Whispering sweet lullabies into the ears of the viewers, Makura no Danshi presents the watcher with an experience of comfort. Each short episode features a different boy who will listen to the audience and hold them when they need it. There are boys to suit all tastes: Merry is a gentle brown-haired boy; Sousuke Tanaka is a mature working man; Kanade Hanamine is a high school student who acts tough, but is frightened by mere spiders; Eiji Kijinami is a sore loser who looks like a punk, but has a tender heart; the shy Ryuushi Theodore Emori loves stargazing; Yuu Maiki is a freshman with delusions of grandeur; Haruto Enokawa is an energetic 5-year-old who refuses to sleep without a bedtime story; Nao Sasayama is a hip college student that is addicted to his smartphone; Shirusu Mochizuki is a librarian that treasures both books and book lovers; Yonaga and Yayoi Chigiri are siblings who are learning flower arrangement; and Yuuichirou Iida is a humorous old man who runs an oden stall. Though the watchers may be troubled with various issues in life, these boys will softly talk about themselves and coax the audience members into revealing their problems. All the boys have kind hearts and will make the viewers feel special and loved. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

alright, i've never written a review on here but i'm drinking and this one has earned it. the original concept described was pretty interesting and worth checking out: pretty anime boys are gonna talk at you like they;re beside you in bed. and if you see just the op you might actually think this isn't going to be bad. so wrong. this is show is a beautiful trainwreck. rather than have the boys just tell stories about their day or something, they're trying to talk at you. and it's not only rhetorical questions. if this dora the explorer "shout map!" vibe wasn't weird enough the camera isjumping around into undesired close ups of fairly simple (OFTEN TERRIFYING) faces. i can't describe what about every character's face is so goddamn spooky - i think it's something in the mouth and just... the way they draw the eyes? - but my skin cRAWLS. i think it's the mouths. one minute he's asking you about your day and RIGHT when you're about to start telling your computer screen all about it using the silence provided, HE'S THERE. SO CLOSE. STARING. one of them told you to be quiet and listen to his music then they had no music play - it was just a still holding a violin in silence i f****n lost it i swear to god i get giddy when i see the new episode is out because i KNOW i am guaranteed 4 minutes of an ab workout as i cringe and curl in fits of laughter and secondhand embarrassment. it's absolutely surreal how creepy it is to watch and in that regard i highly recommend it - i think everyone should take 4 minutes out of their life to watch something that will inexplicably flip your stomach a little. it's fun. it's an experience. story: 2/10? there isn't really one art: idk 3/10? terrifying faces and they don't really move much in general character: 2.5/10 they're all tropes but you can't expect depth in 3 min of show (actually 3 of them aren't the worst- like food stall guy is p cool) ability to put you to sleep (what seems to be its goal): 0/10 enjoyment: a bizarre 6/10
First of all, this is obviously geared at girls, much like how most ecchis are geared at boys, so already there is a dichotomy here that should tell you in advance if this show is or isn't for you. That being said, I am a man, and while Makura no Danshi was not a complete and total failure in the entertainment department, it crashes and burns in the objective department. Literally, there is no OST to speak of besides the OP and ED; It's like the whole world is muted while these guys are talking even if there should be something like an instrument playing. All you are doing for the duration of this anime is hearing boys of varying ages and backgrounds speaking to you directly about nothing important, a lot like how Dora the Explorer does. Personally, I do not feel like being treated like a child and having a bunch of 2D boys trying to break the third wall and act like I want to bang them, not to mention I'm implied to be a girl several times. I'll admit that I had a decent time pretending I was gay and picking a candidate to be my fake gay husband in the end, because that's what the anime wants you to do. But I couldn't care less to memorize anyone's names since most of them only ever make one appearance, and by and all everyone is largely forgettable anyway. The very average art and animation didn't help anyone either. The most redeeming quality about this show is its short episode length since it won't waste a ton of time, but even then I recommend all guys stay as far away as possible from this anime, unless you want to have a fun time exploring your sexuality. If I was giving this a score more for entertainment, it'd be 2 or 3/10, but all things considered, I fail to see why I should give this anything besides 1/10.
Please don't watch this. It's for your own good. Trust me. I saw other reviews that started negatively and thought, "hey, a lot of people don't really get short episode anime. A lot of people don't like first person stuff. A lot of people don't like fanservicey guys." etc. etc. I didn't believe them. But please believe me. I went into this thinking I should give it a chance and that I might end up liking it. I came out with something strange that made me uncomfortable and unmotivated to watch any anime as a whole. The specifics? Let's begin with the 'story'. Simply put, there is none. It's just a simple compilation of kinda ASMR with a bunch of random guys. Don't expect a plot. The little 'story' even introduced is just parts of the characters. As for the art, some of it was decent, while other art just seemed a little creepy. There are strange closeups where the characters are just staring into your soul, and moments when you feel like the animators just got tired and threw something on the screen. Sound was something I had a lot of problems with, especially when one of the episodes had a violinist. He tells the watcher he'll play an amazing song for them-- and then we're rewarded with a dramatic, silent still? And then he suddenly goes "Okay hope you liked it" or something of the sort. They didn't even invest in violin music, simply put. It was pretty pathetic. The opening was pretty strange too, on top of which there's a lot of shots with absolute silence as the character stares in random directions, and sometimes straight at you. It's a little unsettling. The characters are the only thing there is an abundance of in this show, and needless to say, there was no development or reality about them. The stories of the characters don't make much sense sometimes, and a lot of the things they said came off as assaulty and creepy instead of romantic. On top of which, the characters were all just random stereotypes. (OH ALSO ONE OF THEM IS A CHILD. GROSS GUYS.) I didn't enjoy this at all. I started it because I thought, "hey, it'll only take me less than an hour to get through it, right??" Theoretically, that's how long it took me to actually watch it, but I spent days trying to force myself to finish it because it was just that terrible with no chance of getting better. I would recommend this if you: like Japanese ASMR and plan not to watch the screen and instead just listen to it (and you don't know Japanese) I would NOT recommend this if you: are looking for something reverse-haremy, are expecting something hot or cute If you want something like this but good, just go read a X Reader fanfic babe. Have a great day everyone!
Before anything, I suggest you look up 'ASMR' before you watch this anime. The concept is the same since this anime is to 'heal' your tired heart. I really like the concept of this anime cause it is very similar to ASMR and I was honestly surprised with the awesome outcome. Story: 8/10 A simulation from a realistic point of view with different characters. The content is mostly reciprocal and it is really fun to get along with the characters as they're trying to converse with you. Art: 9/10 The art is very common for a bi-shounen characters so it was good. Sound: 10/10 Earphones required. The seiyuus' performances will notlet you down. The line up is pretty strong and with this kind of anime, the voices really play an important role to draw the interest of the viewers. Character: 7/10 Characters are quite unique in a way it is different from each other. Not much character development, just an ideal conversation between you and the characters. Enjoyment: 9/10 I enjoy the anime a lot because I just love the idea of having someone with such soothing voice and talking to you casually. It gave me a sense of appreciation and encouragement even from an artificial setup. Overall: 9/10 The concept itself is new and this is the only anime that I saw with this kind of idea. The story was made well done ;considering young or working adults as their target audience. It was a refreshing piece and I find the story for each episode is interesting in its own way.
Makura no Danshi AKA 'Lonely Otaku's Looking For Men' (guilty as charged) But no, in all seriousness this is one of those anime's you want to watch just to relax and enjoy the characters. (because fan service) It is also a very peculiar anime in a way, because throughout the anime there is no sound. Only the guy talking. The opening, naturally has a song and everything, but when it comes to actual sound during the episodes, there is none. It's very weird, but at the same time makes you want to focus on the voice talking more. The art, however, is not as good inmy opinion.. It's quite simple is all. To kind of sum it all up: Makura no Danshi is an anime where you can enjoy 4 minutes of a guy who is 100% your type and awaken your inner fangirl for a short moment. Now I will have to disappoint you otaku's, only a few episodes actually take place in a bed with the guys shirtless :( Such a disappointment. Still a 100% husbando anime.
I get it, not everyone will like this type of thing, but let me give an honest review from the pov of a on again off again otome fan. Over-all :7/10 The characters are very diverse, the 'plot' is not cohesive purposefully. None of the characters refer to each others story lines etc. ON PURPOSE. If you have a hard time imagining what this show is, it's like a fully animated version of Situation Karashi (Situation BF) Mobile game. I'm not 100% sure what the genre of this type of thing is called except just 'Otome', but the point of these types of things is to relaxyou, distract you, and/or touch your soul in a way. Drama/Anime boys don't exist. Men in anime that will whisk you away and protect you from the harsh world don't exist (or are in very short supply). With the way that the world is built, the need for escapism and distraction is very real and very profitable. It's not possible for me to get my perfect type in real life, so why not simulate the experience? This series is part of the 2.5 dimension, in a place similar to Maid/Butler cafes, and Disney world. It makes your heart flutter and for a moment you can pretend that you don't have a mundane lack-luster existence. NOW THEN! This Anime is successful in the situation simulation, but a few of the characters seem a bit forced. The dialogue is sometimes too predictable and the animation in the first few episodes lacked personality. (Sōsuke Tanaka, Co-worker San, was so stiff I almost didn't want to watch episode 3 tbh) Later on in the episodes I think the creators really got a handle on bringing life to the animation and dialogue- too bad it was almost over by that point. - As far as the controversial 5 year old, he's actually really cute. I don't think the intention behind him is supposed to be sexual, but rather have it be calming to those who desire their own children, but don't have the time/means to care for them. He seemed to be like a very cute pretty eyed cousin, or nephew. In the line of 'energizing' he seemed to effortlessly raise spirits by just being a kid. He wasn't put in any sexy situations or anything like that. I do feel that maybe the makers could have put him in a different series though to avoid the confusion. Really the only ones who were overtly sexual were the twins, who I'd like to know the background for. I'd like to know the backgrounds for all of the characters actually. I can see most of these guys getting their own spin-off anime that could be successful. Final verdict: Need more episodes, more time with each of the guys. Get the kid out of there, and maybe replace him with someone older. He felt too out of place (still cute, but not consistent) within the context of all the other characters. I would watch it again. I might not recommend it to a friend though.
It took me a ton of breaks to finish this harrassment anime, and now that i've finished it, i can finally say how awful this is. The main point of this anime is basically that you have boys talking to you while you're supposed to be sleeping? It's very confusing, and I honestly don't know why the creator of this anime wanted to make this. I don't know who is going to enjoy this, but I sure didn't. The episodes are simple. It starts off with a preview, like the boy talking to you, then the 1 minute long intro which is absolutely ridiculous given the episodesare 4 minutes long, then you have a little picture showing the boy's name and his description, and then the guy starts talking to you. And for such a simple anime, how is it so bad?? First of all, the characters are creepy, weird, and make you feel creepy too. In the first episode, there was kind of a jumpscare where the guy's face was just super close and still for a few seconds before going back to normal. In the tenth episode it felt like I was being kidnapped by two creepy ass twins. In the seventh episode, the boy was a literal CHILD. He was 5 YEARS OLD. And his description said he was "hot"? He looked like a baby, not hot. Some of the characters weren't as bad as the others. The one in the library episode wasn't that creepy, just kind of weird. Watching it didn't make me cringe like the rest, but still a little bit. But sometimes their faces are just... weird. At one point the boy from the 3rd episode was supposed to play you violin, but there wasn't even violin, it was just a picture of him holding one. Seriously, the creator has something against music. The episodes were kind of boring, at some points the animators got bored and just put still images. They weren't moving at all, just a still image. Sometimes they would get up in your face and it would be really close to the camera. I didn't really understand the last episode, it was basically just the first guy but babyish and littler. Not much happened at all, it was just weird. That's all this anime is. Weird. The art was actually not bad. The first character was really creepy and ugly and so were a few others, but not all of them were bad. It's really just wasted on this cringy anime. The art has a lot of potential. You would expect something better from this, but no. Storyline: 1/10 cause there is none. All you do is sleep and get woken up. Characters: 2/10. They're terrible. Nothing goes on, just creepy and weird. Art: 7.5/10. It's not that bad, just wasted talent. Some of them were just ugly though. Sound: 2/10 cause there was no. music. Literally none. Just the guys talking. Overall rating: 2/10. The only reason I didn't give it 1 was really just for the art. I would recommend this to nobody. This is something that nobody is going to like except for teen anime-obsessed girls. You will not like it, please avoid it.
Do you have a stuffed animal and sleep with it? Then you probably gonna like this anime. All this "pillow guys" are the stuffed animal with whom you sleep. This is amazing, they put in anime all of this. Your teddy bear can be to you a friend, a boyfriend, a little brother or just a guy you don't know, but he always are there when you go to sleep and comforts you. This anime reminded me of this, thats the part of the anime that i liked. Most of them are scary, doesn't have any sound other than the guy's voice and don't have a plot, but i likedthis show. Sorry for my bad english, isn't my native language.
Makura no Danshi, an anime that's made purely for the entertainment of women (or homosexual man). It is made in the first person point of view where the 'attractive' boys speak to you. It can be a pastime for you if you are super bored and have absolutely nothing better to do. What I enjoyed in this short series is that many different characters are presented to fit the 'type' of man that you like. But be warned: -Most of the male characters look like they want to stab you -The art and style is pretty poorly made. The animations are very limited. Most of the time, it's justa picture with mouth moving, or nothing moving at all. (Yes, just a picture with audio) -There is no story line or plot at all -The episodes are terribly short with the theme song taking up half of the episode.
You may be wondering why a dora the explorer style show about sleeping with different guys would be any good, well to put it simply; it isn't. At least not in my opinion. The reason it got an 8 from me is because it's so cringy that it's actually hilarious and what's worst is that it takes itself super seriously! I understand that some people enjoy being hit on by five year old fictional boys (yes, i'm not making this up, there is actually a little kid at one point) and i respect that, buuut I personally wouldn't recommend watching this unless you're looking for a fewlaughs. Wether you're thinking about watching this cus you're actually lonely or just cus you wanna get a few kicks out of it, feel free to explore this incredibly cringeworthy show.
Do you guys remember when I reviewed the show ‘Sleeping with Hinako’ at all? Well, this is pretty much the male version to that show. I’m not saying its bad at all; this one just seems to have more class involved. The show shows a new character each episode and a different stereotype doing different things. The first episode is a cute boy lying with you in bed, and then the next show is a coworker sitting in the same car as you after you drank too much and so on. It’s like it is catering to a large variety of people, not just oneage range. In one episode even, they have a high schooler and your put into the shoes of one of his classmates. No matter what though, all the characters act very similar, like they have a crush on you, sometimes acting a bit teasing. I don’t really know what else to say on the characters as their personalities are way to similar and you only see them for one episode that is about 4 minutes long. All the characters feel like they would be right at home in a dating sim and would have been really cool if they were a bit more interactive… and no, not in that way. There are times the men just sit and seem to pretend to listen to you, giving little comments or consoling you with words like ‘please don’t cry’, ‘you work to hard and should relax’, or just nodding and looking intently at you like they could actually hear what you are saying. This would of actually been much better as a interactive voice game instead of an anime as the little pauses that the characters do feel slightly creepy, like when Dora the Explorer just stands there watching you with a demented smile waiting for you to repeat what she just said. (Sorry, I have a little niece now and some of those children shows feel creepy.) While the atmosphere was rather calming and the guys seemed interesting, It wasn’t that big of a show. I did like how different this was compared to the Hinako shows and I’m not talking about how its male verses female depictions. I’m bi, meaning that I’m drawn to both genders so that is not really the problem for me. It was the fact this was actually rather relaxing where as Hinako just felt like she was sort of forced on you… Well, there was one episode that made me get creeped out slightly and that was Episode 10, Flower Arrangement Danshi. Literal shivers went down my spine for that one and not in the good way. The artwork is really beautifully done, though characters are pretty much stereotypical in design. If they are from school they are wearing school outfits and looking slightly like a punk, if it’s a businessman he is dressed in a suit and so on. The opening is actually very misleading as I thought I would be tearing this show down for how sexualized the characters were made out to be. The opening has many scantily clad men, some even naked, with the opening that I thought that was how this show was going to go. But it didn’t go that way at all. Lots of time it’s a lot of talking while the camera pans over a still image (And yes, all the characters have pretty much stayed clothed), sometimes the mouth isn’t even moving while the guy is saying anything. The artwork is pretty but not much animation was put into it and I guess that’s why they could get away with how awesome the art is. The sound… um… The only music we get is the opening song which I’m not sure what it’s called or what they are saying but it is rather awesome. Other then that, we only get the characters saying their lines and since its all in Japanese right now, everything is a bit mysterious. The bad thing about this is that there is one episode we are faced with a violin player and yet when he plays the violin for you, you hear nothing but him talking. It’s rather disappointing as I would have loved if they would actually put music where it needs to be. Sure we don’t need music for times like the coworker, but if a character revolves around music, then put some music in it. Actually, there kind of is no sound affects either at all now that I think about it. I don’t understand why they would push so much into the artwork and the voice acting and not have sound affects. So the show isn’t bad, but it is kind of pointless in a way. I am not going to lie and say that there is a major plot, I’m not going to say that it was amazing and you should watch this, and I’m not going to say its worth buying at all. I will however say that it’s a so-so anime that has a way different feel then most shows that are out there. Watch it if you like and if you can find it for free, but if not, you’re really not missing much out of it. It’s pretty much fan service for girls… or men who like other men. Right now, you can watch them on Crunchyroll in fact so it should be easy to take a look at.
where should i even start i really don't know what the hell did I just watched but this anime is supposed to make you fall asleep beside an anime boy now my review about this anime is the art: tbh the art is fine so I give it a 6 or 7/10 and now I'm going to give my honest opinion about the episodes ep1: episode 1 was the most cringy episode everep2: same as the first episode ep3: I think this man was supposed to make me fall asleep by playing the violin but no there isn't any violin sound in the first place ep4: I really don't know how was this episode even supposed to make me fall asleep I was in my nap and he literally started talking to me ep5:I am completely speechless about this episode ep6:..... ep7:I am starting to feel like a pedophile talking to this child ep8: tbh not a bad episode I'm being honest here so the character was actually hot ngl and this episode looked like I'm actually having a conversation with him. ep9: that's actually a pretty nice episode ep10: i just wanna die ep11:I am starting to feel like he is the pedophile here that's gross ep12:I know marry in the first episode was so cringy but he was actually acting cute in this episode and out of nowhere he suddenly turned into a sheep I am not going to recommend this weird anime it's your choice if you want to watch it you can watch it if you don't want it's still your choice but better off not watching it, it's really cringy and I don't recommend this but the application versions of these anime is way more cringy than this so I don't ever suggest you to even look up a one because that's going to be the worst thing you've done in your life
So I watched this purely because I like watching random old anime and I like the not-pretty yet colorful style, and that already says a lot about what I looked for in this anime. I'm a guy and to be honest it's always better for me if the characters fail to make it romantic between themselves and the viewers, making this more of a success than a failure. A lot of people mentioned the anime being "weird" and "creepy", which is what I call CURSED and that's beautiful. The worst thing in this anime was me being misgendered but that's fine, I just felt bad forany girls who watched the twin episode 😭 I saw many people disliked the characters because they were all tropes. I didn't! Wouldn't you be sad if you only got to see a really cool and unique character for only 4 minutes? It's much better to have simple but kind-hearted characters for a short time. To finish the review, I enjoyed this. It made me laugh, get awkward, think about what I'd do in some real life situations, relaxed, it was fun. And I got a new track to put in my playlist. Great experience!
The synopsis said that this anime is designed to "heal tired hearts". It has the opposite effect for most people, if you read the other reviews. But I'm one of very few who actually enjoyed being disturbed by those boys while I was trying to take a nap (not like I ever watched this anime when I was under my blankets or anything). This anime is basically one of those "Sleepy Time Boyfriend" games minus the need for you to click a button or touch your phone screen and plus a catchy OP theme. So it has no plot and it doesn't really reveal anythinginteresting about the featured boys. From the shots of the boys in the OP I thought that all the episodes will take place in the bedroom. But no; you find yourself falling asleep in different places... sometimes it's scary. For the characters; personally, I couldn't really get attached to any of the boys, but some were really cute while others made me laugh and some few freaked me out. Some of the CG-ish shots were nice too. The art is generally nice, but something about the eyes bugged me. The eyes made them look tired. I wonder if the boys were the one with tired hearts and we were the ones responsible of healing them. Overall, this anime is all about pointless and harmful fun. The episodes are short, the art is nice, the OP is catchy, the boys say some of the cheesiest and silliest stuff, there is no plot that requires you to work your brain but just asks you to sit down and enjoy pretty boys talking to you about pointless stuff that you'll forget before you hit your bed. Makura no Danshi worked as a nice short break while I try to catch up with the latest episodes of the other heavy and dark anime I'm watching. I'm not totally disappointed, but not really impressed.
most people like to view anime as an art form, and art most often is commentary on something social or political happening or is meant to illicit some kind of emotion of serious thought. the only thing this anime makes me want to do is seriously re-evaluate my whole life and partly consider ending it. there are spoilers but im 99.999% these spoilers will be doing you a great favor. so the anime revolves around the idea that you are going to/have been sleep(ing) with these boys. each episode is a different boy with a different theme. there are only two characters, the boy on screenand "you", the viewer. The whole anime is take from your first person prospective which makes things REALLY weird considering that the characters kind of have dialogue with you the whole idea that you are going to "sleep" with these boys are completely blown out of proportion. essentially, each boy is in a situation where you are going to sleep or something and theres just some weird narrative about that specific boy. there is nothing sexual per say about sleeping with the boys but some of them sure give off that vibe. ironically, none of the episodes actually have you sleeping or in a setting too sleep maybe aside from the first boy and the younger boy (which is a REALLY creepy episode in my opinion). every other boy is just in some random area like in a car or music hall or library. imo none of the boys are attractive and some of them really made me feel more awkward and uncomfortable (shoutout to the twins and the little boy) the art style is kinda on the road to uncanny valley but you will have more things to worry about than that trust me. the one thing that was pretty decent was the intro music. everything else makes me want to bathe myself in bleach :)
So this was an anime that was suppose to get you to sleep? Congrats!!! I fell asleep... This was actually quite horrible to me because of the poor character development....none actually. I really like otome games in general but this was poorly processed. All the monologues/dialogues were the same with very little differences. The types of characters they presented weren't anything special...they were decent but they lacked personality...they seemed like robots trying to get you to sleep...sometimes when it's like 2 PM (that musician guy)...it made no sense. I would say I'm disappointed but I'm actually not. Every time I see an anime made out ofotome game, it's almost always a big fat fail. Somehow, the potential of a story of any otome game gets crushed :/ Too bad.
day 8234709 of being single: watches makura no danshi makura no danshi pros: - a quick + easy watch for when you want to laugh and cry - not your typical horror movie but will horrify you all the same - the voice actors are alright, even if there’s not a huge amount of emotion in their voices - i guess it’s making up for the lack of fanservice tailored towards girls - a variety of characters (they have little actual personality but it’s to be expected with such short episodes) - unique :// hairstyles - character of ep11 recognises he is a disgrace with “i am the king of kings of creepyguys!” makura no danshi cons: - op takes up around 1/4 of a 4min episode - the characters never blink it’s horrific - there’s something weird about the art, it’s just a lil unnerving - a lot of each episode is literally just one still frame,,,, 10/10 for “animation” - (you can tell about 0.1 effort was put into this) - sometimes it goes really close up to their face and it makes you want to cry; contrary to popular belief, people do not throw their bodies very close and then very far to those they are talking to - no soundtrack at all apart from the theme song made especially noticeable by: a) the awkward silences and b) episode three he tells you to listen to his song and there’s just nothingness (deep.) - really awkward silences, dora gone wrong. made worse when there’s literally nothing you can say even if you were feeling engaged. - the art includes a lower lip but no upper lip which is downright stressful - for a show named “pillow boys”, there’s only one character which is in a bed. click baited once again. - episode 10 gave me more of the feeling the characters were going to rape me than gently help me sleep - no clue what age group it's tailored for: one character's canonly 12, another is probably in his thirties? overall: - makura no danshi goes between “this is so bad it’s entertaining” and “this is so extraordinarily bad it’s not even entertaining anymore” - the art makes it a horror movie - would recommend for someone blind - the synopsis is a better read than this show is a watch
I'm sorry but I couldn't take this anime seriously.. (I swear I tried) the monologues are very cheesy and poor written, and the problem is.. it's all about that !! there's literally nothing other than that. it's so bad that it becomes entertaining xD for example there was this one episode when one of them is telling you to listen to him playing violin and nothing plays in the background .. anyway, I recommend this anime to whoever wants to laugh or to get really creeped out,,a try maybe it will be your new thing
It stays true to its purpose, which is to basically be an animated PG-13 otome CD you can find clips of in YouTube, so I expected the cringe attacks. There's absolutely no story at all. Each episode focuses on a different guy trope in a different setting/situation. I wasn't planning on checking this out, but the reviews and the seiyuu cast piqued my curiosity (especially after learning that each episode is at 4 minutes maximum excluding the opening theme). I enjoyed it despite the cringe-fest mainly because watching this reminded me of how much I loved otome CDs back in the day. Also gave me agood laugh. Art is okay, though I find it a bit ironic how this anime is supposed to help girls fall asleep but most of them look like they haven't slept for a whole day with the lines under their eyes. Other sounds aside from the voice acting are nonexistent. If you plan on watching this just for the lulz, go for it but prepare yourself. The next thing he'll be playing is you.
