One day, high school student Michio Kaga attempts to start a strange online game he found while browsing the internet. Instead, he gets transported to a rural village in the game's world, equipped with special skills and an overpowered sword. After collecting his thoughts, he finds himself battling against bandits and soon realizes that he cannot log out. Resigning himself to fate and accepting this reality, Michio sets out on a journey—enjoying his new life, conquering dungeons to earn money, and building a harem to satisfy all his manly desires. "In the beginning, the anime gods created the Heavens and the Earth in the form of Interspecies Reviewers, the "men of culture" anime that would define the new decade of the 2020s. But then came Redo of Healer a year later, which made the earth formless and empty with its over-the-top violence and gore, and darkness covered the deep waters, and the anime gods were hovering over the face of the waters. And the anime gods beckoned, "Let there be light," and there was light. But what they saw is that Isekai Meikyuu Harem's light, now released, was tainted in blood and sexual innuendos, and they separatedthe light from the darkness." - Genesis 1:1-4, if written by the anime gods Out of the shows that aired in the now passing Summer season, it's safe to say that we were all anticipating novelist Shachi Sogano's Isekai Meikyuu Harem a.k.a Harem Labyrinth in Another World for nothing more than to have our seasonal dose of the degenerate taste and feast for the eyes. Well, we got that and more...which basically comes off as "so bad it's good" kind of show where there're a lot of factors working for and against it, and that'll ultimately be the make-or-break point if you do plan on watching this. Well obviously, I did (and so are you), so let's get to it for a breakdown, shall we? So first and foremost, an Isekai works the same way as what you would expect; the Meikyuu a.k.a labyrinth segment being one of a slow burn of grinding for experience; and a harem, which I don't really need to explain it, yes? And this is what casually happens to Michio Kaga, after randomly being Isekai-ed like just any other unassuming protagonist. Except that he instead faces a Seirei Gensouki-like situation of being a newbie but having to commit murders and decapitation of people due to witnessing a horrific killing spree of bandits to ordinary townsfolk (or NPCs for that matter). Of course, what's an Isekai without the MC being OP, and this is definitely the case for Michio here, having to face the brunt of a PTSD-inducing shock seeing blood spats just about everywhere, and weirdly enough, loving the end result of it. So think of Redo of Healer's Keyaru, but at least a mentally sane version of him after collecting his thoughts and regarding that the fantasy world he's been transported to has no rules bogging everyone down, and everyone's a free man until proven otherwise. Michio's next task is to find adventurers to support his camaraderie of adjusting his life to a new world, but instead, finds slaves trapped by slave traders awaiting to be sold for good prices. Of course, being the good guy that Michio is, would enquire one such trader (by the name of Alan) for help on his next navigational points, and Alan reveals of a labyrinth that would help set off a good starting point for Michio. But being cashless with only experience backing him up, Alan then decides to recommend buying a slave to aid him in his endeavours, and also "Sweet Home, Alabama" virgins as sex slaves, just because why not. They are good for companionship and sex anyways, so there's no limits to how far one could go. It's the offer that put Michio on temptation to purchase one, and this sets the course for the series' progression further dowb the road. Not gonna lie, Isekai Meikyuu Harem (at least for this initial season) may feel like a slow burn, but it's not like Shachi Sogano is stupid enough to basically make a fantasy world version of World's End Harem and call it a day. In fact, the labyrinth segments are actually worth more than the sexual parts, and his idea is to make the labyrinth section a necessity to get to the harem stuff, which depending on your tolerance for patience, can feel like things are happening that slowly builds up to its own climax moments. And that certainly was his modus operandi for Isekai Meikyuu Harem, for Michio's engagement with his very first sex slave, the beastwoman Roxanne (which she is even more tasteful in the anime than the LN) helps to build the codependent relationship between the two, albeit at a snail's pace. And this is where most people have a mixed reception of the show as it progresses on the actual plot as compared to the "plot", which makes you feel like you're actually playing an RPG game and earning rewards along the way to purchase secret bonus items. Honestly though, this feels refreshing to watch and admire, but at the cost of pacing (which is pretty fine from what I can tell following the manga version of the LN) and waning interest for more girls to come and fill up Michio's family of a harem to get to the full-on degeneracy. Michio himself seems like a very cautious person who has thought through each and every plan and strategy, whether it be in the labyrinth or perfectly sound at home. Roxanne is a beastwoman of beauty, perfect with the dog-like ears and tail, which makes her alluring side more pretty than what Michio had initially bargained for with a hefty amount of a price. And for the most part, these two work like husband and wife: the perfect embodiment of a master-slave relationship that is aware of the ridges of satisfaction yet work in harmony so much to appreciate one another's presence, it almost feels surreal living the kind of life one would've thought of in a fantasy world. And yes, despite the key visual showcasing other girls that would be to come in Michio's harem, it definitely is a shame to exchange more characters for the subservience in plot, and I feel that a Season 2 will give this show more justice than its wonky beginnings. Being the "Men of Culture" studio, Passione under freelance director Naoyuki Tatsuwa (who's done 2018's Yuri drama cringefest Citrus and this season's mobage adaptation Warau Arsnotoria Sun—!) just feels very lacking, it gave the sign that it was content for the production to be this way: an average Isekai show with much action but not enough prowess to offer in any way of animation. But then again, there were other sacrifices in the way that either way, would not have made this show being the stand-out figure it is, other than what the degenerates all came here for. It honestly just looks subpar, almost close to the point of being bad. The OST...also is another area where it could've been better. If you would've told me who Shiori Mikami is, I would have no idea other than her stand-out character roles like AOT's Krista Lenz and Yuru Yuri's Akari Akaza. In fact, her last theme song performance was all the way back in 2015 with the Yuru Yuri series, and this comeback of an OP song...just feels like a waste of a talent, to be frank. To me, it's one of the worst OPs of the season for being a snoozefest, that's all I can judge it based on. But what is NOT a snoozefest is the ED song between Michio and Alan, and I certainly did not expect that both Taku Yashiro and Kenta Miyake would nail the song-convo hybrid formula so perfectly that it pays homage to Interspecies Reviewers's YMCA-ish rhythmic vibes of its now memeified, but still cultured OP. If I had to compliment this show on THE one thing that made it stand out, it would be the ED, which has grown to be my No. 1 ED song of the season (and maybe the best ED of the season) HANDS DOWN. It's a certified banger of a song, bar none. If you still want to watch a Hentai, then Isekai Meikyuu Harem unforuntately isn't the go-to show for your "peak degenerate" tastes. It's classified as a more serious "(actual) plot than plot" setting, and for a change, this puts into the question that both anime-onlies and LN readers have for the longest time: if there is "harem" in the title, why make it such a way that it takes second place below the precedence of the whole dungeon-crawling, labyrinth headspace? The answer we will never know, but if this show does get a Season 2 (which cross my fingers, I wish it does), this harem adventure is but only just the beginning of a long journey for Michio Kaga and his family of sex slaves. This ain't peak degeneracy, not just yet. It still needs a lotta cooking in the process, and that'll determine the success of the source material through the now current mediocre anime adaptation.
This is just hentai with a longer screen time. Main character gets Isekai'd into a world with a bad UI and starts figuring out everything from there. The idea that slaves in this world are well rounded women who will serve you as best as they can towards your goal... which is primarily either slaying creatures in the labyrinth or getting down and dirty in the bath and bed. Superbly animated motion when things get erotic. Outside of the obvious, it is not terrible, it is just black and white slice of life isekai. Enjoy it for what it is. I can't believe it's not hentai...
Total score 6/10 Look, it's no surprise at this point, but it is well known that the isekai genre is used to soft reset the universe so that the author may set up his own world and history without making the MC have a detailed or important backstory. just pick a random loser Michio, here and own the rules…….. Uh well, how do I say this …… slavery is legal here, AND THE MAIN FOCUS of this show, so if you do not like this topic it is actually quite understandable and actually a respectable opinion, please stay far away from this anime. If asked about this, personally,I have seen many series delve much deeper and darker into the territory of slavery in SPECIFIC Arcs to make the hero look more heroic (pretty dumb NGL). In this anime, Michio Immediately involves himself in violence and slave trading, particularly for dangerous missions and sexual favors, Roxanne, the slave in question is actually okay with both, and Michio, in his own weird way does ask for her consent. (I still feel that 90% of it was a command). He is technically not breaking the law of his new world but if one really wants to police a fictional character, by all means, skip this anime and hunt the author, please do not hold me responsible I DO NOT ENDORSE IT and fully recognize that slavery is rightfully so a crime. With the warning and personal opinion part of the review out of the way, let's get into the score. Plot (5/10) Slow paced pokemon collecting type of anime, but well, he collects women slaves, most of them out of convenience or just the chad aura of Michio willingly give him their uh, maidenhood. there is an actually overlooked aspect of adventuring and dungeon crawling , that makes up for the majority of the first ⅔ of every episode the naughty times is just the remaining parts.the gore and detailed nature of the power system does make for a subpar fantasy plot if you would call it, but do keep in mind most of this is to earn money to buy girls and sexy stuff :3. Characters (4/10) Michio is straightforward gamer chad who gathers “consent” and steamrolls any monster in his path. He is surprisingly okay with both violence and slavery as well , take it as you will. Roxanne is a timid and busty beast-folk (you know they are targeting a very particular fan base) who can be kind of independent and except of sexy times acts as Michios walkin dictionary. Sound and VA (6/10) Standard monster noises , not the best VA in general scenes , the others well, as high budget as an hentai can get IG UwU.the op is shit , the ED is rather good however. Animation and art (7/10) Easily the best art and animation if you consider this an hentai , as an anime welp , the “fanservice” (Who are We kidding its hentai tho not fanservice xD) gets much more love. The other fight scenes are a bit better than most low budget isekai’s they are like redo of healer , if that serves as a good reference. Read reviews and synopsis, itll immediately tell you wheter this is to your “taste” or not.
Generic isekai, but with sex. It comes in 2 versions: an uncensored version, and a version thats not worth watching. From the title you can tell what you’re getting into, its isekai harem...that you can m*st*rbate to (•_•) Watch this if you want to watch some softcore anime porn. Because apart from that there is nothing here. A guy gets sent into a vr game. He purchases a slave named Roxanne. She’s a beast girl (half human half dog). They have sex. There isnt much of a goal. The main character visits the same dungeon over and over and over and over again. So he can kill thesame tree enemies and farm xp. In other isekai you actually have the characters going to different places. Here every episode they go to this green labyrinth where the walls look the same every single time: green and black, with a bright light-source that comes from nowhere. At episode 6 they complete the first floor of the labyrinth. And move on to the second floor which is exactly the same as the first floor…green and black, with a bright light-source that comes from nowhere. Are the people who made this anime serious? This is a joke right? Watching this I just kept thinking whether the people who made this is just trolling us. Where is the plot? Its an isekai, where a guy is sent into a videogame, and he farms for xp. Thats the plot. I don’t have a problem with anime being sleazy. I don’t mind fanservice. I don’t mind lazy harems. BUT YOU NEED AN ACTUAL PLOT. Another thing...this is not a harem. The girls on the poster are not actually in this 😂 I am convinced this anime exists to troll its viewers. This is the first time I’ve watched an anime and been completely dumbfounded by whatever the fck I just watched.
This will be a spoiler free review. I am a big fan of the Isekai Meikyuu series. I've read the web novel, light novel, and manga. It's probably my favorite manga being released right now, and the series has a dedicated cult following. So obviously, I was really hyped when I first heard that they were going to make an Isekai Meikyuu anime, made by Studio Passione no less - The studio who made High School DxD season 4, and the new Higurashi. A friend and I thought it was going to be a match made in Heaven. But I think in the back of mymind, I knew that this wasn't going to work out. Especially when I learned it was only going to be 12 episodes. To explain, the Isekai Meikyuu manga is a *notoriously* slow paced series, with lots of little details, and tons of day to day character development - The light novel even more so. That said, that's what the fans love it for. It makes the world and the characters feel alive. The original web novel/light novel is primarily slice of life mixed with harem traits, but it's mostly tame. In the novels, everything is *implied*. The manga however is slice of life, but with a heavy emphasis on the NSFW harem aspect sprinkled throughout. In every interation thus far, the series alternates between their time in the labyrinth, daily life (making dinner, going shopping, seeing the auction broker, etc), occasional story arcs, and harem time at home. But in the case of this show, to actually be able to faithfully capture the tone of the series, the season would have needed to be at least twice as long. So this anime got turned into a 12 episode titty-fest. A good titty-fest mind you, a damn good one, but one that didn't do justice to the characters or the world building. I knew people who just skipped ahead to the sex scenes, completely disregarding the plot. To be honest I don't blame them for it. To Passione's credit, they treated the series with respect as best they could, while also making a bingeable seasonal series. There just wasn't enough time to jam pack all the tiny details into the show without doubling or tripling the episode count. Besides omitting the minute details the series is appreciated for, if I had two complaints, it would be the music, and the main character himself. The main character is a shell of his novel/manga counterpart, with only brief instances where you get to see his shrewd but intelligent mentality. In the light novel, he initially comes off as a well-educated, but selfish, paranoid, and angsty teenager. But gradually over the course of the story, you see him mature. Which according to the author's notes at the end of one of the manga chapters, is the purpose of the story. To see Michio mature after gaining someone he cares about (Roxanne). But here, he just comes off as a cookie-cutter "dumb harem protagonist" archetype. (Insert Godfather meme: "Look how they massacred my boy.") Given the time/episode constraints the studio was given to adapt this series, I can forgive them for oversimplifying my boy Michio's personality. But the music I cannot. The music is my number one complaint - Namely the music during the sex scenes. I can only describe it as "Frantic Jazz", and it's incredibly distracting. It doesn't match the tone, setting, or time-period the characters are in (which is basically the equivalent of the Dark Ages). Jazz wouldn't start to take off until the 1920s. So why then, is it playing in a series set in the technological equivalent of the year 600?? All it does is serve to make the main character seem even more stupid and generic. It might not even stand out so bad if all the other music wasn't bombastic fantasy music, which is fine. But the series goes hard on the fact that "This is the Dark Ages. These people are so primitive, they still think the world is flat." The animation is superb though. Honestly it halfway makes me wish Passione just went all the way, and made it into a legitimate hentai. Don't get me wrong, it's damn close to a hentai already. But since it's already diverging from the novels and manga, might as well go all out. Anyway so in summary, if you like the manga or light novels, this won't feel like either of them. The sad fact is, this series simply wasn't written with an episodic anime format in mind. The story structure just doesn't translate well. But if you're just someone who wants to see an eechi/harem show with some top notch sex scenes, this has some pretty damn good ones.
Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World is your pretty standard isekai with its own *cough cough* hanime flair to it. Now to be totally honest with you I think this anime is pretty average. It doesn’t really do anything that special and if you decide to watch it there are a stretch of episodes where it felt like basically the same thing happened in each of those episodes. Art: 8 The anime is pretty appealing to look at, the character designs are pretty solid as well. The animation is surprisingly not terrible either, not many complaints to be had here. And for those that camefor the ecchi, those scenes were also well animated. Sound: 7 The sound design is solid, the action scenes were accompanied well by the sound, also the background music usually fits each scene well. Other than that the ending was a bop while the opening was okay. Characters: 5 I’m not going to lie to you the main female lead carries. The MC of this show is actually a terrible person, and while at times I found it genuinely funny how bad of a person he was it didn’t necessarily help my entire outlook on the guy and it can get a little hard to really back some of his actions. Also, they take a little too long to introduce certain characters which does contribute to some of the episodes ending up boring. Story: 5 This has to be my biggest flaw with the show, the initial premise isn’t bad, but it's just the pacing. Once he completed his initial goal the anime ended up falling a little flat and seemed like it kind of had no direction for a while. And as good as the ecchi is, that doesn’t really change the fact that it almost felt like the same routine was happening every episode. So in my honest opinion if you're coming for the ecchi you'll probably like this show, but if you're not it's probably a skip for you.
Read Manga first then watch this. Without reading the manga 5-6/10, With reading the manga 8/10. If you watch this without the manga it's rather mediocre. However with the manga you will understand and appreciate the core game elements of the world, the dungeon/labyrinth crawling in more detail and in a much more enthralling way. After you read the manga, watching this becomes just a leisurely stroll as most of the budget was pushed into the slave girl(s) and sexual scenes , instead of the story telling, the skill learning and labyrinth adventures. Most of the negative reviews will just criticize the slavery, too blinded in an emotionaloutrage to enjoy the show, which they managed to finish by the way. Slavery isn't a real issue, it's been around since man existed on the planet you can't possibly criticize it it's just an aspect of the plot, get over it. Knowing that the same studio that did Ishuzoku Reviewers (Passione) pretty much accurately describes what you would be getting out of this adaptation. There is a striking contrast in the production of the sexual scenes as compared to the labyrinth fighting. The interactions with the girl(s) and MC are remarkably, well fleshed out and animated almost perfectly. It quite expectedly stayed very true to the source. On the contrary, the general animation and especially the fighting in the dungeons is far too bland, too rushed, lacking immersion and just overall lackluster. It's pretty much skipped through in favor of the fanservice. There's a boss fight where you literally see them slash the air with the boss offscreen and it just ends. Most of the action has no captivating fight choreography, no eye-catching link-ups between the party members, zero attention to detail rather just the bare minimum to call it a passable adaptation. The worldbuilding, the explanation and theories behind the core game elements is also quite rushed. It doesn't make you appreciate some of the things the manga did so well in cultivating. Then it also adds a flash-forward very early on, not seen in the manga, and it proceeds to rush through the story in the ED of the 12th episode spoiling a lot of the surprise you would be expecting in a Season 2. This seriously puts a Season 2 in question. Art = 7 (Labyrinths too dull and monotonous) Intimacy Animation(girl(s) and sex) = 10 General Animation (Using tricks instead of animating) = 6 Soundtrack(nothing at all special or captivating) = 4 Plot = 6 Characters = 7 The main draw to this? A breath of fresh air, blatantly taboo elements, the likes of what Re-do of healer gave us but with less of an MC. If you enjoy shows that show you the sex unapologetically with no beta teasing, have less pussy MCs and get down to the desires of man's true nature. This is a great relaxing watch of a more unorthodox isekai and you won't be too annoyed at it if you read the manga first. On it's own at best a 6, with manga an 8. Hope this helps.
One of the greatest rpg-isekai anime. Despite average and cookie-cutter skills, monsters, encounters, etc. Story have one thing that sets it far above others - realistic motivation for MC. Getting slave for fun activities is #1 Priority for any cultured person. And if MC can actually get one and do that stuff on screen - this gives enormous rating points in my eyes (+uncensored version). Sadly, the way this slave is used as actual party member/wife is off-putting. Poor girl run labyrinth, do garden work and probably all other domestic stuff. It seem strange to work such beauty to the bone. Why would you ever wanther to risk being injured or be tired from work on the fields? Interesting thing is that she does have maid uniform (perfect second job for this type of slave) but she did not wear it even once after being bought by the guy. It would be even better if author could explore the fact that it is almost impossible to get reciprocal relationships for master and slave. Whole thing is possible because you bought her, holding ultimate control over her, and not because she actually likes you even if she does act that way. And if she does actually for whatever reason develops actual feelings for master and want to be with him and this is mutual, then why he still keep her as a slave? This dynamic have a lot of weird subtext of distrust, abuse and some strange working relationships between them. Non-optimal slave extra work and their weird relationships aside, the fact that he does actually use them as intended is more than enough for this anime to be a great work.
A Masterpiece of Anime and Eros. this is a superb example of a manga made into a anime that works in every way. It is beautifully created with attention to both art, characters true to the source and a fine use of the erotic portions of the story that surpasses even hentai in just about every way. It is an example of what we love in Japan, Story, love, eros, and adventure. this is not maybe to the liking of western fans of anime, but it is for us a fine example of the best of anime and manga both. I encourage any who have not seenit to enjoy this fine series. I just wish it continued further. I feel sorry for those who don't understand or appreciate the sincerity of this fine creation. Enjoy. I sure did. Yoshi.
This anime basically have 2 Bible: 1. The Manga, it replicate many of the pose and actions the Manga have, which is something a good anime does faithfully 2. Hentai VN. It surprises me just how methodically it follows a VN structure, in how explicit it says a change of location, to how you got a default ost for the H time, weirdly springy and wet fsx Nad voice acting, etc etc even more in the OVA where the MC basically became the no face black haired guy trope. 🤣 It has average animation overall but are very particular about the H animations 😉, it all givesthe same cheesy vibe as VN H scenes 😁 It's enough that I won't be surprised if the OG material is a VN, but I know it's not cause I read the LN. Overall it's a fun anime for me, as I read the Manga to have the scenes animated, but also to reminisce of playing VN. Now all fully voiced and animated 😬 just turn your brain off kind of fun.
I lost... but not in the sense you're thinking. I lost braincells. When I heard it is 18+, when I saw the first few episodes, my hopes shot up thinking imma have another redo of healer anime (yes, I enjoyed that anime and I ain't afraid to say so). I was expecting such great things from this show, especially cuz it has a few things that are pretty cool explained/done... but then... it happened... it just became mindless hentai with s*x slaves... man, each episode I hoped it would get better and get back to the vibe I got in the first few episodes, butno... it just went full on hentai with a bit of "simple" story to add more to it and make it into an "anime"... I saw the potential to be at the same level as redo of healer, and then I saw that potential being taken, thrown on the ground, stomped and spit on for the sake of it becoming a mindless fantasy of garbage hentai for degenerates. While I understand humans in nature are closer to being degenerates if given the opportunity with no repercussions, that there are quite a bit of people that if given the same situation, would do the same (most likely me included ;) ), that's not what I wanted to see from this show, not with that start. Story: 6 First few episodes: very interesting, cool potential, wish to see more of that from the MC. After those episodes: hentai... and more hentai... ooh, they re going to the labyrinth, finally... oh wait... they finished already?? wait, they going back to hentai???... sheesh... why not make it full hentai then???? It had potential for MC to become something really interesting, especially with the premise of the story... a slave world with bandits and stuff where killing bandits actually is encouraged, and there are quite a lot of bandits... Also other stuff that could have been expanded on and if blended right, could have brought the story to some kind of potential complex level, at least at powers, but no. God forbid that happened. Hentai is more important. I see it as a self insert for degenerates tbh, that's all there is to this anime. Art: 7 Well, the fights are meh, can't say they are animated well enough... the hentai scenes? That's where the budget went, ofc... Music: 6 The OP sounds okayish, ending was thrash. Characters: 6 For a show that has "harem" in its name, it for sure didn't show the harem until much later. Not a problem, I liked the slow pace stuff, but it's a bit too slow and then BAM, it rushes towards the end like crazy, most likely either cuz they don't think they are gonna make a second season or they just wanna show us brief moments of how he acquired them? Idk for sure, heard the manga doesn't have enough for a second season, if it's based on the manga, idk about the novel. MC seemed to have potential, but then he becomes a hentai degenerate, and not other kinds of degenerates I have hoped for, which brought the story to a dumb sh*t one for me. I'm not even gonna start the convo of s*x with slaves and its morality, seems like a rabbit hole to me... cuz after all, the slaves did put that they are open for s*x with their master and stuff... rabbit hole, I tell ya Enjoyment: 6 Enjoyed the first few episodes... after that tho? Not really... I don't really like hentai (can you believe that??), it just ain't for me. I kept watching in the hope of seeing something more interesting like in the first few episodes, but I was wrong. Should have known... but I'm a bit of a completionist, so that also had a big part of why I finished it... Ig if you're into hentai, you will like it, but don't forget that it's also an anime, so it isn't as hardcore as a full on hentai show. Overall: 6 Right now it has 6.56 from 112.984 Ranked N/A (first time I'm seeing N/A) Popularity #949 Members 252,105 as of 03/03/2024. It deserves its mark tbh, it's a weird mesh between an isekai anime with meh story and hentai, and it leans more towards hentai, a lot more, and towards a man fantasies, some would say degenerate ones at that. If you're into hentai, you will like this anime more than I did, but for me it was like losing braincells. Wish it wouldn't ditch the plot for hentai later on... oh well, it is what it is.
This is what you need to know about this show. This show romanticizes slavery. The gist of it is this: a guy get's isekai'd to a fantasy world and immediately decides to buy a slave so that he can do naughty things to her. If this premise bothers you a lot, you won't enjoy the show and you are better off watching something else. Got it? Now lets move on. Why did I enjoy this? Let's be frank, this is an ecchi with a hentai plot. If you are not attempting to apply real world logic and ethics to it then this show is a goodtime. MC buys slave and treats her well and they fall in love. I imagine in later seasons this formula would rinse and repeat, but we really only get about one girl here. The MC is one of the better ones from the harem genre if you ask me. He can be bashful, but not to the point of being a push over. He can be forward, but not an a-hole. He's powerful, but not nuclear level OP. Besides the whole slavery thing (yeah I know it's a pretty big thing to look past) the MC is a decent enough everyday guy. The combat and spell casting is animated quite well and the overall animation quality of the show is really quite good. The girl in this anime has been fantastic and is waifu material for sure.
Well, what you need to know about this anime? There is plot here. I mean big soft bouncy plots. That's basically it. I'll be honest though, generic as hell, but there are a bunch of harem anime out there, where the huge jiggly plots are the main focus, yet the horny bunch just there for the show, and nothing happens between them only cringeworthy "platonic love". Unlike here. Our main protagonist grab his sword and put it into the sheath the first time he has the chance. I mean there are a bunch of horny teens adventuring together. What the flying heck do you expect?A hot steaming handholding, or what? Probably, because that is the pinnacle of the anime romance, but not here. So yeah, another one of those "I can't belive it is not hentai". Well, because it is. Especially if you watch the uncensored version. Honestly though, if you can get over the usual isekai slavery trope then it is pretty lighthearthed. The H-scenes are really softcore. Also the "slavery" is basically there for plot convinience, so the characters can get to the plot as soon as possible. However, if you are sensitive to the topic, you should avoid this, other than that feel free to watch it. Nothing disturbing happens really. As for the story. Well, if you watch it as an isekai it is subpar even for isekai standards, also too many H-scenes which serves no purpose other than fanservice. Don't get me wrong I have no issues with a few sexytime scenes. Quite contrary, I do appriciate, if an anime romance is not cursed with the almighty "will-they-won't-they", but it was overdone here for my taste. If you watch this for academic purposes, well, it isn't that good either. There is too much actual plot in between the plots. The visual quality is quite good for a hentai though. In the end it fails in both category in my opinion. I would rather call this a slice of life isekai with H-scenes, and it is fine in that sense. The vibes are similar to "Banished From The Hero's Party, I Decided To Live A Quiet Life In The Countryside", at least for me. The only main difference is the abundance of the sexytime scenes. Ending. Well, it is rushed, probably becuase the creators knew very well, that there will be no 2nd season. All in all nothing spectacular, but it's a fine time killer. Also it made me smile slightly a few times, probably it will make you smile as well. That's about it. (Note about the score: I gave it a 7 only because the "romance" at least got somewhere, and I would like to support creators who have the guts to depict real teen couples, not only promote the "celibate until marriage", but realisticly it is a 5, or maybe 6)
best anime ever i love the world setting, the characters, the seggs, pretty good story for a borderline hentai must watch It’s the perfect show for anyone who loves being transported to a fantasy world, where the only thing more powerful than the protagonist’s skills is his charm... and his ability to level up in more ways than one. Michio Kaga, a high schooler with game mechanics at his disposal, explores dungeons, gains skills, and somehow collects more beautiful women than loot. The plot? Predictable. The fanservice? Endless. The comedy? A little suggestive, but hey, it's all part of the fun! If you're looking for ashow with lots of action, this one’s got you covered... on all fronts
For what it was offering and gave it was great beware this anime doesn't come with an in depth plot or is anything like a mainline anime and isn't meant to be one. this anime purely was one for the adult fan base to enjoy and enjoy we did if anything it was comparable to high school dxd at its peak as it gave us a little bit of adventure because it was more meant to be a sub plot for this type of anime. It also gave us Ecchi, Harem and Romance, with these added genres with vanilla as it gets scenes that give alotof modern day hentai a run for their money you get the visual masterpiece that it a guy making money in a new world to create a harem of women from all different races. My only quarrel with the show is that the other girls don't get introduced properly but as it's a 12 episode show you can only have so much, so with that in mind I would definitely watch this and wouldn't take note of the babies who're giving this a bad rating as it seems their parents need to have the birds and the bees talk. Or it's the little wuss's who genuinely thought there'd be a dumb amount of world building like in Overlord. 8/10
Review is Spoiler Free (Dont hesitate to read) (I make it simple format so you guys dont read wall of text) Story : There is no story in here, basically just mc straight to make harem whatever it cost, they do dungeon for money to buy another harem is simple as that, overall there is no challenge to mc because he got overpowered abilities, so 3/10, story not appealing average generic harem story Character : I have no comment here, everyone look generic here Enjoyment : This one is basically borderline h genre anime, so fanservice is very good here and there, some version also didnt censored italso broadcast version is very clear, probably we see actually h genre anime in BD release (just assume) Totally enjoy it but tbh i just skip all story because they are goddamn boring, just like prolog where he get slave and repeat same process over and over Overall : I give it 8/10 because this is only ecchi anime that stay in true ecchi way, so recommendation where? You like ecchi? Watch this You like story? Dont Watch this You like harem? Watch this You like something close to h genre but good animation? Watch this I put mixed feeling because i want actual story of this anime but remind me this anime basically full fanservice from beginning till end, so i have turn off my brain Thats should be all, Bye bye
I'm not really a fan of the harem genre due to how the protagonist is portrayed but this one was a breath of fresh air for me. If you haven't read the manga I suggest doing that before watching the anime. Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World was a very decent anime mixed with some dark elements and a slice-of-life adventure. I like how it doesn't portray the MC Michio as an invincible overpowered character on his own. His tools and equipment are rather overpowered and not him. In the world where he is there's a set of instructions, he must follow in orderto survive and if he's reckless it could cost him. It's like watching a game of let's play. The anime did feel generic at some points but it was a decent watch. The adventuring in the series was really fun to watch which presents a mild sense of danger to Michio and the other protagonist Roxanne. Roxanne being a slave is pretty much certain. She feels a sense of loyalty to Michio and is willing to do whatever it takes to stay by his side. The other aspect of the show is the sex. The sex was definitely just to draw the audience's attention but it was pretty enjoyable if you're ok with it. The title was a bit misleading considering that it is a harem but Michio doesn't really add to his party until the final minutes of the last episode which was done pretty quickly. It's probably a hint to show how Michio's life will be and how things will be with the manga still ongoing. Overall, Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World was a decent watch. It was nice seeing the main character that doesn't shy away from girls or doesn't get afraid when the girls approach the main character. The animation was really decent and the soundtrack was really good. I hope we get a season 2 but if we do it will probably de more of a slice-of-life harem rather than an adventure fantasy.
Welcome back to another episode of 'Why didn't they make this a Hentai?' This anime season we have Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo, a show where it entirely revolves around sexy slaves or killing things to earn money. There's another 20% or so of the show that is strictly world building (which would make for a fantastic MMORPG rather than an anime). Overall, the story progresses very slowly which has the positive of incremental success and the feeling of progression (also a good thing for a MMORPG) but the downside of causing the show to drag on for a while. The main poster for theshow also has multiple characters that won't be really seen until future seasons (if there are any) and the censored version of the show simply isn't worth watching due to the amount of sexual content of the show. Story: 4/10 Art: 10/10 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Music: 5/10 Characters: 2/10 It's better than some other Isekais that came out this year, but it's not nearly the best show you can watch this season.
this was awesome, would do the same as one of the characters! Finally a story where I can put myself into without having to remove certain aspects of the character I'd be! I really enjoyed every bit and scene, specially the second slave, she was the best and covered all of my tastes in a single character. Props to the author for making such a great thing. hope to see more like this very very soon! Only critic is that the GUI that they gave the MC wasn't that refined, it seemed like a placeholder more than anything else. Other than that I loved all of thecombat scenes, very bloody and belic, as I like it. Not quite as belic as edgerunners but it's on the same ballpark, which means it's awesome! I hope there's a second season of this, I really need it. Gonna buy the source material now, the whole thing if possible. Based anime, haven't seen something this good in a while.
