Having accumulated a massive debt, Curo Kazamiya's father has gone into hiding to evade prosecution. Since his mother passed away several years prior, Curo is forced to sell himself into the service of Miisu Hakuryuuin, a wealthy landowner and businessman.
To the young boy's utmost surprise, his new owner turns out to be a benevolent master who seems to have no intention of punishing him for his father's sins. Instead, he offers Curo the opportunity to become his servant and gradually pay off the debt with his own labor. Curo is quick to agree, considering himself lucky to escape a far worse fate. However, little does he know that Miisu expects him to do tasks beyond the duties of a regular servant.

Definitely not for the faint hearted. If you're not a yaoi fan, nor are you into porn then you shouldn't watch this. I myself only bothered with it because I like Yaoi/shounen-ai, and lets face it, there's not that many of those floating around. Plus I wanted to see if this was better then Boku no Pico. However be warned, this is a shota-con where little boys are having sex with older men. Turn back now if you're against that! Story (3/10) - Shounen Maid Kuro-kun is essentially a porn without plot. What little plot there is only serves to explain how Kuro found himself inthis situation serving as a maid in a pervert's house, and that little tidbit at the end where Kuro is given the option to leave. The rest is just porn with a sprinkle of food play, crossdressing, bondage and toys.
Art (7/10) - It wasn't too bad, the animations are kind of weird in some places however (like the twitching dick. I was like WTF?) I didn't like the way Mitsu was drawn, it just didn't... suit. Kuro was cute, I'm glad they didn't make him look /too/ much like a girl as the animators had done in Boku no Pico.
Sound (5/10) - Meh, the moaning gets a little boring after a while.
Character (3/10) - Not much character development, except for Kuro's sense of worthlessness and how Mitsu tells him that this wasn't so. There was a reason why he was chosen. Blah, blah, after that there's not much character development, although they do have quirky personalities. I loved it when Kuro beat Mitsu up :P
Enjoyment (7/10) - It was somewhat enjoyable, for a PWP. The sex scenes were hot at least :) I also found amusement in the beginning when Kuro catches Mitsu spying on him in the change room and bathroom. Go the uke! The last scene was hilarious as well, but you'll just have to watch and see, neh?
Overall (6/10) - Overall I'm giving it a 'fair' rating. I certainly enjoyed Shounen Maid Kuro-kun a lot more then Boku no Pico and any of it's sequels (both animes were made by the same company). It doesn't suit my usual taste in anime, so watching it was just a bit of mindless fun plus smut.
Recommended watching: Boku no Pico, Enzai

I couldn't believe my eyes! I mean really? He wrote the script for another of my favourite animes which is immensely popular and definitely not Yaoi/Shounen-Ai o_0

This is hard to write without being horribly biased but I'll try my hardest. Overall: 2 Kuro-kun is a dreadful piece of work with poor plot and characters HOWEVER, I enjoyed it so much because of this reason!! If you're into bad yaoi, definitely watch this. Plot: 1 The OVA is pretty much just porn without plot- the attempt at putting in a plot is really a very very poor attempt at that. The ending is weak!! I won't spoil it, but Kuro's reason for not leaving is so nonsensical. Just get out of there kid.. However, if you're looking for some quick porn without being attached orcaring for the plot then hey you should totally watch this.

The art style itself is really nice and I would like to give more than a 3 rating, but the "R-18" areas make me think otherwise. Since so much of the OVA is just sex I can only give a low rating because of how plain grossed out it made me. I'm no prude, but the creepy nipples, the tacky, shiny skin and penises and.. There is definitely something wrong with Kuro's butthole (just sayin..) Yeah no thanks.

The sounds aren't bad! Voice acting is alright, I kinda liked Kuro's voice I'll be honest! But there are some parts that made me question whether it was.. Doable..? The noise of the lube (lotion??) it just.. made noises all on it's own.. That's just as an example anyway, but they just ruined the experience for me.
Character: 3
The seme guy is a awful person. I'm not entirely sure what we, as a collective audience, are supposed to feel. Are we supposed to like him? Think he's cool? I just think he's a creepy rapist. Does not say "OK" in my books. Especially his justification at the end. Absolutely no thanks
As for Kuro, oh my. If you were in such a situation I'm sure you'd do more than just take it, literally, up the ass. Even being in some mass debt, you just would not stand for it.
For pwp I suppose it's fine, the characters don't need to have a sound reason.
Enjoyment: 10
I enjoyed Kuro-kun a lot. Oh boy did I enjoy Kuro-kun. It's singularly one of the worst things I've ever watched. Some of the bits in it made me laugh out loud, I was in tears, they were streaming down my face, I had to pause it because I couldn't see through my tears. (When you see the banana, or the salad, you'll get what I'm talking about)

i really thought this anime was all sex but to be honest i kind of liked that mindless sex feel. if they had cut out most of the sex and actually put more into the plot, i think it would've been really really enjoyable. at one point during it, for some reason the small amount of plot material it had in it really got to me and made me sad, so i think i really would have liked this as a normal shounen-ai series with a relarive plot instead of a hardcore yaoi. altogether i though the animation and graphics and what not were verynice, i like the modern look and the bright colors, so that really appealed to me. all in all i guess, dont watch this if you dont want to watch like 15 minutes of a boy and an adult looking to be in his 20's having constant contact of sex, if you do want to see that, this is for you man xp

Nutshell: Okane ga Nai meets Boku no Pico meets a handful of relatively soft kinks. Pass it unless you enjoy watching bad smut for giggles. Story (3/10) - There is too much going on for a pwp short. Namely, it chooses to bother with a plot, and that plot is executed poorly. There are elements of soft horror, angst, lighthearted comedy, a sprinkling of romance, and of course the porn, and that's simply too much for such a short film. Culling these elements would have done a great service to the whole. Art (6/10) - The art is decent, there's nothing too offensive but then againit's not a treat either, really. I'll join the others in complaining about Mitsu's design fitting his role awkwardly.
Sound (3/10) - I get it, it's Japanese porn and the uke has to whine and moan constantly. I would have been more forgiving but when my sex scenes are sabotaged with atrociously poor foleys, especially the "almost out of ketchup" blerp, all mercy just evaporates.
Character (5/10) - For a chance there's a main uke I like: tiny and cute perhaps, but well spirited enough to get annoyed and show it. Mitsu's not bad but fails to be memorable.
Enjoyment (2/10) - In this short, there is no rhythm: scenes and moods come and go and transform in a chaotic pace and with little build-up.
Overall (3/10) - I tend to go easy on smut but when the execution is so awkward it sabotages the whole hotness thing, well then, it just doesn't fill its purpose.

This hentai was...interesting. 3/10: Though it is technically seen as "porn without plot", I guess the story has some plot, (it's seen in the first bit of the first episode) but otherwise, not so much. 6/10: The art, however, I actually liked quite a bit. My slight problem was that they had to make Kuuro, the main character, look more feminine, thus making the trope of 'a guy mistaken as a girl 'cause he actually looks like a girl', which is seen in quite a bit of hentai, yaoi, and shounen ai manga and anime. 5/10: Now, the sound was decent, but of course, theuke's moaning tends to get a bit annoying after a while.
4/10: The characters...well, let's just say they tend to get on my nerves after a while, as the sound does. The seme's personality is kind of harsh- slightly using Kuuro as a sex object, just because of an accident, in one of the scenes. (But what can you expect, it is a hentai)
7/10: I, weirdly enough, did enjoy this hentai quite a bit. It's one of those harder-to-find hentai, especially since it is indeed, a shota-con categorized OVA. Comparing it to other hentai in the same category (shota) such as the Boku no Pico franchise, I would probably choose this one over it, despite its light dark themes.
6/10: Overall, I did enjoy this hentai, and I'm pretty glad I came across it!

SM kurokun is one of those hentai that is enjoyable, but does not leave any lasting effects on the viewer. once its over i just feel like i watched a slightly enjoyable, but throwaway OVA, with characters and plot that have no development. i much more enjoyed boku no pico, another anime OVA created by the same studio, but hey i guess its a matter of opinion.

I am DONE with this shotacon stuff. I didnt know it was going to be shotacon when I found it looking through Arinfantasy's site. First of all, I am permanently traumatized with Boku no Pico and it was not smart of me to start watching something without A.) reading the summary B.) checking MAL C.) not even seeing the front cover The plot (2) was thin and it was just another hentai anime that's more fappable than enjoyable to watch. Art (4): There was no eye candy here. Miisu was... not that attractive and Kuro looked like a girl (+1 for cuteness -10 for girly uke) sound (5): Iguess I liked(?) the OP and ED it wasnt too bad yet it wasnt the best. I've heard worse. As for the sex sounds. Typical "ah" moaning sound.
Character (3): I dont get these characters but at the end, there was a bit of back story on those characters. However, Kuro was alittle appealing when he got mad because he actually kicked butt.
Enjoyment (3): I found the entire idea of shotacon really gross and twisted. But it's mainly because of pedophila and my undying hate towards girly ukes. (that's why I joined the non girly uke club)
Overall (3): It was funny at one point and another and other times i just want to punch Miisu because his face annoys me. At other times I cringed because it was so gross (the banana scene and ESPECIALLY the salad scene)

I watch/ read yaoi for PLOT and because I find it fun and interesting seeing two guys go at it. But if the featured event in an anime/manga is to get the other guy into bed, then count me out. The more realistic the characters are, the better. I mean, it's not like I can walk out of my house and see really girly boys. (regardless of age and sexuality)
