My personal feel after this anime was: What did I just watch!? Sure, the art is quite good, same as the story line, which is as good as it can be in just 1 episode, but seriously, if you can't stand brother-sister relationships with no limit at all, you will find this anime shocking... Also, it comes quite close to hentai, it is extremely "detailed". Anyway, if you're planning to watch this OVA, prepare!
Aki-Sora isn't your run-of-the-mill brother-sister incest story. There have been too many OVAs to count where a boy and his step-sister(s) of no blood relation at all, made quite clear early in the story, have expressed their forbidden love. One of the attractive points of Aki-Sora, though, is that Aki and Sora are, in fact, full siblings. Finally, the 'I' in incest was dotted, and the 'T' in taboo was crossed, like the line that Aki and Sora cross when they give in to their desires for each other. A point I find particularly appealing about Aki-Sora is Sora's twin sister, Nami, whom he is notincestuously involved with. Had I been writing this story, the temptation to have the twins become involved would have been too great to ignore. Twins tend to be closer to their other "half" than to anyone else, so it seems reasonable in an anime about sibling love for there to be strong feelings between the two.Yet Aki-Sora doesn't rely on cliche here, and instead presents us with a more original story: one where, instead, Sora's twin is just the opposite, and there's no particular closeness between the two. Beyond that, there's an amazing love polygon that will surely make you take notice. Backstory is adequate for understanding the relationship between Aki and Sora, but not so much that we lose sight of the main action, which is well paced. I would like to have seen more backstory with Nami, however. The characters are not completely cliche despite the mold this anime fits into. Sora especially is a bit more dynamic than we might expect. He does, however, blush far too easily. One interesting thing to note is that the relationship between Aki and Sora seems to be a bit of an Oedipal complex, with Aki acting as a stand-in mother. Their mother is not absent (as we see in the sequel), but is rarely home. I rate the art higher than I might have otherwise, only because more than once did I find myself pausing to admire it and to take screencaps -- but not for the reason you think. Sora is beautiful [I am fonder of boys than girls], and in many scenes, the background and landscapes have an almost magical quality thanks to the shading and glow on them. The female voices were good, but the seiyuu playing Sora (Kinoshita Sayaka) was quite good. Some may think that Sora sounds TOO much like a girl, but even though there may be a few moments when he sounds unconvincing, it works for him. As Aki tells him after she dresses him in a girl's tennis outfit, "Don't worry. You look like a girl anyway." The only time it may be truly distracting is during the sex scenes. This was a fun one to watch. I'm more than a bit hentai myself, which is a requirement for enjoying it. If you're not, skip it. There's no point in wasting your time. Thankfully, though, it seems to blaze a new trail right beside the beaten path, so even though some notions may seem worn out, old, and trite, others will be refreshing, eye-opening, and enjoyable. I followed up this OVA with episode 1 of Aki-Sora: Yume no Naka, which I can say only improves on this one.
IMO, this is the top of the line in borderline hentai & taboo. This anime doesn't hide its taboo. No sir, its full blown incest. Unlike kiss x sis where they are not blood related and the story shoves that in your face on multiple occasions, Aki-Sora casually mentions. It doesn't try to justify that what they are doing is socially okay. It doesn't give a fuck. The scenes are amazing. Nothing is shown of course, but its still amazing. Considering the fact that sex isn't just one pose and that's it, it varies from scene to scene, moment to moment. It has more to shown thansoft porn bullshit with moving furniture. Sora (the guy) is presented as a weak male that ALMOST resembles a female and even a couple of times is forced to dress like one. Almost all of the female characters are so masculine that this anime is a sort of gender power-play in a way. Depending on your taste, you might find this distasteful to a degree and I am compelled to understand why. Its almost always the females that initiate any sort of sexual action because Sora is just plain ashamed and embarrassed of even thinking about it. I can't say it has a story, as it is on a day by day basis and it has little to show story wise. They are all going to school ( OF COURSE THEY ARE ) and there are some plots here and there, but they are minor. Mostly it revolves around emotional discovery of Sora, his two sisters and one of the sister's friend who also likes Sora but has no clue what is going on. I highly recommend it to ecchi lovers that haven't already seen it. IMO, you need an open mind for this because this is incest and the anime doesn't even try to hide it. Otherwise you'll just judge it.
One of my old banned reviews. The original review was taken down for not going into more intricate plot detail...even though I explain the entire plot. Since the early 2000s, absurdly nasty "reaction videos" have been very popular on the internet. Whether it is "Shrek is Love, Shrek is Life" or "2 Girls 1 Cup", we ALL have to watch those videos, then force all of our friends to watch them and laugh sadistically as they retch in disgust. Aki no Sora is basically the anime version of this cultural trend...only it lasts for 30 fucking minutes! Aki no Sora is the tale of a youngboy and his desire to fuck his older sister, who has giant boobs. To Americans like me, sleeping with your first cousin is incest and is gross enough already. Sleeping with your blood sibling is just...WTF!? However, the Japanese don't consider cousin banging to be incest at all. Not only is cousin marriage completely legal in Japan, but it isn't even frowned upon by polite society. Japan is a nation very obsessed with pure family bloodlines and homogeneity to the point that marrying a non-Japanese will make you get FAR more odd looks than marrying your own cousin! For some reason I can't really fathom, sibling incest is a common enough fetish in Japan that there is a HUGE market for that shit! We are talking about DOZENS and DOZENS of anime, games, comics, movies, etc. all revolving around brother/sister fucking. This shitty anime is one of the most infamous of that genre. The OVA starts with the brother and sister growing up together and always wanting to touch each other and bathe together. Then it time skips forward to high school and we have to see the older sister take a bath with her little brother and give him a handjob. BTW, I'm pretty sure it isn't possible to cum that much Aki Sora! Next we get some absolutely pointless school scenes, and the revelation that the wincest couple's other sibling is a lesbian...which is simply revealed for no reason and is never addressed again. Much like the mother's cancer in Tommy Wisseau's masterpiece The Room. Why the FUCK would you create a dramatic sub-plot that you are simply never going to address again? Dear God, I'm actually putting thought into the writing technique of Aki Sora as if it actually deserves literary criticism. I think I've finally gone completely insane! The anime ends with full on brother/sister fucking...unprotected...simply to make many geneticists and doctors cry. Aki Sora is a REALLY shitty anime, but actually doesn't even work as a reaction vid. Game of Thrones gave us brother/sister fucking with real actors playing the parts of the siblings, so an animated version isn't even as cringe-worthy as that. I'm also afraid living in Eastern Kentucky has made me far too jaded to be shocked by Aki Sora. The next county over from where I lived for 3 years gained fame in the 1970s when geneticists flew in from across the world to study a clan of hillbillies. They were so inbred that they all suffered from an extremely rare genetic disease that makes your skin turn Smurf blue! The condition is called Methemoglobinemia. No I'm not making this up. I'm dead fucking serious! Basically, this hentai isn't even that fun kind of terrible where you just HAVE to make your friends watch it. It just sucks!
This OVA has changed my life. Since I watched this Masterpiece I have a better relationship with my sisters. I now understand them better in their way of thinking. I lead my life like the Protagonist the biggest giga Chad the greatest thinker of our time. He will lead the revolution in our society. I was crying all the way trough my watch and even on my 69th one I was still in tears. I was so sad when it was over I wish i could forget everything and experience it again. I hope this OVA will also change someones life. Truly magnificent.
Since my original review got removed. I'll leave a "short and sweet" review about this anime. The plot of the anime it's wrong in so many ways. The characters, especially the main protagonist Sora, it's so annoying. If you ask me about the sound of the anime, I'll tell you that its basically moaning and whining. In the end Aki-Sora it's an anime with a decent animation, with horrible characters, an incestuous lame story that it's not worth watching. Even though the anime fits in erotica, it's probably more safe to say that it's a hentai. So I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. But if you"incest"... Go ahead and watch it by your own risk.
Aki-Sora. One of my all time favorite incest anime, right along side Yasuga No Sora and a few other hentai films. If you've never "tested the water" of the incest genre before; Aki-Sora could or could not be what you want to start off with. Before I get started, I cannot emphasize this enough: Aki-Sora is as close as you can get to hentai, before actually becoming a full-fledged hentai. There are sex scenes. Hot, sticky, brother-sister sex scenes. After that last statement, you might be a little grossed out. However, don't let that discourage you. Aki-Sora is a beautiful love story. Even if it isonly 3 episodes long (with the sequel), it's going to capture many peoples hearts, making them want more. Sure, the idea of incest is gross to some. Disgusting to others. But Aki-Sora gives you a chance to have a whole new perspective on the idea of incest. I've always found incest interesting. Having a younger sister myself, I could never see why anyone would fall in love with their own siblings. However, after watching several incest titles, I finally started to understand. Love isn't something you can choose. You can't make yourself fall in love with someone. Me and my siblings had never gotten along good and are more like enemies than lovers, which may be one reason I couldn't understand incest. However, incest does happen. Now, it may not happen much. But back in the 14th century and such incest was a common thing. Royalty would use incest to keep the blood line pure. However demented that may sound to some, incest is intriguing to others. Because, no matter what, you can't choose who you fall in love with.
Rate an 8 English Subtitled Story Society means well as a whole but in doing so can lead to unintended harm for a lot of people, especially on the idea of love. There are a lot of issues: money, divorces, lies and other forms of evil/unfortunate acts. Sad to say some of this could have been resolved with incest. Don't get me wrong i am not condoning the idea of it. Mainly because of the science impact that shows how it leads to problematic children like down syndrome or a missing/extra/damaged appendage. But to live with someone like family for a long time it is not odd toform an attachment of sort. The characters expressed in this anime show no evil intent in their desire for each other. Mainly just kindness and concern is expressed. Yet, deep down we can't. Which is sad for we force a wedge in those we care about. For what exactly do we get return? Chance of true love somewhere else true but we also leave our self vulnerable to those we haven't lived with(complete strangers). Introduction and conclusion were nice but there was nothing really impacting. Plot topic is that of a taboo but admirable for its courage to talk about it rather than learning nothing by leaving it in the dark. Characters actions were beautifully captured. Especially that of the main male. For it was clear by the amount of innocence that figuratively dripped from him reeked of innocence. Which means a lot in comparison to if he had evil intentions. Had that been the case why are we good citizens watching this? If you are a believer like i am that when you put something out there like on the web it is a virus. People can easily catch it and spread it. But to put something evil out there chances are high it can grow for sick people can learn from it. Overall, i like to thank you for baring with me on a hard topic. I mean well. If i were to say what was the purpose of this anime was to bring comfort to those who lost it.
Incest (Noun) : sexual intercourse between people who are very closely related With incest seeming to be a common theme in certain anime series, yet, still very taboo, there has been an uprise of story illustrations depicting "forbidden love" amongst the lines of blood related family members. With these themes, stories are orchestrated to bring this topic of "forbidden love" to the viewers and give them something more than just their regular romance stories. Aki-sora is a story of a younger brother and older sister rekindling their love for each other, something I really enjoyed about this is that it wasn't a typical romance anime revolving around a shy girlfalling for a popular boy, the writers for aki-sora do a tremendous job at putting together a very taboo like story of a brother and sister who secretly are committing acts of "forbidden love". If you are looking to step away from your typical romance stories and look for something with my spice, then Aki-sora is something worth viewing. The story itself is decent, however there is a ongoing dispute on rather this would be considered Hentai or just plain old anime with ecchi themes. I personally would have enjoyed to see a more in depth story, something amongst the line of character progression, character backstory, etc.. However with onky one episode being aired at this time, it did a decent job witht he character stories. What I did see is that sora would practically make things obvious by his multiple blushing and worrying about everything, Aki on the other hand was comfortable with the way she was, she enjoying have sexual relations with Sora, and even went as far as having sex with him while their sister was in the house. Viewers can easily point out the differences between the two, they easily contrast each other, one is nitpicky and worries too much while the other enjoys every second and lives their life with little to no regrets. There was definitely room for improvement, but it did good the way it was. 7.5/10 The art and animations were rather nice and above decency. I sometimes would catch myself saying "damn this is pretty good". The backgrounds were done very well, almost screenshot worthy, I would say.8/10 The voice acting was done well, I'm not quite sure if this was intentional, but sora had a very girly voice, alongside his female figure, there were sometimes the voice sounded boyish as well, it suited his character very well. Aki's voice acting was also well, I enjoyed it very much, not once did it come across my mind that I had any complaints about the voices whatsoever. 8.5/10 Me being very strict and critical on what I watch, I always pick out things I didn't enjoy and things I did, my biggest one is definitely the lack of story and character progression. Also keep in mind, if you're not willing to see sexuak parts or even the concept of incest itself, it definitely isn't for you, but I would still recommend broadening your horizons, that it was I did and ever since then, I've come upon beautiful stories. The followup of this is Aki-sora: yume no naka, if you are looking for more of a story and something more with Nami, then I recommend watching this, I really did enjoy this, however this isn't a review for that so I won't go in detail.
Don't be fooled my dear friends, this is just full-blown incest porn. Aki Sora is one of those titles you just find randomly when dumpster diving into MAL's database, I came across it thinking this is just another OVA to quickly add to my ever growing list. This is one of the few (or many) "hentai" series that goes all the way with the touchy subject of incest. Why it isn't classified as a hentai? Who knows? Looking at the sex scenes through an analytical lens, the sex scenes are alright. If you compare the art and animation for this series to a normal hentai episode, it's actuallyquite decent. The art work is nothing to be impressed by, and the animation is quite stagnant, but that really says a lot about the quality of normal hentai, doesn't it? For what to expect with the nudity, there are only titties. There is hardly any character development throughout the episode, but is further explore in the sequel OVA, so what I can say is don't expect anything from the characters, except for the fan service. And I can say the same thing about the plot. It's no different to a hentai. The music is not bad either as it does alright to set the mood for each scene. If you're into taboo or weird shit like incest, or you're desensitized to most things, then you might find some enjoyment out of this. If not, don't bother to watch this. Overall 4.5/10 --> 5/10
just wtf i watched. the art is nice ( you can't tell if the mc is girl or a boy) the mc sounds like a girl the audio was ok other than that everything was horrible i don't know why people make and watch this kind of anime and i don't know why i decided to watch it myself but anyone out there who is reading this warning GTFO as soon as possible since this anime covers a taboo topic which is seen a lot in animes but you know they never cross the line but they did crossed the line inakki sora.the major disappointment was no plot devlopment and horrible characters they have almost no emotions at all. aki is hot though no doubt about that but still it is one of the few animes that are best left alone
Simply amazing. The plot it's very well made and is the deepest plot I have ever seen. I read the Synopsis and immediately recognize the potencial in it. Because incest equals wincest. Bestu animu eveur. 11/10 would enjoy again.Love brings up emotions that run the gamut from agony to ecstasy. Love can inspire us to accomplish some of the craziest and most amazing feats. Love can make you happier than you've ever been, sadder than you've ever been, angrier than you've ever been. It can elate you and deflate you almost at the same time. While we can all pretty much recognize the emotions associated with love, actually finding the words to explain those feelings is a pretty tough order. People have searched for centuries to find the right way to say "I love you" and to try to explain those butterflies in your stomach, that warm fuzzy feeling in your belly and that heart skipping a beat. One thing we DO know is that whether you've love and won — or loved and lost, it's ALWAYS worth it.
"Good Fap" -IGN I've honestly never watched anything like this before, but this one right here is not the sort of thing I was expecting to like, given that it's a show about taboo. Story 4/10: Hey, don't Judge me, I know that the story's kinda "meh" but given that it's a borderline ecchi, I mean, who cares, we all came to watch this for one sole reason, right? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Art 9/10: Art's good, it's one of the best parts of the show, although "bottlenecked" due to the 'mediocre-yet-on-the-bad-side' plot.Sound 8/10: Superb in most scenes, kinda goes down to the "average 'cliché' anime dubbing" at some points in the show, but overall, I can see the effort the VAs' are putting into it. Characters 4/10: Character development's bad, I can't really say much about this one, not that I have nothing to say, I just want to avoid spoilers and such. Enjoyment 10/10: I mean, if you came to watch this with the same reason as I did, you'll know what I mean. even though the characters are bad in general (except the big-tiddy onee-san), it's good. Overall, it's a good show depending on 'situations'. Bad plot's not really a problem in these kinds of shows, it still depends on the audience on what they're expecting to see or not to see.
Aki -Sora how can i review thee? Well the story's focus is definitely incest and i am not one to judge i watched it too dig deeper in the dark gritty atmosphere of anime. First let me start out about what i liked about this anime , 1. It took the Incest topic in anime into a highly different direction in which other series like Oni Ai and Oreimo took a light hearted comedy approach to the topic and unlike KissxSiss it made sure not to rub that there not blood related in ourfaces but the characters in Aki-Sora i find to be quite interesting like the main character Sora who is a shy kid who does not know what he is feeling and how he was picked on by his twin sister Nami. 2. Know i will explain what i did not like about the series in a whole just the whole anime is surrounded by the main characters and it did not spend enough time on the side characters but i wouldn't expect much from a 3 episode OVA series
This is a hentai apparently. This anime is about some guy banging a girl but also another girl/guy. I think they are all related also. Scientifically, this is disgusting. In terms of literature, this is also disgusting. In terms of artistic pieces, this is a masterpiece. The animation and sound direction were magnificent. When they played that Gflat when she hit that climax, this scene and sound was honestly one of the most exciting moments of my life. That white blur that happened afterward was a courtesy to not blind and deafen us with the sheer aaaaamuont of awesome that occurred in the story right afterward. Iam honestly blinded by the magnificent art that the artist drew for this show. I think that I will never would have moved on with my life had I never watched this show. Although I only watched this show on pornhub, I will make further effort to buy the blue ray dvd and play it on my home theatre in my big basement under my big foyer next to my big driveway and next to my big farm. My grandma recently developed senior hearing loss and vision, and I hope to rehabilitate her by showing her this masterpiece. Thank you for reading this in advance. I hope you can find it in your heart to watch this show. Please reply back with suggestions and improvements that I can make in my resume. Thank you.
Review refer at all the Aki-Sora franchise OVA which is include the last OVA AkiSora: In a dream. Tbh, i came there just for fun. I can not resist my mind after seeing the tittle image. Lol. Poorly, after watching very first scene, i just regret my decision. Oh, heck that! I must focus for my initial purpose: to have some fun. Can i? Yes, ofc! With the focus to the mild-porn, this anime pretty good at their decision for taking some action. I write for the whole, not include to the character assessment. For the whole interaction, animations, even the motion, all quite an OK. Notbe the best one. But still, i must get my thumb up. Yes, for fun purpose. I should really call 7 full point to the enjoyment sides. As per other section rating, rather skip, or trying to dodge it. But alas! I came here to express my feeling, man! Then, i put this simple. Story? This show dont have nice story standard. Never. It came to the weird level of satisfaction for the whole story-thing. Since i came for fun only, let say the story past only to flavour the hot scene, and then forget about it all! So my repetitive score down to rather 1 or 2. Since i can't give the zero one. What else? Yes, Music. Art? Idk the best. So i should rate this to 7. With the music never had place to my mind, 5 points for that. And for the character? This is interesting. What came in mind previously to the characterization. But no, you dont need to this kind of show. Your need was the charming one character. And this anime dont have much charm. Call it for Sora. Its fully blame by me that his existence just for the plot armor. No strength point for him. Not because i had some jealousy, but he really no need here. Lol. Diffirent for the heroine. They all had the perfect place to be the winner. Again, warning, winner to be only Fun Purposes, not more. Lol. So, by that judgement, i give 5 points, to respect the female one. And for Sora you can go the fuck out, right now. Lol. So for the overall, i keep it simple. By the average of all aspect. And it came to the 4 point. For my deepest bottom of my heart. I wont give this crap 4. But, once again, i strong my will, for Fun Purposes, 4 shall be good to be bold here. Ended.
ill first say that yes finally you get a semi anime and hentai where the brother and sister are blood related and not step bother and sister to be honest i have seen this before just never got the chance too review it and also this is soft-core hentai so you wont see any penis or vagina just boobs and nipples Story: you could say the beginning kinda has a story where as aki started to love sora when they were much younger otherwise the episode doesn't really have much too show as a story Art: art is very good nothing ba about it Sound: same asthe art was very goo nothing bad about it at all Character: you really dont get awhole lot just 4 characters mostly just aki and sora and a little bit of kana and nami all are very good nami no idea she almost felt like she forced nami into taken her breasts out which was odd but eh maybe there will be more of a story in the next two Enjoyment: kinda meh to be honest even though i gave it a 7 there was a little bit of comedy but the reason for the rating was because there was really only 1 sex scene Overall: giving this a 7 the sex scene kinda made me give it cause i honestly thought there wasn't gonna be one at all but glad there was also the comedy was kinda good
Many times I have been told that in Japan, Hentai is viewed as an art form. Here in America, with our puritan backgrounds and Judeo Christian value structure, it is seen as nothing but pornographic filth. Being one who tries to keep an open mind, I decided to view some of the Hentai titles I am familiar with. And by "familiar" that is to say, I know their names. I started with "Aki-Sora" and even with my open mind, I was physically ill watching this. A 21-minute long cringe fest coming from the respected studio Hoods Entertainment, this story focuses around the tall and beautiful Akiand her femininely, awkward little brother Sora. The two have always been close and as puberty comes in they now become sexually attracted to each other. Aki is nothing but a sexualized air head, who somehow has the best grades in school, and does nothing but parade around in get ups that accentuate her assets. She is a cover girl. Period. Sora, meanwhile, is a well meaning little brother who could pass for a girl with a change of voice actor and outfit. Actually at one point, he is put in a girl's tennis outfit. Because... I don't want to know. Seemingly oblivious to all this is Sora's twin sister and Aki's youngest sibling Nami, who does nothing but complain about why there isn't food prepared and be somewhat tomboyish making her the most interesting character in the piece. Since this is Japanese Animation where parents are seemingly non-existent and most plots take place in a high school, we have a fourth character introduced in Kana who has a crush on Sora. Why Sora is so obsessed with his sister and not going after her, who is not only interested but looks just like her (giving us 4 character designs for the price of 2) is beyond me! Oh, yeah. Incest. Right. This is Hentai. Acres of flesh is a must. I will grant that Aki's body is well drawn and well proportioned, she has large breasts but they are not morbidly huge and she looks like a human being, not some satire of the female form. I would say the art is the best part of this piece given the music is stock and the backgrounds are staples of Anime (schools and bathrooms). The two titular siblings voice actors give competent performances, especially towards the climax *giggity* where the pair comsumate their lust for each other in a scene that made me physically ill but I respect for not being over-the-top. This was after an interesting side-note where the two supporting characters appear to have a lesbian relationship, explaining Nami's tomboyish nature and Kana going for it because Nami looks like Sora. This was never delved into because, I'm guessing, they had a 21-minute run time and had to concentrate on the incest. This is just one person's opinion, but I found this to be a nauseating display with an art quality that far surpassed the subject matter. It disgusted me. It bored me. It made 21 minutes feel like 41. And yet it spawned sequels, which I will not get into because of how rough a watch this one was for me. I may review the Hentai genre again in the distant future, but I will not bother with such wretched and pathetic stock as this. Far from my taste and I do not recommend it to anyone. 1/10. Stay away!
*Light spoilers ahead* (TLDR Review at the bottom, as usual, thanks for reading) Aki Sora is an interesting OVA. At first, I watched it, and then brushed it off as haha very funny xddd kinda meme OVA along the lines of Boku no Pico. The kind of title you watch only because of the fatalities it has given to many eyes. Though something did intrigue me about Aki Sora when I watched it during such a time, maybe it was some irrational thought but the presentation screamed something along with some kind of hidden message. So I gave it a rewatch. Seeing what kind of conclusion I'd cometo after another watch. It is a lot different now. The narrative here is inconsistent, specifically, the characters are. I don't understand how I got to the conclusion in the first place, but Aki Sora was never trying to explore forbidden love in a sense where both characters were passively fighting against their consciences, rather, these characters were just up and down the place, more so Sora than Aki. Aki seems to understand what it is she is doing, until she states otherwise, until, she goes back to what she was doing again. The same is true for Sora, although Sora seems a little more confused and is harder to decipher if or if not he truly understands what he does, because again, he contradicts himself quite a bit, just more subtle than Aki. The fact of the matter is that the pair understand that they do bad stuff, but have an underlying motive that somehow bamboozles everything that they know of beforehand, so you never quite know if they are genuine about what it is they are doing, or if they are broken and lost with their mentality and morality. Only real-life human behaviour could probably set in stone the two, and to me, Aki is probably along the evil person line rather than good. Her behaviour, her initiative, her selfishness, her manipulation, just adds up against her at the end of the day. Sora comes across as a victim due to Aki, though, again, due to events that take place, I can never quite tell whether he was satisfied with Aki's actions, or whether he didn't know any better. It is a mix between the two. Chances are he isn't broken, and probably committed to taboo love as much as Aki did. It brings an interesting ground to with when understanding the presentation of Aki Sora. On the one side, it could be that the anime was telling the tale of individuals who've acted on primitive thoughts, the id if you like. They knew what they were doing was wrong, but they did so anyway. Or, the anime could be about broken individuals being lost in a world they knew no better in the actions suitable for society. A spoil on the blank slate. The former seems more believable than the latter, though, there could be a mix between the two. I wouldn't go into Aki Sora thinking this level of detail was made whilst the team was producing the work. It could have been done, but I simply don't believe such, it probably does fall into fetish realms of guilty pleasures and what not. But, the concept is interesting to think about in the first place. I do believe following the tangent in which the margin of error becomes ridiculous due to prolonged extrapolation is not ideal, however, no one said it isn't allowed. That is why I brought this forward in the first place. For its time, the production values here are as good as anything else in very early 2010. I cannot consistently rate with the most fitting score because I don't watch a ton of anime like that, but I do think it is safe to say that this was pretty good for its time, just not enough to surpass the average. The sound here was part of the reason I overrated Aki Sora and thought it was some kind of message to be taken away from after viewing, though after watching it a second time, yeah, it wasn't *all* that grand, they were still soundtracks that was actually very nice to hear. Brief comments on the seiyuus, and I only have to praise Kawaragi Shiho for taking on Aki's role, because she does make a pretty good fitting impression many people seem to just want to cut just enough with. At the end of the day, this is just some OVA that goes into touchy subjects (literally). It is probably offensive to some individuals, though, if you are like me who leaves with a blank face as with literally every anime, then you are probably not going to mind this one on your list. In a universal sense, there isn't a lot here anyway. It almost does embrace its simplicity, but it does it in a way that actually cares too much about its characters despite not being long enough so you can't really call it an expression either. I wouldn't actively recommend this, though I am not one to get others to shun it either, it is just there if you want to have a watch at it really. It's a story about incest at the end of the day. ---------- TLDR Review: It's an OVA about incest you can probably spawn theories on human initiative and motivation out of if you are like myself. Otherwise, doesn't have a lot to it other than brother and sister do some sex. Looks decent for its time, sounds better in most categories. Yeah, not a lot here all in all. ---------- Rewatching Aki Sora makes me want to read the manga tbh, I was going to rewatch this for a while specifically to redo an earlier review I made on this, dunno if I was gonna change anyway but that's information you can use if you want. I really want to see how everything plays out from start to finish with the actual story, idk, it just got me thinking, I need to see it in its pure form and its entirety to at least say something about it knowing I've seen everything. But that is not now and is for another day. Until then. Just remembered there is also a sequel that needs to be watched… Overall, 6/10.
