When a humble merchant named Banaza is summoned to the magical kingdom of Klyrode in another world, the citizens hope he will become the hero who can take down the threatening Dark Army. Unfortunately, Banaza does not gain any exceptional powers at level one as hero candidates usually do, and he has no way of returning to his old world. As compensation, he is sent to live in a faraway forest. Upon arriving, Banaza levels up once and suddenly gains limitless powers that he now has no idea what to do with. To avoid drawing attention, Banaza changes his appearance and assumes the name Flio. While away from home, he stumbles across a young demi-human girl named Fenrys, who is seemingly searching for the same forest Flio was sent to. However, she attacks him and reveals her true identity—a lupine demon. Luckily, Filo's unrivaled magic overpowers Fenrys, and she swears undying loyalty to him. However, Flio refuses to hold power over her; the two instead begin pretending to be a married couple and embark on a new life together. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

This isekai adventure proved to be a delightful and fulfilling experience. The series skillfully balanced lighthearted humor with heartwarming character development. Flio, the protagonist, was a relatable and endearing figure whose journey was a pleasure to follow. His interactions with Fenrys, his romantic interest, were particularly engaging, showcasing a natural chemistry and a blossoming relationship that added depth to the narrative. One of the series' strengths was its pacing. The story progressed at a comfortable rate, allowing for ample exploration of the world and its characters. The animation quality was consistently impressive, with stunning visuals that brought the fantastical world to life. The opening theme, withits soothing melody and cheerful tone, perfectly complemented the overall atmosphere of the series. The series' charm lies in its ability to deliver a satisfying and enjoyable viewing experience. The well-crafted characters, heartwarming moments, and visually appealing presentation make "Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life" a standout isekai title.
“Chillin' in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers”, seriously those anime titles are getting into spoiler territory, is what happens when the gods of mediocrity decide to bless the mortal realm with another of their creations. Imagine an isekai. Congratulations, You have a 99% chance of knowing what will happen in this show. It’s that basic. It’s white bread among the isekai, well… I guess all isekai now are like white bread. There is little originality in it and what is original, surprise there is something, is shown in the first episode just to be relegated to background noise that means absolutely nothing inthe long run. This show is a comedy, slice of life isekai that once in a while pretends to have a story and not just plot. Before we start I would like to explain something. I will be talking about “plot” and “story”. Many people use those terms interchangeably. I’m not one of those people, so to make sure everyone is on the same page… I use the definitions for “plot” and “story” as Lisa Cron describes them: “What happens in the story is the PLOT, the surface events.” “STORY is about how the things that happen affect someone in pursuit of a difficult goal, and how that person changes internally as a result”. The main plot is very much standard. A young man is summoned from another world because the rulers of the world that summoned him are too incompetent to deal with their own shit. What’s new and actually could be interesting if explored in any way, shape or form, is that our MC was summoned to a fantasy world from another fantasy world. A fresh take on the genre. Shame it means nothing, just like in most isekai where the hero is summoned from our own world. Another interesting, but getting more and more common, plot point, is that our MC is not the hero they were looking for. Turns out our hero - Banaza has shitty stats. Yes. In this isekai everything works on game logic. How thrilling and original. Ok, long story short, the king tries to kill him to cover up his incompetence, Banaza survives, gets super awesome over powered as fuck stats and starts living his own life as a living embodiment of perfection. The End. Thank You for coming to my TED talk. Ok… fine… When it comes to characters that actually matter for the plot and story… there aren't many. To be honest our MC doesn't have much of a story, he’s just there. Like in a lot of shows like this he’s more a catalyst for other characters' stories. He stays the same for mostly the whole show. Everyone else around him? Yeah, they change and grow. I have no idea why I’m watching this waste of space, his coterie is much more interesting. But… here we are. The characters that matter to the plot of this show are: Flio - the MC formerly known as Banaza. He is summoned from his own world into another one. In his previous world he was a merchant that, it seems, treated his demihuman workers as more than just slaves. There is a moment when he’s called a hypocrite but that’s never addressed and it might insinuate that he’s not as innocent and honest as he seems to be. This point will not be addressed ever again. As in the case of almost all isekai protagonists we don’t know anything about his goals or life before his transportation. Just once I would like to see an isekai protagonist that actually has a reason to return to his own world. I don’t think there is any isekai where the protagonist really minds being transported to the new world, has his life turned upside down and abandon his friends and family. It is the same with Banaza. He does attempt to return to his world after he gains his powers, it doesn’t work and he just abandons the idea all together. Yes, he does get a reason to stay so I’ll let it slide this time. At least the reason is logical - he got a wife in his new reality. Rys - aka Fenrys. Called the bravest woman warrior in the Dark Army, she resigned from it to become Flio’s housewife. To be honest I like the idea of such a metamorphosis but I despise how it was done. Just because she was bested she decides to completely change her life and personality. I would like to see that change going more slowly. Maybe start with her frustration that she’s forbidden to fight humans, then let her learn about humans and their culture. You could still let her be in love with Flio but her story would be much more meaningful if her change was done organically. As it is now it’s just bad. She becomes a lovestruck housewife because the plot demands it. To be honest I think she’s the most insulting female character I’ve seen in a long, Long time. Her whole shtick is that she loves Flio and would do anything for him. It’s not even an equal partnership, she just goes with anything he decides. To the point she doesn’t really care that her husband killed her brother… and countless other members of the Dark Army, You know… her allies. The only thing I do like about her is that she looks after “the pack” and practically forces powerful individuals to become a part of it after her husband is done handing them their asses on a silver platter. Blossom - Because I like her design. Eff off. The Hero - aka asshole who got chosen. He was summoned along with Banaza to this world but unlike him, he has “hero” stats from the get go. Surprisingly he does not possess any skills. It’s unclear if this is his own fault or it’s just his drawback from having his stats maxed out from the start but it’s enough for him to feel inadequate. That’s part of the reason why he always runs away at any sight of trouble leaving his soldiers to deal with everything. Surprisingly, because of his ego he is the source of quite the number of troubles for the MC and his coterie. That’s the main reason why I put him in this list, without him a few episodes could not happen. It’s actually amusing that the kingdom can’t handle one idiot but I guess the plot demands it and I lost all hope in writing in this show at this point. Let’s talk a bit more about logic in this show. It absolutely is non-existent. Simple example. When Banaza (He’s not using the name Flio at that point in time) was exiled to the forest, the person who drove him there was given a magic bag, to give his passenger when they get there. The journey lasted 20 days. Later we find out that there was a monster lure casted on that bag. So let me get this straight. For 20 fucking days nothing attacked them, despite the fact that (as we learn later) magic beasts are rather abundant in that region, but the moment our MC is left alone he’s attacked by monsters. The fuck? How does that work? Did the lure activated only because Banaza touched it? Was the activation related to the location? Or is it that he needed to earn xp and the writer is just lazy? Yes. Shitty writing at its best. Of course the bullshit worldbuilding and bending over for our MC doesn’t stop there. The monsters that attack him are 3 slimes. Just enough for him to level up and become godlike. Seriously? You just had to do it that way? Why not show how brutal the world is. Why not, after killing those slimes, he still needs some xp to level up? Let his struggle a bit, make him do something good or even heroic that would show us that he isn’t a total sack of shit and actually can be trusted with this power. Anything. Hell, make his save cat even, it’s cliche as fuck but the whole show is so it would fit. Just once I would like to see the MC actually earn his powers not by dumb luck but something that would show his morality. Daredevil got his powers (and lost his sight) saving someone from danger. Is it cliche? Yes (well… maybe in the 1960s it wasn’t). Is it a bit rushed? Yes. Does it show Matt Murdocs character, his sense of morality and willingness to help others even if it means putting himself in danger? FUCK, YES! That’s what I want to see. If the MC is going to get godlike powers why not show us that he actually is the right person to be entrusted with it BEFORE he gets it. Every damn isekai MC shows his heroic side after getting powers. It’s lame and to be honest doesn’t present them as characters to root for. The way Rys and Flio get together is some of the most bullshit writing I have ever seen, and I’ve watched “Eminence in Shadow” and “The Qwaser of Stigmata” so the bar is pretty high in this regard. Flio, and his future coterie, is attacked by Rys in her wolf form. Our resident dumbass… I mean the protagonist, teleports others to safety and stays to fight Rys. Why? Seriously, why? There is no logical reason for him to do so. He doesn’t even know at that point in time that he is OP. The logical decision would be to run away. He doesn’t. Uses his bullshit op powers to win, spares Rys and from that point on she is in love with him. Let’s say it together… BULLSHIT LOGIC. Nothing that happens in this situation was decided by any kind of logic. It happened because the plot demanded it. The world also revolves around Flio. The man can do nothing wrong. Even when he doesn’t mean it. He instinct uses newly acquired magic to save Rys just because the plot demands it. There was no setup that magic can be used unintentionally but here we are. Magic that only a djinn could wield is used instinctually by him. At this point I’m certain that he could kick a random baby and it would turn out to be some kind of apocalyptic threat that was foiled just in the nick of time. The man can do no wrong, makes no mistakes and because he’s OP AF, nothing can harm him or have any kind of long lasting negative effect. The four girls that start to live with Flio and Rys are much more entertaining to watch and as characters than the MC. They at least have stories, struggle, learn and change internally. That’s far more than Flio can say throughout the whole show. Unfortunately they are relegated to just background. You can’t even say they are catalysts for anything interesting because they don’t do much of anything. They are just there for visual variety. Listen, I have very little positive to say about the writing. It’s cliche, it’s predictable and more often than it should - boring. Still the execution isn’t all bad. Despite everything there are moments when characters bounce off each other pretty well and they almost feel like actual characters. It’s not often but it happens. The problem is that 90% of the time it happens with Blossom and her squad and not with Flio. You lose absolutely nothing by skipping this one. It’s predictable, full of cliches and lazy writing.
I went in expecting a bad show to make fun of and came out loving this to bits. Even though I doubt it will happen, I truly hope that this gets a second season. I'll 100% be picking up the manga to carry on for now though. Every character had a small arc of their own, the romance was very wholesome (mostly) and just gives butterflies with how sweet it is, the action is really fun with amazing animation to boot, and so much more. I could genuinely gush about this show forever but I say give it a go. It really takes a turnfrom just an easy to make fun of show to a truly amazing one by episode 4-5 when everything just starts settling into place. 10/10 would watch again.
This is a typical Isekai anime. As you might guess, our Hero is Overpowered. There are no significant plot twists. The anime packs too much cringe and the story is not meant for kids as there's nothing of significance (in terms of story, moral lessons, history etc) in the anime. Anyways, the anime was so-so for the first 6 episodes and then they messed up the already pathetic story. Mind you, I tried very hard to finish the last episode, which is among the worst last episodes of all Isekai anime I've ever seen. Coming to artstyle, I think this being a low budget anime has poor artstyle. Character drawings aren't unforgettable as barring hero and heroine, none are given enough art details. Others who want to pass time can watch it. But this anime is not everyone's cup of tea. So, a hard 5 ⭐ from me.😏😑
Relaxation, the key emotional products from any good slice-of-life anime and the range of this malleable mood is hard to target for some critics. Personally, I need to feel some particular pleasure to be sincerely relaxed enough to say an anime has done delivered on its promise to be a worthy slice to recommend and rewatch with my friends. The main requirements always centers on the MC and usually his progress with not only his journey but how he maintains the mood for me the viewer by his character growth, affable attitude and intrinsic interaction with the cast. Let me reassure our ever unflappable SirFlio is a dependable dude that smoothly sails the show's progress with his genuine kind nature, humble attitude and admirable approach to his lovely lupine lady Fenrys or Rys for short. Indeed, a common complaint in most romance elements in anime is the typical tepid MC who flails around like a kite in a hurricane when his love interest approaches or worse, the pompous jerk that persistently attacks any chance of romantic progress with his ideal mate. Thankfully, this show slides pasts those tired tropes and gives us an appealing couple whose love is promised and then slowly delivered with an actual believable, satisfying and mature union. When it comes to waifu quality it surely helps what type of -dere you prefer and while I'm open to various flavors, the deredere, like our lovely Rys, is my favorite. And it rare for a show to have an intelligent MC that doesn't waste this golden chance and actually allows the romance to blossom naturally. And besides being my fave Powerpuff girl, Blossom, along with Balirossa, Belano and Byleri all are fine additions to Flio's harem, er I mean (seriously) his home and provide fine filler to the basic plot. Of course the best side characters are the supernatural figures who are very memorable for the greater importance to the plot and its overriding message of acceptance, forgiveness and equality of all people. Also, they provide the highest degree of sensual pleasure for my every hungry urges. The ever loyal crimson cat demon- Uliminas, the devious djinn- Hiya and the wild witch Damalynas are all glistening figures that add that much welcomed spicy flavor that brings much pleasure to my personal requirements. And of course, lest not I forget, Tsuya, whose upper frontals defy gravity and leave me grinning ear to ear each time she appears. Nevertheless, the prime reason of these slice of life shows appeal is the level of peace and harmony the MC can negotiate and advance in spite of al the challenges in his way. Now, being omnipotent MC is a frequent issue for these type of Isekai shows but it works by not relying on showing Flio's power but hearing his rational and compassionate voice that speaks relatable truths and cool understanding. As Rys learns early on, its her darling's weakness that appeals to her the most as nothing is more powerful than the opponent who shows mercy instead of malice and seeks cooperation instead of conflict. Although, I must admit that there is one excellent fight scene in episode 6 that reminds us of how awesome and somewhat terrifying Sir Flio can be when he lets loose. Overall, the progress of the show is benefited by the easy going nature of the cast all voiced by veterans who give the right sound to illuminate the comedic/ mellow tone. Both sub and dub versions are excellent thanks to the couple of legends on the sub side- Rie Kugimiya (Rys) & Satoshi Hino (Flio) working well again as they done this partnership splendidly again and again. While, the dub version-Megan Shipman & Mauricio Ortiz-Segura actually was surprising good as Mr. Ortiz-Segura definitely has the presence and steadiness to voice Flio's calm nature and Megan Shipman is always a delight to here voice a deredere. Also, much oblige to Gholl's dub voice Ray Hurd whose husky tone was almost so cool I do believe Hell has freezer over when he left his throne to come live with the gang. And the review could not end without me giving a sly assessment of the adorable OP song-Dannasama to no Love Love Love Song sung by the legend herself- Rie Kugimiya. Indeed, we all wish we could be Kugimiya-chan's dannasama (darling) after watching this OP, the lyrics are very catchy and Kugimiya's voice will linger in your mind as does this show that meets all my requirements for a legit pleasurable experience. Overall Rating- 9/10 Plot-9/10 Characters-8/10 Romance-9/10 Comedy-8/10 Voice Casting- 8/10 Fan-Service- 9/10 Intro/End Songs- 9/10
I went into the anime thinking it would be mid, and I was right. This anime is generic, plain and average. If you want no worldbuilding, story, mid art, mid characters this anime is for you! Male MC gets summoned into another world by some mages, isn't that original! Since his stats are so weak he gets kicked out, there's no need for a weak hero around this city. But apparently he actually has max stats and really powerful spells 😎. He doesn't know how to use these cool spells but he uses them anyways, isn't that neat. Female MC is a wolf girl, with big proportions(of course), can't forget to mention she's really really powerful. She acts like she and the MC is a married couple, "Woah he's strong, now we have to get married" something along those lines. The characters seems amazing, don't they! I forgot to mention, he doesn't want the kingdom to know about his super duper cool powers. But suddenly there's some more characters that he shows his powers too with no care in the world "Since I'm the MC I know that they won't tell the king about my overly OP powers". There is NO world building. Story is generic, they don't explain anything, stuff just happens with no thought. The art is pretty mid, if anything the characters are decently well made which is making this anime to "stand out" to anything else they're offering. Chillin' in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers has not offered anything that stands out from other shows during these 12 episodes, there's really no point in watching this, there are hundreds of better things to watch. My Rating: 4.5/10
This anime is nothing ground breaking, and it is pretty safe, but it is pretty good at what it does, it heavily relies on romance and it is more so targetted to men, but it doesnt rely on sexuality, no boob jokes to speak of, some more spicy scenes here and there but even those are pretty mild, anyone can enjoy this romance, both men and women. On top of that, it might look like a harem as there sure are a lot of women orbiting our protagonist, but our protagonist is very steadfast on his loyalty and all the women around him respect that, thereare never jokes or plot points that hinge on women coming onto him for gain or attention, it is quite refreshing, it almost feels like a shojo in that regard. The plot itself is a bit "all over the place" but it is "all over the place" within its own boundaries, as in, it does spread itself thin and you can tell that the plot is pretty subpar, first 7 eps are more so dedicated to one thing, and 8 thru to the 12th are (mainly) focused on other subjects, could have been better handled but the core is still there, it does not ever feel like you're being taken on a tour of a wholy different story. The animation is good enough, nothing to write home about but I personally only noticed 1 animation mistake, usually these isekai types have a few more than that. The OP is damn catchy, but the sound design in general is pretty generic, isekai magic has been done to death tho so no surprise there, we all know what a magic circle is supposed to sound like. I dont understand how people are reviewing this anime so low tho, romance is supposed to feel a little cringy/fake when it isnt happening to you in specific and as far as romance goes, I much rather see some honest to goodness 90% romance with 10% horny over shows with 60% horny, 10% romance and 30% jiggly boobs catching the attention of the 15 year olds Very safe watch, perfect watch for a couple to watch together, just the right amount of lovey dovey to want to grab hands, and just the wrong amount of horny to skip the anime and "netflix and chill" right into bed. Could have easily been an 8 would the plot be more focused and the ending not so sequel baiting, but alas, it is a solid 7
For an anime with that many ladies around the main character, I'm really happy to announce that the goal wasn't to give him many options to flirt with. No! Not every female in the world is in love with him! That's new for a Harem anime, and I like it. They have more like a found family dynamic and I was legit surprised by that. It can be a bit too much at times, we still have some bouncy bodyparts here and there, but really, the romance is sweet (sometimes too sweet), even if it is a bit forced right out of the gate. The premise it'scool, the message of everyone should be treated equally is nice. You can turn of your brain to watch it if you want, no need to think further about stuff.
Lv2 kara Cheat is okayish... The reason I still went for the recommended review instead of mixed feelings is because I think it's enjoyable for people who already like and enjoy watching isekais. If you've never watched one, you probably shouldn't start with this one, and I'll try to explain briefly why down below. This anime is clearly aiming for the average, and it will check many boxes of the isekai genre : op mc, pseudo harem, basic plot, average animation quality etc... And while a few elements are done right such as the number of characters introduced, the female MC, the opening song, theslice of life vibe and the development of their home/everyday life, there are also many elements done wrong. Indeed, the plot is forgettable, the rhythm is fine for the first half but it becomes too slow afterwards, and it highlights another problem : there aren't any real stakes in this anime, and it would be fine with different settings, but here, the plot involves a global war between demons & humans, so the end result is a bit weird, why should the viewers care about the plot if even the characters don't really care for it ? Now to be fair, the anime doesn't take itself seriously, so it's easy to forgive the show for its absence of stakes, but the fact remains that the rhythm feels off after a few episodes and it becomes a bit boring at times. All in all, this show is a typical isekai, it will please people who enjoy this genre and it will annoy people who don't. The anime does manage to establish a cozy light hearted vibe and it's interesting to see the characters evolve in their everyday life. However, the absence of stakes hurts the show and its rhythm, in the end, there's not much happening in the span of 12 episodes and people who aren't used to fantasy isekai animes might feel confused because the last episodes are really underwhelming. I liked Lv2 kara Cheat for what it had to offer but I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, and there are many better isekais to watch beforehand.
A combination of an average isekai with a mediocre harem story that, unfortunately, doesn’t bring anything new to the genre. The main character, a typical OP protagonist, is yet another copy of characters from similar series — lacking uniqueness and charisma to truly capture the viewer’s attention. The storyline is also unimpressive, relying on overused tropes we’ve seen countless times before. While the title has a few positives, they aren’t strong enough to save the overall experience. The most notable advantages are, unfortunately, the waifus, who, while attractively designed, lack distinctive personalities, and the fallen hero character. The latter has the potential to add depth andemotion to the story, but its development remains underwhelming and shallow. Perhaps the creators will explore this arc better in future seasons, but for now, it feels like a missed opportunity. One positive aspect is the depiction of racial, social, and cultural differences and how they can lead to conflicts. Sadly, these elements remain more of a backdrop and don’t add significant value to the plot. Overall, the anime is very average, overly naive, and clichéd. It’s yet another title that quickly gets lost in the sea of similar productions.
The most average anime. Not laughably terrible, but flirting with that line. Underwhelming voice acting, check. Lifeless story and characters, check. Inoffensive at best animation, check. The word passable was whispered over the pacing of this anime, check. Like what more do you want me to say? There were no giant plot holes, leaps forwards in character arcs out of nowhere, or any horrendous animation. Just, meh. It be isekai with tiny twist. As if someone whispered "unique" in a jar and then smashed that jar on the ground. Just the slightest whiff of unique remains three days later. It's the typical isekai.... but tHiStImE hE gEtS iSeKaIeD oUt Of oNe fAntaSy wOrLd JuSt To EnD uP iN yEt AnOtHeR fAnTaSy WoRlD!!! Man it must have took 3 whole seconds to come up with that twist. Lifeless, passionless, derivative, but yet not offensive in of itself. It's just the stench of yet another isekai that is offensive, the rest is just average. 4.95/10 Dubbed
I think it's safe to say that I am not the only person that stumbled upon "Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life" because of the opening going somewhat viral on social media. It kept popping up and since the opening is very catchy and seemed cute as hell, I gave this show a try. Unfortunately, this show is about as average as a show can get, falling into all kinds of tropes and stereotypes. It fails to set itself apart from the numerous isekais that exist to this point with the only exception being that the MC gets isekai'ed fromanother fantasy world instead of modern Japan. And that is not the only issue. The protagonist, Flio, is overwhelmingly powerful, as hinted by the show's title, making the battles feel insignificant since he always finds a way to win. Lacking substantial world-building, the show leans heavily on the dynamic between Flio and Fenrys, the wolf girl who sings the opening theme. It also adds other various characters to their entourage, which join them in living in a house far away from all conflicts as they try to stay neutral and away from it all. Most of the side characters end up being stereotypical at best which causes the show to really have a thin plot, without much depth to it. Female characters mostly have large chests, little clothing to show off as much skin as possible, and lack a significant personality which tends to feel a bit tiring. Honestly, what kept me going back to watching was the fact that the opening was addicting as hell and that Fenrys and the relationship with Flio moved at a surprisingly quick and mature pace. Their scenes feel wholesome and they made for a pleasant viewing experience even if Flio was the stereotypical timid male, afraid of the mere female touch. He gets better though, and the relationship between the two ends up being more or less healthy. I suspect, that this show won't be something for everyone as the plot is paper thin, stereotypical and rather boring. The animation and music are nothing out of the ordinary (other than the OP), and the voice acting is pretty okay. However, what elevated the show in total from being fine or average to me personally at least, was the interactions between Fenrys and Flio which felt sweet and were in many aspects the saving grace. In "Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life," you won't find deep storytelling, extensive world-building, an engaging plot, or high stakes. Instead, you'll get a romance that is enjoyable for what it is, but very average in every other aspect.
If you enjoy the Isekai genre but dislike the stereotypical aspects, this one may be for you. Instead of Earth to a fantasy world, the main character goes from one fantasy world to another. There is no real harem (one love interest between mc), almost no explicitly ecchi fanservice, and although the mc is overpowered, it doesn't keep him from being too bland. This anime is generally wholesome, but there may be some dark aspects to it, but for this season, only one episode got dark, if this gets another season, there'd definitely be another. If you liked the source material, then this is apretty good adaptation, not straying from the plot, with minimal character redesigns.
This show was a standout among "trash" isekai. Its not a great show, but it was better than what I had expected. It should be apparent from the cute and catchy brainrot OP but this is probably best viewed as a fantasy romcom. Beyond the first couple episodes there is very little for an overall long term plot and any major events are just a medium for introducing new characters. Hijinks happen, they are resolved almost immediately from the titled 'Cheat powers', and a sometimes a new member joins the crew. The character development and story they do show in the anime makes it agood standalone experience, and while there are unresolved points to get you to read the LN the show covers enough of them to feel like a proper ending if you only watch the anime.
Hello everyone ! In one sentence - if you have free time and want to watch a cute isekai anime then I recommend it. The plot is very average and does not develop that much. The characters are superficial and without a backstory. The character design looks good. I really liked the opening song and the ending song of the anime. There is nothing special about this anime. The pace is also very slow. But in the end I enjoyed the series overall and I recommend watching it.If you release a second season for the anime in the future, I will watch. Score 6 out of 10 for me
Another average isekai anime, Lv2 kara Cheat datta Motoyuusha Kouho no Mattari Isekai Life has sparks of simple but effective comedy, a somewhat strange ''love'' relationship between fenrys and Flio, the whole story of starting out being excluded by the government of the day sends him to a dangerous place, he as a good protagonist gets rid of the problem quickly and everything is happiness for the protagonist, he gets a girlfriend, co-workers, etc. An isekai with touches of romcom, for me most of the characters are memorable except the magician. recommended if you enjoy isekais anime like me :) review made with the help of atranslator, sorry if there are any mistakes.
DANNASAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA This anime is a delightful isekai adventure that embraces its cute charm. While the story may not be groundbreaking or unique, it flows seamlessly and offers a pleasant, enjoyable experience. The predictability doesn’t detract from its charm; rather, it adds a comforting familiarity for fans of the genre. The art style perfectly complements the light-hearted and whimsical nature of the story, with vibrant colors and charming character designs that enhance the overall viewing experience. As for the characters, they are easy to appreciate without requiring deep contemplation. While they may not be exceptionally well-rounded, they possess a balance of flaws and strengths that make them endearing. Thecharacters are not unusually strong, smart, or foolish; they react to situations in ways that feel natural within the context of the anime’s world. Even if you don’t find this series particularly engaging, it’s likely that others will enjoy it for its simplicity and charm. It’s the perfect anime to unwind with during your leisure time, providing a light-hearted escape from reality. Those who appreciate the isekai genre and enjoy cute, feel-good stories will find this series a delightful addition to their watchlist.
Summoned to another world, being rejected as the hero and to then be stuck in this new world alone. To only after rejection becomes a true powerhouse one level later. In this show do we follow Flio and Fenrys, where Flio is the rejected summoned Hero and Fenrys is his companion in this new world. We then through the show follow the two of them trying to live a relaxed life away from drama, but the world has other plans and problems come to them instead. The plot is built up around two pillars, one is the relaxed life Flio and Fenrys is trying to live andthe other shows how the world is developing. These two pillars overlap from time to time, which results in situations that puts pressure on our main characters to act on major events in the world. This very much gives a mix of a relaxed comfy anime and a more intensive fantasy vibe. When it comes to the characters, is there a fair amount of character development in them. We see how the main characters' relations deepens and how they slowly grow from their experiences, specifically do we also see how the romantic relation between them evolves. The side characters are varied in their degree of detail and development, where some gets more then others, but they aren’t left behind. Which gives some nice life to the whole show, seeing how both main and side characters react to the plot. One thing that is important to point out is that the focus on the show is not on big character trials and is more focused on making a relaxed atmosphere. The thing the show is very successful in is living up to the “Chillin’ in another world”, because it is very much shown through the main characters actions. But also in the results when the big world plot tries to interfere in their normal life. So overall would I definitely recommend this show, especially if you like a classic fantasy setting with a more relaxed atmosphere.
Chillin' in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers is a pretty average isekai that doesn’t do much to stand out but still offers some mildly enjoyable moments. The story, while somewhat different from your typical overpowered-hero setup, doesn’t break any new ground. It’s interesting enough to keep you watching but not particularly memorable. The characters are a mixed bag. Flio is a refreshing protagonist for the genre—kind-hearted and competent without being a typical bumbling, pervy isekai MC, which is a nice change of pace. Fenrys and the other female characters are cute and fun, adding some charm to the show. Their interactionsbring a lighthearted, enjoyable vibe. The animation is serviceable but nothing special—just your standard, passable fantasy visuals. The music and sound are also just okay, neither enhancing nor detracting from the experience. One of the show’s better aspects is its restraint with fan service. Compared to other isekai, it keeps the ecchi elements toned down, which is refreshing. Overall, Chillin' in Another World is a middle-of-the-road anime. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t do much to leave a lasting impression either. It’s watchable for fans of the genre but easily skippable for anyone looking for something more substantial. 5/10 – an average but inoffensive isekai with some fun characters and minimal fan service.
