Having reached the pinnacle of human potential, Varvatos was so powerful that the rest of humankind began calling him the Demon Lord, both fearing and respecting his overwhelming influence. As a result, he felt alienated from his fellow humans, leading him to desire true companionship—an equal he could call a friend. Hoping his fate will change in his next life, Varvatos decides to start anew and reincarnates three thousand years later as Ard Meteor, the son of a seemingly ordinary couple in a rural town. Unfortunately, he realizes that even after weakening himself, his strength still overshadows everyone in this era. Moreover, his lack of social skills bars him from achieving his goal of making friends. But worst of all, the repercussions of suddenly abandoning his former position have begun to bite him back in some of the most unimaginable ways possible. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody reminds me the time when I got my test score back and realized that I needed to study more. It follows a similar aftermath reaction related to the 5 stages of grief. Ok, maybe I'm exaggering a bit but I can't deny the fact that this show made me at least experience a feeling of denial, depression, and acceptance. Based off of the light novel, you can tell right away what the anime is about beyond just the synopsis. It's about a character reborn in a fantasy world but is overpowered compared to others aroundhim. That's right, meet Ard Meteor, an alpha male like being who trumps over others to the point where he got so lonely, he decided to reincarnate himself. The catch is that in this new timeline, he still overpowered. Let's just say that his plan to become a "typical nobody" backfired spectacularly. Clocking around at 12 episodes long, the story didn't invent any unique themes, elements, or plot devices. It's a bold effort to cast a main protagonist who is overpowered. Not to mention, he's also a chick magnet who attracts almost every character of the opposite sex. The most evident are Ireena and Ginny who practically falls for him on first sight. There's not much reason or depth to their development except that they are attracted to his strength, talent, and looks. Oh and of course, Ard does come off as gentleman with decent manners and a sharp mind. For our two main female leads, Ireena and Ginny practically feel like the same character. The only main difference I see is Ireena's confidence and tomboyish personality compared to Ginny. This so-called love triangle is devoid of character development and commitment. It seems even Ard himself isn't fond of bedding them when given the chance. Don't believe me? There's one episode where Ginny practically throws herself at Ard while he rejects her advances. The reminder of the cast is tolerable at best while being insufferable at worst. I'll start off with the tolerable part with characters such as Olivia and Lydia. Both of these characters are strong minded with a confident aura and charisma around them. They have a more mature personality (although Lydia at times may be questionable) and generally easy to accept as tolerable characters. The most insufferable character in the show is none other than Sylphy with her bratty attitude, who throws tandrums like a spoiled child. Watching Sylphy's role equates to just about everything I hate about kids in the real world. She's annoying, complains about practically everything in sight, and does not improve in any shape or form. It's as if the show designed her to annoy the audience and it succeeded in the worst way possible. So asking yourself, are there any redeeming qualities for this anime? Was this truly a cash grab attempt to get the audience to throw money at the novels? I hate to be the message bearer of bad news but I'm afraid so. At least on what this anime adaptation showed us, there's incoherent lazy writing revolving the plot. Character development is null including the great Ard himself. Let me just say that while the anime has some occasional entertaining segments, it falls short on all expectations due to how gimmicky it's done. Plus, the anime also decided to inject sexual harassment scenes (looking at you Lydia) for practically no reason but to get Youtubers to make clickbait content. If you truly value your time, then make the smart choice and avoid this like the plague.
This anime is a dumpster fire. It has a solid start before derailing into a train wreck. The starting plot is rather unique which makes me have a reasonably high expectation for this anime. Which cause me to be disappointed at the end of the season The downfall of this anime starts with the introduction of Ginny. Ireena was downgraded from a loveable character to an extremely annoying one. The only significant thing Ginny did is the one attempt to seduce Ard. Any character introduced after Ginny is forgettable at best. There is almost no character development at all, other than Ard I guess. It becomes extremelyfrustrating to watch because now the plot is all over the place. Basically, the show tries to do everything at once and loses its focus. If you like trashy power fantasy anime, then maybe give this a try? Otherwise, don't waste your time on this. Story: 3/10 Art: 3/10 Sound: 2/10 Character: 3/10 Enjoyment: 2/10 Total: 13/50 (2.6)
I came across several reviews of this anime claiming that it contradicts itself, but that’s simply not true. I’d like to clear up the misunderstanding some viewers had regarding the plot. This review may contain spoilers, and I’ll also discuss Ard Meteor's goal and thoughts throughout the anime, as these seem to be the main points of confusion for many. Many people wrote in their reviews that Ard's goal contradicts itself. The misconception seems to be that his goal was simply to live a low-profile life, free from reputation, privileges, prestige, and fame. However, his main goal wasn’t to turn his back on his past. Whathe truly wanted was something he had never experienced, something that everyone around him had: a true friend. The fame and status he accumulated over the years made it difficult for him to make genuine connections. His reincarnation was the key to shedding these burdens, allowing him to pursue friendships without these labels getting in the way. There’s another detail people might have missed, and it’s a key part of the anime that could easily cause confusion. It’s stated multiple times throughout the series: after Ard finally makes friends, he discovers the true value of friendship. He becomes willing to expose his true identity if it means protecting those friends, which he comes to view as his most valuable treasure. These two points can be confusing for some viewers. As I’ve seen in various reviews, Ard’s main goal was misunderstood. People focused on his desire for a low-profile life, but missed the deeper goal of making friends. After that, the second part—him defending his friends—may seem contradictory to the idea of living a low-profile life. Personally, I don’t understand how people missed these details. Some of the reviewers who got confused didn’t even finish all 12 episodes, yet they’ve watched over 5000 episodes of anime and still felt confident enough to write a review. I believe if they had just invested a little more effort into paying attention to the anime’s themes, they wouldn’t have felt so dissatisfied and quick to drop it. I really enjoyed this anime.
Writing a review just to say this anime should be titled: "Powerful Ruler Reincarnates to Make Friends". The current title is the most misled I've ever felt by an anime title. The only time I've felt clickbaited. "The Greatest Demon Lord" He's the only demon lord so that means he's also the weakest. Also it's just a title. This world actually has demons but he's not a demon. "Typical Nobody" Yeah, no. That's only what he thought and tries to be. It's quickly revealed to not be the case. If you're watching based off of the title, like I'd assume most people would, you should reconsider. If you like the appropriatetitle I started this review with, then great! You might enjoy the beginning of this anime.
The Demon Lord is reborn as a typical nobody has managed to worm its way into becoming my least favorite anime of all time. I'm actually impressed by that achievement and I've watched plenty of degenerate trash before, so that says a lot. It took me over a year to finish this series because after watching one episode I would need a mental break I will try my best not to repeat what everyone else have already said, but seeing how many reviews there are, that most likely will seem impossible. I will also be avoiding spoilers. Story: Actually had a good premise and I wasinterested because of how the first three episodes presented themselves. Ard has some regrets from his past life as Demon Lord and chooses to reincarnate. The premise it gives you is that all he wants to do is make friends and not only have subjects. You truly learn why he has this desire on a deeper level later, but even I wouldn't say it's worth it. I think the story really dropped the ball because the pacing was all over the place. Ard is also a pretty confusing character in regards to his goals, but I'll get to that in the character section of my review. That being said, I really did like the premise of what I thought it was going to be, but upon arrival it was just ass. Art: I guess the quality was fine, but I didn't really fancy it. I just think it's too generic and I didn't really jive with the character designs. Sound: It was okay, I can't even properly judge the sound because everything else in this series just sucks so much. I can't tell if it's mediocre or bad. I'll go with hidden option: forgettable. Characters: This is my biggest gripe with the series. The characters are all either unlikable or written poorly. Ard is just plain boring. I don't like that he states, multiple times, that he wants to go unnoticed, but consistently takes action in a way that will bring attention to his way. I feel I would care more of his backstory if he was compelling in anyway, but his lack of personality makes it impossible for that to be the case. He was also kind of a dick to, ironically the best character of the show, Eraldo for no reason on episode 7. Ireena was so cool in episode 1 and sucked the rest after that. She has no aspirations or goal as a support character; even Ginny, the character who sucks as much, at the very least has a goal. Even if that goal is as stupid as starting a harem for Ard. Now technically her goal is to become a better version of herself, but we don't see any of that and her development, or lack thereof, is written very poorly. Now let me actually explain why Eraldo is the best character in the show and why that also pisses me off. Eraldo is the bully character we meet early on who has Ginny as an attendant and treats her like garbage. After he has a humiliating defeat against Ard, he disappears from the ether, but returns in episode 7. His look and personality are completely different, as he is now humbled and actually sees things in a different light. We get a backstory on why he treated Ginny the way he did and it was actually written very well. It was written so well that it actually made the show worse. It gives you a glimpse of what this show could have been if the writer actually gave a damn about the characters. Enjoyment: I hated this series and I don't think I will ever find a series that will make me feel the same way ever again. I make it a mission in my personal life to tell people to stay away from this show. Overall: Don't watch this show if you're hoping for a good time. This isn't even a good show to watch if you want to watch a bad show for fun. There are better bad shows you could watch instead of this one and it'll be far more worth it. I would only advise you to watch this series if you want to know what bad writing is.
I have watch every isekai or anime with strong MC I can found. This one is the worst one. The story is just bad, but not as bad as the character... The main character is OK, I can tolerate him but the side characters are bad. The art is bad, I don't count the number of shot with no movement or bad drawing... The only people who will give this anime good points have not go after the 4 episode. I prefere to recommand the daily life of the immortal king, or the irregular at magic highschool, or the misfit of the demon king. Much greater anime !
Potential Spoiler (only in Story section) Story : Its very generic, first at all is it start MC got depressed and ask why his friend left him, basically she is dead. Got reincarnated to peaceful era, He is hoping to be nobody but fail miserable, He befriend one of Lord daughter, which famous and absolutely nobody. then get into academy that basically attend by "noble" only i assume, because there is no backstory who go into that academy, then suddenly show off power to everyone basically nobody and then just randomly call your old ally without any respect. Totally nobody. Story start with half of seasontalk about academy and MC show up and save the day and second half of season basically time travel who add more twist with no BACKSTORY before. Oh my god, bad writing indeed, its fun to watch first 3 episodes but its not once u watch episode 4 etc. 1/10 basically same plot with old anime (see Recommendation tab if u want catch what im saying here) Art : Generic Bruh, 2 Female Lead have same face with different hair color and accessories like bat wing and elf ear just that. Mc basically generic looking black hair mc and u know it magnet chick. This one should be Ecchi but they censor it! really? You can see cleavage everywhere in every episode but they censor the most fun part. Well Nope Sound : No comment, they try to save budget having 3 same character use same Va Character : Mc basically bland and generic trope, who dont want show off and literally end up show off power. Classic. 2 Female lead is most annoying one, all episodes will be miss if this 2 motherf... didnt fight every split second in episode. Most of episode basically about them fight for Mc Enjoyable : 4/10 Only first 3 episodes are enjoyable, another just hot garbage try to make plot interested but fall miserable Overall : 3/10 Generic and bland, lack of creativity, its basically same plot over and over. Same opening and whole plot just basically same. Even execution also same. Im tired watch this 4 same anime with same plot. Do you recommended? Hell nah Do you want season 2? Hell nah
tl;dr: An anime with a pretty weak middle but a pretty amusing opening arc and pretty interesting ending arc. This anime is initially about a Demon Lord named Varvatos that was lonely because he was so powerful that he was feared by everyone around him. Thus, he killed himself so he could reincarnate as someone new and then make friends. He reincarnated as Ard Meteor with all his memories and powers intact. However, even while doing his best not to stand out and keep his true powers hidden he still has a lot of trouble making friends. Primarily because he’s a dumbass. This anime’s premise is alot like Maou Gakuin, but Ard is nothing like Anos. The anime starts off with Ard as a kid in the process of growing up. He still has all his powers and memories, but he has the maturity of a little kid. On top of that he’s overtly desperate to make friends. This makes him off putting to the other kids and the only friend he can make is Ireena, an elf girl that’s similarly shunned by the rest. Though it still takes quite a bit of effort. This arc is pretty amusing because it’s pretty funny how bizarre of a personality Ard has and how overpowered Ard is while still being stupid is pretty amusing. The following arcs don’t fare so well. They take place at Laville National Academy of Magic where Ard and Ireena become students. There’s a succubus named Ginny that also joins them, and the three of them are the main cast for the rest of the anime. Both Ireena and Ginny get character arcs where they go through some character growth. The friendship between the two is also developed decently. As such, the two can seem pretty likable at times. However Ard and his relationship with the two was handled pretty badly. There’s supposed to be a harem dynamic there, but it really doesn’t feel like it. Rather, how Ireena and Ginny interact with Ard and each other when it comes to Ard is bizarrely irritating. It’s more like an annoying love triangle as the two are constantly yelling at each other and fighting over him. There’s significantly much more of that than any meaningful relationship development with Ard or even just romantic fluff. There are other girls that surround Ard as well, but the only ones that seem to be romantically interested in him are minor characters. So in terms of the harem aspect this anime is pretty weak. The plot of these school arcs is also pretty lacking. There’s various school related stuff that happens, such as tournaments or the school festival. These are decent enough. However, there’s also an overarching plot involving demons and such, which is pretty terrible. It’s incredibly generic but the world building is incredibly lacking so it doesn’t make much sense. It’s mostly just a bunch of random events without much cohesiveness or any sense of flow. The magic system especially feels pretty nonsensical, so the action is pretty bad too. As a result Ard being overpowered isn’t all that satisfying either. Thus, things can get pretty dull and it’s hard to get too invested in things. The final arc I felt was a pretty big improvement. It still faces the same issues as previous arcs in terms of the world building being lacking and the pair of Ireena and Ginny being kind of annoying. However, the focus of the arc, and the arc overall, is very different from previous arcs. The characters focused on are more likable. And the themes it chooses to explore are pretty interesting, such as helping people for their sake versus helping them for your own sake or how different experiences can turn the same person into different people. The writing still has a lot of issues and there’s a lot that isn’t properly explained or that’s full of holes. Still, all in all I found the arc interesting enough to be enjoyable and was decently satisfied with the ending. The art and animation aren’t all that great. The character designs were really nice though. There’s some ecchi though not enough for it to be a selling point for the anime. The OP was pretty great in terms of the song and visuals, though it blatantly spoils a pretty important plot twist. The ED was also pretty good in terms of the song and visuals. The soundtrack also had some pretty great tracks.
I really can't say I would recommend this, if you normally enjoy these types of anime, then it passes the time, otherwise it's pretty disappointing as it is wasted potential and not worth watching. So why have I given this a 7/10 when I have just been so negative on it? Well this is a story of two different anime, the anime series we got, and the anime series we could have had. We have the story / world our MC Ard is reincarnated in, there is not that much interesting here, the characters are pretty standard tropes, the plot is pretty standard and we have amagical academy as our eventual setting. It's generic, we've seen it many times before, it's nothing bad, yet nothing amazing and it would just score a competent 6/10 And then we have the world that Ard came from, the world we are told of, that we are briefly shown, that gets teased throughout. The world is far more interesting, the stories that are teased are far more exciting that you want to actually see those events. The characters are anything but generic but subvert expectation. This has the potential to be a really good anime series, one that could get a score of 8/10 or even 9/10 if done right Of cause they went and picked the first option to make a series out of, and I can only blame the author for that. The author had gold, and yet the author got excited by the dirt in his tray. The only reason I score this a 7/10 is because of the potential, because we get glimpses of that world, glimpses of what could have been, glimpses of the history of their world, of Ard's past, of his former companions and their old adventures. Also, Ireena and Ginny are just annoying, as characters they just can't compare to Lydia
This Anime is one of the worst I have ever seen. It doesn't have any redeeming qualities, but let's get the passable ones out of the way: The Art is ok. No extremely ugly CGI, the motions are clear and the special effects look good. Sound and music are also passable. Ost and OP/ED are generic and forgettable, but nothing I would call bad. Now to the bad parts: The thing making me the most angry at Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou, Murabito A ni Tensei suru is how it insults the viewers intelligence. First of all the title is a straight up lie. In noway is the MC a typical nobody. His parents have extremely powerful political connections and his social/economic status is never a issue. His magical and physical powers are far above everyone else. You would think, that he hides his powers, because the reason he reincarnated himself in the first place was that he considered himself to be too powerful and his social position too high to make friends. He is literally showing off with his magic powers. Even after a character, who knows his past self shows up he thinks to himself to keep it down in order to not be suspicious, but actually still pulls off unnatural feats left and right. The characters still alive from his past life bring up another issue. Because a lot of time passed between the MCs death and his reincarnation a lot ofthe knowledge about magic and his historic actions got lost. The magic used in the current era is pathetically weak and his past actions are barely recognizable. How on earth did one of the settings most important aspects happen when there are literally multiple people still around, who saw what happened themself ? How do you even write this ? **may contain minor spoilers** (I don't know from what point something is considered a spoiler here) The whole story is full of glaring logical errors. The first part of the story is pretty interesting to be honest. Our socially awkward OP protagonist tries getting close to a little girl hurt by social rejection. He eventually succeeds (sadly by a display of power) and their character flaws both get deleted and they enter the generic isekai harem dynamic after adding a second harem member in a boring and generic way. The next couple episodes are like the author had to throw something in to fill the space to the stories finale ,wich gets caused by a literal deus ex machina. I still don't know why that final conflict even happened. The final boss literally removes his motivation for his wrongdoings during his first appearance. After that he is like "If I do nothing I will achieve my goal, but I will destroy everything to maybe achieve that same goal". His actions are inherently stupid. He exposes his weak spots on purpose without any safety measures and all his plans rely on his enemies not using their brains at all. After the conflict is resolved (but when you think about it they completely failed their objective) the deus ex machina transports them back, thanks them for their help (on a matter he caused himself without a reason) and brings them back to where they were before the events of the finale. Upon arrival there should have been drastic changes to their environment but there just are none with no explanation as to why that is. The character design and personalities are extremely generic. After the already described events of the first episodes the characters personalities just become either full on steriotypes or basically nonexistent. On many occasions I thought "Oh come on. Nobody could possibly be that stupid" or "No human being acts like that". I can not recommend Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou, Murabito A ni Tensei suru. I only watched it hoping for it to get better after the first letdown after the first episodes, but instead it got generic and boring at first and then insultingly stupid.
Look, this anime is an ok-ish time water but that's about it. As someone who's up to date on the manga it does absolutely no justice. They gloss over so many of the smaller part's of the story that add up to the enjoyment and character development and overall quality of the manga. The flow of the anime sucks, it skips over the true story too much and it reveals some of the best twists of the manga way too easily and early. Legit disgusted by how bad this is compared to the manga - just another case of good manga (7/10) and trash anime adaptation. Read the mangaonly 22 chapters (each one is quite long compared to average) and you'll actually enjoy it. Skip the anime and read Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou, Murabito A ni Tensei suru cause this is a poor adaptation.
Don't bother. The premise sounds alright at first but then you soon find yourself in a generic magic school anime. Though weird asspull time travel nonsense happens after that, which ironically I enjoyed more than the school stuff that took most the anime's airtime. The major problem with this anime is that it doesn't know what it wants to be and can't even keep its own plot straight. It starts out saying that the dude reincarnates because he had no friends and everyone was terrified of him and he wanted to reincarnate so he'd be weaker so he could taste defeat just once. None of those thingswere true. Literally. In the past we see that the guy had plenty of friends. What's more, after that initial statement, he has no interest whatsoever in being defeated. He didn't even want to be weaker considering that he trains hard in his youth to hone his new body so it's as strong as his original. So why did this guy reincarnate exactly? Because the writer is an absolute muppet, that's why. Dude has no idea what's even going on in his own story. And you won't either. I rated it a 5 because you can binge it at least - some anime are too exhausting for even that. But it's still trash you should avoid bothering with if you have anything else at all to watch. The story is a dumpster fire of epic proportions. The characters are incredibly hollow, both forgettable and weird. If you want a demon lord reincarnating in the future anime that doesn't suck then just watch The Misfit of Demon King Academy if you haven't seen it. The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest is also similar but doesn't suck, though notably that guy was just the strongest mage in the world and not a demon lord. If you have literally nothing else to watch then, I mean... yeah whatever, do what you want. I'm not the boss of you.
Should you watch it? I mean you can live without it, it's decently good, but you'd probably forget about it unless someone goes like hey remember that one demon lord anime where he decides to reincarnated himself. Story: Pretty much demon lord decides to reincarnate himself, as a regular guy who has all his powers from his past life. I don't know why they describe him as a typical nobody because no where in this anime was he a side character. He literally did everything opposite that would describe him as a typical nobody lol. Though I do like the story for the most part.Especially the second half. They even made a plot I never seen before so there's that lol. Don't want to spoil now. But to be honest with the numerous amount of demon lord anime already out there this will probably get lost to time. Art: Art style is good. It's standard anime. Unique eyes, and hair for characters. Sound: Opening was a little bit of a hit, but nothing I'd listen on repeat. Characters: I liked them for the most part, but uh the two main girls really do seem useless at time because they can't compare to Ard (the main character). Even when they try to help they don't really help. Unless it's pumping up each other. They're mainly there for the eye candy I'd say. Overall: As basic as this anime was I did enjoy it. Would you forget about it within a year or two? Probably, but it'll fill that I want to watch something interesting need for the moment.
The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody lied to me the moment it showed me its title. Rather than become a "typical nobody", Ard Meteor just became the greatest human being in his world and neither he nor the writing was funny or absurd enough to make this trope interesting. The first episode gave me a positive impression with the protagonist failing to make friends miserably due to his strength. His goals were sympathetic and the story about his first friend was pretty cute. However, since episode two, the show lost whatever charm it left me with. Most of the show was basicallyArd trying not to stand out only to stand out anyway due to his strength. Otherwise, it's him attracting the female leads which isn't interesting because there isn't enough romantic chemistry to justify it and even if there is, they seemed more willing to "share" Ard as a harem which is messed up. Overall, the story wasn't funny or interesting to make its premise work. They wanted an overpowered hero, but they also wanted to portray him as an underdog, and yet made him praised by the world and his harem. They wanted a comedic harem, but wants to act like it's a serious show with implicit lore. It's like the show wanted everything, but couldn't make up its mind. There were also some contradictions in its plot, such as how a certain character is best friend's with this important character even though it was already established that this character was friendless before their first appearance in the show. Things like that could affect the immersion. That being said, there are some appeals in the show. The production looks okay, the character designs are cute. Ard's interactions with his friends can be quite enjoyable. Plus, it's sometimes fun watching Ard beat up other characters with little to no effort. However, the nitpicks outweigh the good and while I think this show might be enjoyable to others, it's not for me.
Would I ever recommend this? Nah prob not. Starts out kind of alright, you think you have an idea of where this anime is going and wants to go... the dude just wants a friend, right? Probably more if I had to guess... Yeah no, forget all that. Let's turn this into a generic, MC is OP as fuck, type of show and have it happen in an academy setting. Haven't seen this before. Then don't even get me started on the third set of events that they happen to cram into these 12 episodes. ( Itwas more interesting to give it some credit though. ) There's really not anything new or interesting to see here so I can't recommend it as watching this was just something to do as I ate some food. Could it be better than some other shows that are similar to this? Perhaps, but they're all kind of garbage in my opinion. If you even remotely liked this, I would recommend Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor.
Kind of what you'd expect from a mediocre reincarnation/isekai anime. It's not one of those that you'd actively look for and go out of your way to watch as it's more just filler to fill the status quo for mediocre anime this season. The mc pretty much doesn't have any motive and just seems like he's reincarnated for a change of pace so he can enjoy life living a different way using all his prior knowledge to be op. the supporting characters are what you'd expect as they have fan service and little to no purpose to the story. Even with the mc being op he doesn'treally use it that extensively so it just leaves you with a very mediocre time. So only watch if you literally have nothing else decent to watch.
For an Anime so mediocre and bland, it's Opening music had no reason to go so hard. Rating 4/10 Opening Credits 9/10 And Sense i need to make this review longer. The story is a Clique power fantasy world, characters are uninspired, the women in the story are all MID af and Ctrl+v watered down versions of better characters from different shows, dialogue is trash, but the early story had some few funny moments. There is no redeeming qualities for this show. A complete waste of time to watch. I only watched each episode just to hear the opening credits because that theme song is a f*king banger. I wantmy 6 hours of life i wasted watching this back.
Surprisingly mediocre!. Nice character designs, shallow, almost too boring plot, ok music, 0 character development. Plot holes and convenient deus ex machinas, unexplained absences (that wouldn't be left unresolved in good writing), etc etc. And character consistency is barely a thing. Not a complete waste of time, but it doesn't even touch other shows of this season, even regular ones... Someone compared this show to Smartphone and High School Prodigies but I think those were leaps above this one and they were trash nevertheless. Also Cheat Magician was mentioned but that one is even worse. It actually was the first show I reviewed in MAL after being a member for ages, just to warn people. I hate it that they take the budget to make shows like that one and this one instead of giving others (that are really on a super tight budget) a little more and make them go to their full potential. I mean even Demon Lord Retry is better than this one, not in production value but surely in entertainment value. That show knows it's trash. This one pretends to be something else than trash. To whomever enjoyed it for what it is, feel free to enjoy it. I cannot.
