For four young men, love and intimacy are in the air, even though they may not be aware of it. Sensitive Pornograph holds within it two tales of sexual romance for two different couples of men. The first is a tale between two manga artists, Seiji Yamada and Sono Hanasaki. Both are familiar with each other's work, though upon meeting each other, Seiji is shocked to find out that Sono is actually a man, ten years his senior. Love quickly blossoms between the two, but will soon be tested when Seiji begins to hear rumors about Sono's past sexual exploits.
In the second tale, Koji Ueno is a part-time pet sitter, hired to take care of a rabbit named Aki for a new client. To Koji's complete surprise though, not only is there no rabbit in the house, but the only thing in the apartment is a bound and gagged man in the closet who says that he is Aki. More troubling than this is that Aki informs Koji that they are both in danger of upsetting the client, and the only way for Koji to get out safely is for them to make love together.
Two stories, four men, and the one emotion of love that unites them all in the new twists their lives have taken.

So, the infamous "Sensitive Pornograph". Here we go. Let's be honest about one thing first off: these are certainly not stand-alone stories. By that, I mean that graphic (no invisi-penis here!) sex scenes aside, the stories, characters, etc, in this OVA are not at all strong enough to stand of their own merits. This is porn, plain and simple. It's porn blissfully devoid of rape and tentacles and bukakke and the other litany of fetishes that are not my fetishes, but it's still porn. That aside, this is one yaoi that is, especially as compared to its contemporaries, blissfully devoid of darqueness and angst. There isno cutting, no suicide attempts, none of that bullshit that, usually, within the context of a yaoi OVA, consists of the meat and bones of a character's... character. There is a scene about ten minutes in where one of the characters indulges in typical angst (oh, he's just using me; he's just a slut), and as soon as the other character confirms that he IS loose, lightning crashes and it starts raining. And I snorted up my cranberry juice. And the second story, with the boy going to pet-sit the "rabbit"--whatever. Said "rabbit", henceforth the nubile and handcuffed Aki-chan, is a DEAD RIPOFF of Ayanami Rei from Evangelion in male form, especially at the end of the story when he is bandaged up and has the same damn head bandage. And I think there was some magical soul-affirming secks involved in there, not entirely sure, though I can see why a sex slave would find it gratifying to realize that somebody cares about HIS pleasure as well. Whatever.
Those foibles aside, I admit I have to bump the OVA up to "above average" just because despite its faults, it avoids so many of the laughably-bad yaoi cliches plaguing the genre. The characters, for the most part, don't take themselves too seriously and seem to realize that they are involved in utterly absurd situations, which I appreciate--because they are. And, for something that is blatantly porn, that ain't bad.
I do have major issues with the music. It's HORRID. It's this generic synth-acoustic crap that made me want to shut off the speakers. I know porn is not known for its original soundtracks, but DAMN this was bad. It's like a throwback to everything that was wrong with early-90s anime soundtracks.
Artwork--because let's be honest, again; in porn visuals are important--is the most solid aspect of the OVA by far. It's pretty high-quality. It looks like old-school cel-shading done right. And there's a lack of the ludicrous invisi-penis common to so much yaoi. If you're going to draw porn, dammit, draw it right. Go big or go home. All the boys look like they need to eat a sandwich or something--the rabbit-boy looks damn near anorexic--but I like slender boys, so this is okay.
All in all, this is one of the most solid titles in the genre for what it is--porn. Gay porn. Men fucking men. That is to say, it isn't gauge-your-eyes-out / laughably bad. If yaoi tickles your fancy, this is one of the best titles you can find. If it doesn't, there is absolutely nothing here to interest you. Go home and play Super Smash Bros. or something.

Stangely enough, this is one of my favorites. I'm not really sure why that is, except that everything comes together in such a way as to make me want to see the video over and over in its entirety. The video consists of two separate stories. (That's two of the seven stories of the original manga.) Although not long, each story is set up and the plot is developed enough to establish an interest in something other than the sex--i.e., the characters and their situations.Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of sex of the male-male kind. Although explicit, it isn't so explicit that you wonder why you're concentrating on that body part so much, and the emotion of both partners before, after, and during the sex is portrayed in such a way as to be moving. The first story is told from a first person perspective, getting you more deeply into the mind of one character. In the short time allowed for plot and character development that may be beneficial, but you still get to know the other character somewhat as well. Also that means you can directly experience the emotion of that character. The plot is developed adequately, and resolves satisfyingly, but not without some plot conflict, so the path is a bit unpredictable.
The art is attractive and the men are attractive too. One other reviewer did comment that the ukes (especially) look alike, and I agree, but there is significant personality difference (and hair color!) to distinguish them. Everything is given a golden glow which has a romantic effect. The bodies look like men's bodies, even if somewhat young ones. Maybe one other problem (which is relatively minor in this video compared with other similar ones that I've seen) is the use of static images and repetitive sequences, but it's not too annoying here, and the action still moves along well enough.
I rarely find a problem with sound in these videos, maybe my ear isn't subtle enough? But there are no overt annoyances, in any case.
The characters are quite well developed for such a short time, and nobody is underage, which is a nice change of pace. All the characters are likeable as well.
Overall I get a really romantic happy feel from watching this video. It's sweet and sexy at the same time without being sappy. I'd recommend this to all Yaoi fans and anyone else with an open mind.

Well, well, now this title drew me in with, well, its title. Come on (all pun intended), an anime called 'Sensitive Pornograph'?? I had to see that!! And see I did. What did I see? I saw an anime with a weak story--nay, TWO weak stories. But that's not what was important, now, was it? It's hentai. We want boy on boy lovin'. And there was a lot of that. One followed a mangaka or a light novelist (I am still not sure of his occupation) and his lover, a sort of whorish but reformed quiet young man. The second story, and my favourite, followed a petsitter who certainly didn't have to sit any pets. More like the 'pet' sat on him, but let's not get into that.
The art was all right, I couldn't really tell the two guys from the first story apart, but the second was better. Also, the art seemed a little inconsistent in terms of the sizes of...stuff. But the animation was pretty good; this is a hentai, so the sex scenes were animated pretty well, from anal to oral and all the stuff in between.
The characters weren't really developed since this hentai was so short, but at least they weren't annoying or stupid.
Overall, I think this was a decent hentai with a few moments of unfabulousness stopping it from being very good.

I was prepared to see a lot of sex scenes in this yaoi anime, and I'm glad to say that although it does have a lot its pretty well made and it uses these blurred style in hiding the um..private parts, hahaha...The characters are cute though, with the usual style of making one of the guys more feminine than the other. Story-wise, its pretty simple -- two guys met and develop an attraction for each other, then has the usual fights between couples and in the end patch it up in the end..its cute if you're into the guy-guy love story. I was surprised thishas a second story, or is it like a bonus one? I found the second one a bit bolder than the first, with a surprising scenario about a pet sitter who found a binded naked guy who he thought was a rabbit! Crazy, thats for sure, and a bit sad though since the naked guy was forced there by a guy whom he loved but abuses him. In the end he ended the relationship and the sitter and him met once more in school. Oh, and the sitter kinda reminds me of Hideki in Chobits hehehe..this one is not for those easily shocked!

I'm a guy, and mostly straight, so I'm not quite sure what convinced me to check out this OVA. I've seen a couple other episodes of yaoi over the years, but "Sensitive Pornograph" was definitely better than those others. This OVA is one episode, and the episode is split in half. Each half tells a different story with different characters. The characters in both stories have likeable personalities and are attractive looking. The first story is a romance, and the characters act a bit more normal/realistically than the characters in the second story. However, the second story is more interesting in terms of what actually happens. Compared tomost hentai the characters in Sensitive Pornograph were above average. The story was simple, fairly well-executed, but still pretty much average.
The art is good and the sex scenes were pretty hot. The second story got me surprisingly interested in what was happening so the sex scenes were extra enjoyable. I only really have two complaints about the art. One, the blow jobs didn't look wet enough imo. Two, they came close to showing my favorite angle for guy on guy action but they chose not to. From my limited yaoi watching experience I really enjoy seeing "Doggy Style" sex from a low, side view. You not only get to see the guy going in but you also see how the receiving guy is hard and his thing flops back and forth. This OVA gets close to showing that hot angle but instead just uses a full side view so you can't see the flopping or anything about that area because it is blocked by a leg. (would probably cost more time/money to animate the better angle ha)
Anyway, the art was good but still pretty much average.
The sound was fine, it didn't stand out but that's average for hentai.
I don't watch yaoi very often but I did enjoy this quite a bit. Even if you're a straight guy you could probably enjoy this if you're willing to try it in the first place. There are two stories so I'd recommend giving each a chance if you're going to check this out.

After my traumatizing experience with Boku no Pico, I thought I would never step foot in the X rated side of yaoi. But somehow, I winded up here... Obviously, most people have heard of the oh-so-famous: Boku no Pico but a little step back is this: Sensitive Pornograph Unless, you are one of the few people who has never heard of this. This hentai-yaoi is not like any other you have ever seen. This is very very graphic YOU ACTUALLY SEE THE CROTCH. No white out, no invisable penis here, no blurred out lines, and full on sex! Story... Not exactly the most original. scratch that. It's pretty darncliché. Plot line from my POV: meet, sex, sex, love, rumor, doubt, make up, sex, sex, the end, (as an extra) add humor.
And for the second story, It was also so obvious what was going to happen. Plot for this one... meet, sex, sex, sex, love (?)... random ending...

I have no complains about the art. But I can complain about the lighting and how I felt like some colours were too bright (or is it just me...) or the part where they have sex tended to be very light.
Was there even music? (went back and checked) Oh god the music is horrible! What is this? Maybe some 80s or 90s music. The soundtrack consisted of... some cheesy porn music and other things I could not tell
There was not alot of space and time to add in character development or backgrounds. Seeing that these did come from oneshots.
Dont expect much here. This is my 2nd gay porn type video and seeing all these low scores on most of these yaoi anime, you probably will expect more gay porn reviews around.

**This is my first review so bear with me.** Basically, all Sensitive Pornograph is is porn. There's no two ways about it. It's not censored like regular yaoi. If you're just now getting into this genre, or want to get into it, do NOT start out with this. Watch this when you're more interested in the genre or more numb to what yaoi has to offer. Since it is only one OVA, it didn't have much of a story.. at all. That's why I gave the story a five. That's the nicest I could give it. The art was great. All the boys involved were very cute andthe artists were very well at drawing, well, penis'. I gave that an eight.
I gave the sound a nine. It wasn't like a sloppy yaoi/hentai that just has wet, sloshing noises (cringes) and groaning/moaning noises that were louder than necessary and all over the place. (Unless you like that?) And the actors doing the voices were great. No doubt they'd have to be, having to do something like that. (I'd feel awkward out of my mind). However, it's a nine because I felt the music in it was really horrible..
The characters were an eight because they were all sweet and cute in their own way. (In my own opinion.) There were also little funny moments through the two stories so that was enjoyable.
The enjoyment was an eight because personally the second story bored me. Not to tears.. but I feel like I would've enjoyed it more if it was a little more developed and longer as the first story.
Overall I gave Sensitive Pornograph an eight (because sensitive it is not.)
If you enjoy hardcore yaoi or enjoy porn, this one is the right one for you.
(When I decided to watch it I didn't realize it wasn't censored.)

First, let's go over the scores I gave this, because, let's face it, this is NOT a plot driven bit of delightful yaoi goodness. Then we'll get into the meat of the review without spoiling everything in it. For the story, since again, this isn't a plot driven anime, I gave it a 7. For the shortness of the two stories, they did really good with what plot they did use to enhance the happies, so yes, a 7. The art is some of the most beautiful I've seen when it comes to such animes, so I gave it a 9. The sound was good, so I gaveit to a 9.
The characters are actually really are rather relatable (even when they're not...doing other things) and well characterized. You'll be surprised at how much a moan can tell you in this.
My enjoyment is, surprising to me, a 10 and my overall is a 9.
So as I've said a couple of times (and others have said the same thing) this is NOT a plot driven anime. Not really. There is some plot and enough that I've seen some writers of the fandom take off with it and build whole stories around what is pretty much animated...well...porn.
It's an animated porn, but with a name like Sensitive Pornography, that's not very surprising.
It is two stories with two different Male/Male pairings (if you're looking in yaoi and this surprises you why are you here?) and it is rather on the graphic side of things.
I have to say that I like the first story more than the second, but that's mostly because in the second story the sex is pretty much one giant block while in the first story it's broken up with a touch of sadness going on between the two characters. And a bit of plot.
The second is less plot, more smut and humor.
Overall it's an enjoyable experience for those of us who like males moaning together and worth the time to watch it. I watch it often when my creative juices (erotica writer thank you very much) need a quick, delightfully lovely refill.

Yes, this is amazing. Its fujoshi fodder at its best! Cute ukes, mild BDSM and a comedy. I hate when gay guys take BL series like this, and use them to support their "gayness" and "pride" and other bullshit like that. Like, I've seen guys (unfamiliar with yaoi) go 'eww, gay porn' when they find out the uke is actually a man (yeah, Sono looks like a 22 year old woman) ... and the gay guys go 'yeah, this is made for us, thats why' What a joke, its obviously a female-oriented title (just look at Digital Works Sensitive Pornograph fan page) Its full of bishounen sex and shojo flowersand beams of light galore.
And I despise when gay guys grope eachother thinking I like it just because I'm a hardcore yaoi fan-girl. This gay guys going to yaoi becuase it supports their gay crap needs to stop. If you want gay porn, then watch some F&#&*-ing GAY PORN! Yaoi is not gay porn, its for women.
Now, when I say that, I don't mean I guys can't read or watch it (or even write it), its just I like to keep the specialness of realistic portrayals of homosexuality out of my Boys' Love manga/anime. Good? Okay.
Now onto the review.
I appreciated Sakura Ashika's Sensitive Pornograph (on which the OAV is based), but not the OAV since the stories are too compacted and rushed. Plus only two stories were animated, the 'Sensitive Pornograph' story and the 'Bedroom Trophy' story, which are the title story and the fifth story, and also the most sexual in the book.
The manga is not graphic like the OAV (okay, it is graphic, but doesn't have wierd H-ish screenshots of the penises and anuses etc.
The manga is very cute and beautiful, you should read it.
(I hav more to say, but I don't feel like typing it.)

Rate of a 5 seen via english sub censorship: Creative yet not destroyed. There are two separate stories. The rate of 5 was for both as a whole. Personally, i preferred greatly the first story (manga) as apposed to the second ('rabbit'). First story is from a romantic p.o.v. A what if take on things. Seconds story is darker. That from which of a hero and villain. I will give props to the writer for this story. If you did not read to much into what you were watching you would not suspect the outcome. Definitely a creative flare there. Both stories had some humor which lightened the mood. Also,you will find your selves rooting for both sets of characters. Even though you might not agree on the second. Realistically, that is how it would end.

With a touch of spicy and a lot of sweet romance, Sensitive Pornograph was a great and pretty enjoyable yaoi ova. It's about two stories that together gives you a wonderful feeling of finale. Both of the stories are complety when talking about genres: both have a bit of drama, a bit of comedy, of the lovely spicy on the relashionships of BL... I liked the second one more, because, well... it was really creative how the author draw the characters, putting a little of S&M's relationship and a huge dose of surreal things that in real life we would just say "it's a HUGE coincidence!" I justthink it's a anime that a yaoi lover must watch.
