While exploring a labyrinth, Rentt Faina, an adventurer with lots of experience but little to show for it, is killed by a dragon upon discovering its lair. Shockingly, he wakes up to find himself turned into a skeleton, the lowest class of undead monsters. As Rentt fights against the other monsters of the labyrinth, he discovers that slaying them gains him experience towards higher stages of undead evolution—even ones with flesh! With this revelation in hand, Rentt obtains a new objective in his undeath: keep evolving in the hope of eventually becoming a vampire, the highest form of undead that is nearly indistinguishable from human beings. Despite being forced to hide his past identity and monstrous nature under an unremovable mask, Rentt manages to return to a semblance of his former life. Granted shelter by Lorraine Vivier, an elite researcher and retired adventurer, Rentt assumes her surname and starts over from scratch as a rookie. Determined to pursue his childhood dream and become a mithril-class adventurer, Rentt must be cautious not to disclose his new bodily circumstances, lest the adventurers’ guild seek to exterminate the monster he has become. This is technically a calming slice of life type action fantasy anime. The character and surrounding people are developed well. There are fights at intervals. The concept is familiar yet unique. The screenplay has some depth and it keeps you interested. Watch it when you want a chill anime. Adventuring and its risks are well explained. One good part - No extremely annoying character which has now become a common trait. This makes the anime so peaceful. This is a good anime. Neither great nor bad. Just enough to make you enjoy but neither adrenaline raising nor trashy nor slow. Just decent..
Story & Plot: 7/10 The story is arguably slow, the first few episode was amazing where the story developed, while in the middle it starts to falter and continue with what feels like fillers episode with minimal to no developement in the plot. some episode felt really dragged out. depsite all this the story that is trying to discover the theme of humanity in a setting where you are reincarnated as a monster is really refreshing, it strays far away from your normal undead isekai/fantasy show where they just dont bother addressing this part. i just hope if this has a chance for season 2 itwill develope the plot a little bit more and maybe move the pacing up alittle bit. World Building: 6/10 Not much to say about the world and settings. not much was revealed aside from your usual isekai/fantasy, but i can see glimpse of hope that it will be an interesting world. Characters: 9/10 this is the main selling point for this anime, very rarely does your isekai disguised as fantasy have solid points on this one. the main character felt genuine and the kind of guy you would root for, he is the underdog who has given all of his effort to achieve his dreams, he is smart, kind and bad with women but despite all this he was limited by his human body. Finally after breaking his limitation of his human body, now he has the dilemma with his humanty, does being revived as a monster make him stop being a human. Does any of that matters now that he have the power to achieve his dreams. moving on to the side characters, so far the side characters are very much solid too, some are pretty cliche but the chemistry the mc have with all the side characters are great. Art: 6/10 The art are okay, there isnt too much to talk about. The quality did drop after a few episode but thats understandable from something that dont have much budget to start with. Animation: 6/10 the animation it started with was good, but just like the art, the animation quality starts to drop with every new episodes. Opening & Ending: 8/10 The ending really suits the overall theme of this shows, every time i hear the guitar intro it just soothe my souls and then the chorus kicks in and i ended up listening to the whole song. The opening is also very good, but it dont really capture me as much as the ending song. Sound effect & Musical score: 5/10 Im not an expert when it comes to this, usually i dont pay much attention to musical score since they are usually too quite to listen to using a speaker. Sound effect & musical score has the ability to heighten up important moments and you can feel these stuff when it trully matters and i can say that at most time i couldnt feel the sound effect or the musical score. Enjoyability: 7/10 Well despite the slow story this is quite enjoyable, mainly the interections between the characters are good enough to keep you watching. there isnt a lot of action so if you are the type who couldnt watch a video without subway surfer to keep your attention this is not for you. this is more of a human drama than your usually isekai power fantasy. Overall: 6.8/10 total score [54] / total category [8] = Overall [6.8]
The show's pretty rock solid. It sorta gives off "We have Frieren at home" vibes. It's a degree of quality higher than the typical seasonal production, and each episode is good. It's a traditional adventure story rather than an action or comedy, with the character growing over time. He's very likable and it's easy to care about his progress and goals. There is an actual story being told, which is more than welcome in the realm of crystallized isekai worlds. Additionally, it feels like the characters were written for adults. They behave maturely and don't act like complete morons, which is a breath of freshair. My biggest complaint would be that we don't feel the consequences of his undead nature severely enough. Despite the excellent premise, you can get a few minutes into an episode and forget that he is an abomination. As soon as a problem is faced it gets trivialized almost immediately. It would have made the narrative about his nature more effective if they more deeply showed the struggles of being undead. The action scenes also felt a little lifeless. If the show's focus was action, I would take this complaint into more serious consideration. Either way, don't expect too much blood pumping excitement. Overall the show feels like listening to sports on the radio out of your back porch on a sunny day. It is really comforting and relaxing, to the point some people might find get bored. If you enjoy slower paced shows and watch anime to relax, I highly recommend it.
I really enjoyed this show, but it's worth noting going in that it's not got a set plot, to speak of. It's more of a slice of life with earnest storytelling, well told. As I say I enjoyed it for what it was but if you need a set plot and arc this probably isn't for you. For what it's worth the characters are excellent and well rounded, though the show centrally revolves around the protagonist and his adventures/internal dialogue. This is a serious show with good writing and storytelling that kept me absorbed. I appreciated the slice-of-life drama style too.
Just came here to laugh at all the reviews talking about the anime feeling like a filler arc. People who complain about "filler arcs" in a show that isn't shonen to begin with should probably stop watching trash and fix their taste in shows. This is a proper fantasy anime that tells its own story. It doesn't care about shoveling action down your gullet in order to cater to the people who can't watch a tiktok without Subway Surfer on below it. It focuses on the story and characters. It has some action, but only as much as needed for the story. The characters actlike actual people and not cardboard cutouts being used to push along someone's revenge fantasy.
Great premise and huge potential for a great story that quickly turns into garbage writing and kids show. It had a good base recipe for an interesting story: A good, hardworking, likeable adventurer who, despite all of his effort, cannot move past the limitations of his body. gets killed and finds himself to become a monster while retaining seemingly intact consciousness, personality, and memories. All while having a mad scolar/mage/love interest who is willing to hide and help him stay human on the inside. It had no isekai BS, no harem. No stupid, silly jokes, and good art to boot. It explores the themes of : The meaning of humanity,Struggle with his growing monster urges, Getting stronger, and overcoming the limitations of his human past self, Exploring fantasy world full of guilds, dungeons, monsters, kingdoms etc. I watched up to ep 4 after which I went to read the Light Novel since usually it is better and provides more details and a better story since anime adaptations tend to change things to fit the anime format. So I know the full story in advance. After episode 4, the quality takes a nosedive, and it only gets worse from there. Remember the premise and all the major themes the show explores in the beginning? When you can forget it. The show becomes extremely silly. All the mature content gets removed. And by mature, I do not just mean blood, death, or sex. I mean anything that an adult can enjoy. Complex and engaging story with twists and interesting and realistic human behavior. Good writing in general. All the philosophical, moral, and dark parts just cease to exist. The author will mention them but will never actually show them. The story becomes a collection of filler episodes and scenes that push the same things over and over without showing us any new perspective on things or character development of any kind. The number of silly and stupid things in the later part is insane. It completely abandons the initial themes and turns into the adventures of your friendly neighbor, Spider-Man, I mean, vampire adventurer. Every Saturday at 10 a.m. at Fox Kids!
I’ll keep this short: The best part of the this show is the first four episodes. It’s actually pretty interesting, the art is well done, and there’s some creative concepts that haven’t really been touched by any other fantasy. After that though, it becomes insanely boring and filler. You can’t have a show where the premise is based on a unique set of circumstances that the MC has to deal with then completely dissolve any tensions or plot elements around them by the fourth episode. Every single episode after this point becomes the most generic and more importantly boring Isekai slop. Enjoy the first four or five episodesthen drop this.
If you are looking for a dead man turned into a skeleton then this is the right anime for you. I swear i’ve read the manga version a few years ago and im surprised it comes from a light novel The story is kinda unique since its rare for an mc turned into a skeleton then turned into something more than a skeleton( i havent watch any skeleton anime besides Overlord so forgive me) I like the art style, my eyes likes it and it fits with the story so far anyways, im glad i get to watch this and cant wait for season 2, definitely 9/10 cuz ofthe ‘Plot’
This anime might be one of the greatest dark horses of the year, it is a incredible fantasy the likes of which i havent seen since danmachi, and arguably even better than it. If you like all things fantasy, this is for you. Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha follows the story of rennt and his journey to become a mythril class adventure. If youve already read the synopsis though you already know this of course, however where this show excels is the fact that it is ACTUALLY dedicated to following that goal. where many isekai and adventure shows will put that goal to the side, inthis it is right front and center! no useless harms that you dont care about, just pure adventure and growth from a compelling main character and a strong supporting cast. If you like to see a character grow and actually fulfill his dream, aswell as great action and satisfying lore, watch this anime!
People don't watch it because of the many negative reviews, and many stop watching it because they expect it to be just another ordinary anime about a man turning into a skeleton or monster, etc. But this show doesn’t stop there. While much anime about a man turning into a monster focus on them never being able to return to human form, this anime tells the story of a man trying to reclaim his humanity. We don’t see a stupidly overpowered protagonist becoming a god within 1-2 episodes. This show has real progress to tell, showing the struggle from zero to hero (and even by the finale, the main character is still not strong enough, which leaves room for a much-needed season 2). When you watch this, you're watching a slice-of-life isekai story. The progression might feel slow because it carefully portrays the main character’s daily habits and routines in his new life. Slice of Life Rating: 8/10. It captures the slice-of-life vibe well, though there are 1-2 minutes in some episodes that feel like wasted screen time with unnecessary scenes. Comedy Rating: 6/10. The jokes are thoughtful, and you may need to think about what’s going on to get them. This show doesn’t generate much dopamine, so high-energy viewers might not find it entertaining enough. Pros: - No overpowered characters; everything feels balanced. - A slice-of-life adventure with a steady, meaningful story progression. - Focuses on career and relationship development. - No poorly cut animation; the quality is consistent and good enough. Cons: - Many comedic moments fall flat and fail to deliver laughs. - The BGM is decent but lacks variation. - Some slice-of-life scenes feel unnecessary, leaving you questioning why they were included. Extra Note: Honestly, I’d like to give this show an 8.5, but because I see a lot of negative reviews from people who stopped watching before completing it, I’m giving it a full 10/10 to "support" the show.
There is no better word to describe this anime than: Average. After watching all its chapters, I wouldn't say that it has good things to highlight, but I can't say that it has bad things to point out either. The work fulfills the purpose of entertaining, but does not seek to go further or win your affection. The story points out the theme of "existential evolution" as a phenomenon to which we must pay attention, but after a few chapters even the anime itself forgets. He decides to skip evolution and instead focus on the protagonist's capabilities. Rent Faina has no charisma at all. He has experienceas an adventurer and that's it. You can hardly find anything that is interesting about his story, but you can't judge it either because it is such a normal story that it avoids being bad. No matter how much you try to search, the best number that suits you on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 5. The only thing where the anime really stands out is with its ending, both the song and the visuals are beautiful. "Keep your fire burning" is a song that I will definitely miss hearing every week. In conclusion, even if you have nothing to watch, I would hardly consider it an option. I feel you would be better off exploring other options. This anime is for when you are really bored and in the abyss of fantasy. If it doesn't stand out in the season, it won't stand out within the genre. Even so, if you decide to watch it, you may come to like it in some way or another, it's the magic of being average.
Unwanted Undead is a very solid fantasy adventure that leans more into the adventuring slice of life, rather than any epic storylines. It does what it set out to do rather well and is enjoyable through-out. Animation / Art / General Visuals - 7/10 ----------------------------------------------- The art is clean and detailed, and animations decent. The show does seem to have moments where they've decided against including scenes completely rather than spend effort trying to animate them. As such there aren't any spectacular battle scenes, though what we get is good enough. Sound / Music / Voice Acting - 7/10------------------------------------------ Pleasing OP's and ED's, with some decent music within. Nothing overly noteworthy. Sound and voice acting is solid. Story - 8/10 ------------- Unwanted Undead lacks any ambitious grand storylines, instead focusing on daily adventures and keeping its story more self contained in each episode. The core of the story is about a fairly unskilled adventurer that meets an untimely end after making a mistake in a dungeon. Curiously, they awaken as an undead monster with all their memories and personality intact. This leads to the main story of the adventurer trying to return to civilization through attempting to evolve as a monster and become more human like. This of course involves plenty of dungeon adventuring, but also dealing with the everyday aspects relating to it. Concepts like these have been done in the past, but this show has its own twist on the idea, and I find it to be quite well executed. It sets up the perfect circumstance to have us deal with adventuring in every episode and everything that's related to it, as our protagonist is essentially locked into the activity. Characters - 8/10 --------------------- The cast is fairly limited, but those characters that exist are well done. The protagonist is a refreshing character, who embodies many of the traditional traits of good guys, yet isn't overbearing, instead being more rational and intelligent. He is a good guy to the bone, but he also understands practicality. He'll expect rewards for helping someone, and won't turn down any gifts if offered. At the same time, he's not above helping others for free, if it provides other types of value such as good connections, or a boost to his reputation. A good guy, but practical. He's also quite intelligent and despite his limitations, quite competent with the power he does have. Other characters are much less developed, but have just enough depth as to not feel out of place when they do get screen time. The most common one being a long time friend that continues to help him. We get some backstory and their personality is more fleshed out, but the focus remains on our Protagonist for most of the show. Which is for the best. --- Total - 8/10 --- Unwanted Undead is above average in the fantasy adventure genre. Its production values aren't spectacular, but good enough as to not detract from the experience. The story and characters more down to earth, creating a comfortable slice of life themed adventure. Would recommend to any fans of the genre.
Whoa! A pleasant surprise. A fantasy anime that is well paced, has a pretty interesting story where I wasn't able to always guess what's gonna happen next, and a really well done presentation of it. A slowish like one, but it felt perfect for this kinda of anime. The vibe, mood, the MC, the other characters, all blended together to make something that felt always short when it came to episodes, even though I binged watch it... I could only imagine the pain of waiting a week for the next episode. This left me smiling and wanting for a next season! Story: 9 At first I thoughtit would be another basic fantasy anime with some unique twist here and there, but it wasn't. The premise is pretty interesting, uncommon I would say, at least to me, and the execution is what made me fall a bit in love with it. A MC that can actually think, that the story didn't make an OP MC that can just breeze trough stuff right out of the gate, the explanations, the other characters that made you wish for their well being and more. It felt a bit like a real story from certain perspectives. The story takes such a high mark, even though there wasn't anything complex in it, yet (it has potential to become really complex later on), because of the MC and how he was interacting and reacting to situations he found himself in. Truly a veteran adventurer! Art: 8 Sometimes I felt the art was a bit... off... quite a few times. Didn't take much from the experience, but you cannot give a big mark if it doesn't do a good job, right? But it was still satisfying. Some of the fights were pretty interesting, but some, you could see that low budget in them. I was still satisfied tho. Music: 9 Both the ED and OP are pretty cool, would listen to them again. Characters: 9 Here the anime made a good damn job in making me finally see something different in these kind of genre of animes. A MC that is somewhat mature, knows how to behave, can think rationally, is a veteran in his field of adventuring. And cast of characters that can think. And some interesting decisions that I couldn't predict from a story perspective. I was pleasently surprised by how well everything fell into place. Enjoyment: 9 Again, a pleasant surprise that I really enjoyed, that I felt the episodes were too short. Overall: 9 Right now it has 7.47 from 36.621 votes Ranked #1934 Popularity #2077 Members 98,441. A pretty good mark, might deserve a bit higher. Highly recommend to people that want to see more of a chill fantasy with a good premise and a really good MC that isn't OP and can think and is a bit mature, enough to not be a stupid shounen or something around those genres. Waiting for season 2!! Hopefully it will have one, I really want to see what happens next, and from what I read online, the LNs aren't that great, in the sense that the author rambles a lot and overexaplains stuff, like explaining the same concept 3 times one after another in different styles... Will see though, it does have a translation, so there's that.
This anime was so relaxing to watch. I've been searching for a fantasy like that for a long time. It is slow, calming and comforting. There isn't really any plot twists or huge exciting fights. It's just about the characters working, progressing and living in general. But not in a boring, monotone way. Somehow it manages to make it interesting and worth to watch. I adored Rentt and Lorraine's dynamic. At first I was really scared it's gonna take a dark turn and become a harem anime, but it didn't and I'm so unbelievably greatful for that. Their relationship feels so mature and respectful and I'mabsolutely here for it. It feels refreshing after watching loads of other animes with childish protagonists having childish interactions about boobs or smth all the time. Also nothing crazy happens in the plot. I can tell that much without spoilering anything, everything is gonna be the way you're expecting it to be. Which isn't neccessarily a bad thing. I'ts even kinda satisfying to watch because you can turn your brain off for a while and just enjoy the little people's little interactions on your screen. If you're looking for a fantasy full of action and fight scenes, this is not your anime. But it's cute, it's relaxing and just gives me so much serotonin lmao (I really hope there are people who enjoyed it for the same reason<3)
A veteran Bronze-ranked adventurer with a dream of becoming a Mythril-ranked adventurer discovers a new section in a well-known dungeon and decides to explore it alone. There he finds a creature that defies logic and reason, and is ultimately killed by it... or so it would seem, but as this adventurer's luck would have it, he survives the encounter and becomes an undead skeleton with his mind intact. The Unwanted Undead Adventurer is an action/fantasy that bears a close thematic resemblance to isekai, as the protagonist must engage in a bit of identity fraud in order to return to civilization and not be ousted by thosewho knew him for becoming undead. The leading characters are likable and have good chemistry, which should come as no surprise as one of them is something of an alchemist. The main character himself is introduced as being lively and kind, but becomes stoic, mysterious, and kind as the show progresses. The show maintains a relatively peaceful tone as everything continues to work itself out in favor of the protagonist being able to go about his day-to-day as he usually does. The animation is decent, though perhaps the series is a case of being front-loaded, as most of the really interesting scenes occur early-on. The action is fine, serviceable - certainly not over-the-top or overly involved, but shows what it needs to well enough. The writing is similarly fine; the story focuses on the main character and his own progression, leaving a lot of interactions and supporting characters in the dust as he continues to try and reach his goal of becoming a Mythril adventurer. This means a lot of the characters he encounters are effectively one-offs in terms of screentime; however, the recurring supporting cast is well-written and does help to establish the main character's place in the setting, particularly how well-thought of he was prior to "dying". The pacing of the series is good, which makes it easy to watch. The anime does not deliver on its promise of the adventurer being 'unwanted'. In fact, it is just the opposite: everywhere the protagonist goes people end up taking a liking to him, despite his imposing appearance, as he continues to work in earnest to solve the problems of commonfolk, guild quests, and decadently wealthy (if not slightly questionable) sponsors. He is most certainly wanted, despite being undead. Overall, it is a solid action/fantasy that is leaning towards a mature audience. It does what it is supposed to do well enough. I can recommend the anime to anyone seeking action, adventure, and fantasy.
“The Unwanted Undead Adventurer” is what happens when You have a solid premise and execution. One day an adventurer is killed by a dragon. He did not perish however. He regains consciousness in a skeleton body. Not sure what to do he begins to wander the dungeon he’s in. Through sheer coincidence he discovers that he can get more powerful by killing other monsters. Remembering his friend's lecture about monsters and evolution he decides to evolve to a creature most similar to a human. After helping a newbie adventurer he acquires some cloth that covers the fact that he’s an undead and heads backhome. From that moment he takes on jobs to help out people and to become more powerful to evolve into a vampire. “The Unwanted Undead Adventurer” is a character driven (actually character driven, not just an excuse for some lame action scenes) action-adventure fantasy show that uses the daily grind of its protagonist to tell its story. The protagonist is Rentt Faina - a 25 year old veteran adventurer that dies and gets turned into an undead. In life he spent 10 years as an adventurer but never really accomplished anything great. He did however help a lot of newbies to be better adventurers and even took some jobs, not for money but for the fact of helping someone. Yes, he’s just a nice guy. Unfortunately that seems to be a trope that won’t die anytime soon so let’s just accept that and move on. God knows I could write a doctoral thesis why it’s bullshit. There are other recurring characters but they are just there so Rentt will have birds to bounce off of, give info dumps or to just change the pase. There is one who matters to him as a person but she’s mostly useless in the grand schemes of things. Unlike a lot of fantasy shows this one takes a different approach to tell its story. Because of its slower pace (for most of the time… I’ll get to that) it has a very slice of life feel to it. There isn’t a big, overarching plot point (except maybe evolution) but a lot of small (mostly lasting 1-2 episodes) plots. Most have the same structure. Rent takes a quest, he meets the employer, struggles (not really) and accomplishes his goal. It’s not a terrible structure, the quests he embarks on are different enough that You don’t mind the first part that much. What I do mind is that a lot of the time (mainly in the second half of the show) there isn’t shown HOW he deduces something or conquers an obstacle. It is painfully visible with the maze and earlier with the monster of the lake. The first one is infuriating because the task was difficult, he defeated it but no one from the writing team decided that mauve they shoes fucking SHOW HOW! The second one is annoying because it could show how Rentt’s mind works. Unfortunately the reason he was right is because… the plot demanded it. There were numerous conclusions one could have based on the clues he had. Nope. The plot demands he be right and by the Almighty Robot Policeman (That’s a Borderlands The Pre Sequel reference) he will be right. Even if that means he will be right with little clues. Yes, he used his knowledge well but he is living (unliving?) proof that weird shit happens in this world. He could have (and I think he should have) been wrong. Honestly, he's always right and his actions have no negative consequences for anyone. Another moment when writing annoyed me was when at one point Rentt is experimenting with his abilities by activating all the types of “magic” he can use at the same time, something that is even said by him to require a master, and the mofo did it. Granted he did struggle a bit but the fact that someone who most of his life had little power is able to do things that require mastery is absurd. He got a new body that did empower him, but didn’t grant him new skill levels. At that point I got worried that the show would devolve into another bullthis OP AF MC type of story. Unfortunately it did. Not that it hasn't given an unfair, and not exactly earned, powerup to Rentt before but it at least pretended to keep it moderate. Fortunately it never fell to the basement level of something like Sword Art Online. My gripe is that for someone who spent all his life being cautious, he became rather reckless too fast in my opinion. That said, from a certain point in the story, the fights aren’t really a focus in the plot so maybe getting them over quickly isn’t such a bad idea. That said, let’s give credit where credit is due. Rentt is a pretty solid, evolving (pun intended) character. The Rentt we get at the end of episode 12 isn’t the same we got in episode 1. In more than one way. It’s really nice to see when writers actually care about their character in a character driven story. Honestly? I enjoyed this show a lot more than I thought I would. It’s not groundbreaking in any sense of the word, the writing has a pacing problem and the MC is just a point above generic when it comes to his character, but the execution is enjoyable. The character designs are solid, even if some are generic to the point I thought they were ripoffs, and the premise itself is pretty cool. As long as You don’t think too much about the fact that our hero has a goal but absolutely no plan and just rolls with "life", You can have fun with this one.
As one of the first of this season that I had started, I also decided to make it the first to complete. With this marking my 230th anime I've actually finished, I can say that as per usual - especially in this day and age - the basics are high quality. Music, ambience, world appearance, character designs, voice acting,.. There's two downsides only, really. The opening isn't the most catchy, which is fine.. but the pacing is a bit of a rollercoaster ride. The first 1-3 episodes were quite attention grabbing, but then it dwindled, with the last episode being another highlight point. Everything inbetween is a steady up and down with lots of nice vibes, driving the plot forward little by little. As some others commented, it's a safe show. If you'd like to watch an isekai but don't want too much drama, ecchi, etc, then this is definitely something to watch on stressful days when you just want to relax. However the pacing is, the characters are loveable and not the most common interpersonal relationship and dynamic wise. Not the greatest thing I've ever seen, not the worst of this season. In short, a show that may or may not get - but needs - a second season that I nonetheless leave without regrets. It's like a hug that goes on a little long but in the end you realize it left you feeling a little more warm inside.
I very rarely write any reviews but this anime is something else. Its a mix of a slice of life, fantasy and adventure anime and it does basically everything it wants exceptionally well. If you're not good with paying attention to "slow" anime's that take their time you might wanna pass on this one, but as long as that floats your boat i can only recommend this masterpiece. On top of that the writers / producers for once decided to actually follow some common story telling rules such as "Chekhov's Gun". 10/10 would recommend and savor it while you can not that many amines nowadaysknow how to tell a story well consistently.
I didn't watch this for a long time because it's premise was too familiar and overdone. I thought this was going to be another over the top power fantasy where the "weak hero" ascends in a few epsiodes to a demigod in their respective world like in Slime Tensei. Instead the show does a great job exploring the struggles of a new form, focusing on how simply socializing would be a huge challenge given the main characters new situation. This story takes it's time to really flush out an interesting world and introduce us to a ton of mysteries but still endsin a satisfying spot. Lets hope they give this a proper second season beacuse this show was great!
