better without these Disney-style ghost companions. Comedy is quite good here. There are some funny jokes, especially those with the references to the modern world. Plus I found a few hilarious animation failures. The animation is far from flawless, but, in general, it looks quite appealing. In conclusion, I would say that though the conception of Tong Ling Fei was very promising, realization turned out to be slightly above average. This show is still pleasant to see, but I doubt that you would ever want to see it again. I should also notice that for a Chinese anime Tong Ling Fei is very decent and demonstrates a rapid increase in quality of Chinese anime production. P.S.: I will not comment that psychedelic opening. You have to see that.
I decided to watch this anime because usually it is rare for a romance to have close to an 80% rating unless it is really good, but this show really disappointed me. The art style is beautiful, and I thought the plot was intriguing that being centered around a psychic woman who has to marry a Prince for her family. This is the typical and ideal fantasy for those of us who watch romance; girl marries "cold" prince, and he actually ends up being kind natured and loving and romance blossoms. Perfect. Well, this show is the exact opposite. I'm a sucker for the mean guyturns nice cliche, but the lead male MC - Prince Ye, is actually so heartless and rude it turned me off completely. I had to constantly remind myself that this show is set in a historical time period where women basically didn't have rights and men in positions of power were assholes who got whatever they wanted. But the whole point of this being a shoujo romance with fantasy elements, you would think it would be a fun romantic watch OR at least grow into that. But Prince Ye was rude, abusive, forceful and borderline narcissistic to the point where I didn't even want the lead girl to end up with him. Not to mention, the show mentions multiple times how the men, especially the princes, have mistresses and other women so it makes the romance feel flat. The show also plays at harem themes for the lead lady which I didn't prefer either for this plot, going into this show I thought the primary focus would be on the lead lady and male, regardless of if it was historical or not. Qian Yunxi was a decent lead. I liked how she was not a "woman of the times" and actually would stick up for herself. But other than that, the show doesn't delve too deep into her abilities like I would have hoped. She honestly had no personality outside of fighting and talking back - I feel like the creators would sometimes force this "I'm not a pushover" type of personality too much to make a point, but by them doing this over and over it makes you realize how crappy all the male characters are. Regardless she was my favorite character. The plot seemed to drag and drag, 11 episodes (out of a mere 16) in and the romance between the two leads is basically nonexistent. All you have are instances of Ye abusing Qian (making her sleep in a raggedy palace, making her sleep in a wood cabin, having his mistresses' maids abuse her, believing his mistress over her, etc.) and the princes discussing this upcoming tension between them and the west, but it is so vague you don't know what is going on until the show is practically over. It feels like majority of the show is just you watching Qian get into trouble and get abused. The other characters really aren't worth mentioning, I didn't like any of them. The only character I liked was Prince Yu (Ye's brother) he was actually sympathetic and funny at times. I found myself rooting for him to be with Qian, honestly. The show is alright. I think the harshness of the lead male MC turned me off a lot, the plot at certain points was very slow and wasn't interesting enough to really allow me to invest in the show, and the jokes fell most of the time - it just felt boring. This is nice as a quick watch, something to pass the time - but this isn't one of those romances that you need to see.
I definitely enjoyed that anime a lot! The female MC is smart, strong, talented and strong willed. No pushover for sure!! and I love my strong female MC'sto the story (also makes it funnier) and keeps u guessing what will happen in the next season! All in all the only thing I had to get used to it is....... watching in chinese instead of japanese xDD it's weird when u only understand nihao haha but other than that (and that wasn't bothersome) i can't say i idsliked anything^^ I recommend that anime if u love strong female leads, rom/coms and teh whoel enemies become lovers thing!!!!! <3
All around decent donghua that’s basically an amalgamation of a bunch of standard tropes for this genre. It was pretty funny, but had a ton of wasted potential and strange logic that really made me wonder why this one was chosen to be animated… I’ve read a ton of manhua from this time period with similar premises, and they were often better written and used the setting better, so it makes me wonder if this manhua was especially popular. Story 7/10: Like I said, the story follows many standard tropes for these types of stories. arranged marriage, gives-no-shits “kickass” protagonist, all the other female characters arerude except 1 maid/friend who’s all shy and stuff, and all the men are like “MC is not like the other girls… she’s so interesting”. Nevertheless, I was really excited going into the show because taoist powers aren’t usually a major part of these sorts of stories (usually just brought in as a quick solution fix, or as a “MC is the chosen one” sorta deal). Yunxi being psychic, as the title implies, was supposed to be a major focus of the story. Unfortunately, the protagonist’s psychic powers were… underwhelming. She only really used it to fix petty issues like not having a gift, or getting food, or revenge. It was upsetting, because if she has these powers and is always like “I’m not gonna take shit from anyone”, why doesn’t she use it? Instead, Yunxi’s powers only come out when they want her to appear badass, then she’s reduced back into the damsel-in-distress position. They hype her up as a martial artist, only to have her not be able to wrestle out of a man’s grasp. Wasted potential, honestly. I like the political undertones, but not much was actually done with it. If there’s a S2, I hope to see more. More of everything. Give Yunxi more power and autonomy, stop having her be forced into a victim’s role when she could probably beat up her entire family by the first episode.. Art 6/10: The art is pretty, especially the promotional art and key arts, but the animation within the show was pretty lacking. Of course, the CN animation landscape is less developed than the JP one, so I still think they did a good job with what they had. The frame rate seemed choppy at times, patterns on clothing were inconsistent and didn’t move how they should, sometimes a head turn would be drawn with 3 frames, and the backgrounds were mediocre. It was in no way BAD, but it was mediocre at best. I still enjoyed the character designs and such, and they managed to draw a horse better than I ever could. Expressions were a big thing, too. I adore how the characters expressed themselves, especially when they bent the artstyle to do so. Sound 6/10: What in the world is the opening?? I don’t think it’s as bad as others have claimed—just a strange decision… The sound track was kinda awkward. At one point they had an insert song, but I never felt that the scene was significant enough for an insert song. The regular soundtrack was unnotable, and if you asked me to hum an OST from this show I couldn’t. The voice acting was okay! Protag and ML + his bros had great voices and expressiveness. Some voices fell flat though. Character 6/10: Toooooooo inconsistent! The protag is always like “no way will I let them get away with that!” then barely takes action herself, always relying on the choices of others for her own success. In the end, she didn’t earn a single victory in the show for herself. It always relied on another person’s cooperation to work out. I wanted to root for her, I really did, but I noticed the pattern of 1. Yunxi says she’ll help others, or take action, 2. Yunxi’s original plan fails (usually for no reason, or she didn’t have a plan), 3. Another person (usually the male lead) saves her. It was infuriating. Again, she’s built up to be kickass, then can’t fight a handful of guards. Her power sways with her mood, it seems. The make lead is also infuriating. I get that his creepy actions are consistent with the times, but they could have given him one (1) redeeming quality by today’s standards. The two of them have no chemistry. At. All. I wasn’t rooting for any romantic relationship. The supporting cast are basically comedy, extra romantic rivals, or plot devices personified. Enjoyment 8/10: What? Me? Enjoyin something I think is objectively mediocre? More likely than you think. I admit, I’m a sucker for this genre. The episodes were funny, the time period hooked me. I watched all the way through, but alas, it’s an 8 Overall 6/10: Even if I enjoyed it, it’s overall a 6. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone I know. Best to binge it, definitely. No need to force yourself through the donghua if you try it and dislike it, because it’s not a show that gets better with time or anything. If you try it and like the setting, you can start reading other manhuas similar to this one, and you’ll probably find one that resonates with you more. Cheers
This was really fun to watch. I like hate to love romance. Interactions betwen FL and ML were funny. Also FL is strong, independent, capable of doing thing on her own (not some stupid crybaby). ML is manly, not naive,strong... i liked his character too. Some coments on ML are like.... he is practising abusive sexualized love behavior blah blah.... but i thing othervise cause FL is overal strong individual character whit a lot of pride, kind of tsundere and play hard to get so for me his behavior towards FL is maching to her type of personality. I am definitely looking towards 2nd season.
Overall: 6.5 / 10 Introduction: This is my first experience with an animation of Chinese origin so it is quite curious as well as disconcerting due to the cultural differences that can be observed between the animes and this adaptation as is the case. However, at the end of the day, it still has the same format as most Japanese works and they share the same sections, so let's analyze it: Story: 5 Actually the plot begins somewhat confusing if not starting from reading the synopsis, it would become somewhat strange, but the idea of the concept of the "despised daughter" that is used as an object of exchangefor the "family good" is understood and see how It is her new life as Emperor Ye's wife and the adversities it presents to her. For the rest, the story becomes more and more confusing about what we enter and does not leave a clear focus of what it is looking for, at times you think that you are seeing a romance without more, then we are seeing a Reverse Harem with the other princes, later they put martial arts and the appearance of demons (who never give a verdic example of why these existences or how our protagonist Qian learned to interact with them). In general, it seems to me that it is a good premise with a lot to exploit but the time assigned to broadcast is relatively short for the program and gives the feeling that everything leaves flavor to little and nothing, and more with an end so abrupt that neither at the end and at the end, it embodies nothing in concrete for the story and its descent Art: 8.5 / Sound: 5 The animation and the designs have enchanted me, it was really seen as a quality work in that sense and it was one of the reasons that made me want to continue the program. As for the sound, the most important thing I want to mark is how "weird" the Opening was for me, which I honestly didn't like and I feel that the program didn't require it but well, it's a matter of taste. Then both the Ending and the OST in general are fair / acceptable Characters: 6 Undoubtedly the cast of the main couple is what moves the program, since without more the rest of the cast passes a little without pain or glory, as soon as they take action on the matter and their appearances do not have much impact on the development of the couple , saving the hateful concubine who made life impossible for Qian there is not much more to highlight. Enjoy: 8 Well, some somewhat strange sensations leave the program because it is not the custom of the language or culture, but in general I am between satisfied and regular. The beginning was somewhat bland, until our protagonist began to interact with each other during the first chapters and then it was a bit more pleasant to see how both were attracted to the other. Even so, I feel that the program could give more and I repeat the idea that it leaves that unfinished ending with little flavor. This work ended in April 2019 so it does not mean that it is dead but it will have to be grasped between tweezers, whether it has a sequel or not since I do not know too much about the Chinese industry. for the rest it is nice as long as you don't have too many expectations in finding something very in-depth.
Fun chill chinese anime, that is a bit rough sometimes as is many chinese anime, however I just rewatched it and defenitely found it enjoyable. If you have seen other chinese anime its in the same vein as The Demonic King Who Chases His Wife (Xie Wang Zhui Qi), and a bit further away but still similar to Cinderella Shef(Meng Qi Shi Shen). Those 2 are probably betterish, although head to head I found Demonic king a bit more inconsistant, and its a lot more combat focused than Cinderella chef. The biggest problem for me, is the first episode. It drags a bit, and honestly onrewatch I just skip it. Honestly, if you were interested enough to read this and are looking for a show thats enjoyable but you might forget after a few weeks, look no further and you might as well just put on the first few episodes and see how ya like it.
This is definility on my list of guily pleasure animes. I binge watched it within 24 hour period and I'm hoping beyond hope that they'll continue with the series. The first 16 episodes are only just enough to introduce the characters and start building the world they live in. Leading the show is ,Qian Yunxi, a beautiful, intelligent and compassionate heroine who is skilled in martial arts and has a connection with the spiritual world. She is forced into a strategic arranged marriage to a Prince,Ye Youming. The story follows her trials and tribulations and love triangles (or maybe just totally one-way rejections!).In the backdrop, there is an oncoming political war over terriroty and a magical war over a powerful ring. There is just so much more this show has to offer... If you're going to watch it, skip the openings. Watch it at least once but then skip. Someone on acid must have made it. The music and the animation are so inconsistent with the show. It's just a wtf. I'm still not sure the translations were correct for the lyrics. I'm sure they can't be - ''carbohydrate overshoot'' anyone? They made a live series , Psychic Princess: Season 1 (2019) consisting of 52 1 minute episodes. I'm not going to watch as I'm going to hold out for a second season. As I said, it's not a masterpiece in art or music but it's the best guilty pleasure I have seen. If they don't make a season 2, I'm going to start a GoFund me for it.
Solid 8/10 nice change of pace. I found myself really enjoying it and couldn't stop myself from clicking the next episode unfortunately its left with really nice leads for a second season I doubt it will ever get, but even so I have no regrets watching it and would consider re-watching it in the future plus the prince is fantastic I love that the love plot is actually realistic even if nothing else in the show is if you like Chinese dramas I think you would definitely enjoy this! This may not have the most unique storyline but I enjoyed every second the art stylewas gorgeous and the main characters were given flaws as well as strengths so that's always a plus. Overall nothing to complain about except the no season two but such is the fate of so many great anime *sigh*
this is one of the best chinese anime i have watched for surethe name of the anime -.-|| ) i enjoyed this anime a lot and hope for a season 2
This is exactly what I needed! I binged it in a few hours and I'm so hooked! The storyline was interesting and keeps you rooting for our princess. I just wish we had more because I really need more! I loved the female lead she is cute, sassy and hilarious, she kicks lots of butt and there is never a dull moment. She just can't seem to keep herself out of trouble! I'm a Simp for our Prince he really grew on me! I fell involve with him instantly. I also liked his brother and his general. The Spirits are adorable! I definitely recommend! Itwas the perfect pick me up.
Expected nothing and enjoyed a lot. It is pretty mediocre in almost all aspects (animation, soundtrack, script, etc.), but if you just relax and let this anime entertain you - it will do its job prefectly. The MC is fun, very active and assertive, befriends ghosts and horses left and right. The main dude is the right type, possessive control freak, exactly what one would want from "enemies to lovers" plot. The story is simple and lighthearted, don't expect much of it, just a nice background for the romance. If you enjoy this type of trope, it's worth a shot. One important note: don't trust the opening,it's incredibly awkward and looks like a really bad fever dream.
I did not expect this series to be my first review. I just find Chinese donghua underrated and wish to show my support. Tong Ling Fei is your typical historical rom-com with all the cliches characteristic of the genre. What made it stand out for me is the opening music. Its a total riot: with MC's dancing to what appears to be a poorly translated food review of salty fish. I think it's obvious that the target market is young girls. Best to take the series tongue in cheek as it's fun to watch. The story is easy to follow. Loads of male eye-candy. Female MC isa pretty, cute and feisty heroine with mystical powers, male lead sometimes got on my nerves with his misogynistic, arrogant attitude of 'if you're handsome and rich you can get away with being a bully'. I tried not to take him seriously as he was nice to look at, which I guess justifies his attitude. The animation is great, who doesn't love well-drawn guys in flowing outfits and long hair? I really enjoyed the colour palette, as I said, it's eye candy. Don't watch expecting a heavy story, it has a standard arranged marriage storyline. Shenanigans ensue. Season ends on a cliffhanger. I'm not sure I could be fussed to read the manhua to find out what happens as it's rather predictable. Overall I gave it a 6/10. It lost points cos male lead annoyed me, gained points for opening music and pretty animation. If you're looking for something fun and wholesome, definitely give this a watch.
I don't bother writing many reviews, but I wanted to say while I enjoyed the story it felt like it built a lot up without really going into depth. It ended things in a very anticlimatic way where it felt like I had only finished the halfway point of the season. I'm not sure if there is a second season planned but so far there was a lot of set up and I feel like they didn't even get much of a chance to even get into the *real* conflict of the show. I liked the art, characters and plot for the most part (PrinceYe could learn the definition of "no" a bit better, tho), but I just wish they addressed at least on of their plot questions
Found this gem looking for some non-cg imperial donghua. Best part of the show is the intro. Sounds like a eunich discovering karaoke for the first time. Adding it to my dancing characters collection for amv's. Show begins with an emporer-imposed political marriage between a prince and the prime minister's daughter in order to quell the tension between the two families. Due to the past arguments between them, the entire prime minister's family is reluctant to go through with the marriage. But luckily for them, he had an abandoned daughter whom he had left at the mountains at a young age. He brings her home anduses her as a scapegoat to illegally swap places with his precious favored girl. Our MC is Qian Yunxi, a carefree girl with spiritual powers that was raised by a Taoist in the mountains. She was brought home from the mountains and swiftly married to the prince, whom disliked her due to her family before he even met her. The story follows her life in the palace. If you're here for a RomCom, you're sadly mistaken. The story is set in a imperial dynasty, but surprisingly focussed on the younger generation. Most issues stem from the power struggle amongst the imperial court (usually the emperor's problem, but now it's the prince's issue...) rather than the emperor's harem. There are spirits present and a few scenes portraying cultivation, but it's not the focus of the show. Honestly, you see an abundant of tension, but it's downplayed by the FL's wacky antics. There's NO climax to the show. We're literally watching a 16 episode prequel, following the FL adapt to her new environment. The art is smooth and bright. Action sequences avoid the special effect mess of cultivation donghuas. Even though some frames seem choppy causing many lip syncing issues. But if you're reading subtitles, that doesn't lessen the overall enjoyment. There is so many sound effects in this show. There is never a voice-only scene in this show. Only issue with sound is that the voice acting is sometimes quieter than the bgm or sound effects making is difficult to understand. The characters have realistic personalities + spiritual power. The FL is a typical low level cultivator: Spiritual power, medical powder, mortal-scale martial arts. None of those, glowy sword slashes, ten meter leaps and earth shattering palms. The ML isn't going to blindly simp for the FL upon first impressions. No, he does a thorough background check. Like an actual emperor candidate, he is wary of her and antagonizes her to see if she'll slip up. This allows the FL to solve her own problems instead of crying to her man. But the honest cruelty of the imperial family is shown through the prince. When a man dislikes you, he confines you to a shoddy household (FL) or simply doesn't even see you (other concubines). When he's interested, he'll force you regardless of your desires, but he'll willingly give up his life to protect you.
Honestly I didn't like the first few episodes. It felt like watching the same thing again and again, the FL getting in trouble and somehow getting over it. I wasn't really excited for the couple, if anything I was more interested in her relationship with her family. I felt the story didnt started actually moving forward until like half way through the series. I was about to drop it but some of the plot points were interesting and even tho they weren't develope properly, I was able to power through them and finish it. As a positive, the art style is cute and tells youa lot about each character. I just wish they could have done better on the first eposides and move forward with the story.
