Average high school student Aruto Kirihara is obsessed with the Alice stories, written in this alternate world by the enigmatic recluse, Alternite L. Tachyon. One night, while writing his own version of a potential "third book," he sees a girl flying in front of a full moon... and she looks just like the "Alice" in his imagination. Aruto runs out of his house and chases the flying figure from the ground, ending up at a library, where he witnesses her in combat with another costumed girl. And so begins his sudden introduction to the world of Alices, an elite club of super-powered teenage girls who regularly fight in an extra-dimensional Wonderland in order to steal each other's "hidden stories." When all of the stories have been gathered, they will form the legendary third volume, "Eternal Alice," and the possessor will be granted one wish. It probably won't be Aruto, who can't turn into a magical girl. But it could be his doting little sister, Kiraha. Or maybe the girl of his dreams, Arisu... (Source: Discotek Media)

This anime contains some supernatural elements and a combination of comedy and light romance situations. Story Very interesting, somewhat new anime subject, every episode leaves you with a desire to continue to the next in order to see what happens with the characters. Art The art is perfect, in my personal opinion, very moe-like and colourful, nothing seems out of place, even during action sequences, the art is pretty much detailed. Sound The songs are easy to recall, the music fits the whole atmosphere of the show, nothing too fancy but it settles most of the time on a serious tone.Character Various complex personalities, the typical anime girl is also present, the shy but toughtful girl, the transformations, dynamic interactions, characters showing strong feelings in almost each episode. Enjoyment This was a show that I'm glad I've watched because of the following motives: beautiful and attractive characters, strange but alluring scenes, original story and the amusing intermingled connections. Overall A funny, beautiful show with many surprises, outrageous outcome mixed with inexplicable reasons for some of the characters' actions.
O hidden door within the heart, Guardian of untold secrets, With this key in thy look, I bid thee open, And reveal the story held within. *light fades* STORY (3): Once upon a time, there was a generic boy named Aruto Kirihara, who is passionate about writing fiction stories. He currently lives with his annoying sister called Kiraha Kirihara, who keeps calling Aruto "Onii-chan". OMG! I am starting to have flashbacks with Pupa. One day, Aruto witnessed a girl who flew to the library to confront someone, Aurto recognised the girl that this is the same girl that he wrote in his novel, so he decided to check it out.And basically Alice tries to form a connection with Aruto. As you all know, this anime was produced by Trinet Entertainment, who has never been well known due to the fact that they never produced a single good anime. Trinet Entertainment, once produced Final Approach, an anime that was not well received. The story was actually inspired by Princess Tutu. However, there is not much depth within the story. Every episode has a build-up leading to a good conclusion, which was satisfying about how stories can change everything in life. Just like Princess Tutu. However, the problem with this anime is that they over sexualise the characters. The story is also very generic, it sounds more like a generic harem anime, and it is. This is because there is one guy Aruto and the rest of them are girls. When one of the girl gets stabbed in the chest by a key carried by one of the magicians ie. Arisu, they scream and moan. It felt like as if I am watching a hentai. ART (2): The animation as I have said was awful. This animation was like animation that was made in the 1980s. There was barely any movement in the characters. SOUND (3): The opening and ending are dull to listen to. The voice acting some did a decent job while most of them did a horrendous job at voice acting especially, CHARACTER (2): I honestly don't know where to begin. Aruto looks like a very generic and oblivious male protagonist. He is just like Fakir but without any character depth to him. He always falls into traps by the ladies including one at episode 4. Arisu was the only likable character in the show. She is badass and she tries to help Aruto & Kirihara. However, she alone wasn't good enough to carry the show. Kiraha was so annoying. She keeps shouting "Onii-chan" to Aruto. She is like the girl from Pupa, although slightly tolerable than compared to her. Her voice was awful to listen to and the voice actress Mari Kanou, her voice had a whiny accent. The rest of the cast are not that memorable. CONCLUSION (3): You all know by now that I have completely forgotten about this anime ever since the time I started watching anime. Alongside with Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku wo. The title "Kagihime Monogatari Eikyuu Alice Rinbuyoku" was just too long. If the title is too long, the title can be easily forgotten. The characters are dull, the animation is dull, the story has some build-up but overall is dull. The only likable character in this show is Arisu. With that said I give this anime a 3/10. I find this anime slightly tolerable than other shows that I've watched so far. However, I probably might not remember this anime in a couple of years.
