"Massacre is never the reason to become strong. This word 侠 reads "chivalrous hero". If a person must defeat another in order to prove themselves, they've already lost. The right part of this word reads "human". It represents the actions and behaviours of a person. And on the right, the word reads "double-layered". It is made up of a big "human" with two little "humans". What it means is that a strong person should help those who are small and frail." Firstly - Season 3 is absolutely the best season so far. I would want it to be its own series almost, because the quality improvedso much. So, if anyone thinks that season 1-2 animation isn't as good, then at least try out season 3. What I love the Most The values of the story is what I love the most. They talk about chivalry, which is a topic discussed a lot in wuxia series. They talk about what it means to be strong, that it's not just being on top and winning others, but it means to help people in the world. They really went in great depth in explaning these things. The part with the Leader is so touching too, in season 3. Which I won't spoil but it's one of the best moments - Episode 6 and 19 are my all time favourite episodes in Season 3. About Qin's Moon Qin's Moon spreads over 7 seasons in total, with one releasing approximately each year. Right now, season 4 is currently being created and will be broadcasting around August 2011. What is Wuxia? - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wuxia The history - learning the awesome historical events in a fantasy type of way. It makes history not boring and really interesting. The Story This is a series that is based on historical events from the Qin Dynasty. Season 2-3 are great stories but season 3 is absolutely stunning. It literally moved from great to epicness, especially in the story contents and characters. Animation Improved so much at season 3. It really stepped up a great deal, I am absolutely crazy over season 3, it can very well be its own show. The way the expressions are drawn, especially on Tianming and the way he smiles sometimes makes it so funny or adorable, it almost feels like watching a whole new show. Music The songs are fantastic, some of my favourites are the instrumental version of Moonlight, Snow Jade Flower and Magic Music Box. The sad songs are always some of the best. Brilliant music, one of the OSTs I would never change. Character I love the characters, some of my favourite characters are the three main. Tianming - So funny and humorous, I love his eagerness and hot-headedness. He really is a great main character. Yue-er - Adorable! Love her dearly, she is so smart, just like a younger version of Huang Rong (from Legend of he Condor Heroes) I love how she can figure things out when it seems impossible. It also helps that in s2, she is voiced by my favourite voice acress Huang Yiqing (also voicing Xiaoqi from Seven of the Sky and Huang Rong in Legend of the Condor Heroes). Shao Yu - He is an awesome main character, I love that he always wants Tianming to call him big brother, he is really righteous and mature sometimes, but he's just a really warm character in general, very supportive. I love all the other characters too, but it would take ages to write them all. Comedy This is something I'm extremely impressed about - especially in season 3. They really made it so funny sometimes, especially Jing Ke moments, and he is just so similar to Tianming that his scenes makes me laugh so much. I know I go on a lot about season 3 but honestly season 3 itself is one of the best series I have ever seen. Everything about it is so perfect, that I wouldn't change a thing. I love Qin's Moon and recommend it to everyone.
"All of you evil bastards who only know how to sneak attack. I'm not going to be defeated by all of you! Uncle once said, a strong person must make their friends and kin feel safe and free of worry..." -Season 4, Episode 33 The Legend of Qin tells the story of the fall and rise of the Qin dynasty, and during this time, Jing Tianming, along with his uncle and friends, struggle to find peace in this dangerous time in the world. In the Legend of Qin, anybody will be amazed by themartial arts, fantasy, action-adventure, romance, and history that intertwine together to tell the story of not only Jing Tianming, but his companions. With the combination of the story line, characters, animation, and sound, the Legend of Qin is one of the best Wuxia's of all time. Having a good story line is a need for anything. With no outstanding, amazing story line, it's like having peanuts without the butter. In the Legend of Qin, there's definitely a story. From episode one until episode thirty-four in season four, the story will captivate anybody, and have everyone begging for more. Jing Tianming is my favorite character throughout the Legend of Qin. However, Old Man Ban, Gao Yue, Ge Nie, and everyone else will surely captivate your heart. Each character has their own unique personality and their own piece to play. The story just doesn't involve Jing Tianming, but has other main characters that will make you laugh, cry, scream, but most importantly, happy. The animation is one of the key points of the Legend of Qin. Ever since I saw episode one from season one, I fell in love. Even though I'm watching the Legend of Qin on my computer screen, I feel as though I see Tianming and the others in reality. As each season ends and a new one begins, the animation only gets better and better, and sometimes I forget that the Wuxia isn't real, and I'm actually in reality. I always hated the sound in anything. I never paid any attention to music in general, but the music here changed my viewpoint. I used to skip the opening and ending songs, and would get annoyed if music played while a character was talking. After actually paying attention to the music, it isn't half bad. Although the music is great, the music didn't contribute to my liking of the show. In conclusion, I fell in love with the Legend of Qin, and I recommend all anime/wuxia lovers to watch this.
