On his way to a convenience store, Kazuya Shiina tries to defend two young girls from an armed assailant, only to end up getting stabbed himself and dying on the spot. This good deed allows him to be reborn with all his memories in another world as Cain von Silford, the third son of a margrave. When Cain turns five, a baptismal ceremony in the church grants him an audience to the seven gods who preside over the world. Not only do the gods fill him in on the circumstances of his reincarnation, but they also give Cain their respective divine protections—allowing him to use cheat-like abilities in swordsmanship, magic, and many other aspects. With these blessings, Cain sets out to live a fulfilling life that he deems a dream come true. However, it soon becomes clear that the gods have more plans for him than just a haphazard bestowal of overwhelming power. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Welcome to “The Astrocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure”, the first anime to be written, animated, and produced by ChatGPT! We’re witnessing a truly breathtaking milestone in the AI industry with-... Wait… what? What did you say? What do you mean by “this show was made by actual people”? How the hell was this approved by a human with any common sense?! Well, I’m not sure what was going through the executives’ brains when they pushed this show out the door, but I’ll tell you what was going through mine when I watched this mind-numbing experience. THE FANTASY CHECKLIST OF FAILURES - Things don’t happen because they make sense;they happen because it’s what Isakei stories require. Although I only wanted to grab your attention with my cheesy ChatGPT joke, there was still some truth behind the humor. After just a few episodes of “The Astrocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure”, my overall impression of the show is that this is just a mash-up of every generic Isakei storyline imaginable. Just think of the day-to-day life of the MC from the last boring Isakei you watched. Were they a part of the Adventurer’s Guild with an arbitrary ranking system? Did they attend a royal magic academy that was clearly below their power level? Or maybe some business endeavors by using their knowledge of modern life? Whatever you were thinking of, I would put 10 to 1 odds this show has it incorporated into the story. This “inclusive” style of storytelling led to 2 disastrous consequences. The first, and most obvious one, is that the pacing was horrible. Because we jump from one setting/goal to the next at seemingly random moments, we never get any interesting build-up, climax, or resolution. Plot events just hit you faster than the notes in your favorite weeb rhythm game. For one particular episode, we got to see a new villain introduced, an exposition dump about the world, a tragic flashback, a training arc, and 2 new allies appear all in the span of 23 minutes. Even the most diehard Isakei fans were left in confusion for the rest of that week after that doozy. The second, less noticeable result, is that we don’t care about the MC at all. The dude has almost no obstacles, driving motivations, or goals in mind. The one thing the MC really wanted to accomplish, he got with little to no effort. The rest of the stuff he does is simply because someone else randomly dragged him into it or forced it on him. In short, there is nothing relatable or engaging about Cain because he doesn’t have any personal journey. I ended up having a stronger emotional attachment to a little ant that took a dangerous trip across my desk while I was watching the finale. Woah, look at him go! How did he even get in my room? Oh, wait… what’s happening with Cain again? EMPTIER THAN MY LOVE LIFE - These characters are so painfully shallow and boring to watch that I can’t even remember their names. “Wow! An Isakei that has hollow, stereotypical characters? You must be new to the medium, ApplePieHunter.” Well, I wouldn’t call myself a diehard enjoyer that’s been around since the 90s, but I’ve seen quite a few bad animes here and there. Nonetheless, “The Astrocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure” definitely ranks high for some of the worst characters I’ve ever seen in a show. If you couldn’t already guess, all the side characters are pretty worthless for interesting character development. The MC does get some character development if you call training arcs and random power jumps development, but everyone else is degraded to just existing. But I think the worst part is that almost none, if any of them, are entertaining. Little lolis that fall head-over-heels for the far too old MC. A trophy girl with an attachment issue so bad that even Ecchi fans can’t overlook it. A sister that radiates “Sweet Home Alabama” vibes. Nobles are assholes because they’re noble. Airheaded adventurers who exist just to power-scale the MC. All the cliches, stereotypes, and tropes are thrown in with zero changes. Not even a little bit of self-awareness or exaggeration in the show. The jokes, dialogue, and interactions are more reused than a basement dweller’s cumsock, which makes everything so flat and boring. I want to be clear here. Having a bunch of cliches doesn’t automatically equate to a bad anime. Having a bunch of cliches with no discernible personality or interesting humor is the real crime. And good god is this anime fucking guilty of it. CAN I TURN OFF MY BRAIN AND STILL ENJOY IT? - Short answer: no. Long answer: noooooooooooooo. I’ve always wondered why people, including myself, continue to watch these pump-and-dump garbage anime. Personally, I like to see bad anime because it makes me appreciate the good stuff even more. And besides, there can still be a genuine passion or valuable lesson found in even the lowest-ranking shows. However, the truth for most of us is that it’s nice to shut down our critical thinking skills and just… consume. Getting those small bursts of dopamine from the flashy magic spells, random fight scenes, and corny comedy. Unfortunately, I can’t even recommend “The Astrocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure” for such a simple purpose. The magic is completely unappealing, using lackluster spells and recycled visual effects. The fight scenes are either poorly animated, extremely forgettable, or both. And reiterating my earlier point on shallow characters, the comedy is almost as bad as Amy Schumer’s Netflix stand-up. I think the saddest part is that nothing is dramatic or remotely impactful. It feels like this show is catering to people with attention spans worse than the neighborhood kid with ADHD. Remember how I said that the story constantly jumps from place to place? Well, the same problem afflicts the anime on a scene level. Even now, I’m seriously having a hard time recalling any event that wouldn’t fit within a YouTube Short. It’s like like the creators were aware that nothing they have to offer can be compelling for longer than 60 seconds, so they just quickly cut to the next meaningless and mediocre thing. FINAL VERDICT - Was this made by the TikTok algorithm or a ChatGPT mash-up? Who cares, just stay away from it, please. There once was this really famous activist. His name was something like MKL or APH or whatever. He had this really cool speech that went… “I have a dream that one day Japan will stop making shitty Isakei shows and bring back high quality animanga.”
Okay let's get over this one again. It's not bad in term of story but yeah, it's just a normal isekai anime where the MC is ridiculously OP and gets literally everything. At this point there isn't much original stuff left. Despite the story still, there are 2 major issues I have with this one: First is the intentional cringe. You can't go one episode without someone act like "OMG what a surprise". I get it he is OP, and so what? Why are people even surprised. He has established the fact he is not someone normal. The second thing is the pacing is all over theplace. The progression is weird. Sometime its fast (like really really fast) and sometime its slower to the point you can go take a nap, comeback and the story still haven't even progress. Anyway, good art, good music, good character design (art only) and high production value with some (just little) original story to back it up. I'd give it a solid 6.5 (maybe 7). Well, it's still a recommended from me. Watch it if you have never watched this kind before or you're running out of thing to watch. If you have watch enough "trash isekai" before then I guess you can read the synopsis or others reviews and decide for yourself. Or just skip it if you don't have the time. Also, there is literally no romance in this thing, maybe there are in the original material, but I do not see any in the anime. Just a heads up
After reading reviews of this show, I have come to realize that it is unfair to judge an anime solely based on reviews. In my opinion, this show is very good and even surpasses some of the isekais rated 7-8. It is disheartening to see people criticize these series for being unoriginal instead of appreciating them for what they are. Some viewers have criticized the show for featuring a typical overpowered (OP) protagonist and a harem, but is that necessarily a bad thing? A review should not solely focus on a lack of originality without considering the context and appeal of the genre. While some people maygrow weary of watching similar content repeatedly, they should not dismiss a show simply for being unoriginal if they are not the target audience. Personally, as a fan of OP protagonists but not a fan of the "power of friendship" trope, I find this isekai enjoyable and would give it an 8 out of 10. However, I recognize that my bias towards isekais may impact my rating, so a more objective rating would be 7 out of 10. Therefore, I recommend this show to those who appreciate isekais, but if you dislike the genre, it may not be for you. In fact, why would you even watch an isekai if you don't like the genre?
Really surprised there are so many not recommended verdicts for this series. Is it a generic isekai progression? Sure. MC spends all season still testing his upper limits, so pretty much an origin season. Is there anything super surprising? No it's about everything you expect in OP MC Isekai stories. But, it was done in a way that was still enjoyable. And the thing that sets this apart from many others in the generic isekai genre, is the comedic timing. I thought it was gold. Maybe I'm just too corny. But there were many moments I burst out laughing out loud and thought it was great.
I love Isekai, if it's not some mindless fun, guilty pleasure of a series, then it just isn't done right. This isn't just done right, it is a full on trash isekai, and it knows it, it is entirely self-aware of what it is, it is aware of its over the top ridiculous nature. This series is a comedy, it doesn't take itself seriously, instead it mocks itself and much of the subgenre that at times with obvious moments of satire. The MC dies a heroic (but we are told ultimately pointless) death and is reincarnated, the death has a lot of similarities with Kazuma from Konosuba, exceptthe nature of it isn't quite so stupid. He steps in to save two girls being attacked by a guy with a knife, gets stabbed and dies, yet we're soon told that his intervention wasn't needed, as things would have worked out anyway. But due to his stepping in and changing things, the attacker did end up getting charged with murder, and not attempted assault. (As I said, there are obvious moments of satire) Due to being reincarnated, and due to the blessings of the gods, the MC ends up OP, because it's an isekai and we have to have an OP MC, but this is no power fantasy anime, because being OP as he is doesn't make his life easier, instead it makes it more difficult, as events and his lack of awareness / restraint all result in him not being able to live the 'normal' or 'peaceful' and unassuming life that he would like to live. The MC is also an 'accidental harem' protag, because of cause he is, but don't worry, because he's not going to get off easily with that either, as he keeps getting called out and put on full blast repeatedly for it, which is refreshing to see. I will say that the pace of the series, in terms of the passage of time / the time skips / jumping from different ages for the MC as he grows up throughout the course of the series - that isn't great, I'm not sure how it could have been done better, maybe they could have done more to 'show the passage of time' rather than just outright skip it, but that is just me. However the pace of the series in terms of the flow of scenes/action works really well, as there is never a dull moment, and it doesn't feel overly rushed either. (I've not read the source material, so I don't know what has or hasn't been skipped, because the likelihood is that it has skipped things as that is always the case in these adaptations, I only judge on the anime presented to me) This series does have issues, it isn't perfect The story is 'thin' the characters are 'thin' It also just doesn't do enough to rise above the pack. It looks as you would expect, it sounds as you would expect, there is no bad CG that distracts you from the series and takes you out of your watching experience. It is extremely entertaining, and just mindless fun, which is exactly what you want from an isekai. All in all, if you like Isekai, and if you like trash isekai, then this is for you. For everyone else, skip, because seriously, if you don't like isekai, don't watch it, because seriously, all those people who hate Isekai so much, you can just choose to not watch it, no one is forcing you to watch these things.
I was bored and wanted to watch some isekai trash, because honestly I have a soft spot for that genre. What I got instead didn't even live up to the most basic and generic isekai guidelines. Listen, sometimes I just want to see an OP MC go crazy while buildilng his harem. Story just has to be okay and I always give a good rating at that point. But this anime can't even deliver that. MC is OP indeed. OP has a harem indeed. But MC is one of the dumbest idiot ever. I wanted to like him because he's very innocent. At one point, he remindedme of kid Goku. Kinda pure. But guys- even kid Goku has 3x as much braincell as Cain. Cain's problem is that he was born as a 5 year old and his brain never matured beyond that. He's blessed with all these powers, but he never tests them. He never uses them. Instead, Cain spends most of the series trying to get everyone's praises. Which I guess kinda makes sense since his previous life he was alone. But my god he has daddy/mommy/sister/friends/lizards/dogs issues. He's easily the most OP person in the world, but still needs validation from his "teachers" and the Adventure guilds and everyone else. Cain never thinks for himself. Also, for being OP he has knows like, 3 attacks the entire series. How's the rest of the anime? His harem is okay. The girls are pretty. Personalities are the usual. The best one is probably his elf wife Tijuanna because she's hilarious. The rest are super cardboard cut outs that you've seen before. What is good about this anime? Honestly I enjoyed it at the start. It felt chill. There were some jokes that did make me laugh. Cain seemed promising and he was just learning and making friends. Then I think by episode 5 or so- you realize Cain is retarded, there is no plot, and nothing makese sense. The powers in this anime make no sense. Cain went into a hyperbolic chamber to train for 5 years and then was reverted back to his dumbass kid self but had absolutely no growth. The rest of the fighters in this anime have no abilities whatsoever. Music is forgettable. Animation is clunky and lazy. I will at least say the VA's are amazing and do try their best. Skip this one folks.
I kinda like this one. But then again, I kinda like these trashy harem isekais in general. There has recently been some great isekais with kid protagonists. Having the MC being a kid can make trivial tasks surprisingly hard, and even an op isekai protagonist has a hard time earning respect when he looks like a 12 yo. kid. This series was a decent watch for me, but if you don't like the tags, watching only the first 3 eps, or skipping it entirely, is understandable. MC - 7/10 (Great for a harem isekai MC) We have, for once, been favored by anime gods. We have been blessedwith a likeable isekai MC. Having the isekai'd MC being a kid in a "Harem" anime is actually a surprisingly smart move. The only way to prevent a "Harem" series from turning into an hentai is to either; make the MC dense as fuck, surgically remove his balls in order to maximize his Beta energy, or interrupt all situations as soon as they get spicy. Having MC being a kid (or a spookey skellington, like bone daddy Ains) makes it natural them not to be interested. His weakest point is his motivation. His aims are kinda vague; Become an adventurer and learn magic. He achieved the magic part when he was 5, and having the typical "OP MC powers" of the genre, battles are mostly MC one-shotting monsters. Battle scenes are boring, trivial encounters are taken way too serious and the combat choreography is almost non-existent. Knowing that MC is OP, i was looking forward to some explosion magic eyecandy, but most of the time ho just stabs stuff or cast boring fireball spell. What a letdown. Visuals - 8/10 The visuals are overall good. Frequent high quality closeups and great production value makes this one enjoyable to look at. Special effects are boring, and there is nothing that REALLY stands out. The 'in-betweens' are noticeable good, and movements are smooth, almost making it a 9/10 Audio - 8/10 Overall audio is good, not much really stand out, apart from the noticeable lack of stock sounds. Voice acting is fine too, but it is way over the top at times. I know it's intentional, but it drags down the score. The music (OP and EP excluded) was actually quite good. It fits and enhanced the overall experience. Production quality - 9/10 Pacing + Content - 6/10 The pacing is a bit rough. It feels like they squeezed 2 seasons together, but at the same time, nothing much is happening. Interruptions are constantly happening, the training sequence in particular came out of nowhere. The humor/gags are repetitive. People getting surprised by MCs powers and people scolding MC for overkilling. Its thrilling to hear the occasional "Nani?! MCs power is off the scale!", but hearing "That 10 yo. slew a dragon?!" and "That kid is a personal friend of the King?!" all the time makes it less of a gag, and more of an overused trope. Characters - 5/10 The cast is of decent size. It starts out great, but you quickly realize that most characters are 1-dimensional cardboard cutouts. I would (almost) prefer the usual shitty tropey characters to these. That being said, most of them are visually appealing, and their movements are nice. My favorites are the D-rank mentors, they have a bit more personality than the rest of the cast. Worldbuilding Its okay. Mostly just generic fantasy world. Some nice details are included; why the commoners and nobles go to the same school, and the reason MCs bland boardgame were such a success. 7/10 - Worth watching if you like the tags, decent 2nd monitor anime
Oh God...why am I still here, writing reviews for even the most generic, baseless uninspired, copycat Isekai story where there's dozens more like these that are just as "good" as how first-time novelists think they have a winning formula on their hands with the usual "Syosetu web novel, then converted into LN, finally converted into manga" schtick? Honestly, I blame the Japanese audience for this, because the West has little to no power of basically why this isn't translating into bowls of food for just authors like Yashu, but for everyone else involved in this lame-ass project and many others, thinking that generic Isekai hasn'tseen better days. And that is the story and current situation of why the anime industry is failing to recognize the good in the bad, in an era of cash-cows and thinking that they can do a sloppy adaptation. I'm sorry, but this is not the way things should work out. Honestly, the Isekai genre at this point, need not be Truck-kun to bring one into another world, be greeted by the fantasy world's deities to only then be blessed by the gods to be meted out with so much power in their hands that the otherworldly humans become so OP, they'd earn an entire kingdom's respect, as well as the girls that the Isekai-ed become acquaintances with just to follow him around and not do a single thing, other than to be the damsels in distress. That's who Kazuya Shiina is: struck down by protecting the innocent from an armed attack (literally Tensei Slime's beginning plot), only for him to be weaved into the fantasy world as Cain von Silford and the usual boring OP shtick ensues of achieving powers so great, the deal being that to defeat some entity of demon lords and the like. Oh, did I not mention the girls of principalities from commoners to nobles, and getting engaged at a very young age? Yeap, that all smells trouble for the Gary Stu of a kid that hasn't quite reached the double-digit age, and girls wanna sleep with him already. Honestly, watching the anime at a speed of the norm plus a quarter faster just would not suffice, because literally, both the anime and the source material itself is a barren wasteland of crass jokes that the people of the fantasy world thinks that it's merely impossible for otherworldly people to obtain power so great, it could topple kingdoms. If there is a laughing point in the anime, it would be that I'm "hilariously" dumbfounded that the series HAS an overarching plot. It's just that it's not used very effectively...or even when it tries to do so, it's nothing more than side cheddar. And all of the time, it hampers on Cain being maniacally ridonculous and everyone being amazed by it, my jaws drop at how stupid entire scenes look that boredom sets in quick. Forget the subpar animation and even the music itself, it's all generic stuff that even you've heard a difference in, and honestly, it's not much different from shows like it. It's trash period, but the safe kind of trash that not a lot of investment is needed if the anime failed, and honestly, we do not care for mindless entertainment (only if it even deserves a mention to begin with). That's it, end of story. Skip over this show and piss it by, there's more you can waste precious time on that's better than this crap.
"The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far" is an anime that captivates viewers with an intriguing story of nobility and inter-dimensional adventure. The main character, who is thrown into another world with the task of serving gods who sometimes go to extremes, successfully explores themes such as responsibility and power. The animated combat is fluid and eye-pleasing, while the narrative keeps the viewer engaged with just the right dose of mystery. The music enriches the experience, adding the necessary emotional depth. With strong character development and a smartly constructed world, this anime deserves a solid 8/10 rating, making it a must-watch forfans of the isekai and fantasy genres.
Honestly thought the show was cute, despite the lack of anything new to show for it, I enjoyed most of the episodes. As your classic trash Isekai go, this one filled the comfy style more, with a cute artstyle to it mixed with an overbearing amount of cute to go around, it's a show worth watching (If you don't have anything better to watch). My main complaint would be the lack of story, Cain Von Silford, our main man... or child hero gets reincarnated after saving 2 girls from a knife stabbing (which he later finds out the guy would have tripped before trying to killthem and he died for no reason - this point/joke would be pointless later on) as a child of a high ranked noble, being blessed by every single god of their world resulting in him being maxed out in all his stats, he starts off his journey one shotting a group of orcs and gaining +2 lolis for his harem, this would result in a continues cycle, kill monsters = reward, kill more monsters = gain his own land to rule over. Halfway through this "exciting" story, the author seems to realise this story needed a plot..... so we end up finding out there was a reason he came to this new world and that he was the chosen one to fight and defeat this overwhelming evil god set on destroying humanity, he finds out that his parents came to this world before and died to save it, causing this evil to be locked away, now, ready to be unleashed upon this world yet again, our hero will gain an infinite amount of power and a handful of wives to defeat it. So.... it's comfy, cute style, but nothing new to show for it, story is bland and only kicks in halfway through the anime, overall, i liked it, good trash Isekai for those cozy days you just wanna switch your brain off.
Read the manga or light novel instead. This anime was such an injustice to the manga/light novel. I watched this series simply having read the manga already and... the way they just skipped over things/rushed things just to get to that event in the last episode was very upsetting. A lot of anime omit things too, but this was just ridiculous. There were a few comedic moments but honestly, this whole thing felt like they tried to squeeze at least 2 or more seasons into 1. At the beginning, I was under the impression that they were rushing things to get the protagonist up tothe age when his adventures 'truly' begin instead of dragging us through how he becomes OP or whatever, but then it was clear later on that they were really just speed-running through everything. Those who haven't read the books could probably tell that content was obviously omitted too. Honestly, they could've stretched it out a bit more AND include all the details they cut out. The ending was so.. bad?? That epilogue was literally just them straight up summarizing events that could've been a few episodes on their own in the next season. This whole season felt like what one would do when they know for sure there wouldn't be another season. Did they even try? All in all, this was rushed and in the worst way possible. I'm only giving it a passing grade because it did have some funny bits and I did like the art. I apparently put off watching this for good reason because this had me so upset that I wrote a review after years of being on this site. lol
Sigh, I wanted to like this show, I really did. It’s got some fun moments, but I believe it’s an inherently flawed concept and was doomed to fail from the start. One of the few isekai you’ll see me labelling as generic and skippable . The main issue with Tensei Kizoku is that there’s absolutely zero stakes or reason to get invested into this show other than liking silk or the other girls’ designs. There’s not even the fanservice that most seasonal isekai would have to draw viewers in. It’s just a bland and uninspired power fantasy in which the MC is literally born at Godlevel and can beat anyone. Unlike shows like Auo which have similar set ups, the characterisation and world building is just non existent in this one. There were a few glimpses of potential, particularly as it relates to the backstory of the MC’s parents and some lore around that which was genuinely interesting and original, but it was kind of too little too late, plus the story reverted back to the generic power fantasy for the last few eps. The art style is aesthetically pleasing I’ll give them that for sure. Lots of bright colours and cute character designs, but the poor writing just really makes it feel like a waste. It’s a shame cause it seems like this anime has some potential, the LN is apparently pretty popular, but it just didn’t get a good adaptation here at all. Tensei Kizoku gets 6 out of 10
This was an adorable overpowered Isekai. Every episode made me smile in some way. I would put this a little bit below That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime, but still in the same category. The only real drawback is the pacing felt a little off near the end. They crammed a ton of important details into a single episode, then sorta took it slow, then crammed again. I feel like if they had 3 or 4 more episodes to work with, they could have kept a very good consistent pacing. Here's hoping they get greenlit for a season 2 and 3!
A very decent Isekai that made my cheeks hurt as I was smiling the whole way through. It is about a Japanese teenager who gets reincarnated into a fantasy world as an aristocratic baby, grows up surrounded by affection and gets given OP powers. There is nothing ground breaking here. It has all been done before. What makes this Isekai special is how adorably heartwarming it is. We never really get to see any character development from anyone, but the main cast are all incredibly nice people whose main purpose is to heavily counter any and all acts of ill behaviour. Bad manners are swiftlymet with a stern talking to, and bad people are just as swiftly brought to justice. The story is as basic as it gets, with maybe one surprising twist. The main enjoyment of this anime is the main character doing things that are not supposed to be possible for a twelve year old. And that's pretty much it. The whole concept of this anime is just people constantly reacting to the main character's actions in a rather over the top way. Especially the heads of state. That might sound like it gets old fast, but to me it really didn't. It's always funny in this anime, and the main character's embarrassment adds to it significantly. He is such a pushover at times it looks like he's getting bullied. I had a lot of fun watching this. It's not amazing (Especially the elf woman), as there is really nothing of substance here. It's just a silly Isekai packed with cliches, and I'm all here for it. 7/10
Too much cliche. Too much overly dramatic reaction for every small thing. Just too much annoying things. All these just kinda killed it for me. Was a hard time trying to finish this. For animation, I will give it a passing grade. Nothing special, but not The New Gate bad. For story, I will say it's okay. It's more how everything was executed that kinda ruined it. Like the MC is obviously OP, yet they have to make such a big reaction every single time, to the point it just pisses me off. I don't mind and quite like trash isekais. This one for me is not theworst, but definitely on the lower end.
This Anime will not blow your socks off and change the way you see the world. But it will make you laugh and smile, and will be a nice distraction from the monotony of everyday life. Isekai, as a genre, is heavily oversaturated with typical cliches and cookie-cutter plotlines. Characters are made to be basically kind enough that we root for them, but generally have little to no other personality. Tensei Kizoku was an example of how a cookie cutter cliche can be done in a way that is still a joy to watch. Before getting into the story and characters, it is worth mentioning how lovelythe visuals were. The art style of this anime was incredibly pleasant to watch and the Chibi and overdramatic expressions were used very well. The whole show felt much more alive and animated with these movements and expressions. The art style alone was enough to maintain my interest for quite a while. Now for the story: Cain von Silford is the third son of a prominent margrave and upon waking up as a three year old, realises he maintains his memory and character of his previous life as Shiina Kazuya. So far, all very typical to an isekai. Where most Isekai anime will bore you to death with the same forced "Look how hard I'm trying" or the alternative "Everything is easy and I guESS I'Ll do the ThiNG anD GEt a HaReM Of GirlS oH No!" Tensei kizoku allows the characters to be aware of the ridiculousness of Cain's abilities at only 5 years old and react accordingly. They do not treat him differently as a person, they simply treat him as Cain. As a person. Cain himself understands his abilities are ridiculous and resolves to practice self-restraint.... of which he fails tremendously. As a result, though, he makes good friends and aquaintances that AREN'T ALL POTENTIAL LOVE INTERESTS!!! I cannot stress enough how important a point this is to make. Every. Single. Isekai will make sure the main character is surrounded by a gaggle of attractive women who all kind of have feelngs for the MC, but Cain's found family is a healthy mix of male and female. It is so incredibly refreshing to see a true group of friends that aren't all competing for the MC's affections. Throughout the show it is truly funny and enjoyable to watch Cain absolutley fail at blending in or apearing even close to humanly strong and pretty quickly the people around him catch on to his overwhelming strength and lack of restraint. Does he end up with a harem? yes. Does it feel over exaggerated and unrealistic? surprisingly, no. The girls who all decide to marry him generally don't tale up a large part of the show. We see muh more of the main character than of girls out of his league fawning over him for no reason(As we see in many other shows). There isn't really a romance subplot. It feels much more "Found Family" as Cain is surrounded by people he genuinely cares about. Overall, Tensei Kizoku is a lighthearted stress free isekai anime that has a predictable plot but a lovely artstyle and cast of characters that make for an excellant way to get your mind off of life for a while.
A lot of people are hating this show because of how it is just another generic Isekai and I don't blame them, People cant keep consuming the same thing forever. But to me who is a big Isekai junkie, generic stuff like this is just something I am into and I think this show doesn't deserve all the hate it is getting but I do understand why people do. "Tensei Kizoku no Isekai Boukenroku: Jichou wo Shiranai Kamigami no Shito" is just another generic, typical, cliche Isekai story with really nothing new to present to us, And it does have it problems I am awarebut if you could get past those few things I think this is a pretty watchable show. One of the things that turn off people the most from this show is that the "Overly Lascivious" 12 year old girls who just moans and thirst for the MC and to be honest I am also turned off by this but If you can get over this stuff it is really not bad. The pace of the show is kind of messy, Some episodes its really fast and some episodes its super slow. This is just how most Isekai anime are, As for the animation it was quite appealing for Isekai standards it was definitely above average. The characters had cute designs and it wasn't really that choppy in all of places. One of the surprising things about the show is despite a lot of girls kind of thirsting over the MC it didn't have that much romance elements to it at the very least this first season it didn't have anything that is like remotely romantic, And the comedy was just alright. Overall I think more people should give it a chance. And if you could get past the loli bait stuff that happens it is pretty watchable. Hoping that things get better for season 2 if it ends up getting one.
Isekai slop, cliche collector. These are words that perfectly describe this anime . I felt the weight of my feet dragging while i watched this show. I am aware that in most cases, anime do changes in most of the cases from the original material. The same happens sometimes in the transition between light novels and mangas. So i do not know for certain if the reading material is as bad as this anime was. I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt, especially considering how isekai is treated for the most part . As pure slop. Of course.... The story has plenty ofisssues, from the insanely rapid pacing, to the MC becoming instantly overpowered and invincible...... The lack of personality on most characters, as they rotate around the MC,only existing for his sake...... The world building is ... nothing appalling like some other cases , even has some unique caveats but nothing groundbreaking. But now we reach the real sin of this show. The animation. Terrible. Horrendous. Both low budget and low effort. Most spells had no distinction outside of elements, the impact in-between blows from the sword segments was non-existent. The sound quality was just meh... The creatures were the same reused assets... Peaking in the final episodes where they used the head of that red dragon to create some worm-like creatures poppin from the ground or something.... Just an insult to the eyes. The truth is most isekai slop or not would still be a decent watch and a decent experience with some good animation . At this point the studios who keep picking these up and throwing them under the bus with this upfront to humanity they call an animation should just give up alltogheter. I don't know, maybe the material they used has better pacing in manga form, some good looking panels..... This animation really didn't motivate me to check it out.. Maybe i will someday. But until then... I just can't recommend this even to pass the time.
one of the best Isekai anime: + MC Overpower + Harem + Comedy + Light Story The disadvantages of this anime are: - Season 2 has not been released (whether there is a continuation of the story or not) I don't know. the story of a kind young man, who entered isekai with the blessing of the gods, pursued a career as a nobleman, had an adventure, surprised everyone with his strength (I like this) seeing people's reactions about how great the MC's strength is. the point is, I highly recommend this anime, for you guys don't hesitate to watch this anime. I give a score of 9/10 for this anime, if thereis a continuation of the new season, I will definitely give it 10/10.
